The staff was great!

Great place for families. I reserved the 2 bedroom suite, did not get the 2 bedroom suite, instead was given 2, 1-bedroom suites. Great staff, clean pools and free breakfast!
- 4/5
My only complaint is the pool and hot tub had so much chlorine it stung our eyes and throat. My kids and other kids were caughing from it. My husband opened up the windows to help with ventilation.

This is a great place to stay!! The rooms are very spacious and comfortable!! I think we will switch from the place we usually stay while visiting grandkids in Spokane Valley as for the price, this is a better deal. Love that is has a complete kitchen and the hideaway bed was also big. The breakfasts had lots of options, even for my gluten free diet but they weren't always right on top of keeping it stocked. We really like that the checkout isn't until noon so we could go to church without having everything sitting in our car in a parking lot. Only had one blip when people sitting out at the fire pit were smoking with the door open and it was stinking up the halls clear up to the third floor!!! I called and the front desk and got no answer - as the smokers were the front desk staff and were outside and not responding. (I am allergic to cigarette smoke.) Otherwise the stay was great.

Exceptional

There were two rooms in one room. Staff was very polite and the place was clean breakfast was good. I felt like just walking around in the room normally it shook the bathroom door and I kept having to tell the kids to walk slow cause I thought we were going to get in trouble, but we weren’t even doing anything but I felt like it because of the door shaking and kinda loud

Breakfast was fine bagels were hard Furniture was very worn and used. Construction was ongoing and had we known that we wouldn't have stayed there. Also construction workers must have hit something to make fire alarm go off.

All good. Great Breakfast
- 4/5
The hotel seemed to be recently renovated. Bed was comfortable, linens were in good condition, new fixtures with usb plugs. The breakfast bar was very good. Every employee we spoke to was lovely. The only thing that put a strain on the stay was that the first night we were there, the fire alarm went off twice at 4:30 am. I called the front desk and they explained the situation was okay. It did lead to a poor night of sleep though.
- 3/5
While the room was clean, there are some maintenance issues like stained tile grout. Our room was quite cold and even the heat of the water was not very hot. I was less than impressed.
- 5/5
Room was awesome view great and stff was cool
- 4/5
Rooms were clean & quite. Staff great. Breakfast needs more meat. Theres no bar or restaurant on site.

The hotel is under renovation but it was a very pleasant experience

My family and I stayed in town for a week to visit family and decided to stay at the Residence Inn. The property was nice and staff was accommodating. I wish housekeeping would’ve cleaned more often, in the week stay we had they only came by once. The hotel is also currently under renovation and you can hear constructions noise late into the night. The fire alarms kept going off due to high chlorine smell/levels and not enough ventilation in the pool area causing and nuisance in our day. The room furnitures are really outdated with rips and pieces hanging out. Both mattresses were sunken in the middle causing us to wake up with back aches. Other than that

We had a nice stay. The hotel was going through renovation, which was good as it was showing its age. Overall it was a very nice stay, good breakfast, and the staff were great.
- 3/5
The property is nice staff very friendly but they need to keep up the cleaning in the pool house and the bathrooms at the pool house. Also breakfast is very limited they need to improve

I could not hook up my HDMI cord to my iPad through the tv. kept having problems… Not sure if it was the TV or the remote but just trying to watch TV was very stressful.

ok

This was a pretty decent hotel, breakfast was the same each day so that stunk and it could use some updating, other than that I will stay again..
- 2/5
Room showed extreme wear and tear. There was also a nasty musty odor.
- 4.5/5
Superb
- 5/5
Decent place to stay! Lot was full so they asked us to park across the street.
- 3/5
There were long term people staying at the hotel and there were a lot of them. Was not happy about the lack of transparency about that.
- 4/5
The staff is excellent and personable. The continental breakfast has great options and the common areas are a nice place to socialize outside of the rooms. Our family likes this location for the pool and hot tub, along with the comfortable rooms with kitchenettes, making it a home away from home. The price is reasonable for all the amenities as well.
- 5/5
Staff was helpful and friendly We had the pool and hot tub to ourselves and they had life vests and goggles for the kids! Hot tub needs cleaned it’s pretty rusted

I love this place
- 3/5
I was very shocked at how run down this property was :( the furniture was ratty, the doors and hallways were banged up. In the 1 bd. The furniture does not fit, chair is way too big. That being said it was clean and even for 2 nights I can’t do a hotel rm. I need my living area and refrigerator. Location is very convenient near plenty of restaurants and right off freeway. Could not hear neighbors.

