Nasty, dirty, rude. The fatigue is real at this place.

We walked in and the main area had a strong smell of Marijuana. I had prepaid for our room and they wouldnt offer a refund We didn't stay it was so bad. We drove to another hotel in the area.

Both the facilities and parking area had a strong smell of marijuana, which created an unpleasant first impression. Unfortunately, the issues continued in the room. The bedding—including pillows, sheets, and blankets—had visible cigarette burns and contained hair from previous guests, indicating a lack of proper cleaning. Additionally, there were splashes of a brown liquid on the walls and doors, as if a shaken soda had been opened inside the room. The bathroom was also in poor condition—the tub was clogged, and when I turned on the water, it caused a backflow that brought up hair and food debris. Along with the dressers and electronics on the room being in poor unusable Condition. Overall, while the staff were kind, the cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel fell far below acceptable standards.

Hotel reeks of weed and mildew. When I first got there, the smell was gag inducing.

Pretty horrendous... I was on the first floor. It appeared an area of that floor was flooded. As you walked down the hallway, there were drying fans etc but the smell was just foul and nauseating. That smell permeated throughout the entire floof including my room. Staff at check-in tried telling me my current drivers license was not a valid ID. Not friendly at all, no breakfast (although advertised) unless luke warm coffee qualifies as a breakfast.

There’s no free breakfast at all(McDonald’s is across the street). My television doesn’t work right.

the carpets are filthy. the WiFi was UNUSABLE. no breakfast despite offering breakfast. desk lady at check-in lied to me. no tap to pay. absolutely terrible stay.

They put me in a dirty room

This was the worst hotel stay in my life they had roaches bedbugs. It was totally disgusting. I would never ever stay at Econolodge again. The manager was very rude and not helping at all. She does not need this job and should be terminated

This is a nice place, rated it as a "3 stars" but it very easly could be upgraded to "5" stars with a little work. The lamps in the room, all had rust on them and none of the plugs/usb included on the lamps worked.

Bed bugs, staff very unprofessional and mean

The worst hotel I have ever been to! It was dirty and run down. Two doors into the hotel were broken, the gym was closed, the ice machine was broken. There was no remote for the tv and when we asked for one it didn’t work. A man was waiting at the locked back door to be let in by someone which seemed very suspicious and generally it seemed like a scary place and neighborhood. The bedding had holes in it and some candy was scattered about the floor so obviously no one had cleaned the room. Do not go to this hotel!!!

There were several issues that I had with the Econo Lodge. First, my girlfriend noticed a used soap bar when she first went into the bathroom of our hotel room. Secondly, on our third night of our stay, there was a lot of loud noise coming from the parking lot of the property. The loud noise consisted of music and people talking loudly to each other.

very bad. the reception is absent for a long time. in the Hotel app, it says it has free breakfast but in fact it does not.

The bedspreads were a little stained..dead cockroach in the bathtub, blood stain on bathroom door

This room was in very sad condition. I made a video but cannot upload to this site (Hotels.com needs to fix this in their review). I have added 2 images. Hole in the wall. Bathroom door is a mess (see image). There was mold on the bathroom shower curtain, dents on all the furniture, a hole in the "office" chair, the sitting chair was water stained, the bedside lamp was rusty, the bed cover was both stained and had cigarette burn holes in it. In my 50+ years of travel on six continents this ranks near the bottom. I have stayed in other Econolodge hotels and while they are not fancy, they are generally clean and presentable. This was not and I would not recommend staying at this location.

This hotel should not be listed in Expedia as it is. I t is being renovated, it is under construction! That is why it is so cheap compared to the other options in the area, but nothing says that is being renovated until you get to you room!

You can hear every noise in your room. Kids were running through the halls. The phone and clock weren't hooked up.

Stayed in newly renovated room----Nice. Parking lot was being resurfaced so had to park next door. It was inconvenient moving luggage to and from hotel. That was temporary and next stay, I'm sure will score higher.

Staff that checked us in asked for a $10 deposit in cash after paying for the room with card, said at check out they would check the room to see if it was left in the same condition, when leaving they did not check or give me my $10 back. I was going to leave it as a tip anyway but still wasn’t given opportunity.

I dont mind staying in an older facility to save some money when traveling by myself. Most of the time the faculties are clean. They are just older hotels and a little run down. My room here was disgustingly dirty. The floor was not vacuumed before i checked in and not once during my five night stay. It was cheap though. Make you own call.

The property was fine..to me the supper 8 hotels needs to be rerentivated..i will never stay at another..just bc of the fact..being nothing is really not nice..it was clean..but.needs to be badly renovated..because it is a older moterl and has not been renovated and updated it does not bring the best people there..it brings in not so nice of people and roughty..i only had four hours to sleep..one of the other guest had their door open with the tv loud letting there child run up and down the hall way..the child ran and played for most of the only four hours i had to sleep..the super 8 was clean but needs to be renovated badly..it was really run down and that is the kind of guest that comes in..run down sleeze bags that i definablely do not wanna be around and bad crowds ..there were a couple of what i would call sleezy wemon outside at the door when i went it..no one wants to be around anyone like that nor would i have felt safe and i did not..had i have had a child with me i would have went to a better motel..

