    Had to give a statement to the police which we called twice in 2 days. I was scared the whole time I stayed here. If you are not familiar with this area I highly recommend you DO NOT STAY here. People were bashing up their cars and women and it was aggressive and violent here.

    The courtyard is beautiful Our non smoking room smelled liked a musty old ashtray (this is our second stay with the same issue) and cigarette burns in the bedding and cell phone outlets didn't work.

    Not much 1st room i was assigned had no refrigerator. My wife and I who have multiple health issues could barely climb the stairs to the second floor. Even though there was no refrigerator I had to pay xtra for any other room. Not right for a genious level 3. Not a very accommodating place.

    Parking is very accessible. I thought the bathing area was sparkling clean and floors. Beds were okay. I slept well. Dennys was right next store and their coffee is great so never tried any coffee there. Neighborhood is sketchy but I felt safe.

    Not Clean, pillows and sheets were stained, toilet very obviously not clean. Didn’t have a high expectations, but expected at least clean bedding and a toilet. First room had a smoke detector that needed a battery change they moved me to another room with a curtain that did not close. Did not realize this until very late so I covered the window as best as I could. The following night, Front desk pounded on my door at midnight, waking myself and my daughter to remove the window covering. I explained why I put it there. They had no concern for my safety as I was on the ground floor and people walking by looking directly into my room- no privacy or safety. They would not leave until I removed the window covering never offered to move me to a safer room. This is a budget hotel I get that …but they have no concern for your safety nor do they provide the basics of a hotel room. Is staying here. I would highly recommend you bring your own pillowcases and sheets, possibly curtains.

    Room was gross. Power kept going out. Bed table still had drink and food residue from previous people. The electric panel on the bedside table also was falling apart and did not work. Had a non smoking room but people behind us and next to us were smoking so it kept wafting into our room. AC pushed out fan air. Did not get cold. We ended up not staying. We tried making the most of it but left a few hours. Never again will we go back.

    - The sheets were stained with blood. - Room was extremely dirty. - The staff are very rude and useless, I asked for new sheets and the incompetent lady that looked like she hated her life working for this hotel, refused to give me clean sheets. After complaining they refused to issue a refund or any sort of compensation for the disgusting room I had to stay in. - If I can give this hotel a negative rating I would. This place should be shut down. Worst experience of my life.

    I wasn't expecting much from the rating, but I thought this property was lovely, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very nice! My room was poolside so I thought it might be noisy, but this is one of the quietest properties I have ever stayed at! Courtyard and pool were lovely, room was a good temperature and very clean, and check in and out were simple. Really have no complaints, and thought this was a nicer stay than some of the higher-rated hotels at which I've stayed.

    Please do not stay here. I was so excited they allowed me to bring the kittens I’m bottle feeding and it turned into a horrible vacation. I let it slide that I couldn’t go a second without my shoes or I needed to scrub the black off them. I let it go that there was constant parking lot activity outside my door and I got no sleep. On my second night there in my lack of sleep while making a bottle 1 kitten got out and peed on a comforter. It was in the middle of the night so the only option I had was to remove it and make sure nothing else happened and nothing else happened. I left a pillow with my late grandmother pillow case on and tried to get it back as it was important. I let it slide when the hotel lied and said that everything in the room was covered in urine and disposed off due to biohazard. I got mad and probably rude but I let it go. Unless they are referring to the towel I put down on the floor when I took a shower because the curtain went all over the place and let water out. The floor was so dirty that towel I put down turned colors from the wet floor. But, first morning I woke up there I looked in the mirror and saw what I thought was a bite in my scalp. I panicked thinking there’s bugs, I wish it was that. This hotel gave me a fungal infection on my scalp. Refuse to give me a refund yet the place is unsanitary and not what I paid for. I was so stoked for this vacation now I wish on everything I wouldn’t have wasted my money.

    The courtyard was very nice with lots of mature plants. All of the staff were nice and accommodating. Stayed at the back of the motel where it was quiet. New shower, toilet and sink. Did not have bed bugs and no evidence of roaches, so that was a positive! The room needed a deep clean. Visible dirt and hair in the corners. Surfaces and especially the bathroom door was sticky. Bed sheets were dirty (had to get new ones) and the comforter and bedspread had several cigarette burns (despite being in a non-smoking room). Office chair also had cigarette burns and the room had an odd odor (ozone machine used to get rid of smoke??)

