Reviews
The hotel reviews indicate a mix of positive and negative experiences. Guests generally appreciate the convenient location and friendly staff, but express dissatisfaction with the cleanliness, noise levels, and quality of breakfast.
- Convenient location
- Friendly staff
- Poor cleanliness
- Noisy environment

The location was great The mattress was old and you could feel the springs. The mattress should have been replaced years ago
- 2/5
No maid service in 3 nights there. Bathroom was badly designed .
- 4.5/5
The choices for the breakfast buffet in the morning were beyond my expectations. Also, the bed was the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept in at a hotel. The mattresses were very comfortable and exceeded my expectations as well. I slept decently well! Next door neighbors were noisy with slamming doors, talking and loud TV noise early in the morning. The walls are definitely not insulated. I know the staff can't control that but maybe spacing out guests in the rooms would have helped.

The check in was super fast, staff were all chill, room itself was quaint and cute. Perfect size for someone like me who only occupies smaller places. 10/10 easily.
- 5/5
Everything went really great.
- 3/5
The hotel is older and is maintained. The breakfast is a packaged breakfast you need to warm up. Not a lot of variety. Pool is in the hotel next door so had to walk outside to access.

Sound from other rooms, above and beside us was a bit of a problem, but overall clean and met our needs. Great value

First night room was clean but the bed was hard. When we came back a few night later we were in the family room and it was amazing. Bed was soft, kids loved the bunk bed and everything was clean.
- 5/5
The room was clean with room enough for two to be comfortable. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub!
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay.
- 3/5
Also when booking it did not say that the pool was ACROSS the lot in the other hotel and you have to go to the desk there and get a key from them to enter it. Hastle!
- 5/5
Also love the coffee availability all the time. !!! I highly recommend. AAAAA+++++
- 5/5
I just needed a place to sleep and this fit the bill. No frills, but that was fine by me. Lots of places to eat around the hotel and it is close to the airport. I would stay here again. The girl who checked me in was very friendly!
- 5/5
Katie the manager was super helpful and helped us every minute she could. She made a very stressful trip much better for me and my mom.
- 2/5
The doors were dirty but he floors were dirty going in the doors. The room stink when I got in he bed I started to itch had to get out of it take a shower and then I used my sleeping bag and I didn’t itch no more. Coffee pot had old coffee grounds in it. Very unpleasant stay for 90 dollars
- 5/5
This is a budget hotel. That said, it is a place I would happily stay at again.
- 1/5
Most unprofessional desk staff ever! I have never had any issues, stayed in January and had no issues but this gal was rude and said I am not your babysitter….??? Really we are in our early 50’s and almost 60. She viciously charged us for the next reservation and bragged how we’d have to go through the third party to get our money back!!!
- 1/5
I have never stayed in this hotel prior to 2022, but she insisted the computer has flagged me for stealing. I explained that I stayed there six days earlier, but got nowhere with this person. I did not get a room and had to find another hotel.
- 5/5
Love the stay
- 1/5
Our room smelled so bad that my husband started gagging uncontrollably. We had to sleep with the window open because of the smell which then resulted in the room temperature being uncomfortable. There was damage to a lot of the lamps, etc. It was a really bad experience and we would never stay here again.
- 3/5
The room is clean, there were some popcorn kernels under the bed, but no big deal on that. It would be nice when they say they have a pool that is not a “shared with the neighboring hotel pool” when there are little kids involved. I would stay here again.
- 2/5
Even though I gave information if the travelers with me they asked me at check in and required my roommates ID. They also required a pet fee after the fact which they refused to take cash for and refused to check me in unless I have them a card to charge to which they could not process with their machine and had to manually enter. Even though it showed completed I then was forced to wait while someone else came to verify on their end that it had give through. It was late and it seemed like every possible way to make the check in process more difficult and inconvenient was employed to which the desk clerk just quoted policy and inability to work around it.
