Especially helpful staff.

We always have a good stay at the hotel, very convenient to all the places we need to go. One thing I would mention is the room appeared clean, but it kind of smelled like used socks in the room ? We sprayed perfume in the air and it helped. Did not stop us from staying there though. It’s great for the price !

This was an unscheduled stop in our trip. We were grateful that they had a room. The hotel is very clean both inside and out. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The room was large and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was perfect for our stay. Close to the freeway entrance, close to shopping, and close to many places to eat. Will stay here next time we drive through.

Big rooms, very nice handicap bathroom. The breakfast was very nice. We loved the set up with the food in a separate room from the eating area. Our only complaint was that the carpet needs to be cleaned because our room smelled like wet dog! You should have rooms that pets aren't allowed to prevent that smell for non pet owners. We eventually got used to it but the point is that we shouldn't have had to.

We had an excellent stay. The room was large, with a comfortable sitting room, two TVs, couch, etc. Bathroom had a walk in shower which is our preference. Breakfast was the pretty standard. Best part of the stay is a brewery and restaurant with excellent food and a pet friendly patio that is across the parking lot from the hotel. We’d be very happy to stay here again

The room was clean and the beds were comfy! My favorite part was the dedicated pet area outside. It's hard to find hotels that have an actual area with grass to potty your dogs, but this one is big and nice, there wasn't even any leftover dog poop. I was in heaven. Super close to Riverbend as well, it was literally a three minute drive. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very convenient, clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is a nice addition. We were in town for my mother to have surgery and had to extend our stay. Amber was so helpful and kind. It was a nice place to be able to get some rest and relaxation during a stressful time.

The main issue that never got fixed was the toliet leaking from the top every time we flushed it. It was told to staff right away at about 6pm on a Sunday, we were told there is nothing they can do about it because maintenance doesn't work weekends which I find unacceptable for a place like this. They didn't even offer to have us change rooms, just, nothing can be done. We had to put towels everywhere. Totally unacceptable, I know the place wasn't fully booked because when we checked in the lady gave us options of which floor we wanted to stay on which meant there were other rooms available. I will never stay here again!

The worst lighting I have ever had in a hotel room. Mismatched pale daylight bulbs. yuk. We were warned out keys might not work, dragged al of our stuff up to the room and sure enough, they did not work. All in all not a big deal really but it's so easy to find something better, so ..

The elevator needed cleaning and so did the workout room which had dust balls on the floor. The first room had a smell to it so we asked to be switched to a different room, which they did. Second room was better. Breakfast was okay.

This is where I always stay

Beds comfy, noise is loud outside due to traffic and parking lot. Breakfasts amazing. If you're a light sleeper or need sleep you must stay on top floor away from others. Doors slam at all hours beginning at 5am and noise was late into 12am+ We did stay during the end of Spring Break, but did not know it was that season. Otherwise we love La Quinta

I stayed in a “handicapped “ room though I did not request that. I think some aspects would have been challenging for a wheelchair-bound person. It was painted gray and pretty dark to try to find light switches. Lighting was inadequate. The bathroom door and outside door were quite heavy. The a/c heater was a bit difficult to adjust but the front desk had suggestions which worked. The shower was hand-held or theoretically moveable up and down but positioned in the highest point and difficult to slide down. The bathroom was spacious. Lighting there was not really adequate. The breakfast was sparse at 8 am with no fruit or juice. Possibly weekends offer more. Linens and towels were average but fresh and there were plenty. Pillows were great.

The hotel is in a convenient location next to a top notch brewery. It has a nice clean pool and a good gym. The WiFi works very well and the staff is helpful. Unfortunately the gym could use some improvement and more attention. Throughout the stay (3 nights) it was not cleaned, and the towels were not replaced. The trash was full, the container was full of towels, and there were no cleaning wipes available to wipe down the equipment. However, the staff did fix the issue when it was addressed.

We've stayed in Springfield in the past at other establishments. They've all been in poor condition. So we were not expecting much. We were very happy with the attention of the staff to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We will be staying there again.