The location was perfect where I was going. I didn't eat breakfast there, so can't comment. I was charged twice for the room. Booking.com processed my payment on Oct. 1st. When I checked in they couldn't find where I paid, so I had to pay again. I need to get reimbursed for the extra payment I made for the reservation. It went through my checking account on Oct. 2nd. Please let me know how I can get reimbursed for the overpayment. Your cooperation is appreciated.

I had the most amazing day ever! The entire staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! The room was gorgeous and spacious. I would not change one thing and I will definitely be back.

First time at this property. Very happy with our decision!
- 3/5
Breakfast was somewhat of a let down especially once Monday hit thereafter were less options and overall the quality was mediocre. Parking was an issue as there isn’t enough spots for occupants which isn’t ideal when your out of country and aren’t familiar with the area and safety. It was nice to have basketball, Pickleball, tennis available for guests. My favourite part was being able to access the river and nature so easily from the hotel. At the end of the day I don’t think it’s worth the $297 a night. Definitely expected more from the Marriott
- 5/5
I have stayed here multiple times over last 10 years. I was disappointed how the place is showing its age.

Great place for stay
- 2/5
Room was bad- dark and improper ventilation. Caused a lot of allergic reactions (sneezing etc)
- 5/5
Nice staff!! Decent room and amenities. Clean room and friendly folks.
- 3/5
Breakfast sandwiches were old and bread was tough, sausage was just Ok. Room was 150.00 which.is normal for this time of year but I would of expected for that.price and it being a Marriott property. We. Always stay at Best western so guess I should of made another choice. Once I got to sleep bed was comfortable
- 4/5
Clean hotel
- 3/5
The rooms are old The service was great.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay. Beautiful property
- 3/5
I flew 32 years for a major airline. Two thirds of my career was spent traveling. I know “The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly” of hotels. We were disappointed in our stay in Spokane. Here goes: 1) there was half a roll of toilet paper in the room, I would even go as far as to say what was there was “John Wayne TP - it was slick and tough, and wouldn’t crap off anyone”. 2) I went to bed and suddenly felt something rubbing on my feet. I finally moved the object to the side and untucked the sheet to find a cap from a plastic water bottle, 3) The tub had a bit of antiskid on the bottom but I could not safely stand in the tub for a shower. I had to lay a bath towel down to feel safe. 4) We discovered a 110v plug to be inop in the desk lamp. This was not a great stay at a Marriott.
- 5/5
My stay was good. The staff was excellent, the front desk folks were very friendly. The property could use a little updating as it was definitely showing its age. The room was good and everything was clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
Bed was not clean
- 5/5
Had a good night sleep. Nice clean quiet environment
- 3/5
Property is tired…staff is good.
- 1/5
The room we had was in shambles. The couch had rips and tears in it and the springs in the pull out bed were broken. The carpet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. There was cracks in the walls and trim falling apart everywhere. It looked like someone tried to paint over mold in the bathroom.
- 3/5
The front desk staff is friendly. Maid staff shorthanded (although I arrived after 3:00 pm, my room wasn't ready until after 4:00 pm). I stayed in a 1 BR, which is a decently sized unit w/average but sufficient furnishings.
- 4/5
Staff was amazing and great, but hvac system was broke so it was extremely cold in lobby, fir the staff and guests at breakfast, marriott if give this property an upgrade so you dont lose your great staff to a hotel thats warmer.
- 4/5
The hotel honored my reservation for 2 rooms based on my email receipt. We were lucky they had the 2nd room. Something in your system needs to be fixed.
- 2/5
I wouldn’t stay here again it’s old and was pretty dirty, the beds are horribly uncomfortable
- 5/5
Loved the roomy suite with fireplace! Sorry but the beds were too uncomfortable. Had to request a foam topper.
- 4/5
The pool was way too cold to comfortably swim with my kids and I had to ask 2 of the times we went to the pool for towels because there were none. Might want to keep a better stock of hot cocoa - there was only one pack which was a bummer. The couch sofa was not very comfortable at all and could use a warmer blanket. Otherwise the trip was good! The people at the front desk were helpful anytime we had to ask them for anything.
- 5/5
The Room was nicer than I could imagine. Good comfort
- 5/5
me and my family are really satisfied with our stay, room was clean and had everything we need, full and very good breakfast, we would definitely come back.
- 5/5
Great place to stay! The hotel was in a great location surrounded by walkable shopping and places to eat. The hotel was clean, safe, quiet, and the staff were very friendly and accomodating.
- 5/5
Traveling as often as we do with 4 kids, check-in was smooth even though we arrived late in to the night, staff was friendly & helpful, had everything we needed and more, plenty of variety and quality breakfast items. We will definitely stay again!!!
- 5/5
Very nice place to stay. Highly recommended!
- 4/5
Very nice hotel, a bit on the noisy side and overpriced.
- 4/5
Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but dated and had a slight smell that was off putting. Only there for one night so it wasn’t worth doing anything about. The property was clean and well-kept.
- 5/5
Would stay there again!!!
- 2/5
This property has been needing new furniture, curtains in the rooms, mattresses, carpet on the stairs, etc for several years by the look of it. Really sorry to see it like this. Staff is wonderful, breakfast was the best around. But we really over paid for this room.

