Proper door security. Comfy mattress, linings, pillows. Plenty of hangers with good space for clothing. Should provide complimentary bottles of water and kettle. Advertised “breakfast included” was some bagels, fruit, and cold cereal. It should say “limited continental breakfast.” If we knew we would have planned to head out earlier to get a better breakfast elsewhere. It was extremely clean though.

Top notch for the clean and nice rooms and decor. Whoever designed them must have been someone who actually looked at the space and thought of what people actually need in a hotel room. There were plenty of hooks in the room and the bathroom. The two very easy to use phone chargers. All the shelves and storage areas were great. Love to stay love the convenience of where it’s located love the new remodel. The only problem I had was people up above me were stomping around and very loud from 3 o’clock in the morning till 5 o’clock in the morning I called the front desk and they took care of it. I was so grateful.

Nice sized room; comfortably fitting two adults. Seemed pretty clean. Breakfast was acceptable. Staff were exceptional!! There was minimal noise. Very close to the areas we were there to visit. The breakfast options were limited and the coffee wasn't always hot.

television access was restricted. you could not watch apps such as netflix, disney+, etc unless you had all your personal passwords from your home subscriptions. We were not told this and it was not on the website. In the one case we were able to get our login information the tv would not accept it and wanted us to subscribe in order to watch it.

I think you should update your laundry machine machines to accept credit cards and offer pods for sale to do laundry you updated all the rooms which is great cause I stayed there when it was a super late 15 years ago and it was a motel. This is a nice upper end motel and I think you could’ve done something with the laundry room and had supplies for the laundry room even for sale.

Hotel was decent for the price point. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was ok. Staff friendly.

Nayeli, in the front, was great. She was friendly and got us in fast. The room looked new, clean, and in great condition. The breakfast was just cold breakfast but we enjoyed it. Will definitely stay here again if we ever in the area again.

The room was clean and simple, with thoughtful touches like charging stations for our devices and convenient dispensers for soap and hair care products. We didn’t try the breakfast, but this hotel has become our first choice when visiting family.

Our room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. (Room 223) Very nice, well stocked continental breakfast. The woman who checked us in was very nice and did well to inform us on where to go to eat. (Hop Valley Brewing Co) Would definitely stay here again.

No cups for drinking water so I had to buy water in a bottle for brushing teeth. Room felt stuffy. The comforter made me too hot so I had to remove its covering sheet to use as a covering since otherwise no sheets . I miss the arm chair for sitting - the armless chair was uncomfortable to sit in for long. It was adequate.

Paperthin walls, the girl next door sounded like she was going into labor, tiny shower, folgers coffee ick, the yogurt had a thick layer of watery god knows what on top, vanilla or caramel cream or 2% milk....nope not impressed Hilton.

Clean room , everything was ok except for your continental breakfast, it wasn’t anything to write home about. Since this is affiliated with Hilton, the breakfast menu needs much improvement, even one star hotels now serve excellent breakfast.

Had a late arrival, after 11pm. Check in was open all night. Very recently switched to Hilton company. Check in was the fastest and easiest I've had. Property (Spark, by Hilton) was fresh, in nice shape and very clean. Staff was freindly and helpful. Would stay again. Great location, easy interstate access and a large varity of restaurants and convenient coffee shops to choose from, within walking distance.

They were in the midst of upgrading the property, however the rooms and property as a whole was amazing. The rooms were spacious, parking was accessible, beds were cozy, and staff members were nice. I'll definitely return and suggest this hotel to others.

Above our exception .The renovation work is still in lobby but the room is great . Standard level is the same as Hilton Garden. We love it .

Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast room was also clean and bright. The desk people were helpful and nice. At this price point it is nice. I would have given them a 5, but there was work on the flooring being done and the plastic that was taped down was pulling up and bunched and a real trip hazard in the hall and elevator.

I didn't like the house keeping staff coming to my door at 8am. Check out is 11am, and i needed the xtra sleep. Plus they were speaking very loudly throughout the halls.

Gateway Inn and Suites was being remodeled, however, this did not interrupt our stay. Room was new long with the furnishings. Great location with McDonald's, Chick-Fil-A, Starbucks, and Dutch Brothers in walking distance. There was also a great Mexican food restaurant across the street. Parking was easy with EV chargers next door. Great place to stay when visiting University of Oregon. Go Ducks!! We will definitely be back.

It wasn’t a 10/10 like I read. The hotel is in a complete renovation. Floor 1 isn’t available. I was on 2. Seemed like a renovated room. Pretty nice. Could use better bedding I checked in late and been driving all day. The hotel seemed like I signed up for a practical joke. Note on wall said construction starting at 8am and the office was all walled off by a big plastic tarp.

We arrived very late and were met by a smiling, helpful woman on duty, telling us both about their breakfast and a discounted breakfast at a nearby Denny's. Our room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, even as the motel was completely full.

