Before my stay,I read the reviews of the property and staff,I was very leary but I couldn't beat the price. According to the reviews, they had bugs and staff was rude. I had no problems with the staff, they were very helpful and pleasant! I saw one bug, but I think it hitched a ride on my jeans from outside. They had a bug trap behind the toilet and it was empty. I will book another stay at the motel next time I go to the Springdale area! According to the signs on the doors, I had one of two no smoking rooms. I can't remember if I reserved a non smoking room or not, so I can't complain too much. As far as I know the whole motel is non smoking. Normally, going outside to smoke isn't a big problem but it was monsoon season while I was there.

Have stayed at Royal Inn several times while in Springdale area for baseball tournaments. It is always clean and staff friendly. There is small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in room. Also washer and dryer on site. Close to highway which is great for access but not much for sleeping. We found just running a/c or heater would block highway noise.

Arrived late but hotel was better than i expected clean and comfortable

Do not stay here! Expedia shouldn't list this property on it's site. The front desk doesn't answer the phone. The room had roaches. The bedding had cigarette burns on both beds. It is located behind a liquor store. I stayed here because everything else was booked.
- 5/5
All clean! Close to main street. The Staff was very nice!
- 1/5
This is the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in! From check in to holes in bedspreads soiled furniture and roaches in the room! NEVER AGAIN
- 4/5
It was was nice to see that our hotel room had recently been updated. We had all we needed (Microwave, fridge, coffee machine, hair dryer, iron, TV ...). With the air conditioner on in the room we didn't hear much of the road noise. Check in was a little awkward talking through the glass from the outside, sometimes having trouble to hear the staff person on the inside.
- 4/5
Nice room and comfortable. It looks new room
- 3/5
The check-in process was easy but the man was a little rude about it because i couldnt hear him from haveing to speak through the window with alot of traffic going by and plus the cleaning lady was so rude i wont be going back there even though thier rooms was decent....
- 3/5
The room was pretty clean but the air conditioning was very loud and the staff man was very pushy and seemed like he wanted done with us as soon as possible. Just didn’t want to take time.
- 5/5
This is a great place to stay.

TV, AC, mini fridge, microwave (older). Clean bathroom area (nothing fancy). Check-in from outside thru secure window like in a bank. Single story, no fancy exterior. Price was inexpensive. Room was clean and comfortable.
- 1/5
This was the worst inn I have ever stayed at. The sheets and pillows had red and brown stains on them, there were dead and live bugs in the room, the bed did not have a comforter (just two sheets), and I was in a room labeled "non-smoking," yet the entire room reeked of cigarettes.

Wasn't cheap enough for the comfort and location. Between the party in the next room to the interstate right outside it was difficult to sleep with the paper thin walls. But the room was clean.
- 4/5
One floor only hotel. Nice parking. Good neighborhood. Only problem next to freeway exit. It gets a little noisy.
- 3/5
Very akward getting a room key through a window outside. Was also very difficult to contact the property before my stay. Called 5 separate times during the week and no one answered the phone and you can't leave a message.
- 2/5
Reservation was incorrect / cost was more than anticipated / room was very clean / lots of noise from nearby traffic, from yelling outside and from couple fighting next door
- 2/5
My son accidentally left his phone and when I called to get it, the guy stated that I stole one of his towels. I let him know that there’s no way I did that and to please let me back in the room or I was going to call the police. He said they had already cleaned the room (I was only gone 10 minutes). I started to call the cops and he let me in the room, it was not cleaned yet, and all the towels were there and he handed me my son’s phone and I left. Worst experience of my life. Their phone lines are terrible and you the intercom they talk through are hard to understand. Incredibly rude and tried to take my son’s phone and lied to me. He apologized once he realized his missing towel was hanging on the hook in the bathroom but that does not excuse him holding a phone hostage or lying about cleaning the room. Completely unacceptable.

The motel was very very clean. The heating/cooling unit worked wonderfully, and the fridge worked better than the one we have at home!
- 4/5
Good and had breakfast
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable. Pleasant surprise. No lobby so check in was at a window outside but not inconvenient. Check in was fast and friendly. Cannot prepay for the room which is a little inconvenient. Booked another stay here for work next week.
- 3/5
The room was pretty clean except for the nasty chair in the corner. Probably just stained but it was gross. The staff was rude and did not speak English.