Nice room, comfortable , clean. And staff was excellent
- 3/5
Apparently they were having some problems with Heating & Ventilation as the thermostat in our room was not functional and a portable room air conditioner was in the room. Also, when we complained that we were unable to login to wifi, the front desk was not helpful and the promised phone call to help never arrived.
- 4/5
However there were a few hiccups. When we booked a few months ago we requested a room on the 1st floor so it would be closer to the pool for our kids. This was confirmed by an employee but was not fulfilled. No big deal, we got a room on the third floor which was very quiet. There was AC in the main living space but not the adjoining room which made for big temperature differences between areas. Lastly, they ran out of milk 2 of the 7 breakfasts we were there. Things we enjoyed most was the warm, clean pool, the added privacy of having a seperate bedroom from our kids, and the location!
- 3/5
The facilities seemed a bit run down. We were there 3 weeks and only had housekeeping service twice. We had to get our own fresh towels from the desk. Our room looked like it had been abused, dark scratches on the kitchen floor, dents on the refrigerator and the carpet was filthy looking. The neighbors above us were so noisy and seemed like they were bouncing off the floor. However, the air conditioner was outstanding and kept us cool during the triple digit heat. I do want to say that every staff member was always friendly, helpful and professional.
- 1/5
We were very disappointed with the condition of this Residence Inn. It felt more like a halfway house than a Marriott. We reserved the 2 bedroom room and upon entering, we were met with a cloud of musty, moist air. It smelled as though the last occupants were livestock. The carpet was sticky and squishy - I couldn't stand to walk on it without shoes on, so that was interesting after I showered or got in and out of bed. The hotel felt really run down and it was clear that this was a long-term stay type of place. When we checked in, there was 15 amazon packages waiting to be delivered to their rooms. We stayed here once before, two years ago, and I remember it distinctly because the police had to evict an older woman, her adult son, and the son's girlfriend from one of the hotel rooms. It was quite the ordeal. That was during the first few months of the pandemic so we thought it was just an anomaly. But seeing the state of things over this last weekend, I imagine this happens more frequently than I originally assumed. Never again!
- 4/5
very good
- 5/5
nice
- 3/5
There were no extra blankets or pillows in the closet, normally we find some in hotels we stay at. I did find a zip bag that was opened with 2 sheets inside but there was hair all over the sheets so I refused to use them. Had to go to the lobby for extra blankets. Outside on the grass there’s dog poop literally everywhere. Old, new, literally every piece of grass had poop.
- 1/5
Room wasn’t ready when we arrived & they were in my room WITHOUT PERMISSION cleaning before I even checked out at 9am. AND THREW MY BABYS CUP IN THE TRASH!!! Very Disappointed!!! Do better please!!! Bless!!!
- 5/5
Nice place! And very clean.
- 5/5
Amazing customer service - really went above and beyond. Had room with 2 separate bedrooms, was spacious and clean. LOVED the shower, lots of water pressure. Bed was firm. Good internet.
- 4/5
Everything was fine except breakfast which was not up to Marriott standards.
- 5/5
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Friendly staff, clean, very spacious rooms and everything was so comfortable.
- 1/5
poor service, poor cleanness
- 2/5
Just had some fussy tired people after a long day of traveling
- 4/5
Easy access to highway and major shopping area
- 3/5
Great location
- 3/5
The room smelled like animals. The hotel needs to be updated. Hot tub wasn't working which we were not informed about when we signed up for a swim time slot.
- 1/5
They overbooked and I did not get the room I reserved. They then tried to put the 5 of us in one room. When they realized this wouldn't work they tried to put us in 2 separate rooms. I told him I have 3 kids and the rooms need to be adjacent. He finally worked it out and said he put us in adjacent rooms, but the rooms were not adjacent. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and the bathroom sink was clogged. Bad experience will not return.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. The two bedroom suite is very nice for families. Carpet and furnishings are outdated. Don’t try to park here with a trailer.
