The location is great. The staff was helpful and kind. The room was clean and comfortable—it exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was outstanding. I loved the automatic coffee machine in the lobby. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in town.

There was no manager on site to assist us with a reservation issue as well as room issues. The light next to the bed did not function, the bathroom ceiling was discolored, and the bathroom door creaked loudly when opened or closed. Hotel has potential but is hampered by poor management.

Receptionist Vicky was very helpful and professional. Very good staff including the cleaners. I dropped a cup of orange juice, and the receptionist sent the cleaners right away. was during breakfast time.

The staff was very cooperative. They listened to my requests for another room and helped me book it in advance. There was snow all around the property, and parking the car was next to impossible. Lost my transmission for a second in the parking. There was black ice right outside the hotel I almost tripped while transferring my bags to car.

Quiet except for the heating/AC unit, which was loud and difficult to control 60 degree setting ( the lowest) = about 72). We reported that. Wonderful coffee available all the time and we liked the breakfast. Personnel were delightful.

My mother stayed here on her drive to DC, and I couldn't say enough good things. She was feeling very faint and unwell as she arrived to the hotel, and she said the young man who checked her in (Daniel J.) was amazing with her. He went out of his way to help her to her room and get her everything she needed to feel better. I would highly recommend this hotel, just from the service alone.

There is one exception and the only incident is when I was leaving to hotel to continue to NJ there was a receptionist (I will not share the name) who said “did I enjoyed my stay”, I told her there were a few things in my room that I would mention to the corporate office in my review. She was insist that I tell her. There were other people behind me and I didn’t want them to wait and hear what I would say, but that was not good enough for her, she was loud and yelling across the hotel lobby as I walked away. I did not want to get into a “Karen situation”. I don’t think I’ve received a survey from HIE yet. But when I do I will be more specific on the details. This incident doesn’t warrant me from not staying at this hotel again. I’ve enjoyed my stays. It is a quick on and off Interstate 95. Lots of restaurants around and shopping right across the way.

This was my first time travelling to America. I had a great stay and would stay again. The beds are high and comfortable, bathroom was nice just had to get used to using the shower dial because I hated blasting cold water on myself. The Wawa gas station across the road does nice breakfast and coffees. Overall it exceeded my expectations.

Roon was not soufproof, listened to the couple across hall talking and etc all night. Bed was uncomfortable, tile in bathroom is lifting and it caused me to trip.

I normally stay here when in town as it's close to my office and shopping/dining/interstate. The bathroom doesnt have great ventilation so there was a large water bubble on the ceiling above the tub along with what looked like mold. Otherwise, the staff are friendly. I wish there was more gluten free options at breakfast.

The first room we were assigned had some issues but the person who attended us at the front desk was very kind and helpful and changed our room. Everything was great! I would definitely recommend this hotel!

I was booked twice for the same night. Instead of two consecutive nights. They refused to change my incorrect booking to the second night. I hoped to just change the date to the second night and if there was a fee difference that was fine. It was this peticular manager that was the issue. Won’t stay here again.

The hotel was decent. Our room definitely needed an upgrade, especially the bathroom. For example, there was a sponge like material underneath the bathroom door and it kept getting wet anytime we showered, leaving residue. Other than that, the hotel was good for our 3 night stay.

We stayed here twice—once on our drive from NYC to Atlanta and again on our return. The first time was okay aside from check-in: I had booked and paid for two rooms, one in my name and one in my son’s, and they still made me wake him up and bring him in to show ID, even though I had it on me. The second stay was a disaster. The phone in my room didn’t work, and when my husband tried to pick up a package for me at the front desk (with my ID on his phone and me on speaker), they refused to give it to him. They said I had to call from the room—impossible, since the phone was broken. Then the toilet suddenly started flooding for no reason. The front desk clerk came up himself (maintenance had gone home sick), and while he was very kind, he was completely unprepared. He brought a snake even though the issue wasn’t a clog, didn’t clean up the mess, said he couldn’t find a mop, and disappeared. We were left with a soaked bathroom floor, wet towels, and no way to shower before leaving. To make matters worse, we were limited to four towels despite having multiple people, and my sheets were dirty. The whole situation delayed us by hours and caused us to miss an important appointment. It was a very disappointing ordeal.

Awesome stay. Very clean. We had bad experience at a different hotel, so we really wanted to make sure it was clean and it was :)

This could be a 5-star property. But some little things kept it from that, for us. First, the stopper in the shower was broken, so I had to wedge the bar of soap under it to hold it open so we could shower. Second, the section of the buffet that has the fresh pancakes had ants crawling all over it. We saw between 10-20. Every other part of the buffet was clean. Finally, it seems like Stafford has some gang activity. Our sleep was not good due to really loud motorcycles and sports cars revving their engines around the property late into the night. So loud it kept waking us up, even with rain noise playing on our phones.

Front desk woman was super rude, my card was charged twice, the lot was not plowed and there was no parking, she had her vehicle parked outside the door so there was no room to drop your luggage off or people without blocking the entire road...she was very arrogant and wouldn't come out of the side room to take care of us...it was a chore to answer questions and was quick to let me know they do nottt do price matching to online prices! Her price was 145 for a room, online was 79.00....i sat in the lobby and booked it online and saved 66.00...

No hot water. Went to call the front desk and the phone was inoperable. At the time i was settling down i had to pack up and move to another room.

linens in room were stained. asked manager for new linens and they had hair on them, the manager actually removed and ended up getting me different blankets. the bathroom drain was clogged and ended up taking a shower with tub halfway full over water- mind you my shower was only about 5 mins. they needed up switching our rooms. no compensation was ever offered. just gross.

Stopped in person to cancel due to "Winter Storm Warning". Told there was no manager available. Expedia called in parking lot and they too were delayed and dodged so as not to honor my attempt to cancel. Bad customer service and will lie to your face.

Lastly, the hotel itself was spotless. Cleanliness is so important, and this place exceeded my expectations in every area. From the lobby to our room, everything was well-maintained and tidy. Liked the property but had difficulty finding it on our car GPS directions system since the front of the property does not face a major road.

Nice clean hotel with friendly service. Expected handi cap bars around the toilet but no luck.

A very nice hotel, especially for the price. The room and lobby areas were all clean and updated and the breakfast is plentiful with extended hours compared to other places. Our check in went very smooth and the desk manager who helped us was very efficient and helpful and managed to change our room to something more conducive to our stay.

Our first time staying at a hotel at a Tesla Supercharger and it was very convenient. They upgraded us to a suite. The hotel is not the height of beautiful design. The furniture looks designed for a nursing home. The bed was comfortable and the staff was helpful. The full breakfast was an added bonus. All in all a nice stay. I would go back for a quick overnight.

This was indeed the cleanest, most comfortable Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed! Everything was almost excellent! The staff, the full breakfast bar, the cleaners, the location, the amenities, and room! The location was a big plus because every place I needed to go was within 5 miles or less. The breakfast bar was a bit beyond continental! They had pancakes as well and it was stocked each time I went up. The young man was a kind smiling soul! The staff were attentive and ready to help. The pool was clean with a comfortable atmosphere! I will go back if I am brought that way again. Very satisfied. The price was reasonable as well.