- 4/5
Parking was fine and no security concerns. My biggest complaint would be noisy upper level users and the breakfast options or rather lack of. No cereals, not much variety in fruit, (oranges, banannas thats all) and not much variety in anything hot. Only microwave packaged fruit bars or muffins.
- 3/5
Pool was next door and that was a surprise as the weather was still cool. Room was adequate.
- 2/5
Smelt like a hotel from the 80s smell like mildew definitely will not stay there again
- 4/5
Nice clean place for the price. Staff was helpfull.
- 2/5
First, the key card given to me at check in had the wrong number written on it. After three attempts to enter my room, back at front desk , the clerk simply wrote corrected number on card and said Sorry. Very noisy nights, children running the hall. Last, but not least, ran out of hot water in the middle of my shower. BTW, there's no cold water. That faucet simply doesn't work.
- 2/5
The bed was firmer than I would like but tolerable and the shower head was tall enough for a 6' tall person, but I would not stay here again.
- 5/5
Na
- 3/5
Stock the rooms better since cleaning is every third day
- 3/5
It wasn't very clean, and the room was too small for five people.
- 3/5
If you’re on the road and need a place to crash for the night it’s perfect. Hottub and pool are located next door at their sister hotel, making it not ideal for families of little ones. The staff were very friendly but the building overall was smelly, icky and dated. Weigh the pros and cons I guess!
- 1/5
The beds were horribly uncomfortable! My son was walking around barefoot in his feet were black...gross. Our curtains in our room were broken so they would not shut all away. Half our plug ins dis not work.
- 2/5
Check in was at 3:00pm but we couldnt check in till 6:00pm. They would not do anything about it, they said since i booked with a third party site so they couldnt do anything about it. Once they new i contacted hotels.com they where rude and unfriendly. The pool is not even in the same building. The curtain was broken, a maid had to help us close the curtain, the bedding on the top bunk of the bunk bed was not clean, it smelled. We dont travel a lot but at least 5-6 times a year and always have positive reviews even when they weren’t that great but this place got to me, the fact that they didnt care at all about the late check in and also how the attitude changed. I will never ever in my life stay here again.
- 3/5
every time i open the room and whiff a smell sweating locker room full of men's clothes that needs to be washed the equipment. room 233
- 3/5
Walls are so thin you can hear everything. Often woken up by doors slamming, loud talking, and other more disturbing acts. Room was fairly cleaned. The breakfast is not at all what I thought it would be.
- 3/5
Parking was easy to access, pool and hot tub were nice. Pretty loud late at night with questionable people roaming the halls. If you're looking for a peaceful night, look else where. But not the worst
- 3/5
Semi clean room, the bed sheets looked wrinkly!
- 1/5
There were some parking lot
- 3/5
The kids loved the bunk beds
- 1/5
Sucked
- 1/5
Listing says there is pool and hot tub. It’s at the hotel next door and you have to show id to prove you’re staying there. Loud all night, lots of noise from the hall till 2am. Parking lot felt unsafe otherwise I probably would have slept better in my car.
- 4/5
Clean and Safe especially for families
- 5/5
Clean, very helpful and friendly staff
- 5/5
Was very nice Hotel
- 4/5
Not a bad place. Convenient to downtown, quick drive
- 1/5
The pool isn’t actually at the hotel it’s at the hotel next to it and found a dirty black sock in the room
- 5/5
Comfortable bed, clean room, good temperature, caring and helpful staff, excellent price!
- 1/5
The TV didn’t work, the desk clerk told me she would get right back to me about switching the TV. then after an hour, I went back to the front desk, the desk clerk was eating lunch, and at that I’d point said I’d have to change rooms. The new room, the microwave and refrigerator did not work. The only protein at breakfast was fozen hard boiled eggs unlike other Super 8’s I’ve visited.
- 5/5
Everything was good.
- 5/5
Stay was great
- 5/5
Clean room friendly staff.
- 4/5
Its a great value. The desk lady got me a room close to a keyed entry way so i could park my car close to my room with easy acess.

