Quality Inn Oakwood

Check in was a breeze, definitely one of the best places I've stayed and I come to Spokane often. Would definitely stay here again future stays. The 24 hour pool access was also our favorite

Staff were amazing! The room was clean and the pool was nice for the kids. Breakfast buffet had something for everyone.

I loved returning to my spotlessly clean room and oh-so comfy bed after a busy stay. I had to adjust my reservation while I was there and staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Room was clean and everything was working as it should. Staff was friendly and hospitable. Breakfast had a pretty good selection with biscuits and gravy, seasoned potatoes, eggs and a protein (sausage), waffles, bagels and cream cheese, cereals, juices, and yogurt. Plenty of free parking and right next to a Walgreens for convenience.

I’ve been going here since before its remodel, since around 2004ish It’s always clean, inviting, comfortable and always a positive, uplifting atmosphere and vibe (especially around Christmas time). The prices have sure gotten high but I know most places have… that’s literally the only somewhat negative thing I have to say about it. Wish the prices were just a bit lower but it’s worth the dollar either way! Oh… well I just answered that. There’s not a single thing I can complain about besides the price being pretty steep. But still well worth it

My friend is disabled and we requested an accessible room. Despite the accessible bathroom, the bed was so high, my friend could not get up onto her bed. It was so high. The mattress and box spring were very thick and the frame they rested on was about 10" off the floor. The staff offered a step stool which she could not use. The only other solution was for her to sleep on a small rollaway cot with a soft 4" mattress. I also was unable to find a brake on the wheels of the cot.. My friend had a very uncomfortable night. This was an unacceptable situation.

We had a blast! It was convenient to the concert we attended and it was great to have a good breakfast and spend time in the pool and hot tub the next day. Thank you for making our get away be comfortable and thank you to the always friendly staff!

Everything was great the only thing I was bummed about was no bacon or sausage for breakfast BUT we did leave at 6:30 am so it is possible it had not been brought out yet. Really loved the 24 hr pool and hot tub so I didn’t have to cut family time short just to enjoy the pool/spa.

Whole pool area was re-tiled. Nice. Cookies at night are a nice touch. Biscuits and gravy for breakfast was great. Refrigerated (very hard butter) was not. They did a good job of containing the co traction mess. Really good. It was a good stay.

The manager gave us the wrong room and would do nothing to make it right. So we were charged twice the rate for a single king bed. It’s ridiculous.

Nothing other than the staff was acceptable. The electricity went out just 8 hours into our 2 day stay and was not restored when we finally moved to another hotel after waiting over 14 hours for electrical reatoration. None of this was the fault of hotel staff, however was very stressful for my and my husband. My husband had had surgery early that morning and was to rest there until the next morning. It became an untenable situation and we moved to another hotel, which was very difficult. The staff has worked with Expedia to issue a refund for one of the two days, for which we are very grateful. My suggestion would be a back up generator that would allow the entire hotel to have electical service during an outage.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good. Our room was clean but it took over 5 minutes to get warm water for a shower and it never got hot, just warm enough to tolerate. The hotel is under construction and our room was right under the garbage shoot, which was loud and a bit unsafe during the wind storm. Debis was hitting the side if the building and the window in our room. The staff was quick to investigate and offered us a different room. Our last night the facility lost power and we ended up leaving at 0300. Our stay was nice the first day but ended on a bad note.

Room for improvement on cleanliness, hard beds, lumpy and hard pillows, and the room had a mildew smell to it. We stayed at the North end of hotel, and experienced "shady characters" at night taking used tires out of the dumpster next to Northwest Tire, and more "shady characters" creeping around in the same area using the dumpster area as a toilet. This was all on the hotel parking property, and should probably be looked into. To finalize our 3 night stay, the high winds blew a tree over that landed on the power lines. This knocked out the power for most of the night and through the early morning, so we checked out earlier than anticipated, since our room was too dark to safely navigate. The staff were all really good, and should not be held accountable for our over overall experience.

The staff are continually friendly. I have to stay often when I work. The rooms are clean. They have been making upgrades that make the hotel feel newer and cleaner. I feel safe staying there.

The shower was only slightly warm...

Room was clean and smelled nice. Pool area had a very strong chlorine smell, stronger that what I would consider normal for a pool. The hot tub literally burned your eyes and throat due to the overwhelming chlorine.