The pool smell was so strong, it burned my eyes just waiting to check in. the breakfast was cold, even though they filled it right before dishing up. the fridge wasnt stoked for breakfast.

The fitted sheet on the bed had no elastic left and slipped off the mattress several times during the night. The ground floor room seemed to have a lot of traffic in the hallway. Also the road was noisy at times. I would stay there again but not on that side of the building. The room was too dark to read.

Staff was very courteous and the room was very clean. I have a dog and I really appreciate being able to bring him with me and not have any judgment about that. I'm also someone who is local and staying at a number of hotels because I'm moving and my tiny home is not going to be ready for about another 6 to 7 weeks. I decided to not rent another house because I thought I could just go from hotel to hotel and make it through this crazy time in my life. This hotel is very much a favorite of mine and I love staying there. I always feel welcome. Thank you.

Very negative experience checking in. The beds were comfortable. The shower water pressure was good. We had a difficult time seeing in the room- dark grey walls, and minimal lights- with fluorescent bulbs. Couldn’t read. Overall, next time I would pay a little more and stay elsewhere.

The hotel is don the street from the hospital so you may hear ambulances durning the stay. One nice thing they offered was a few of the restaurants nearby offer a discount if you showed room key.

The staff was great. The rooms have very poor lighting and dark moody colors resulting in a depressing environment. The bathroom floor grout was black rather than the white under the sink where people don't walk. Carpet seemed about as dirty.

Everyone, from the front desk, cleaning staff, and breakfast staff were helpful and friendly. The carpets and paint showed a bit of wear but the facility was clean. Pool chlorine smell was a tad overpowering, but that may be necessary.

The hotel said it was 9.2 rating. Not close. It was older place. Bed was hard as a rock but had divots. Towels were old. Sheets and pillow cases itchy. Not what I expected from a 9.2 rating on H.com.

The staffs were noce. Pool was nice. Room is spacious but doesnt smell good. Blanket caused itchiness. We had to put on pants to avoid skin contact with it. To be able to sleep. Soundproofing was bad. Noice from adjacent rooms woke us up around mid night.

I love the clean rooms and how big they are for a good price. I liked the service up front, expect when i sent my husband down to the car to get something and they lady at the front desk, who checked us in and saw us together, gave him an attitude asking him if he stayed here and after handing her the key card and telling her what room number we are staying in, she tells him theres one here under that reservation. He had to call me, i understand being safe and doing your job, but there was no reason to be rude to anyone.

For the price, this hotel was wonderful and the staff was amazing! The rooms are recently remodeled, large, clean, and comfortable. The tub needed to be reglazed in our room, but it was clean. I would have liked to have more comfortable sheets and towels, but they were basic and did the job. The free breakfast was surprisingly good. I was nervous due to the price difference with other area hotels, but I will absolutely stay here again!

The breakfast food quality wasn't very good. The worst part was the TV in the breakfast room was tuned to Fox News, spewing a constant stream of Trump propaganda!!! That turned my stomach.

Huge room with TWO televisions. The breakfast and staff are better than average. The bathroom is very small and the toilet is VERY short.

Free breakfast was very disappointing comparing to past stay in California locations. Very limited hot entrees and the scrambled eggs was very salty . Waffle was too sweet. Coffee not impressive.

Electonic charging options are fantastic!. Only real problem was that internet kept disconnecting on my tablet. Couldn't even tapvand try to connect again. Could be my room's location. Bed was top notch. Long time since I've had such a great mattress atca hotel.

The water from the shower flooded the entire bathroom floor. We needed 7 towels the first night, and 9 towels the 2nd night to dry the floor. When I spoke with the front desk, their only response was that the city signed off on it. When I asked about a liability issue, she literally shrugged her shoulders at me. While we didn't have an ADA member with us, this lack of attention to detail is amazing. The attached photos show how much water leaks out. This was the initial cleaning so that we wouldn't slip, fall, and break our necks. Please avoid this hotel at all costs.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Many options available for food with walking distance. Had good night sleep.

The woman that is in charge of the morning breakfast area was constantly cleaning, as well as making sure that the food was replaced as it got low. Property is in good shape for it's age.