- 4/5
There was a very scenic walking trail right next to the hotel that followed the river.
- 4/5
The room was a great set up for my needs. The kitchen area was perfect and it was nice to have a separate room from the bedroom to watch tv. Bed was not as soft as I liked, but it was okay. Parking and access to the room was great. Downsides: the fire alarm was hanging out of the ceiling and the phones did not work (I was told how to fix them right before I checked out). TV was not connected in the bedroom, but I was able to figure out the input issue. The handle on the bathtub spout to change it to "shower mode" was very difficult to pull and never completely changed the flow of water to the shower (some water continued out of the spout). All little things that could easily be corrected during stay, but I opted to wait until I left as they were not big issues, except maybe the tub spout.
- 5/5
I don’t like feather pillows. I know it’s Covid but the brown bag was horrible!
- 3/5
It is still a step up from My Place hotel down the street.
- 4/5
Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was quiet. Furniture was worn, not fully stocked (tp, bedding)
- 4/5
Property and room were very clean. We had a bigger room or suite with a kitchen and extra bedroom and the price was very reasonable. We wanted some place close to Silverwood and this was perfect. Only about 30 minutes from the park. Hotel employees were extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was not really happening. Mostly pre packaged granola bars and fruits. I get it, the worlds not operating normally but selection was sparse. Other than that, great place to stay.
- 3/5
The room we signed up for they sidnt have available. They gave us 2 rooms witch was ok but if i had young kids my wife and i would have been seperated on a family vacation
- 3/5
Not very clean. I had to move the bed. There was an old deodorant stick, food, a toy, and of course dust and dirt. My room wasn’t ready when I arrived. There was obviously a dog that had stayed in the room. Floor and walls were scratched. The TV remote and a key card was shoved in the wall vent. Who knows how long it has been there. The pull out couch did not have extra bedding.
- 3/5
It’s nice but wish the gym was open because they are never busy or anyone in there to work out. The outside needs to be well taken care of because it doesn’t look appealing to the eye on the outside.
- 2/5
It is in WA, which means a lot of silly COVID-19 posturing. Hot breakfast has been replaced with a high carb pickup meal, with nothing suitable for diabetics. No coffee (Mormon run). Outdoor patio is closed because it is a “common space” (despite its UV exposure). I expect that staying across the line in ID 20 miles away would be much better.
- 3/5
This Residence Inn was a bit of a disappointment, unfortunately. It's somewhat dated and all the amenities (pool, fitness room) were closed due to COVID despite being in Phase 2. It seemed like all of the cups / dishes in the room had coffee grounds (or ash?) stuck on them. There were no sheets or blankets for the pull-out bed in the room so we had to make two trips to the front desk to retrieve those.
- 4/5
It was convenient. We did not receive room service so I had to ask for shampoo and conditioner at the front desk. We used the same towels for two nights. The gal there was extremely sweet and efficient for this and check in.
- 5/5
The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful! The evening social hour is a really nice touch :)
- 5/5
It’s comfy and quiet a good place to hideout on the way to Seattle
- 4/5
Love the room and it was clean with a nice size. The internet was terrible and elevator needed some work. The elevator was slow and beat up.
- 5/5
This is our second stay and both time we have had exceptional service at the front desk and also at breakfast. Breakfast staff goes above and beyond to help our kids and make us feel welcome.
- 5/5
Place was really friendly and the rooms were beyond amazing
- 5/5
If fit our large family and was comfortable and was at a price we could afford. Thank you we will be coming back.
- 4/5
Rooms were a little dated and carpet was very well used. Room was mostly clean but could have been vacuumed better. Staff was very friendly and would probably stay there again.
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly & helpful. Good place for a suite.
- 5/5
Very nice facility.
