Parking was $37.50 a night. Hotel room was not ready at 2:30 for 3pm check which we have never had an issue with at any other hotel. They did let us check in to a different room type. They put us in a room with two queen beds instead of king room. The room smelled so bad, like a moldy towel. Ac was either not working or freezing- there was NO in between. Beds were uncomfortable. The only good thing was location to restaurants and nightlife but there are dozens of other hotels to choose from in that area. We would not stay here again or recommend.

Staff was super friendly and professional. Especially Perry at the front desk. Location is fantastic for downtown St. Pete. We would stay again.

Room was clean and property was well cared for. Location was amazing. No noise from outside could be heard at all in our 8th floor room. Adequate breakfast and great coffee. Would stay here again!! 10/10

Our room was a corner room on the 11th floor and it was one of the largest hotel rooms I've ever had. I loved that our living area was completely separated from the entrance by a hallway. The pullout sofa/sectional was very comfortable and a good place for us to work when needed. It was separated from the king sized bed by a small partition. The room was very clean and had a small coffee maker available but we just got ours from the lobby with breakfast. Breakfast was free and had great options for gluten-free needs. The hotel itself was only about 2 blocks from the water. A quick 15 minute walk to the Dali museum and on Saturday there was an outdoor market. If you like to party, all the clubs seemed to be located across the street but the traffic wasn't too bad when we came back that evening. In our room we couldn't hear any outside noise and with the blackout shade we could block out the lights as well. The gym (5th floor)was decent with hood options and had a wall of windows that looked out on the city. There were towels, water and earbuds available for guests to use. The pool (7th) was warmed and though it wasn't large it did have plenty of chairs surrounding it. It seemed good for families with small kids. Overall, this was an exceptional experience.

Hotel was just ok. I wouldn’t stay there again. I don’t see how it gets such a high rating. Felt old and dated. There was a shooting on the same block at 3 am.

There was an ongoing issue with a screaming baby next door late at night but front desk was responsive and checked on guests and that seem to help.

Nice property. The room was good, the parking worked well, and the breakfast was good too. I’d stay there again.

My second time staying at this centralized hotel near amazing restaurants, sights, pier and museums.

It was okay. Decent area but A LOT of homeless people. Like multiple on every corner. The hotel was clean, but the halls and elevator and corners of the rooms were dirty and you could tell not properly cleaned. You had to pay to park, there is nowhere to fill your water bottle other than the sink. The bar wouldn’t fill our waters. Just not like some of the nicer places we have stayed.

Excellent breakfast, just wish it didn't end at 9:30. On vacation so would have rather slept in a little longer. Amazing staff! Very accommodating.

Wonderful experience

One side of this hotel faces a popular dance club Good night John boy, and if your room is on that side, you will hear loud booming music until the early am. At least on a weekend night. I had a sound machine and I could not fall sleep until 2am. And we were supposedly on a “high floor”, 8th floor. Other than that, hotel was nice. Parking was easy in the garage.

-Never got a t promised text saying when it was ready -Room never was ready, switched out resv to different room -Lobby was FULL of kids lying on sofas and chairs being loud and eating every time you walked through -Pool time was a nightmare, kids took over pool splashing others, jumping in, being loud, throwing nerfs and volleyballs, having races -Got hit twice with ball at the other end of the pool -Parents/chaperones did NOTHING as they were gathered at their own table chatting not paying attention -Found out it was a swim team and a dance team staying at the hotel -Was told Hyatt was short staffed to handle all the guests -Other patrons complained about same issues to us -Told front desk and they suggested “we call the manager” not the other way around or “maybe they could give us a drink voucher but the bar wasn’t open” so that didn’t happen. -They didn’t charge for parking because of the long delay of check in -Never an apology, just agreeing there were “a lot of kids”, staff admitted they were getting complaints -Cleaning staff was friendly -Hotel felt older and dull, not a typical Hyatt standard that I’ve had in the past. -Won’t be staying at Hyatt again and we frequent St Pete on weekends every couple three months.

Traveled w a friend fo a weekend concert that was in the area & it was so convenient. There’s a lot to do in the area for everyone. Plenty of restaurants and shops. Very clean area. Staff was good. The room was nice and clean. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you

We chose this hotel because it showed a high rating but we felt scammed. Don’t be fooled. The lobby floors and rugs were dirty and the room was not much better. The showers were dirty and the room sofa bed was absolutely awful. There are also clubs outside and the bass music kept the kids up until past 2am. Definitely do not recommend.

Room was in excellent condition with comfortable beds, housekeeping was friendly and efficient, all staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable...not to mention the location was perfect.

The man who checked us in acted like we were bothering him just to check in. He was abrupt and rude and it really surprised us. The hotel was certainly nice with a good breakfast buffet but our experience was tainted by our initial contact in checking in.

I was really disappointed that the hotel would not work with me on a refund (or future stay or partial refund or...) when we were forced to cancel and return home before risking being stranded by the winter storm. I've also apparently lost all of my Hotels.com reward dollars, which is a big disappointment.

The room was spacious and clean. I absolutely loved that they came and picked up the room after our first nights stay (I stayed two nights). The included breakfast was also good. I was upset by the surprise $24 per night parking fee. And the low water pressure in the shower was also not a pleasant surprise.

Location, clean and nice sized rooms. Other than going next door/adjacent on property but not in hotel , lack of a place to have a lite bite to eat when arriving at 7:30 pm after working all day.

Housekeepers The reception staffs was rude, they didn’t have knowledge how to deal with customer, the breakfast. It was very bad.. the variety it was limited. The bathroom has mold. Parking lot expensive. The furniture in the lobby it was very dirty and has stain. The people was serving the breakfast. They staff serving breakfast they was very rude.

