the breakfast was nonexistent, the air conditioning left you feeling sticky and wet due to no humidity control. few trash cans on property and the ones in room only in bathroom and tiny. King size suite and table on one side of bed so light was minimal. Also only one table beside the sofa. Just didn't seem to be anything to make your stay comfortable. no water in room to make coffee, fridge was not cold and micro was very hard to open.

I like the staff. All people are kind and friendly. Reception, cleaners, kitchen... it has a good location. The first day the bedrom was clean and organized but the next 2 nights they just add some towels and cleaned the trash. It also has a strange smell on the room and breakfast was not good. The beds were also very small for a couple.

The hotel is old and needs to be renovated. The front desk clerk was very rude. I stayed 5 nights and did get my room cleaned once.

My family and I traveled to St Pete to stay at this location. The front receptionist was friendly however they didn't allow early check in and breakfast started at 7:00 a.m. we arrived at 6:55 a.m and we was told we had to wait 5 minutes until breakfast was ready my girls wanted breakfast and we were in a rush for cheer competition so we had to stop to buy breakfast. Overall it was a decent stay,however the beds were very hard very uncomfortable.

My stay was alright. Housekeeping never made my bed, emptied one trash bin and that was it. Never experienced that before. And check out time was too early.

The smell of the hallway is unpleasant, when we walked into our room it smelled very musty and dirty, breakfast was basic, staff was welcoming and parking was fine. At this point, if you are looking for a cheaper place to stay then go for it, you truly get what you pay for in this case.

I requested room service and returned in the evening and it was not completed. I requested to have the sheets changed and was handed sheet to change the bedding. My coworker also noted that the waffle batter was sour and had a stomach irritation shortly after eating the breakfast.

My stay was great. The room was clean, lobby clean and the staff is great. The only issues I had was teenage kids running in the hallway but it's not the hotels fault. I will definitely stay again.

There was hair and stains in our bedsheets, the doorknob fell off, trash was always full in the breakfast area. The amenities were underwhelming and rather small/bare. Size of the room was good, breakfast was decent but the overall status of the hotel was rundown.

Breakfast wasn’t good at all. Only given ham/ pork, there was not any chicken or turkey for the ones who cannot eat pork. That’s not service what I paid for! Didn’t like it. There should be couple water bottles in the room.

The pinball and shuffle board games in lobby was a hit. Couldn't bring myself to the $5 beers when I can go to the store for a better deal. Maybe in a pinch. Overall excellent place and will probably be back next year.

The Comfort Inn is a reliable and nice place to stay at for business travelers. It has good basics that the regular traveller needs.

The room smelled musty, the carpet was dirty, and there was no cleaning whatsoever. During our three-night stay, they only changed the towels; they never came to clean or anything like that. The pool wasn't heated. The bar was closed, and the breakfast was very poor.

MOLDY! We were both sick with runny noses and weeping eyes. Life was made worse by not having air conditioning during the night. Once we left everything cleared up.

Hotel Room FULL of MOLD

The staff was very nice, but there were several things wrong with the room. The facilities were as clean as they could be, but the carpet and bathtub was very old and kind of gross. The shower had been cleaned, but there was mildew or mold on it. The whole room felt damp. There was no fan in the bathroom, which seems like something very basic and necessary for a room- especially one that holds four people. The bathroom door did not close either.

Dirty and spotted a few roaches crawling around. Bed was not made after 1st night. Was told they only do housekeeping every 3 days. Never had such an experience.

The morning breakfast the first 2 days there had no yogurts when it got close to 8:30-9:00 am. Said something to the front desk about it and the next day there were plenty of yogurts. As it should be . Also do you always have to offer eggs & sausage that were quickly heated up in the microwave. Also, the choice of bread, muffins, etc. needs more attention as there should be some improvement in quality and choice. Oh, it would be nicer if you could offer cinnamon sugar granola and crushed beacons, as other hotels do. Hope this helps.