- 3/5
The room seemed clean. Trash was not emptied.
- 1/5
Check in was rejected
- 4/5
The gal at check in was very nice and helpful, breakfast is of very limited selection, Sunday morning there was an employee asleep at the front desk and we asked for something and she was very short, rooms are comfortable, pretty clean, bed was old mattress not a pillow top like a bed from the 80’s, no designated pet spots
- 4/5
It was clean. Bed not real comfortable sunk onone side. Dissappointed my visiting grandkids couldn't play in pool. People very .nice.
- 4/5
It was sll good
- 5/5
It was nice staff is always respectful the cleaning staff could work on manners tho besides that super 8 I will be going bacc
- 3/5
What a weird expirience. Definitely dog friendly. Urin and cigarette smell in the hallway. A couple showed up while grabbing a quick single wrapped breakfast option. They took 5-7 packs of hardboiled eggs, empting the fridge. Pockets full of packages of hot cereal, granola bars and oatmeal bars. It was very uncomfortable for my family. We slept well and got out quickly.
- 4/5
Morel was empty
- 2/5
The queen bed was a foam pad not a bed like the pictures showed.
- 2/5
Checkin took a long time, not sure why. Room was clean. The bedding was irritating. The bedspread is so thin and slick and kept falling off the bed all night, and the very thin middle blanket was too short and didn’t provide cover, very uncomfortable. Parking was satisfactory.
- 4/5
Didn’t like that all rooms are dog friendly. I wished that they had some rooms that weren’t. The staff were very friendly though, parking was good
- 5/5
Decent place for the price. Clean and quiet.
- 4/5
The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was not 100% clean. I have stayed there before and i will again. I feel safe there.
- 4/5
TV wasnt working even after requesting new batteries with remote.
- 3/5
The check in was great. The room was ok. We smelled mildew though. Im sure it was due to people using the pool and hot tub, then coming into the rooms wet. The room was also very muggy. We had to open the window in the cold just to breath. We never saw housekeeping until we were checking out, so I'm assuming you have to request anything needed there. We were fine though. It was pretty quiet and the area felt safe.It was definitely worth the price and I went in knowing it was a two star hotel.
- 5/5
Nice rooms! Nice & warm! Great price! Friendly service!
- 3/5
Room was comfortable and clean. The smoke alarm wouldn’t stop going off even with a new battery and the TV wouldn’t work. The breakfast was really not good. Free I guess. Pool was clean.
- 1/5
I booked this hotel a little over a week ago, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. After being in our room for about an hour, the smell of mold became completely unbearable. My son has severe asthma, and he immediately started having breathing issues because of it. I went to the front desk for help, and we ended up checking eight different rooms. Every single one of them had visible mold and the same strong mold smell. Since we needed a family suite with three beds, that was our only option unless management offered two separate rooms, but they refused to do that. I was told at the time that I would be getting a refund, but it has now been over a week and I still haven’t heard from them or received any credit.I had to pack up my kids and find another hotel in the middle of the night because the staff wouldn’t work with us or provide any real solution. Save your money.
- 2/5
Dirty tub, tub and sink wouldn't drain, couldn't close the drapes, the bunk bed was extra creaky which kept my son awake, could hear every noise outside and inside the hotel, thin walls. Not happy to find out the pool is next door in another hotel and you have to ask each time from the hotel staff to let you into the pool. Checked out a day early because it was so awful and no one even offered to refund me my second night.
- 1/5
The room smelled like mold
- 1/5
About the worst night I've ever stayed in a hotel. It just didn't feel clean and I didn't want to touch anything. The room next to us had people and dogs running around and slamming doors until 2 am. The coffee maker didn't work. It was just horrible. I got up at 4 am and got out of there!
- 2/5
The staff was wonderful, but the room/building was terrible. There are no sound buffers or bumpers on the doors, so you hear loud slamming all night. You can also hear everything being said in the next room. I also thought there would be some hot things for breakfast, it was only prepackaged items.
- 5/5
Great customer service
- 3/5
Clean . Friendly. But no laundry room at the facility
- 3/5
Stay was decent for the price. The room was outdated and ours was kinda dirty. We wore our shoes because the floor was sticky and crusty in some spots. Staff was friendly and breakfast was a great grab and go.
- 2/5
The staff was great! The bed was broken. The pool is next door. The breakfast was horrible microwaveable items.
- 1/5
Staff member was aggressive and rude to customers
- 5/5
Everything was great for the price! Clean and the staff was very nice. Safe spot too.
- 5/5
Great staff clean rooms right off highway close to valley and downtown.
- 3/5
Breakfast needed more fruit & healthy choices, better coffee and upkeep on stocks. Many items stocked out half way thru offering period.
- 5/5
stuff was very friendly
- 3/5
The walls are paper thin, could hear neighbors tv and conversation until just after 11pm. They weren’t really loud, just thin walls. You could hear everyone in the hallway.
- 4/5

Better than I expected. Good price.

