    Staff were all great and quick to respond to any problems. Breakfast prep people were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Front desk was also very nice. It is a bit dated (our towel rack was coming out of the wall) and needs a little refresh. Still, it is probably the best mid-priced hotel in the area. There are other newer properties, but they are very expensive per night.

    Absolutely nothing it was old and dirty I don’t like anything it was old, damaged and dirty everywhere. Pool was cold and there was not even clean it’s smell like a mildew. room was deteriorated in the bathrooms, old dirty. I mean, you can see a splash of toothpaste in the mirror of the bathroom I go downstairs to make a coffee and the trashcan downstairs look like nasty. I was so disappointed. The price was like for five stars eight stars hotel, and I feel like I stay in the motel of the third world country.

    The bed and couch were pretty comfortable. It's a very spacious room if you enjoy living rooms in your hotel stay. Very clean. One of the tvs sound was messed up and there was some minor damage on the bathtub.

    The room was clean. My only complaint was the tile in the bathroom was very old and the grout was brown. It just didn’t look appealing. The front desk receptionist was super nice and efficient. Overall good experience.

    When checking in, my reservations for 2 rooms was not done even though I had confirmation. Thankfully a room was available but not the type I had booked and away from my mom in another room. The clerk seemed new and untrained. Had light bulb issue in mom's room but after checking connections and screwing in the bulb tighter, it worked. Front desk wasn't very helpful seemed lost.

    We had a quick overnight stay at this property. The staff was very nice and helpful with anything we needed. We stayed in a double room and it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had good food and options however the eating area itself was very messy and dirty. Crums, garbages overflowing and you constantly had to ask for refills of things. The lady doing the breakfast was nice but sat on her phone a lot, when she could have been managing the room and keeping things in order. Also, almost every hotel trash was overflowing when we would pass it - just seemed like the cleaning staff was not on top of their job. But the staff we did encounter at check in and throughout were nice.

    I was told to pay an $80 coincidental fee that would be returned to my bank account upon checking out. They said for me to contact you all in regards to when that will be refunded.     I originally booked a nearby hotel but upon check in found out the pool was closed. So I quickly formed plan b and reserved this one. When I checked in I asked if the pool was working and they said yes, but people have said it was a little cold, but have still been using it. Since one of the main reasons for our trip was for my kids to swim, I figured a little cold water wouldn't bother them. It was not a little cold, it was freezing! If we hadn't already unloaded everything, we would have left. I was so disappointed. Plus the room was way smaller than the one I booked at the other hotel. I ended up soending and extra $60+ to take my kids to the bowling alley/arcade to make up for the lack of swimming. Now I'll have to plan another weekend trip for the kids to actually swim.

    The area around this hotel was very nice. Convenient. Property appeared to be short staffed. I waited in line (behind one person) for 30 minutes to check in only to be told my room was not available. I was told they were working on it and check back in 15-20 minutes. 5 other people came in to check in, so I hopped back in line so would not be delayed. The 5 others in front of me rooms were also not available. Got back to front of line another 40 minutes later to be told our room was still not ready. Left for our engagement, unable to get ready. Had to check in to hotel around 10 pm at this point and waited in line again another 20 minutes. Room was clean. The rest of the inside of the hotel was not clean.

    Check-in clerk wasn't very friendly, he made no eye contact, no smiles, robotic in nature. Head housing cleaning fenale was friendlier and nicer than the check-in clerk was. Hotel had only ONE ice machine in the WHOLE hotel! (What the hell). My king suite was nice, clean, up to date, but the dimmer switch for lights over the bed fell off in my hand bcuz it apparently has been broken for a while and was just 'placed' on knob instead of attached. Dimmer switch next to lounge/couch area next to TV has a 'short' in it and didn't work properly. IF I'm paying over $200 per night, I have higher expectations of the hotel. My room was #215 and I have stayed at this hotel 4 times now, so I expected better. I was not asked if I was a Bonvoy member upon check-in (which I am).

    We really appreciated the breakfast, especially the gluten free options. Everything was great, except we felt we needed more towels available (we were able to get more, but felt more could have been offered from the beginning. Also, our bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way. It wasn’t a big deal for us as a married couple, but other guests might not appreciate it.

    Accommodations were ok, breakfast looked awful. We went to McDonald’s. Service was terrible. We booked a double bed room and they gave us a king bed instead. Said they’d switch it the next day and didn’t. We were in town for my son n laws open heart surgery. We needed the extra bed for our pregnant daughter. Ended up having to book an extra room.

    The folks working were very friendly. The place was very clean and recently updated in several ways. The free breakfast was good and filled you up. The second floor ice machine was out of order but those things happen. The only thing that I would say is that the curtains let the light in from the street lights at night. If you don't mind a "night light" then it's all good. We managed fine and slept well, the bed was comfy. Would definitely stay there again.

    The receptionists at the front desk were very friendly. The room was ready when we checked-in. Gloria did a phenomenal job with the continental breakfast. Each morning, new options were provided and she was readily cleaning tables as guests left, filling food stations as they were emptied, and answering any questions about the food. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends and family.

