Excellent stay and friendly staff. The breakfast was really more than what I expected as well. Eggs, sausage, juice's, toast, muffins, yogurt, coffee, milk and cereal.

The air conditioning was perfect but the faucet at the bathroom sink wouldn't run hot or cold water at full strength. Other than these items our one night stay was good.

Clean room, slow WiFi, breakfast was okay. They should have 2 waffle makers.

Nice and clean, breakfast was nice. Room was clean. Check in took a little long. The guy didn't acknowledge my presence or greet me but he was standing right at the counter. Turns out he was trying to fix something. I still feel like he should have at least greeted me and let me know he would be right with me.

The stay and the staff was excellent. The only inconvenience is the elevator. We were on the third floor and my parents are elderly and couldn’t use the stairs. The elevator was out of service and the service wasn’t going to be done until the next day.

Property located in a great location with easy access to metro station either by shuttle or metro bus. The mall walking distance also made this location attractive. The property advertised that it had a safe in my room available for use . The safe was there but not available for use even though I alerted the front desk . The property discontinued the service

The hotel is very outdated. There was a party in the lobby that lasted till 2am that we could hear on the 5th floor. Room was clean but the gap around the door was disturbingly large. Elevators were unusable at times and inconvenient. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Dislikes: Unfriendly and unprofessional front desk staff (with the exception of Idalia). Room key stopped working many times and front desk staff kept acting like it was something I was doing (like holding it near my cell phone) when really the machine only programs the key for one day. Hotel had church services, a quinceañera, and other functions late into the night. Lots of noise, limited parking. Laundry room had dryers that just eat up your money and never dry your clothes.

Hotel is conveniently situated close to Springfield Town Center shopping mall and Innova. They have a good option of items for breakfast. Most impressive was the welcome station with coffee/tea/water and home baked scocolate chip cookies

Since I had booked thru 3rd party, the two thing I asked about(1. Changing the phone number on the acct to get out points and 2. getting a receipt) were met with comments of " you'll need to get that from your third party booking"

Bedsheet had food stain or worse on it. Towels had several hairs still embedded that fell out when pulled from the rack. The chocolate milk in the breakfast area was starting to go bad. Very loud and noisy at night.

an older motel but clean and pleasant. Suffered a fall(not at Hotel) and staff was very sympathetic and helpful. Lock was very stiff. Particularly getting out of room.Tvwas especially a problem after the fall I suffered. Took 2 hands and several tries to get door opened from inside room.

Someone was smoking marijuana above our room all night and all day. We told the manager about it that morning and he said that he would talk to the lady above us. But it didn’t stop. It’s supposed to be a smoke free hotel. My spouse is still serving in the military and she cannot be around any drugs. So we told the front desk that evening 12 Dec 25 that there was still marijuana smoke coming into our room and that we were checking out early and I demanded a full refund. I was told that the manager wasn’t there and would be time so we could get a refund. We have called 4 times since then with the same excuses and still no full refund.

I always enjoy my stay here. The hotel is extremely clean. All the staff are friendly and attentive. It’s in a great location for food and shopping and the love is very fair especially for the cleanliness of the hotels.

For the price, this is an adequate hotel. The King size room overlooking the mall parking lot was far enough away from the interstate to not be heard. The heater was so quiet, I had to check it to see if it was running. The bed is firm. Lots of typical sized hotel pillows. Bathroom is small but always had hot water. Fridge/freezer worked well. The gym area was messy the first two days we were there but got cleaned up the last day. The breakfast is adequate with apples, juice, bagels, yogurt, waffles and eggs & meat option daily. This is an easy location for on/off of highways, next to Target, a mall and several other plazas. Clean lobby and shuttle service.

We had a very pleasant staay. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. There was an election for the President of Honduras happening and all the people were so nice and friendly

It was a very nice stay at the motel. Not only did they have free parking which everyone else in the whole area of charges for parking but it was very convenient to shopping centers and dining experiences. The motel offered a free shuttle to the beeline which was also very nice so we did not have to drive there and pay for parking . The staff at Comfort Inn was very helpful and very pleasant to work with . The free breakfast was very good and they had lots of choices including healthy ones. The motel was very clean and it was under renovation and even the areas that was under renovation was still kept clean. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying there every time we want to visit Washington DC.

The first room we were given had a musty/mildew odor. The second room reeked of ammonia from cleaning products. Finally the third room was acceptable. The elevator only works sometimes. We won’t be returning.

Our stay was short, just one night, the check in was smooth, quick and easy, the rooms were clean and comfortable appreciated the brew in your room coffee feature, we did not eat breakfast there because we met family out. I would recommend the Comfort in to my friends and family.

Comfort Inn is my go-to place whenever I visit family in Springfield, VA. Clean and quiet room, friendly front desk staff, delicious cookies and lemon water in the lobby, and good complimentary breakfast options. Not fancy but decent price. Close to shopping mall.

I think they were doing maintenence on the 5th floor as it was very hot when you came off the elevator and the carpet was not flush. So the ac in our room had to run alot. The complimentary breakfast was very nice and the front staff always said hello. Over all a very nice visit.

The hotel did not have the room ready that was booked when making the reservation. I had to change rooms the next day to get what was orignially reserved. There was no airconditioning in the hallways, and the unit in the room had to run almost constantly to manage summer heat. Clientelle was at times loud and disruptive in the public areas. This was a moderatly expensive stay ($140+/night incl. tax). Though this stay did not meet expectations, the hotel management was reasonably responsive.