I paid for the hotel through Travelocity. When I got there, they didn't have a room available.

I called the hotel about changing my reservation due an unforseen emergency 24 hrs before my stay and they never got back to me and still charged me for the stay. They said they were going to communicate about the change but never did.
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and easy to check in. Perfect place to lay your head for a night along your travels.
- 5/5
Really chill peiple

Our stay was terrible we checked in at 3:30pm and left the same day at 6pm. Our room was dirty and stink very bad and when I told the office I left early and wanted a refund I never got no response.
- 4/5
Clean room.older hotel but seems well maintained

The location was within walking distance of a few restaurants & shops. The pool area was not visited. The continental breakfast was a nice selection of basic fare.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Staff were wonderful, we felt safe. The only inconvenience was parking due to a crew who worked on the outside of the building our entire stay.
- 5/5
It was so clean and quiet and staff was so friendly 😊

- 3/5
It was alright. I would stay again but it wasn't anything special
- 4/5
Nice hotel for a quick stop.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean, relatively quiet (unless people had tv loud)
- 1/5
They need to vacuum their rooms. My feet were completely black after walking barefoot in my room.
- 5/5
Great
- 2/5
Not a nice place to stay. First the photos look nothing like the property. Second I had 4 adults and 1 child, they booked us a room with 2 queen beds. We had to buy a cot for our child to sleep on and they told us we weren’t allowed to have that but when asked where our child would sleep they said that’s not their problem, Third they made us sign a waiver for our pet that stated they could and would enter our room at any time and yet in the 5 days we were there not once did they clean our room. Fourth my husband and child went to the pool without me and since they weren’t named on the reservation they were given a hard time even though they had a key card and we have the same last name. I understand it’s a bad area and they have to deal with a lot but all of this was completely unnecessary and I would never return.
- 1/5
No drinking water, difficult to find the parking, breakfast and service was terrible. Anything you asked to staff. they replied we dont have it or we dont provide
- 3/5
Bed was terrible. The head of the bed was so sunk in we were sleeping on a decline. Ended up sleeping at the foot of the bed. Pool and laundry are located at a different hotel across the parking lot. Breakfast options are literally options found at an elementary school.
- 3/5
This hotel has soooo much potential but it’s lacking in a lot of areas. We booked the room with the queen bed and bunk beds for our family of 4. Upcoming entering the hotel room, I
- 2/5
Ya get what you pay for. This place is a dump.
- 5/5
Very clean, quite, modern, and nice place to stay! Strongly recommend!
- 5/5
Nice
- 4/5
Excellent boxed breakfast.
- 3/5
Pretty basic. Some things not so good. Super 8’s seem to be quite variable. This one was in a nicer neighborhood than some. The facility itself was rather dated. Not super clean (room was ok, but scraps of trash in the halls and on the elevator). Breakfast was really lame. Nothing hot except coffee. Only cereal was oatmeal, and there was no milk. Bread to toast but no peanut butter. I did not see jelly.
- 1/5
We totally did not like this hotel, after 6 hours of driving we were there and expecting a peaceful rest but whoever was slamming the doors was a jump scare for us, you can definitely hear the people walking, talking or slamming the doors while you are in the room, I asked for extra blankets and pillows as my daughter is used to roll around while sleeping and I make a wall around her to prevent her from falling, but they refused to give us( I booked a room with 2 queen size for 2 adults and 2 kids and I explained the reason for requesting the extra pillows and blankets but still they refused), I will not recommend this hotel.
- 1/5
The lady at the reception. Very rude
- 5/5
I like to stay here
- 5/5
Respectful nice.
- 4/5
Convenient and close to many stores and restaurants
- 2/5
It said breakfast was provided but when we went down to eat it was just granola bar, orange, banana and instant oatmeal.
- 5/5
Good value for the price.
- 2/5
Just not up to par, not clean in general, few amenities, pool sharing wit the next door hotes
- 5/5
Awesome
- 1/5
Dirty, no proper breakfast.
- 4/5
Overall good— breakfast was average, rooms were good size however, room service was not good. Had to request and even then it was missed and was requested again to get the room cleaned.
- 4/5
Second stay here. Not new but great for the money. Ample long parking at the rear for longer vehicle and trailer. Pool available next door. We were just driving thru so all we needed. Would stay again.
- 2/5
Power went off in the night, couldn't find my phone, so I was desperately trying to find my way. I had purposely left the bathroom light on so I would know where it was. Ideally they would have a back up generator for at least some dim floor level lighting so guests weren't bumping into the wall in the disorientation of the power outage. The bathroom was rather sad, grout missing, repaired wall wasn't textured and was soggy and soft. Just looked kind of gross in every direction. Not worth the money, in my estimation. We won't return to this property.