Adequate

I arrived at 3:15pm to check in (check-in begins at 3pm) and the room wasn't ready yet. That was a bit inconvenient. It's also incredibly difficult to hear the manager speak through the drive-up window. The room was clean when I arrived and worked just fine for a couple nights' stay. The manager was helpful and friendly. There was a cabinet in the room covered in brown paper and packing tape, which was a bit off-putting. The air conditioning was also a bit difficult to get to a comfortable temperature. My first night was freezing cold. I got the hang of it by the second night, but still had to bundle up. Weird brown spots on the tub, but they're probably due to the property being older. Location is convenient, but not amazing. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay and the price!
- 4/5
This property was fine for a single night. We stayed here before the train ride. It was very noisy from the traffic close by and someone was outside playing their music really loud. There was people hanging around out side of there rooms smoking and talking
- 5/5
Very clean and good housekeeping
- 5/5
The staff was amazing.❤️
- 3/5
It’s OK. An inexpensive motel setting, so it is what it is. I needed one night and was by myself. I probably wouldn’t book it if I had wife or family with me. There is no lobby, you check in through a security window. The room smelled a hint like like stale smoke. I opened the window and door to outside which helped. The lip of the bathtub had brown spots that wouldnt come off, so I just didn’t touch them.
- 2/5
Checking in was difficult, had to do it thru a window and i could hear what the guy was saying. The bed wasnt very comfortable and the room had an odor to it. Plus, there wasnt much parking on the backside of the hotel for people who had rooms on that side
- 4/5
I had a nice stay. It is simple and clean and comfortable. I checked in after dark in poor weather. It was windy and cool outside. I had to stand outside at a glass window to check in.
- 4/5
the only thing i didn’t like was that it was right next to the highway so it was loud but besides that i enjoyed my stay
- 3/5
It was the lowest price in the area, but still overpriced for what you get. The man at the desk had such a heavy accent it was hard to understand him - and it was after 9pm so I had to stand outside at the night window and the traffic from the freeway was noisy. I could still hear some traffic noise in the room. The room was clean but strange that a non-smoking room would have so many cigarette burns. Also there was nowhere to hang clothes.
- 4/5
I spent 2 nights in a smoking king room..I don't smoke but it was the cheapest room available. It didn't smell too awful like cigarettes which was nice. The room was tidy and I didn't see any bugs or anything out of the ordinary. It was quiet and I wasn't bothered. Housekeeping was friendly and the host was straight forward and friendly as well. It's right by the bypass so the highway noise is obvious but not awful. Convenient to stores and shopping so that's a plus. It's back away from the main road and not busy. Basic amenities. I would stay there again. Just your average hotel room. Not fancy or updated, but comfortable.
- 5/5
The rooms are big & the upkeep of the room is decent. I'll definitely stay here again!!
- 3/5
Good hotel clean rooms and decent staff! The price was ridiculous 112$ inflated by about 40$ had been staying there for the last 5 years when i came here for work!!! This will be my last time staying here!!!
- 4/5
They gave us a new room on other side of the building. Other than that everything was. ok.
- 4/5
It was clean and quiet. Fridge and microwave. Decent TV. Less money than all the others in that area. Will stay there again
- 2/5
Rooms are old and smelled like smoke
- 4/5
Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only drawback was it was noisy from being located very close to the highway. I would definitely stay here again, but would bring earplugs next time.
- 1/5
The check in staff were very hostile from the start when i said i checked in through expedia.the refused to give towrls and room had a used toilet paper roll, refused to give towels or toilet paper .violently banged on the door and t9ld us to get out and harrased us.Will never go back horrible experience .People like this ahouldnt be in hospitality

BAD:It was a non-smoking room with cigarette burns on the tub, ther was no diverter on the tub faucet, so a shower was not an option. I had to take a sponge bath in the sink. Who takes a tub bath in a motel?! Cardboard was used to cover a hole in a cabinet on the wall. The manager spoke broken English and was rude. The instructions for the AC/Heat were practically illegible. I would not recommend that a family or a woman traveler stay here. All that I needed was a good bed and a shower, I didn't get the shower!
- 4/5
Very nice place to stay. Not fancy but clean and friendly.
- 5/5
All around very pleasing from the parking to the dinning options over I would stay again

Smelled like cigarettes, very strong smell

However the rooms were clean. Only needed it to sleep.

We called before we took fifty dollar cab ride there when we got there the door was locked and he wouldn’t answer the buzzer. We never did get to stay there and had to go find a 200.00 hotel. So frustrating and upsetting after a long day of travel
- 3/5
Room smelled like smoke. Otherwise it was just ok.
- 5/5
Well maintained and sparkling and sparkling clean.
- 5/5
Nice people,clean, and accessible.
- 4/5
I was kind of expecting it to be a dump. However, I was pleasantly surprised and that everything was clean and the coffee maker work.
- 3/5
There was no deadbolt on the door, we booked the room for 2 people and there was only 1 set of towels, no liner for the ice bucket, we had to park completely on the other side of the building, and the floor looked like it had not been vacuumed
- 3/5
It was cheap, it’s very loud being right next to I-49

my stay at royal inn was great

My stay was very enjoyable. My room was very clean, no problems. The whole motel appeared well kept up. The hosts were helpful and very accommodating. I would stay here again!!!