One reason for selecting this place was an advertised gym and business center. The gym was closed for supposed repair and the business center's computer didn't work because a guest stole the mouse.

While I was there the hotel was robbed and the owner shot. The staff did NOT keep us apprised as to what was happening and we were left to cower in darkness for hours while hearing shots fired, sirens, ambulances, etc. There was loud, forceful knocking on doors but the person did not identify themselves so for all we knew it was the criminals knocking! Even the next morning the staff were not forthcoming about what had transpired.

The counter help are running towel scams. After you pay with card. They say oh I almost forgot! We have a 10 dollar deposit fee on towels. Then when you check out come back and say your short towels. No trash can in the bedroom no ice containers. Stains on the covers. No batteries in the smoke detectors.

BED BUGS-- we found and saw 3! Party of 5 in 3 rooms. At 2 am the Bed Bugs were visible. Our drummer decided to sleep in the van. I ran down to the hotel clerk and requested a new room for that party who went to the van, so at least his roommate could get rest. I inspected my room and discovered a bed bug on the ceiling over the bed. They do crawl up the ceiling and drop down on you. Horrible. I took a picture. I then asked to move to a far away room as it was 3 am in the morning and too late to change hotels. We inspected the 3rd room on first floor with no signs. We went to 3rd floor to our new room and saw three mattresses in the hall with blood stains on them. This tells me they have an infestation. When I asked the clerk, she lied and said there were "no bed bug reports". She was a good liar. But after seeing the third floor I know the employees all know about the infestation in the hotel. The room was acceptable, but despite the recent Hurricane Florence disaster, the maintenance of the place/location was obviously below average. Food in the breakfast area left a great deal to be desired. On a scale of 1-5 with 5 being the best, would rate the stay at 2.5.

Also only had decaff coffee and when asked for regular they said they dont know if they do they have to ask house keeping?.. then never heard back. Bathroom had water damage so bad that the water was pooling in the walls. Every time upstairs took a shower it would rain from the ceiling.

Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. We had medical conditions and they attended to them. The room was very clean. We can see they are working on the hotel and making very much needed improvements. Through it all the staff was wonderful.

They have made a lot of improvements here and they are definitely trying. It's still the super 8, but it really wasn't bad for a no frills kind of night to just sleep.

Tile floor was very dirty feet turned black from walking barefoot on floor seemed like it was hardly cleaned room smelled A.C. did not keep room very cool pillows where very thin and flat and smelled.

And the staff is wonderful. The area is okay with fast food options. Not much in the way of real restaurants without going to Fayetteville.

Found a living roach in my room and the entire place smelled like urine when someone wasn't smoking tobacco or marijuana.

tl;dr Just go get a hotel that’s $20 more expensive in order to avoid this hotel. Bed is comfy though.

I really had mixed feelings when I booked this hotel but thought I'd give it a try due to the location factor. My room was very clean, the hotel was quiet and the price was right. I would book there again.

Very nice people. Clean hotel. Room is quiet. From hall I could hear the people next door but when in my room... silence is golden. Immediate hot water in shower and lots of it. Bed was comfortable. Wifi was good. Only fast food options nearby. Hardees right next door. Others across the street. Easy Ft Bragg access.

Our stay was only 2 nights during which we were in the hotel to sleep only. The front desk staff was pleasant and accommodating even when we arrived nearly an hour prior to the check in time. However the overall appearance is run down and the hallway reeked of smoke. Our room was small but very clean and indeed smoke free. The furniture was quite scuffed. Overall I would give this facility a 2.5 of 5.

This hotel advertises Wifi but it doesn't work. They actually expect you to make the service call. No attempt to solve problem.

It's an older place but can't beat the price. Everyone that worked there was extremely nice and helpful. The bed was hard and the pillows were really flat but again the cost and location were the important factors for me.

The area is still under construction which makes it a little confusing about entering and leaving . The unit is a non smoking as well as the floor but with it being on the top level you get the smell from the lower levels . the hotel is doing reconstruction which is good and will be better when all finished but all in all it just passed muster

Hotel is old and out dated. Smells of cigarette in the hallways. The room and bed itself were comfortable enough but there were several cigarette burns on the furniture that makes me wonder how long it's been a nonsmoking room or if the furniture and comforter were that old

Really I just needed a place to lay my head. The hallway and room smelled of cigarette smoke. That was a bit annoying.

Everyone was fine. The lady at the desk was especially helpful and pleasant.

Stayed there for AA week, had a blast. Close to post no worries, construction is issue but don't let that stop you from staying at this great place.