- 1/5
Hotel was pretty gross all around. Lamp shades and ceilings had food on them, floors were gross. No fan in the bathroom. Found ants in our room and nobody offered any help.
- 4/5
Rooms were clean, very close to freeway.
- 5/5
Happy to find a room with bunkbeds for my teens. They really liked having their own beds instead of sharing
- 4/5
Lots of parking for large vehicles. Very close to I-90 for convenient interstate travel.
- 3/5
The place was noisy with kids until about 11:30 PM running up and down the halls. The room had a microwave and a fridge and a coffee maker. The water pressure was good and there was ample hot water. The mattress was so old and saggy that I could feel the springs. Made for a unrestful sleep. Breakfast was available, very continental. Packaged cereal and tiny muffins. Fruit juices and coffee.
- 1/5
This was the absolute worst place EVER! We had a room on the bottom floor. The ice machine sounded like a machine gun, the side door sounded like a bomb every time it closed. I thought for sure there was 12 kids upstairs with all the running. Turns out, families live here as their home. Ummm what? The bathroom was the size of a walk in shower. I have no idea how they fit a bathtub in there. The toilet was so short i thought for sure i was back in preschool. The hallways smelled like stale cigarettes and our non smoking room smelled like it too. The bedding smelled like cat pee. Absolutly disgusting. The pool? The pool isnt even in the same hotel. You have to go across the way to the next hotel and check in with them so they can look you up and then you in THEIR pool. That information is important up front. We got no sleep because of the ice machine, the door, and the family living upstairs withe their 12 kids. The second and third bed? That was practically a futon matress on metal bars. Their breakfast was a joke! Cereal and toast lol. I have no idea what about this room classifies it as a suit, but the entire experience was so horrible i booked a new room at different hotel and we check out the next morning on our way to Silverwood. There was no way i was going to stay all 3 nights here. We had a wonderful experience at the Ramada for the same price!
- 5/5
Everything
- 2/5
I had stayed several times with no problems before. There are new owners who changed the dog allowed restrictions without fully notifying web sites. At arrival i find out that my dog who had stayed prevously with no issues is not allowed. The site staff was very apologetic and did their best to help. The manager was Not helpful and i had to make last minute hotel arrangements. Not going back with those bosses
- 5/5
It was alright. Eating area was a little tight for the morning complementary breakfast but I was still grateful and blessed for the food and stay so thank you.
- 4/5
Would recommend for budget.
- 2/5
Cleanliness is not up to par
- 2/5
Staff was nice but the 1st room we checked in to smelled bad and the AC blew out smelly/lukewarm air. The front desk agent said there was only 1 other room to move to so we moved right next door. This room was sketchy at best. Chips in paint, everything felt grimey and a not well cared for. I wasnt expecting much for the rate/a super 8 but i had stayed at this same hotel a year ago and that experience/room was better than this one. We just needed a place to nap on our long trip but i dont think I'd choose to stay here again.
- 3/5
The bathroom is too small...
- 4/5
Comfortable room. Breakfast not great. Friendly staff at front desk.
- 3/5
Staff were very pleasant. Only thing that was disappointing was their breakfast.. not much options, not even a simple cereal
- 1/5
You get what you pay for. Hair in sheets and a stain on the sheets. Floor grubby. Very old, pool is in another building next door.
- 3/5
Barking dog
- 4/5
Stayed here before and both times were good.
- 2/5
The staff there was awesome Kathy went above and beyond to accommodate us. It's the property itself that's the problem. Rooms have mold/midew smell mixed with pet. The breakfast was a joke. The pool is on a completely different building as well as laundry facility. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because of the crew.
- 2/5
My family and I were passing by and needed a place to stay the night. We booked a room with a queen bed and a bunk bed for our kids. The first issue was with the reservation, we booked online and checked-in online as well to avoid front-desk time, but still ended up having to do the whole check-in process because there was supposedly an issue with out credit card. We got our room key and walking the hallway to it we noticed the rug carpet was filthy and the area smelled like cigarette smoke. DISGUSTING! Entering our room was truly disappointing! - The room smelled MUSTYYYY ! . The carpet looked like it hasn't been cleaned or changed in decades, bed sheets looked clean but upon inspection looked like they hadn't been changed. The bunk bed was flimsy and noisy with minimal movement. But here comes the worse part.- The kids bunk bed also appeared clean but the sheets were clearly dirty and slept on since we found cookie crumbs in between the sheets and comforter. Totally unacceptable!. Super 8 needs to step up their game and actually care about their customers. Have some dignity and provide clean rooms for families!