I was in town for the St. Petersburg distance classic race today (2/8). I checked in yesterday in the 7th and the front desk was amazing, hotel was clean, rooms were spacious. All in all a good experience. I was at a different hotel before coming here but left early after being sketched out. This was a much more comfortable hotel to be at :)

Hotels.com has some bad info on the hotel, and the Hotel management has been trying to get this resolved for a long time. I've spoken to management, and they are very understanding, and more. The people that I dealt with are some of the nicest people who went above and beyond to assist us even after we changed hotels. The staff is beyond reproach, and very pleasant.

The Breakfast it’s not good

Carpet in the hallways is dirty and a piece of paper with a number attached by the elevator indicates the floor levels. A musty smell welcomes you to the room. The room furniture is very old and rust can be seen on ceiling and AC vents. We were booked for 7 nights but Expedia called and the hotel agreed to let us check out after 1 night. We are thankful for their understanding. Overall, the staff is nice but there are serious quality issues with that facility that can’t be ignored. Something needs to be done.

I will NEVER stay here again. Idk how the rating is so good, but it is very misleading! The elevators had roaches and stink bugs, the hallways were so strong with fumes of cleaner like they were trying to cover up a smell. My room stank so bad, like must, pee, and mildew. There was a blood stain on my sheet. Hair in my towels, the blankets were stinky and dirty (i watched the cleaning crew in another room put the blanket on the floor, make the bed with new sheets, and put the blanket back on. THEY DO NOT CLEAN THE BLANKETS! The toilet had pee stains on the seat. The floors were extremely dirty, DO NOT walk around barefoot! Stains everywhere! Breakfast was a joke, its until 10am and I got there at exactly 9:30, there was no eggs or sausages left. Only waffles, cereal, and toast. They would not refill it. They ended up taking the muffins away without asking if anyone wanted any. Microwave sucked. Took 10 minutes to heat up 1 plate of food. Refrigerator stunk bad when you opened it. I had to but my own towels and linen to stay there because I refused to ask for more. And also my own cleaning supplies to clean the bathroom and disinfect surfaces. My two beds were different sizes, one was like a full and the other was a queen. The tv only had 28 channels, no kids channels, and there was no “casting” option on my remote as advertised in my room. This is a seedy motel that I would NEVER recommend anyone stay! I should have just gotten my money back and stayed somewhere else.

The customer service from the front desk, Mary, was horrible. We were very surprised at how rude she was. I didn't give it lower then a 3 star because everything else was great, especially the service at the buffet breakfast. The lady that was in charge of the breakfast area was keeping everything clean and was very welcoming.

The room was outdated and smelled like it had rained inside the room. There were no updated outlets for USB or at least charge our phones. As this stay was not planned at all we had no clothes, no toiletries or chargers. The charger situation was unacceptable because I had to go out immediately and spend $100 on 2 wall chargers and 2 cords. I had one but it wasn't going to work alone.

The Air Conditioner did not work in the room. At 2:00 am we woke in a pool of perspiration. At 6:00 AM I told the staff and there was nothing that they could do. I asked the manager later, and she said that we could have moved to another room. This visit should have been discounted, but it was just our tough luck. Won't be booking here again.

We used this hotel for 3 nights with breakfast, but from the moment we arrived, we realized that none of the photos showed anything real: dirt everywhere, the hallways and the room had dirty, smelly carpets that perhaps hadn't been vacuumed in 5 years, the shower water couldn't be adjusted to the right temperature; it always came out boiling hot. We called to report the situation, but they said they didn't know how to fix it but that we should use it that way, and we got no further help. The pillows are disgusting because of the bad smell they have, and the breakfast is terrible; there's no food at all, so we only used the dining room once and had to go outside to get breakfast. Be careful with the surroundings if you're traveling with children. In short, this place doesn't even deserve a 6 rating. Expedia shouldn't have it listed.

