Went to DC for vacation. Got a "suite" for the week. The "suite" was small, didn't have extra blanket for fold-out couch. The pool was outside, cold and dirty. The staff was indifferent. Breakfast was as crappy and basic as it comes. No room service. Ran out of clean towels, soap, TP, tissues, etc. The pictures are deceiving. I wound not stay there again.

Staff was friendly but housekeeping needs to be more careful, I found our door was left wide open when they entered to replenished our towels while we were out and we returned to our door open. Front desk can have better communication we had to wait a while to get a room after checking and find out we were on the top floors and the elevator was out of service for the first couple of days we were there until the last day it was worked on after being told it would work by the end of our first night and my mom that was traveling with me had a hard time getting up to our room during that time. Also, after the incident of the door being left opened they just said “oh sorry”.

Parking was a problem, and the breakfast options were very limited. I didn’t notice any difference compared to a typical 2-star hotel. Overall, it’s not worth paying $140 per night.

Stayed here for 3 nights in a 2 bedroom suite. Hotel smelled very clean walking through the doors. Our room was cleaned and beds were comfy. Close to the metro and shopping areas. Wish there were mirrors in the bedrooms to help getting ready easier. We didn’t get to try the breakfast but overall enjoyed our stay and will be coming back to stay here in the future.

Clean rooms , breakfast was really good, near to Metro station, and nice welcoming staff, kitchen in my room was very clean , whatever we expect was there, we will visit again next time.

I have stayed here many times and this stay was the worst. Got there a hour and half after check-in and the room was not ready. communication not clear from front desk, side doors not working, no parking spaces, noisy everywhere, key cards barely work have to swipe 4 times to get in the room, pool closed, only fresh cookies on 1 day. it was just not a pleasant stay at all. this place is way to expensive so this kind of experience. I will not stay here again and will explore other hotels in the area.

This is a very old property- the room furniture was pretty worn out. The heating system wasn’t working, so they brought in a portable room heater. I’m very glad they did this- but it’s just an example of how worn out things are. The breakfast area was very full, too many people to get to the coffee & food. Tables weren’t cleaned between guests. But the price was fairly low, and the location was convenient for us, so we chose to stay here

The only issue is the fact that there is a large parking garage being built right in front of the northwest side of the hotel...this makes it hard to find parking spaces.

Courteous staff all around pleasant and friendly from the moment we arrived. Maintenance staff was very efficient. The room was fresh and clean. Cookies in the lobby were fresh and a sweet surprise.

Cody at the front desk was the first problem. He was rude, dismissive, and spoke to me with clear disrespect. His attitude made me feel unwelcome from the start, and the way I was treated felt unfair and discriminatory. On top of that, the hotel itself was disappointing — the rooms were very small and the beds were uncomfortable. Overall, not a pleasant stay and not the level of service or comfort I expected. The hotel never responded to my request to reschedule my stay in the wake of a major snowstorm. I coyly don't cancel and lost my money.

The lady at the front desk was understanding Our room smelled like a homeless person urinated all over the room when asked for another room the second one smelled as if they were trying to cover the smell with air freshener

The peep hole to room 203 did not have the outside cover. I had not noticed until my third night stay when I was trying to get my card key that anyone could look straight through. I walked down the hallway and no other door was like that. The little dome glass was on every door except mine. Which means that anyone could have been looking into my door. I stuffed the peep hole with paper since it was late at night. I had two nights left so left it as is and reported it when I checked out.

Nice to have a kitchen. Liked that it was pet friendly, as we were traveling with our dog. Bed was a bit uncomfortable.

The location was great, other than the massive amounts of construction right outside. The room smelled horribly of mold/mildew. The carpets were wet, there was obvious water damage on the flooring in multiple spaces, and the people above my room were so incredibly loud (stomping around well past midnight). I got a horrible sinus cold from sleeping there overnight (congestion, runny nose, cough, sneezing, etc) - that immediately began giving relief once I left the property. My daughter had the same symptoms.

The property has difficult parking due to fencing up as a result of nearby construction. At night it is difficult to see the remaining spots to park. Back entrance to hotel goes through construction site. Not the hotels fault but its a concern for guests new to area.

Fast, reliable internet and workspace adjacent to the living room and kitchen was very useful during our recent trip. The morning breakfast and daily beverage service was very good and routinely appreciated by guests during our two week visit. The property charges $13/day for surface parking which seems unreasonable for guests who are the primary occupants for parking spaces onsite. This fee seems excessive when compared to other similar properties less than half mile away who do not charge guests for surface parking. Overall a solid experience and would book again.

Room assigned was missing, a double paned window set (each window equipped with two, double paned sets), which let cold air seep in. Toilet was clogged when we walked in. The front desk made me go get a plunger to clear it myself, although we had just checked in. The hotel smelled musky, and like a wet dog throughout ( dogs are allowed). The TV faced the wrong way, angled away from couch. I would never stay here again.

The area was quiet and I felt safe. They indicated that the pool was open from May to September, but when I was there on May 4, the pool was not open.

