Good for a short stay. People were friendly, good location, and breakfast options were decent. Like most hotels in this range, a refresh will be needed (paint, carpets, doors, etc). Not much ceiling lighting - there were lamps and floor lights so areas tended to be a little too dark for me.

Service was great and I appreciated the out door pool in comparison to other hotels. It was nice. The only negative, the pool had a ton of leaves in it. So I cleaned it out myself.

Clean room and bathroom. The shower insert was right white and squeaky clean. Beds were comfy. We brought our own pillows because hotel pillows are hot or miss. The ac worked as it should. The amenities in the room and within the hotel were exactly as needed. Good variety for breakfast. Nice lounge. Pool and basic hotel gym. The water pressure was good and the water stayed warm. The only complaint was the bathroom door opened in towards the toilet and you have to back up to open it all the way or close it first before sitting down. It’s as stupid a set up as a public restroom at a store. If you are cramped on space make it a pocket door for gosh sake. Other than that the only comment is the paint and caulk job was junk in the bathroom. A good paint and caulk job isn’t typical in comfort inn but people still notice. The halls and elevator were clean and there was no bad odor. The front desk staff was so nice and helpful. Our door latch somehow got stuck so when we tried to get back in the room we couldn’t get it opened more than 2-3 inches but she had a tape and rubber and contraption she made and used because apparently it happened before. Her tip. Make sure the door latch people use at night is put all the way back against the wall before you leave and close the door so it doesn’t swing and block access getting back in.

I will definitely stay here again. In a nice neighborhood with convenient restaurants and easy on/off Highway 95. Only thing I noted, which did not impact our stay, was the beds were double not queen. However, we all found them exceptionally comfortable.

The room is very well accommodated, the bath tub looks renewed the water in the shower is very soft, the beds are firm and comfortable, but I think those are full size not queen size. Front desk girl very polite and friendly, i have been in the same hotel in Dumfries and are really good for a good price

We’ve stayed at this property 2 years in a row & it’s just what we need. A spacious enough room & a place to sleep. This is a relatively basic hotel & gives you just that. I’ll say the bathrooms are very small & you can’t close the door without going next to the toilet. Other than that it’s a pretty decent & clean hotel

The room smelled so bad. Pulled down the bed spread the sheets looked like they were never changed. The tub was lumpy and messed up. So unsatisfied! With our stay. We actually left at 2:30 in the morning we were so uncomfortable and sleeved!

The hotel was good and convenient to just that area, however to get to other VA attractions it was not as convenient. Traveling I95 was not an easy task. We trailered our motorcycle to the hotel and was unable to venture out with it because of the heavy traffic.

This is by far my favorite hotel to stay at when I’m visiting my boyfriend and his family in VA. The service here is impeccable. I was finally able to use the pool this time around. It was great! I always meet nice people here as well. Cant wait to be back :)

Even with setting the AC at 62 the room was barely cool. There was no water pressure in the shower which made washing your hair and washing was a challenge. We also noticed one of the smoke detectors by our room was pulled put and damaged. We notified the front desk, but it was still the same when we checked out.

It was truly a great stay. I got to check in a little late at night and was welcomed with a fresh face. I had a personal issue with charging my card for the hotel fee but the employee at the front desk was very patient and friendly. The room was great as I stood in the king suite. It was very cleaned and comfortable.

Stayed 1 night on our venture down to Florida. Had a boat behind me so I was nervous about parking. Had no problem parking it, or worrrying about its safety. Clean comfortable room. Friendly (late) check in. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay if you want to be near the highway. Dining options plentiful within a 5 mile radius. Good shopping a short drive away. Breakfast wasn't cooked to order as advertised but the options were still decent. Overall a nice, quiet stay.

It was a very nice stay but I did not like all the plastic that was used. The shampoo bottles and stuff where in plastic bags as well as each pack of towels also in individual plastic bags. Very unnecessary and bad for the environment.

Noted in the box above. Paying for the room not amenities like a reasonable breakfast time, breakfast seating and coffee choices. If you are a late night arrival, expect to go to McDonalds.

Pool was filthy hadn’t been properly maintained only stayed 2 hours I had called before booking and my main reason was the pool the front desk staff told me the pool was open 9am to 10pm but withheld that I could wind up with a brain eating organism if I had gone in the pool. The manager refused to refund me I live 20 minutes away I spent the night at home. This was supposed to be a mini vacation for me and my childhood best friend to catch up. BUT, when you turned the bathroom fan on there was a strong cigarette smell and after a shower, there was orange steam bubbles on the ceiling. We did not complain to anyone as it did not bother us. The bedding didn't smell nor did anything else in the room so we were fine with it. But when we got home there was a $200 charge at our bank for smoking in the room. We never so much as lit a cigarette in that room! Room 102 is by the exit and we smoked outside. We called, on Sunday, to explain that we didn't smoke in the room and the girl was snippy and accusatory! She said they just put new carpet in and painted the ceiling so it had to be us!!! I asked her to go in the room and put the fan and shower on, and to also look at cameras from the outside and you will see us outside. Apparently she had no interest in that. Three days of frustration, restless nights, and three phone calls later, I was told they'll give us the "benefit of doubt and refund our money!" So, in their eyes, we're lying! They should have ran the fan and shower, and looked at the cameras like I suggested, and then apologetically gave us the refund. If you stay there, and smell cigarettes, go complain immediately!

Concierge recommended a restaurant that was off the chart but very good we were so pleased. The breakfast was substantial with lots of options. The only thing that was a little challenging is the front of the building is right on the highway so there was some noise.

Outdated rooms with a toilet that didn’t flush right. The fan/bathroom light were on switch and the fan was so incredibly loud. The water pressure was also terrible and just trickled out. Also loud.

Everything was excellent. Including the evening desk staff to the room to the morning breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very happy to get a room with the weather and traffic disaster that hit Virginia. Any issues such as parking was not the fault of the hotel.

the hotel was perfectly located right off the interstate; it was clean and the staff were all polite; even though our stay was just for overnight I would recommend this hotel for anybody staying in the stafford area

We didn’t stay at the hotel. When we arrived aRound 10:00 pm we were refused lodging as we had a small dog. The site had indicated “pet friendly “ however, I was told that only service animals were allowed in. At that time we had to find a hotel accepting pets. Every hotel in town was fully booked or not accepting pets.

We had an excellent experience at this Comfort Inn. Check in was quick and friendly. We felt very welcomed. The hotel is centrally located and very clean. Our room was as described and very clean. COVID protocols are followed closely as far as sanitation. Bed was extremely comfortable and everyone on staff was excellent. Breakfast was eggs and meat with some other limited options but overall good. The only thing lacking was coffee/hot tea in the lobby. That would have been nice after a long drive. I would stay here again with no doubts!

Staff was incredible!! King bed not comfy and the full beds too small for 2 people! Breakfast staff so great! The fire alarm that scared us to death but was from burnt toast. There should be someone to let guests know it’s nothing
