Room was clean, but toilet tank valve didn’t sit right and water ran continuously. Hotel local has access to many nearby food options, groceries, wine and beer, but is tucked up at the end of the street against i95 so a bit noisy and not a pedestrian friendly area. Bring your car.

Our room was clean, comfortable bed and pillows with a helpful nightlight in the bathroom. The room itself was dated just a closet for clothes so we managed just living out of the suitcase. Nice shower very clean bathroom however, there were no hooks to hang your towels. Overall well run hotel.

The staff was prompt and courteous, the room and facilities were clean and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. The WiFi. It hardly ever worked on my iPad. But the Mac WiFi was good. Make sure to instruct your guests that they need to go to the IHG website to activate the WiFi. And fix your iPad WiFi problem.

The staff was prompt and courteous, the room and facilities were clean and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. The WiFi. It hardly ever worked on my iPad. The rooms were excellent—super clean, modern, and clearly recently remodeled. Everything felt fresh and well maintained, which made for a very comfortable stay. The location is another big plus. It’s right next to a mall and surrounded by plenty of coffee shops, grocery stores, and easy highway access, making everything very convenient whether you’re traveling for business or with family. Overall, a great experience all around—comfortable rooms, outstanding service, and an unbeatable location. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay, staff were wonderful so friendly and accommodating! Breakfast buffet was the best we've ever had at a hotel. Parking lot was full, very busy hotel but still didn’t have to park to far away from hotel. Very safe location, could walk to just about any thing you wanted to eat, or they would shuttle you if needed. If we head that way for another vacation we will stay here again.

Was concerned about the broken glass in the parking lot and concerned about vehicle damage but thankfully nothing happened to my car. Heating unit made a lot of noise throughout the night and had to turn it off to avoid a sleepless night

A wide range of restaurants in the area. Free shuttle to the local mall and metro station connecting with downtown DC and the airport.

We stayed for three nights on a family vacation and had a great experience. The breakfast was excellent, and the kitchen staff were incredibly friendly. There were plenty of options for kids, which made mornings easy and enjoyable. The automated pancake machine was my favorite part. Our room and the shower were clean and comfortable throughout our stay

Rafi was very nice. The room was spotless. Checkin was super easy and quick. Check out was super easy too. And it was very quiet. Also the breakfast was top notch!! All in all great spot for a quick pit stop on our travels.

The hotel room was very clean and quiet. I also liked the fact that there are many stores around the area for shopping and eating etc...we had a pleasant stay overall! I recommend this place if going to visit DC or staying in the Virginia area.

Check in and checkout were super easy and staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a little variety between the 4 days we ate. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Even though we were near the elevator it was pretty quiet. Only small complaints was that our toilet was running off and on and when our room was cleaned only one bed was made. Would stay again.

Upon check in was advised that booking through hotels.com does not guarantee the room we wanted, we needed two beds, they said they tried to reach me to advise they only had King room, because they had to accommodate the national guard, but received an automated answer. I never got any calls. After much debate, the GM was able to locate a room with a king bed for my friend and we received a discount on my initial room. Glad they made it right but I should not have had to spend an hour or more getting them to figure this out. I don't anticipate booking through hotels.com if my room choice is not guaranteed at booking.

Beautiful pool!

This was the 2nd best holiday inn exspress I’ve been to. It was busy but things keep flowing. I didn’t see the pool but my daughter did and they have a lifeguard and it’s outside. We need more pillows and cover and they had a real crib for our 1 year old. Parking was fine and everyone was so nice there. Lots of stuff around and a short drive if you didn’t want to walk to other place. I would book again

Very comfortable. Convenient location. Great breakfast. I was annoyed that the pool didn’t open at 9 am on Sunday as posted, but ratger at 1100, too close to checkout to swim. The fridge and exhaust fan in our room didn't work.

Safe was amazing, location was superb but hotel is showing its age. Our room door got stuck the bathroom door was hanging off one of the hinges and skip the breakfast.

Only thing I didn’t like was the water pressure in the shower

The stay was overall ok. The hotel was nothing special. Our room was very humid. There was no fan in the bathroom so after anyone showered the room just got more humid. The sink in the bathroom was very small and had no counter space. Breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast. There really wasn't any thing special about this hotel. It was easy to get to and there were a lot of things close by, stores, the mall etc.

I would have rated it higher but one of the elevators was not working and being on the fifth floor made it tough. The gym was not open and the pool was packed. Breakfast was great. Bed was comfy.

Manager was rude , They turned off water everyday from 11-2 power outages and lots of construction making the stay very inconvenient.

Excellent property. Clean and comfortable with super friendly staff. Only drawback, very loud air conditioning unit, but everything else is perfect. Would definitely recommend.

I have stayed in several hotels around Springfield while attending events in DC. This one is probably my favorite. The rooms are very new and the area is very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was under renovation so the lobby was torn up & the workout room was closed. They are moving along with the updates & the facilities should be ready soon.

The hotel should have informed the customer that there were renovations being done.

This hotel was great to travel to and from the DC area. It is a family hotel so lots of kids running around in the halls. The breakfast options are great. Some of the elevators were under construction. The bedroom was spacious and clean. Would come again.

The staff were friendly, kind, and very quick to respond when something was needed. We asked for a crib when we checked in, expecting to get it some time before bedtime and about 10 minutes later it was delivered! Checking in was easy and the staff were friendly. Several areas/amenities were under construction so it felt busy and limited access to amenities other than our room. Everything was clean. The area was noisy outside, but plenty of restaurants near by.

It’s safe, convince & easy parking.

Really decent hotel within 20 mins drive to DC. The property was well maintained, the staff members were very helpful and friendly and it is conveniently located with lots of restaurants, nearby! We will definitely stay here when we visit DC the next time, for sure!

While the staff was efficient and friendly, our room had issues. The toilet overflowed. Once all was mopped up and said to be fixed, the toilet ran constantly until I finally fixed it myself. It’s also a noisy place, thanks to highway noise that perhaps can’t be addressed, but also because of noisy guests and tour groups. To top it all off, the TV repeatedly froze, and the breakfast area was cramped because of a renovation project. We won’t stay there again.

The service was very helpful. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was always fresh and kept stocked. It was also a great variety. My only concern was the hot water. Considering our stay was during winter hot water was a must. Our first night the water was tap temperature. After calling reception it appeared to be an issue coming from a water outage earlier in the day. It did seem to improve the second night but after that was lukewarm at best.

I could not sleep. The heater unit making so much noise every couple minutes and sounds like there's dripping above ( celling). The shower has no hot water ( partly warm).

This hotel has definitely upgraded over the years. The owners seem to invest back into the upkeep and though renovations are going on now, its still a comfortable and very clean, and well maintained. Its great for family or big groups.