However: cleaning staff are lovely and anyone at the desk has also been helpful. Breakfast has a decent amount of items. Honestly you can't go wrong with the price point. Expedia wants me to tell them 'what's wrong' with the location because I've said it's 'average', however there's nothing wrong with it. It's just not a destination or anything; it's right off the highway, it's not a far walk to the mall, but it's neither bad nor amazing.

It was very nice but the hotel need an upgrade. the breakfast was plentiful and the staff were very nice. Our room was difficult to get into as the lock was fidgety but the staff were very quick to assist.

The Comfort Inn in Springfield, VA was an excellent place to stay. It was clean, quiet, the entire staff was friendly. They offer a convenient buffet style breakfast every morning to get the day off to a good start. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and the sheets and bedding were very clean. The location was convenient, right by a mall with plenty of dinner options.

Lobby was air conditioned, but room hallways, elevators, and room were not. Upon entering, our room was 85 degrees. Took 15 hours to lower the temp to something approximating room temperature. Very humid and uncomfortable. This is obviously an ageing building.

Hotels.com advertised a rate that was less than what I paid upon check in. I'm very disappointed. Also, the hotel was not secure. Anyone from the street could come in and out of the hotel any time of the day as the side doors were never locked after a certain time.

The hotel was dated and in poor condition. Will not stay here again. The breakfast tables were not bussed. The mini fridge was not functioning. Used Lysol to disinfect the bed and bathroom. I stay here often and always enjoy my stay. I recently had a minor problem, I called the front desk and it was handled quickly and with kindness.

most importantly, the mattress was terrific. The location was just what I needed it to be, but it doesn’t offer much. It’s a concrete expansive, freeways, and shopping malls. The staff tried very much to be helpful, but I did get different stories from different people. I liked that there were cookies out in the afternoon and coffee all day. The breakfast was just fine.

I am in the Hospitality Industry, and was pleasantly surprised that my stay was as pleasing and comfortable as it was.

The hotel booked our 3 night, prepaid room through Expedia, to someone else. The owner was rude & wrote us off as unimportant because we booked thru a 3rd party. We were sent to a nearby hotel that kept telling us they didn't have a room. After being pushy, we got a room but not the 2 queen room we'd specially booked & prepaid for in advance. The rooms were ok but couldve been cleaner. Breakfast was substandard.

The bathroom in the room was hideous. Red mold and scum all over the vinyl shower. Mold and crust all over the faucet. Huge crack in the wall of the shower. Faucet pulled away from the wall. If there had been another option I’d have checked out a gone to the hotel next door. Bottom line, they should pay US $114 a night to stay here. Awful.

Staff was very help making suggestions for dinner and also directions.

I would highly recommend this property!!! Every thing is great!!!

Management followed up the next day. My only complaint was with breakfast. Not enough fresh fruit offerings.

We booked a king bedroom and received a handicapped room that was quite dated. I stepped on a screw near the desk, no idea where it came from. The bed was fine. The bathroom was dimly lit and the switch was outside of the room behind the door when it was open. Since the toilet was handicapped it had a modified seat that was old and rusted underneath. This hotel is a fine value and it’s the third time I’ve lodged there but adjust expectations unless Choice Hotels invests in modernizing the property.

Room I stayed in was in need of some TLC. Toilet seat was old, chipped paint and needed to be replaced, entry door was hard to open, and bathroom door had seen better days. Management needs to pay attention to detail to make this hotel worth the cost. The attendant doing the breakfast was very attentive, hard working and pleasant. Front desk staff was professional especially the young lady who checked me on day of arrival. She acted quickly to get maintenance to help with the entry door. Maintenance guy was very professional, courteous and helpful.

This is a very dated property. Room with very poor lighting, sink with no stopper, lock safe with dead battery, and staff that are totally disengaged playing with their phones. Avoid this choice.

Construction going on, parking spaces blocked off with cones around the hotel. Very crowded area - shopping centers and highways surround it. Kind of dingy looking.

The shower head had pink bacteria on it from where it had not been cleaned very well. This is the second time that I have stayed at this hotel where this has occurred.

Close to I95 and the Auto train in Lorton. Breakfast should be open past 9"30 am- appreciated 12 pm late check out.

This hotel's stated cancellation policies are false. They charged me all three nights as a no show, instead of only the first night, when I couldn't make the trip due to a family emergency.

Also there are something I noticed: 1 only one elevator is working. the other one is broken. 2 can't find power outlets around night stands, only one I can use is the one pluged in by coffee machine. 3 in room safe has no battery. 4 phone seems not working.

I stayed for 2 nights the hotel is not bad ,located close to a shopping center and highways. For what I saw they keep it clean housekeeping always around cleaning. I'm not sure about breakfast because I never made it. Now my room it was clean and comfortable but it does need updates. Front door is loud anyone could tell when you open it. Bathroom door was hard to close or open. Curtains need to be updated as well. The carpet was the worse one there was holes in it and even the staples were popping up I notice because my foot got pinch by one. Beside that everything else was ok.

Bathroom was worn looking and the door didn't lock. Hotel ran out of bath towels when I requested more.

Property located across Springfield mall that has many lunch and dinner options. Also, metro transportation, free parking and breakfast is a plus. We did had some confusion with a room key at check-in and ended up in the different room that we ordered but it was just a human error and we were to tired to go downstairs again and make some changes. Our friends complained that carpet in their room smelled but it was ok in our. Overall it is an older hotel but it is well maintained and clean. Stuff is very friendly and accommodative.

It is an older property and is starting to show its age. It is maintained and clean. My AC was not clearing the humidity. It just got cold and damp. The free breakfast was nice and filling. It is adjacent to the Springfield Mall. It fit the bill for an affordable hotel in NOVA>
