Quality Inn St. Paul-Minneapolis-Midway

No cleaning staff on the weekends. Looks and feels like a trap spot. Only good thing is the location and price. If you are trying to stay on budget then book.

The staff were friendly It was dirty. There were mystery stains on the bed, blankets, floors, tub, and other surfaces. Drugs were present, and the smell of marijuana filled the area day and night. The windows were so dirty it was difficult to see outside. The air vents were covered in thick black buildup. The floors had sticky residue and debris throughout the room. The bedding had visible brown stains. The carpet and blankets had multiple unidentified spots and discoloration. The bathtub had rust colored staining and visible dirt buildup. Dust, grime, and buildup covered the metal clothing rack and other surfaces. The vents appeared heavily clogged with dirt and black residue. The windows were covered in streaks and film to the point visibility outside was impaired. The entry door and surrounding hardware appeared damaged and poorly maintained. Overall, the room appeared unsanitary, poorly cleaned, and not properly maintained.

The place needs a upgrade

Lots of smoke odor.

The hot tub wasn't working. The breakfast didn't start until 8, way too late, chains on door and frame was busted, tv kept changing input every time you turned it on and very outdated.

Decent

Dirty carpet, toilet in room broken, people clearly smoking in the hotel, hotel run down

Rooms were dirty, staff was unhelpful, parking lot was sketchy

The location is the only benefit... I used ATM to get cash for the required deposit. Machine malfunctioned after completing the withdrawal, without dispensing money. I had to jump through hoops to obtain another $100. Still waiting refund now. Staff probably made it worse by unplugging the machine. Then had no empathy, instead of letting me get the cash for the deposit in the a.m. Demanding I pay it before he gave me keys... I asked for new sheets, the housekeeping made the bed over with the same sheets. Despite my request, shower had past patron's hair in it... And the key card lock doesn't work from the door to enter directly. Parking lot is a skating ring, slipped and banged my knee on the icy concrete... Unfortunately, the State High School Hockey Tournament is taking place and options are almost non existent. Stuck in this sh*t hole a couple more days. The staff initially encountered was useless. He made matters worse with the malfunctioned ATM, then was underhanded and rude. Not customer service oriented at all... This is the "hospitality" industry, right?

The hallway smelled like smoke the WiFi wasn’t working and the pool area is cold the spa doesn’t work and the sauna wasn’t working ! We couldn’t enjoy our self the pool is located by the back door which when it’s cold the pool area is cold . The fact that the worker knocked on my door every day to ask if I was checking out ! The hairdryer doesn’t work and I missed breakfast because I wasn’t told when it was served when I checked in

The hot tub was out of order , hopefully next time i go back , it'll be working. Other then the stay was good .

Met my low expectations

No hotel was dirty and poorly lit. It felt unsafe. The hot tub that i was told was working was taped off. You could smell smoke in the hallways. I could hear someone playing music with loud base and the room its self was dirty none of the lights were plugged in and furniture waa moved away from the wall where there was trash.

Got locked out when we used door to outside, tv kept not wanting to turn on.