Expedia cancelled our reservation and when I contacted the property they rebooked it but when we checked in it wasn’t a queen room it was a very tiny double bed room . The woman at the counter insisted that was what I booked and did not offer a queen room. In the morning I showed the woman at the desk my reservation for a queen bed and she changed our room. What a mess!! I contacted Expedia for a refund for the wrong room and they said someone would call me the next day but they never did!

Very friendly staff. Clean room. Only drawback was the bathtub was old and stained, which was more obvious in contrast to the good conditions and cleanliness of the rest of the property. The breakfast was good and kept well stocked by a very nice attendant.

Breakfast wasn’t grear

The room was fine and it was very quiet day and night. I needed a different pillow and one of the front desk workers went out of their way to find me one. Breakfast was good with lots of options. My only complaint is that every time I walked by the front desk, the employees were gossiping which seemed unprofessional to me.

Alway comfy beds whenever we stay at LaQuinta

Disliked the lighting. The bulbs were terrible, offering a color value that was way off from the normal warm light. The thermostat was difficult to regulate.

Better than most La Quintas that I hav to stay because of my pets

Just paid $200 bucks and can’t even get a proper shower. Basic need and amenities were not provided. Someone is slipping big time on the cleaning staff.

It was a bummer the elevator was broken this trip..

Lighting in rooms was a bit low in the living area but lighting by bed very good for reading. Bed was comfortable and motel quiet. Location was very convenient for medical appointments and dining.

Everything was great in the room and for breakfast. The elevator was not working. I am glad we were only staying one night and didn't have much to carry up the stairs. Check in person just said "elevator is busted, there are the stairs" I thought she might have offered a room on the first level, but she seemed too distracted to pay any attention to us. She started asking me questions that I had already answered with the online check in. I asked why, then she stopped asking for more information, said something about not uploading my id, which I had already handed to her. Why spend the time filling out online if they aren't going to use it for check in? I would stay there again, hopefully the check in person gets training in customer service and how to welcome and pay attention. She can read whatever she wants on the computer when a customer isn't standing there waiting.

Rooms are nice and clean. Elevators were not working though and we were on the 3rd floor :(

We were late checking in and the front desk was very nice.

Overall it’s a good place with friendly staff. But it’s too noisy when you have the first floor room and next to the stairs. Bagels are not fresh from their breakfast.

Overnight stay. Location was convenient off the highway. Room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast had many choices. Staff persons were nice and efficient.

Hotel was fine, breakfast good. Might be our age, but seemed really spendy for the value.

we stayed unfortunately the same weekend as graduation so the fees were unusually high. The room however was fine, it was clean and quiet except for some road noise. We brought food back to our room but there's no coffee table so that inconvenient, there's room for one. Don't bother checking in on your phone as you'll just have to go through the whole thing again at the desk.

There were two issues during my stay. Wi-fi in my room did not work. You must give the front desk advance notification for room service.

Only thing to note is that there are two LaQuinta hotels in the Springfield/Eugene area, so pay attention to which one you're headed to if you're searching google maps.

Good staff decent room

Hotel was clean and had a great breakfast. Breakfast attendant was very friendly. I wish there was a jacuzzi. Only thing I didn't like was the bathroom was tiny. Room was nice and bed was comfy.

I have stayed before . It was wonderful. This time they put me in the wrong room and it was not clean at all I will be staying there at least once every mth for 2-3 days on business I hope it’s better next time

The room and the location were great! The only thing that I didn’t like is they charged me a $25 per fee per day! With no mention of that before I arrived!

Excellent front desk staff. Beds very comfy and room clean. Just wish they had a hot tub and that the pool was open later but the staff are absolutely excellent so I’d probably stay here again.

It was great. Only 1 issue. Not a good selection for the TV. The channels I like to watch were not working. Other than that, it was all good. 👍

A upgraded facility of the chain

People above us very disturbing and loud up and down the stairs at all hours of the night. We did not get much sleep.

The breakfast was very nice. Great choices of food to choose from. The eating area was also very clean. Checking in was pleasant and easy, thanks to the friendly people up front helping us. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and plenty of bath towels. We will be back!