I booked a reservation for 2 nights so I can be close to the hospital for my nephew surgery I left 1 hotel to go there because the hotel before was terrible. Unfortunately I didn’t have a great experience with this hotel either. Came in our room to drop off our bags they went to see my nephew in the hospital for the day came back to our room someone else’s bags where in my room they took a shower laid in the bed with my cover I brought from home and went through me and my partners belongings. No one called and told us about the issue until we literally step food in the room and saw for ourselves the staff did not help They tried to give us a free massage card and $30 off our reservation and a huge mess up like that unacceptable and no apology or real solutions was given

I stayed in this comfort inn for a few days on my birthday. It was the most wonderful and peaceful stay. The staff was very nice and friendly. The cleanliness was spectacular in the entire hotel and when you walk into the lobby it is pleasantly deodorized with a soft and amazing scent. It was amazing! And I will return without a doubt. 5 star rating.

The hotel is not located in a very good part of town. It used to be a heck of a lot worse but still not great. Keep your door locked and lock up your car. I would recommend bringing your valuables up to the room with you, and not leaving anything in the car. In a pinch I guess I’d stay here again, as long as my husband was with me… but if I had the option we’d definitely prefer to go to the holiday inn express across the street near the Cracker Barrel restaurant. Good luck!

There was only one person on staff at 5 pm check in, the tv didn’t work even after tech came. The hallways, front desk area, and room carpets stunk. We stayed 2 nights and they never even cleaned our room. We could’ve stayed somewhere nice for the price 8 miles away. The front desk lady told there was a convenience shop 2 blocks away for snacks. I drove there and while I was leaving a man solicited me for sexual indecencies. It was an awful experience. The buildings surrounding the hotel were either boarded up or looked like low income projects. I did complain to a cleaning lady in the late afternoon of first night for at least clean towels but no one came back. I e never asked before, but I think I should get a refund. The room kept me up all night with noice from the street and the fowl odor.

The hotel offers a very fair nightly rate. I felt safe. The negatives are a limited breakfast selection and a big cockroach on the floor of my room one morning. It was, however, in the process of dying, so I would assume they had sprayed recently. I would consider staying there again in order to save money.

Yes I have had some troubles here yesterday and today. The room is too small have trouble getting around in my wheelchair. I would have preferred a couch . Then I wanted to add another day so last 🌃 I did so. I requested to book for today until tomorrow and instead she accidentally wrote it in as I would leave today then check back tomorrow. But it was rearranged. The woman downstairs didn't even know that there is room service but there is.

Everything was in average to above average condition. Room was clean and water pressure in bathroom was good and water was hot. I liked the area because it was next to a nice neighborhood that was very walkable. Staff could be little more friendlier and engaging. The complimentary breakfast left much to be desired.

The room was just fine, but a bit run down around the edges. We couldn’t figure out the tv, and it appeared as if paint was peeling in the bathroom, and possibly mud on the door that didn’t get completely cleaned from a previous stay. Bed was comfy and AC worked great. Overall dim lighting throughout the whole building left it with a slightly dingy feel.

The bed and pillows were really comfortable and there were hydro massage chairs which was a nice bonus. The only thing I think that could be better is their breakfast. They did have all the regular stuff; yogurt, toast, cereal, bagels, waffles, coffee and juice. There was also egg and sausage but I think the hot breakfast needs to be better with more options.

I liked that it was close to Janus live, quiet, friendly staff & the snack area was a plus! Loved the variety & different options available.

Happy with my stay!

Stayed here while work was being done on our house. Good room, ample space and nice amenities. Breakfast had a good variety and staff were friendly.

The property smells pleasant throughout the entire building but needs a significant upgrade. The toilet and bathtub were in poor condition. I felt unclean using them both.

Easy to find

We thought we would save a little by staying at a place that might be a little older.. it was wayyy older, beds were tiny, bathroom very dated, door to hallway didn’t fit properly so you could see the light from the hallway on all sides of the door by the frame.. breakfast was waffles, white bread, make your own oatmeal, 3 cereals, orange juice or coffee. No water. No yogurt. No milk cartons. Not many options. I am 5’4 and could tough the ceilings in the hallway. It was just extremely outdated. I didn’t expect it.

Very clean, quiet, and respectful staff here. Great breakfast with coffee, juices, and variety of other things.