While this property wasn’t the worst we’ve stayed at, it wasn’t great either. The room and bedding seemed clean, but overall very uncomfortable, outdated, and dingy. The walls had stuff on them and the caulking was nasty. No fan in the bathroom so everything stays wet for a while, which is likely the cause of the mold. It definitely wouldn’t be the kind of place we’d seek out next time we’re in town.

The room was clean and equipped. The mattress was not good at all. The springs where broke down with low spots in the mattress. Should have been replaced long ago. The shower head needed a lot of attention. Replaced or taken off and decalcified long ago. Water going in every direction. The fact that I could have saved 50 dollars on the price of the room, if I had reserved it a week earlier, is very upsetting. Just because of the Hoop Fest, you feel you can over charge for your rooms, is not only offensive but greedy.

The only problem was that the pool and hot tub are not in the hotel it was in another motel and it was full of children. being seniors we decided it wasn't advertised correctly.

Nice staff with clean rooms. Can’t ask for much more from a budget hotel. We’ve stayed here a few times and it has always been a great experience.

This Super 8 is getting very tired. We have stayed at this location many times over the last 30+ years and it used to be fine, but the beds are not very comfortable, the blow dryer is basically non-functional. The room is clean, but just basically.

I enjoyed the lication because i didnt have to drive far in any direction but having to go next door for the pool was not worth the stay....the breakfast was a snack bar....the staff was helpful and very professional.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Pool is in the hotel next door, but that was no problem and it was great:

This was a very clean property, rooms clean. Offers continental breakfast but no milk for cereal, 2 of 4 days ran out of food before we arrived. Food was fair. Plan on bringing your own or going to a restaurant. Toilets are 13 inches from floor (very low). For elderly person it was hard to get up from it. (I'm glad my knee surgery was several years ago). they said they are replacing them with higher toilets as they remodel each room. The tub needed refinishing or replacing, several bare spots in it. Overall, it was ok with the staff and the cleanliness superb.

Front desk is lackluster and precheck-in is a joke. Took 15 minutes to get keys. I probably scored too high.

The staff was horrible to us. Very noisy as to if we wanted to go eat snacks for breakfast or use the pool and would not let us use them because we have dogs. We had to get a rover sitter and we were still hounded about going to the pool. It totally ruined our vacation. We ended up leaving early and went to a different hotel and had a much better experience.