The hot water was not working. Whether it was shut off from the construction on the first floor or something was broken, but it’s extremely tough to start you day with an icy shower. I let the shower and the sink run for ten minutes waiting for it to get better, but that didn’t happen.

The staff is always super friendly and inviting when we come. It’s one of the hidden gems in Legrand. If you wanna stay someplace, that is clean and meet all your basic needs that’s your place.

No hair dryer in the bathroom and the wifi was not able to connect in the room where we stayed at.

This is a mid-range style hotel, and as such, I was very impressed with obvious recent remodeling. It was very very clean, surprisingly very quiet even though it's on a very busy street. The staff was charming and efficient. The price was great. All around a great place to say.

While the office is cramped, and they are undergoing renovations, my room was surprisingly very nice! Comfortable chair, wireless charging stations (with plug in options as well), and Dove bathroom products. Better than some high-end spendy hotels in my opinion! Breakfast is simple and nothing hot, but still had lots of options. Would recommend staying here.

Easy to get to and place renovated

I paid for the trip in advance on this site and when I got to the hotel, the clerk had deleted the card number from the system so she was unable to give me a room. It's been about an hour calling someone and going back and forth on the phone until they tried to figure it out. Keep in mind this was about 11:00 or 12:00:00 at night. When I got to the room, the counters were dirty and the TV did not work. The bathroom was dirty as well. They had obviously not fully cleaned the room. I didn't complain because I just wanted to go to sleep and get up and leave. At least the bed was made. Absolutely ridiculous that I paid so much for that room. Should have been comped.

The hotel was just what we needed. Spacious clean room. Quiet yet surrounded by many fast food options and restaurants all within a short walk.

The provided breakfast was very basic as they were still working on remodelling the main floor. The room was clean and refreshed, relatively quiet and a good value.

As of the date of review, renovations were underway. No construction sounds, though. It was a restful visit, and the staff were kind and friendly.

It was a good experience. It was completely remodeled and everything was brand new was nice and clean. The only negative was a drain in the sink was very slow, which was annoying and not enough blankets on the bed just one thin blanket and a top sheet but otherwise it was good!

My son enjoyed all of the USB chargers. Very clean, very quiet and a great value.

Our room (207) at Gateway Inn was newly renovated and very clean. There wasn't any outside noise to speak of, although it is close to the freeway. I, personally, had the best night sleep in any hotel to date, the one night we spent there. We've been to quite a few over the years. I usually have trouble getting to sleep and staying asleep at hotels, but not this time. A couple of things that were bothersome: the bed spread was very slippery and kept wanting to head to the floor. I managed to thwart it's tendencies by pulling it way up and securing it under the top sheet, with most of it's weight ON the bed instead of off the foot of it. The other thing was that there was a 3/16" crack around the door that could be seen through into the hall. It wasn't inline with the bed or anything, so not much of a concern.

I did run into a problem with my reservation through Hotels.com being incorrect, and after some inital resistance from the staff, the manager gave me the accommodations that I had specified on the app. Hotels.com has no customer service line for such situations.

This is an inexpensive no frills hotel that is adequate for an overnight stay while on the road. Two of us stayed in a third floor king room. The third floor has just been refreshed with new paint and carpeting and looks and smells nice. The room was very clean and adequate with a comfortable bed and sitting chair. The refrigerator was small and did not have a freezer. The continental breakfast was small but adequate and there was a toaster and microwave in the lobby/breakfast area. It should be noted that there was no seating in the breakfast area and food would need to be taken out or to the room.

Much improved from my last stay a few years ago. They're in the process of remodeling and the remodeled rooms are very nice.

The room was excellent - very clean and well-appointed, comfortable bed, and it was a nice quiet night. It is very convenient, across from Gateway Mall in Springfield. We arrived late at night, however, and the water in the shower was only lukewarm. That applied throughout the two of us showering. In fairness, the hotel was being remodeled, so maybe that will be sorted out. The breakfast was low-key - toaster waffles or white bread, yogurt, plastic-wrapped pastries, cereal in the lobby. We would stay there again, hoping that they have fixed the water heater by then.

Unfortunately, they removed the microwaves from all of the rooms. I let them know that that was an extreme inconvenience and not a very understandable thing for them to be doing, and that it would be a deal breaker for me in the future and that I would not be back, after multiple previous stays. The manager himself brought a microwave to my room the next day, and he was very nice and sympathetic, and I really appreciated it. Sadly, I still will not be back though if they really are doing away with microwaves like this. I will pay more elsewhere for a room that does have one.

The room was "ok" - lower end of the price spectrum so lower end of the comfort spectrum. Bedding was a bit threadbare but adequate for Nov. temps with the heater. Very nice continental breakfast!

Front desk attendant was amazing! I came into town for the Ducks game and she accommodated my request for early check in. So thanks to housekeeping too!

It appears upgrades are being done at the property which is good. Maybe a breakfast area is being created because as of right now it's in the office area. Better covers and bigger pillows would be nice. Otherwise, decent for the location and a quick overnight stay.