The receptionist threatened us and denied the refund stating Expedia needed to issue the refund and they had no authority Expedia contacted the hotel on several occasions and hotel refused to answer the call from Expedia or when the phone was picked up they always made the excuse the did not have the authority. The hotel always made the excuse that the manager was not on duty. We have travelled around the world and in over 50 years of travelling this is the worst experience we’ve ever seen in a lodging, DO NOT STAY IN THIS DISGUSTING HOTEL.

    The only thing nice about this place is the employees in the office and the couple of maintenance guys that did their best to help us be comfortable the owners have a whole bunch of stuff all around the place it looks like it's abandoned the AC smell like mildew the tub have holes and yellow stains it looks like they painted it obviously the owners don't pay for the greenery around the place there was a whole bunch of boxes and stuff in the entrance I was horrified I thought the place was abandoned and closed I have never seen a place just because you caused $98 a night I've never been in the place like this kudos to the employees the owners of this place should be ashamed of themselves

    The property was dirty, smelled terrible, and was clearly not well maintained. The room was not properly cleaned, there was no blanket provided, and the overall atmosphere was very uncomfortable. The front desk staff seemed overwhelmed and didn’t know whether to deal with drug-related issues or the problematic tenants. I never felt safe or properly cared for during my stay. I will definitely not return, and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

    Overall, was good, except no frig in room or microwave due to Queen Bed room, when I booked it mention difference in price of rooms, must not have paid attention to the detales, but there were no King rooms available when booked or at desk, so we took it, but the bed had very bad springs, made a terrible noise under entire bed with any movement, sounded like springs were metal and only thing holding bed up.

    I booked & paid for 2 nights. When we got there, the room was occupied by someone else and the staff has no clue about it because the system is not updated . We got there around 11:30 pm. Checked in and were trying to get into the room, but no luck - the keys did not work at all. My husband brought the keys to the receptionist for help and came back with the re-keys, but still not working. While waiting for my husband to run back to the receptionist for the 2nd time, I heard people talking inside the room. By then, the receptionist realized that the room was taken by someone else then staff came and asked me to go back to the reception desk so he can try to find us another room. The system is outdated, there is no way for him to find out if there is a vacant room, he have to physically check one by one. Luckily, there is one left vacant. Staff gave us the keys to that last vacant room. We got there, but guess what - the keys won’t work. My husband run back to the receptionist again for 3rd time and came back but still unable to open the door. My poor husband had to go back there for the 4 th time and came back together with the receptionist with a different key. Finally, it works and we got into the room around 1 am the next day - so frustrated & exhausted. Our problem was not ended here. We got the same problem when we came back to the hotel the next day around 9:30pm, the key won’t work.

    The room was nice, clean (except for the floors). Toilet was constantly clogging even though I was out all day long. complained first night and they told me there was no other room available so I had basically no toilet to use. Next morning I went to get the plunger cause the desk said I had to clear it. There was a very nice employee who came and cleared the toilet for me. I gave him a tip for being so nice. Toilet was fine until around 10 pm. Called desk again and a guy said he'd bring up the plunger for me. I told him I'm keeping this overnight cause I have to leave early in the morning and I'm not going to deal with this issue. I cleared toilet that night and again the next morning. It was find for the next 2 days until the morning I was checking out it was clogged again. I had to hurry up and check out early so I could go to a Dunkin or some other place to get coffee and use their bathroom. This was basically my one main complaint. The main lobby was also difficult to find at first (I arrived when it was dark), because they had a huge tarp with stuff underneath right in the middle where the cars would pull up to check in. I mentioned it to the woman at the desk and she said the Inn was under some construction. I just feel this tarp and stuff should have been put elsewhere.

    This hotel needs better housekeepers and new tubs. The tub was dirty, i passed my hand on the side and it was crusty. The side of the tub had cigarette burns as well as stains all over it. The mattress was so hard i didnt sleep more than 3 hours. I woke up sore. The pool wasnt functional and it is almost summer with 90 degree weather. Very disappointed

    We spent two nights at the Red roof inn in two different rooms due to scheduling of my plans both rooms receptionally clean and nice with some things that were worn due to time the bathtubs need a little update and some repairs done on the toilet because it did wobble in one of the rooms but other than that the room was amazing the beds were soft very clean and a staff was beyond helpful and welcoming had two small children with us and felt very safe to whole entire time will definitely return when we travel to St Petersburg again