    Our room was clean and quiet. Not terribly busy. Had just a couple of issues at the hotel -- the ice machine on our floor and one other wasn't working. But we were able to use the one on the main floor. The light fixtures in nearly all of the hallways were broken. It wasn't much of an inconvenience for us, but really looked quite terrible walking to/ from our room. Hoping you are in the process of replacing them.

    The room we were assigned was not ready looked like someone just got up out of bed. The elevator reeked of cigarette smoke. Gave us a different room and was fine. Woke up to someone hammering in electrical room next to ours. Got ready went down to eat hot breakfast which had been taken up earlier than advertised and so we had to go to a restaurant. Almost funny all the things that happened and 100 years from now it won’t matter.

    Also, this hotel is dated and normal amenities like hand soap in the bathroom is not present nor available. I don’t know how clean a hotel can be if the guest can’t wash their hands after a bathroom visit. Ultimately we travel quite a lot, and will not stay in this location again.

    Considering the price of the room I was very disappointed. The carpet in front of door was was raggedy causing me to trip coming in and out of the room. There were no complementary toiletry items and 1 very small soap bar. Remember that there were 2 people in the room. The shower curtain liner was too short to keep the floor in front of the tub try. There was always water standing on the vanity. There were unsightly patches above the tub. The lower part of the wall going into the bathroom had a nasty scrape probably done with the luggage cart. Too many problems for the price of the room.

    Unfortunately, this hotel has an outdated air conditioning system. It’s a wall unit and it leaked continually. The floor was wet the room was musty. Even the sheets felt damp. Clothing hanging in the closet was damp. There was mold around the edges of the sink. Some of our party requested to move to another room, but with it was no better. I was pretty disappointed in this hotel. I probably will not stay there again. The staff was very nice. And helpful. But the hotel just was subpar especially for the cost. The price was doubled for this time of the year because of that events going on at the college. However, I am paying $280 a night for a sub par for the hotel. I was not happy.

    We stayed there 4 nights, but stayed in town anothe 5 nights in a diffetent hotel. We definitely didnt like the musty odor all over our clothes. We had to wash all of our clothes and send others to the cleaners after we checked out due to the stromg odor. Parking was very limited.

    It was failed to be told that they did not have a functioning trolley to transfer luggage. For a family of 5 with baby luggage this was a HUGE inconvenience. The 1st night the lobby was so packed at the elevator I walked up 3 flights of stairs just so I didn’t have to wait after hours of driving. The carrying of luggage caused issues for my mother in law whom has back issues. The noise level was ridiculous the 1st night. Stomping could be heard throughout the night, even over a sound machine. The asst. manager was apologetic however we were told 2 different stories from 2 different employees regarding trolleys. Fast forward to today.. my mother in law asked for some paper plates… however, the asst manager said they don’t normally let you have any because they are expensive paper plates. Such a rude comment after the difficulty we had already endured. I also asked to speak to the GM, was told she must be in a phone conference because her door was shut. She did not offer for a call back or any information on when would be best to contact the GM. The hot tub was out of order and then the pool closed on the last evening of our stay. The room had a very musty smell to it. Overall a negative experience and for the price you pay it’s absolutely ridiculous! As for hotels… I will NEVER use Fairfield again and will stay elsewhere. A refund of some sort should be mandatory due to the negligence and lack of compassion from this hotel. If you have the choice, go elsewhere.

    Upon check in, we were informed the pool was closed for yearly maintenance, which I thought was a bad week to decide to do maintenance as it is spring break week. Also, the room was dim and the bathroom was even darker. Breakfast doesn't start til 7 on the weekends which is kind of late for people on the go early.

    My complaint is with the room location. When I requested the reservation, I specifically asked for a room close to the elevator. My husband is on oxygen. The hotel even reached out to me to see if I wanted a first floor room. I responded saying any floor will be fine as long as the room was close to the elevator. After checking in, we started walking toward the room, and walking, and walking. Our room ended up being the second furtherest room from the elevator. No, I did not go back to the desk to ask for the closer room. My husband had walked far enough already.

    smelled of strong cleaning products as you walk into lobby, commode broke, our room was not cleaned the first day we were there, the person behind the counter had to bring us towels and wash clothes as there was no one there when we got back that night to clean our room and delivery showering supplies.     Our tub didn't drain and backed up while trying to take a shower, the toilet didn't flush. The bottles in the shower for body wash was empty. We didn't have enough towels for each guest.

    Check-in was a breeze and the staff was really nice! The area around the property feels safe and still close to area attractions. The room was clean where it needed to be, and overall we had a great stay! Would come back to this hotel.

    Broken hot tub. The hot tub was one reason we picked this site. Broken ice machines. Furnishings seem word and stained.

    Cleanliness was decent. Overall condition of property was poor. 2ndand 3rd floor ice maker not working. Hot tub in pool area is not working and has not for some time. Still listed on web site. Furniture is old and could use some repair or replacement.

    The room was really cute with colorful decor. We had a king bed and a pull out sofa bed. It was a good night's sleep. We had a separate sitting room that was very comfortable.