The kitchen faucet was loose, their were ants in the shower, all the window screens was torn or missing... which let in a lot f huge flies. I don't use the air conditioning much due to my condition. I use the windows for the fresh air.

The furniture and condition of room were very run down. The couch had stains all over it. The mattress felt like I was sleeping on a pull out couch, very bumpy and squeaky with what felt like a hard board under the middle of the mattress. There was a bad smell in the hallway also. I almost never give poor reviews but I was expecting the stay to be better.

Main light in room above desk was out which made the room very dark. Found a black curly hair on desk near phone. Asked for extra pillows and was told they may not have any because the hotel was fully booked. Called a second time and finally got them. Charging $13 for parking when you are already paying a premium room price is unnecessary when you are not in a city location.

This property was disgusting, halls smelled, rooms smelled, rooms were dirty and dusty, no utensils in the room, floors were filthy - just very very run down, we were missing a TV, our door did not fit the door jam.

After checking in and coming to my room, which was on the first floor, I found my room's window propped wide open with a small lotion bottle, as well as someone's canvas bag outside of the window. To make things even worse, the room's bathroom smelled horrendous, like someone had recently used it. All of this made me and my girlfriend feel unsafe in this room, so I spoke with the front desk and they were able to give us a different room, which was thankfully not on the first floor.

I don't know 🤔 I asked for a quiet room and my room was very quiet. I didn't hear any neighbors, cars or roads. Nice breakfast from 7 to 10am. I don't know 🤔 I asked for a quiet room and my room was very quiet. I didn't hear any neighbors, cars or roads. Nice breakfast from 7 to 10am. TownePlace suites is usually a nice hotel to stay at unfortunately for me this time. This was the worst one I’ve ever stayed in. There was pubic hair in the shower Spiderwebs right above bed, food on the wall in the kitchen and it smelled like a dog very disappointed

Comfortable for long stay

We come to the area at least once a month for several days to see our new grandchild. Have been looking for just the right place, and this one is perfect. Accommodates our small dog, scrupulously clean, we like having the kitchenette, the morning cooked breakfast is substantial, and the staff are absolutely lovely. Couldn’t believe how quiet it was, especially given the convenient location right off the interstate. Claudette, especially, was very kind in helping me deal with an internet issue late at night. We’ve found the right place and will be back.

$150.00 hold on Credit Card for incidentals and wanted to charge $13 for parking.

Was finally able to close on my home. TownePlace Suite was truly a home away from home. Thank you! The staff were so accommodating and friendly.

Everything was white glove CLEANNNNN!!! Loved my stay here. Breakfast was yummy, staff was very friendly. One recommendation would be to fix the wheel on luggage cart. Not enough luggage carts for hotel. Bed was comfortable water pressure amazing.

Everything was nice, the room was clean, the hotel was clean. The staff was nice. The problem we had is that the air condition turned off during the night for a while. Then the morning around five it turned off and did not turned back on until around eight making it very uncomfortable. I called the front desk. They said they could send someone to look at it if it didn’t turn back on, but we had to get up and get ready for work so it wasn’t additional inconvenience to have someone in the room at that time. When I checked out and I told the front desk about it, I did not extend any type of offer for the inconvenience whatsoever.

Negative: (1) No fan in the bathroom (2) Only one mirror. A mirror outside the bathroom would be nice.

Nice Neighborhood, few grocery stores that is within 7 minutes walking distance, daily hot breakfast, friendly staff and ample parking

Just wasn’t satisfied with the maintenance of the bathroom.

Stayed for 9 days and it was a fare rate for a two bedroom suite, parking and early check-in. The suite was good and clean, exactly what my family needed. The location was good for us with nearby markets and restaurants.

The property was in great shape all around

a lot of construction people are LIVING here, a lot of things are broken, only a mirror in the bathroom not a full length dressing mirror the pool is small and only 3ft depth. They do have breakfast, coffee, waffle makers, and elevators. The location is convenient to get to work and there is an efficiency kitchen with a full size refrigerator a dishwashing machine and dishes to use which was helpful.

Room was extremely comfortable. We had the 2 bedroom and it had plenty of space for our family of 4. Breakfast was good. Mall is very close and easy access to the interstate. Staff were wonderful

The room was clean but has blemishes/holes on the walls and in the shower. Cover of mini split falling off, screen torn, cupboard door under sink not level.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was pretty nice. Be aware that they do not have wired ethernet available if you are planning on working from your hotel room.

Good enough

There a week & room was cleaned once. Had to ask for toilet paper, towels & to have trash removed. I borrowed a roll of tape from the front desk…and was asked for my room number!

We stayed 2 and 1/2 for a DC trip and the location was perfect! Many things near by and qw had a comfortable stay.

We had a 2 bedroom suite. The space was great. Ample room for 2 adults and 3 teens plus pets. Very happy with the size of the space. The bathroom shower area could use some updating, which was the only thing I wish was better. Overall, we would stay here again.

Only one of the parking lots was well lit. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Our room was one queen with a sofa bed. The placement of the tv was odd because the person who slept on that side of the bed had to make sure they didn’t hit the corner of the cabinet when entering or leaving the bed.
