Just a short distance to many places to visit and shop. Well-lit exterior, immaculate and spacious room, clean common spaces

Bigger suites than some of the other hotels around the area in the same price point. More attractive rooms and better quality of bedding. The showers and their Tea-Tree toiletries are so good you could shower for an hour.. Pool, gym, office space the usual facilities just appear nicer. Friendly staff. Did I mention the never-ending breakfast with amazing variety and quality for free breakfast. It is just located at the edge of the city at this time built in the subdivision that is coming up but everything is drivable in 5-10 minutes. There is a pub/restaurant next door, Scheels for shoppers adjacent.

My stay at the Springfield was great! I stopped in for one night on a trip from California to the Midwest and the property had everything I needed. There’s a brew pub next-door which was perfect. The customer service at the hotel was great and I would return again.

I like the suite concept and coffee was good. It took a long time to check in because of some issue that was not revealed by staff. They did apologize and offer me a free drink.

This is my new favorite hotel when traveling. Amenities were exactly what we needed - a little pool time, a delicious, gourmet breakfast, and suites that fit our needs.

Close to the bike path. Convenient to restaurants. Brightly lit parking lot-felt safe.

Last minute trip, was unplanned. Booked through Expedia. Arrived at hotel and the staff were friendly and we were able to check in 30 minutes early. Room was spacious, updated and clean. Bed was comfortable and breakfast the next morning had many options. Very thankful for the location of the property and overall had a great experience. I have already referred family to stay there when they travel for any reason in that area.

Room was nice and clean. One of the more modern hotel rooms I've stayed in a very long time. Only compaint was they did not keep the hot breakfast food trays filled. Many peolle standing around waiting for hit trays to come out.

The staff made me feel like I was at home and super comfortable. Something I have missed in post COVID travel. My room was huge with amazing features like a motion censored light in the massive walk in closet. The desk with the sliding partisan was a great feature. Then the breakfast-amazing. I was actually going to go out and find something to eat and then stopped and looked at what was available-oatmeal with toppings like coconut flakes, blueberry compote, chocolate chips and more!! They had great scones and breakfast sandwiches too. I got the best night sleep I have had in weeks being on the road and am grateful I found this gem of a place to stay. I was wowed on all levels and will definitely be back.

A hotel

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Being away from home over the holidays, they made us feel like family. The breakfast attendants were awesome and the facilities sparkly clean. I’d stay again and recommend this hotel to friends.

The facility is clean, the staff was fantastic, my only complaint was that the Internet both free and premium was terribly slow. Overall everything was nice and I would stay again.

Room was clean, sleek design. Generous breakfast included. Checkin staff was horrible though. First gave me a room that was already occupied, then tried to charge me a higher rate for a king bed. Manager had to come and correct everything.

We stayed the night on a cross country trip. So convenient for interstate access! Impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and breakfast area. Rooms were very spacious and great layout for families!

Stayed one night Springhill Suites Springfield IL while in town for a wedding. Very new and updated, clean clean clean, most comfortable hotel mattresses we've ever had, spacious room and bathroom, enjoyed by 2 adults and a teenager, and a preteen. Kids used indoor pool it was clean and had nice seating area. Close walking to a brewery restaurant and Scheels outdoor store. Highly recommended.

Great Brewery right next door. Nice sporting goods store across the street - fun to visit. Right off the highway. Beds and pillows good. Breakfast better than average. Seems to be a brand new place so obviously everything is in great shape. Did not use the pool or exercise room but. they looked fine. Friendly staff. Would definitely return.

Place was brand new, can’t complain about anything except the beds. They were rock hard. I’ve stayed at plenty of Fairfield locations which had comfy beds but this Spring Hill Suites used some of the crappiest mattresses a Marriott hotel could offer. My only other gripe was the breakfast was bland but that’s to be expected these days at chain hotels. Otherwise hotel is spotless and the team members are friendly

It was a brand new hotel so it was very nice. Staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay again if I was in the area.

This hotel is very clean and quiet, even though it is located close to the freeway; It is located at 5 minutes driving from the shopping plaza and restaurants. The rooms are smaller than I was expecting, but are good.

The room was new and clean. We were a little surprised at how tiny the King suite was. Since restaurants are closed for indoor dining, we got takeout to eat in the room. I sat at the desk and my husband had to pull up the footstool from the couch. The bathroom was nice, but the sliding door to it was heavy and loud. Because of covid, you may not self serve breakfast. The girl who was serving was touching everything around her with her gloves on. Then she picked up our biscuits with her same gloved hands and broke them open for the gravy. The entire health and food industry is poorly trained on proper glove use. I’d much rather just see people washing their hands frequently than wearing nasty, dirty gloves all day and having the fake feeling that this is somehow protective. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. I would rather touch tongs that 80 other people have touched, and then go wash my hands before eating.

I have nothing to really say. It was a new hotel trying to follow COVID rules.

Great new property! Clean and comfortable. Our only disappointment was that breakfast ended too early. We got there at 9:05 and it ended at 9. They had hot food left but would not let us have any. We managed to get coffee and a couple of muffins.