Bar staff was nothing short of terrible. Poor attitude and even worse communication from a female bartender who had an axe to grind with every patron. There’s a reason the bar area was empty and they closed early instead of serving a large group. Good news is there’s a pub next door. Otherwise hotel stay was fine.

It felt like a mini apartment. My wife has usually trouble sleeping but commented on the comfy beds. One Nightclub on the street but noise level was manageable and ceased early enough. Some very good dining options right there. Oak & Stone is absolutely great w a wall of craft beers and great personal dyi pizzas.

The hotel was a bit hard to find with the directions provided (one of the entrances to the parking garage is not labeled as the Hotel). Check in/out was efficient and parking was free. Breakfast was hot and plentiful with a decent selection of options. This is a great hotel if you have a show to see at Janus!

Front desk needs more employees. Both times I had to wait while employee either was on phone or doing computer work without an acknowledgement of my presence. Once they helped me they were great but it seems odd for this size property to only have one front desk employee

This is usually an excellent hotel at which I have stayed several times, but this time the room smelled like bleach and the sheets were extremely wrinkled and the bed was not made well. In addition, overnight hotel parking cost $34.78 which was much more than the previous times.

Across the street was multiple bars/venues that were very crowded and noisy with loud music playing. significant police presence ensured safety, but a bit annoying none the less.

Our go to place anytime in St Pete. Walking distance to everything. Views of the city -incredible. Rooms are spacious, very quiet, comfortable. Only problem on this room the sink leaked horribly. Breakfast is very good.

Everything was great! Only thing that threw me off was I was told I could order food starting at 5pm (7/2 is when I tried) and when I tried to order I was told they weren’t serving food that night. No biggie I went next door to the pizza joint but I would just say be sure to say dinner may not be served. My room was very clean and comfortable and walkability from the hotel to where I needed to go was easy.

We stayed for 5 nights in June. The hotel staff didnt know who we were, we overlooked the pool area which had not been cleaned in sometime and if want to sit by the pool to get some sun you have to get there before 3pm otherwise its completely shaded...the hotel is in a good location and surrounded by good restaurants but for the money you can find something better...

The property itself was pretty bare and basic. We did not like how our check-in was supposed to be at 3 pm and we were not notified that our room was not ready… we arrived to the hotel at 4 pm and they said it would be another 30 minutes. Not ideal because we had a wedding we needed to go to and get ready for within the hour. The staff did at least comp our parking rate, but this should have been communicated way better

Many times the tvs were not working in the room or entire hotel. Some main entrance doors were also out of service. Pool area nice but water had lots of leaves. No room service and restaurant service in the hotel was also out of service. And surprised wasn't any toiletries in the room for this kind of hotel.

Hotel rooms were subpar. There was a shortage of pillows in the room, 3 per bed. Stale messing arrival but Bri did come in

Accommodations are excellent! This hotel is perfectly located in downtown St. Pete. Lots of restaurants and across the street from the Janus Live music venue!

The location of this hotel is great. A short walk from many food and entertainment options. The staff and the facility could both use some changes. The staff didn’t seem happy to be working there and the facility needs refreshing and better cleaning.

This hotel was in an excellent location with most things in walking distance. Very clean and comfortable.

Housekeeping was NOT offered daily. I don’t understand why. This started with COVID and they have kept it as a norm. Not OK.

Hotels location is great but the hotel is very dated needs to be renovated.

Related to the facilities, cleanliness and hotel food and location was good, related to the service is very poor, I even went to the bathroom of the hotel lobby and the person who was in the area of the drinks bar, called the police because he assumed that I was not a guest of the hotel, which went through a very bad time, I notified what happened to reception and no one did anything, this happened, May -10-2025 hour 11pm approximately, I recommend that employees like this should not work in a hotel like this.

Property is well located. There is a night club that has extremely loud music the whole night. It was a muffled sound but not pleasant.

Nice & Clean hotel. Good breakfast, perfect position.

No complimentary water in the room or at the front desk. That will keep me from staying here next time. It is a small expense, with a big reward in return. Not doing it shows a lack of understanding of your clientele.

Clean, convenient, great stay.

The best feature of this hotel is the location; the hot items at breakfast was a nice surprise - I was expecting just the usual continental offerings. The lobby is beautiful but the rooms are just okay because they are a little dated at this point - I could see a lot of wear and tear, especially in the duvet. The filling inside has become hard and if you lift the duvet up to the light, you can see the filling inside has has hardened into clumps, which affects the comfort factor.

The room was clean and the view was nice (paid extra for the view of the water). It was noisy at night due to the local bar/party scene but not so much that we could not sleep. It was convenient to have a restaurant just a few steps from the door of the hotel. Only downside was the sliding door to the bathroom didn’t allow for much privacy.

Not sure why we are charged for parking, seems unnecessary

Great spot in downtown; walkable to everything and had decent views of the bay between the buildings. Higher floors are quieter; especially helpful when there are shows at the venue across the street.

Convenient to shopping, dining, and events. Clean and comfortable.

This hotel is in a very central location; you can walk to the water and to many restaurants. The hotel is clean and well kept up. The buffet breakfast was more than adequate, and the staff are friendly. A paid parking garage with in and out privileges is conveniently attached to the hotel. The only reason we didn’t rate the hotel with all five stars is because of the loud music from the bars across the street from the hotel. While not the hotel’s fault, we would have appreciated a warning upon check-in so we could have asked to stay on the quiet side of the hotel. We would stay again and request a room on the quiet side.

Very noisy at night. Not clean. Big disappointment

Decent enough stay. Room was not as updated as I expected, chipped paint on the ceiling. Was told by an Uber driver that the building is brand new and it did not seem that way. But did seem clean enough. Hotel overbooked the king room I originally booked and gave me a room with double beds and called it an “upgrade” because I got two beds for just myself..