Room was a dog friendly room. Wasn’t entirely spotless but we love staying here because they are pet friendly, have a 24 hour pool and an area we can have a get together and play cards and let the kids play while the adults hang out.

Our stay at Quality was great. Friendly staff, we were given a remodeled room. I would’ve gave 5 stars but the Inn is under renovation and our bathroom sink was slow to drain due to the renovation. Other than that, we love staying at Quality Inn.

Friendly staff, clean room we had a great stay

The staff was great. The problem was with the reservation itself. The reservation should have been for 2 people and 1 night. However, it was changed to 2 night and 1 person. The hotel staff said they were ok with a change, but it had to be done through the reservation site. The site told me the hotel would not allow the change, even though they told me otherwise.

The room was filthy and they made excuses about it. Tried to ask for a refund due to that and having to leave, didn’t even stay the night but they refused.

When we asked for two towels and for housekeeping to take out the trash, they didn't take out the trash or give us more towels, they just left two rolls of toilet paper on the bathroom counter. The breakfast was minimal and not very good - although the waffles were enjoyable. The staff at the front desk was super nice and professional, though!

When I was online making the reservation for Quality Inn. The first time I completed the reservation, Expedia's web site told me the it could find no record of the reservation so I redid it. Then ultimately I got billed twice. I got a partial refund for the extra reservation but I have not received it to date. Everything else was great.

My new go-to hotel for when I come to Spokane. The room was immaculate, the bed comfortable. Staff were wonderful and check in was the most seamless I have ever encountered. Breakfast was wonderful as well. Looking forward to our next visit.

I had a min. schnauzer with me. He did well and the staff was great. Nice neighborhood for walking too. I would recommend the Quality Inn Oakwood for others and plan to book again in the future.

This has been a standard for when we visit Whitworth. It’s still clean and well kept. However, the street racers and surrounding area continue to decline. Nothing really unique here, just basic lodging.

My husband and I stayed there for 4 day. Never were unhappy with anything. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast had great options,the entire hotel was very clean.

Good choices for breakfast and easy to get to. Heavy traffic, but the hotel was quiet.

Loved the property. The only issue was the breakfast service. The scrambled eggs have dairy (milk) in them and there was no allergan information posted. We ate breakfast the firstday, including the eggs. My husband, who is highly allergic to dairy, became very ill and was sick for half of our 8 nite stay. This was very disappointing.

This trip was a special one for me and being at the hotel that located 5 minutes from the destination I needed to be at with all the accommodations and a very reasonable rate and one of the best breakfast spots I’ve ever experienced in a hotel, this hotel is absolutely a favorite for me. The room I was in this time I believe was the same room I had last time. I used the desk for work. The chair needed tightening up but otherwise it was a good setup to work in. Everything was there that was needed in the room. I had a concern for a couple of the towels being a little stained but I just didn’t use those. The others there were pretty clean. Overall, I enjoyed myself. I will be back again. Thanks.

We will be back. We were comfortable, felt safe and enjoyed the pool and breakfast. We needed maintenance to come 2 times, but they were great and resolved the issues quickly. The table next to the bed was not very clean there are spots on the ceiling.

Hotel was very welcoming and clean. This was our first trip and night away from our new baby, We got an upgrade to a suite! The staff were incredible and the hotel overall was amazing.

I was warned about the Internet going ‘in and out’ when I first checked in, but it never actually worked. Then the TV wasn’t working, I figured out myself that the HDMI was unplugged so I fixed that then had to play with the settings for 20 minutes to get anything to work right. Water in the shower also barely got hot.

I was not given a handicapped room, yet I was told one was available when I reserved. Thankfully I had my walker and I used it to showered with and use the toilet. Fridge did not work, bed height was 3 inches above my waist. I’m old and handicapped no way I could jump. The front desk person was argumentative, rude, the guy that replaced the fridge was very nice and got the job done. The breakfast buffet was very good.

We chose this hotel for price and it was close to the event we were in town for. Even though it is located on a super busy street and business area, our room was so quiet and peaceful. Our room and the overall facility was clean and pleasant to be in.

The room we were in was dated but we have stayed here 10+ times and will again. Good breakfast and location for where we need to be.

several stays at this Quality Inn in North Spokane. Love the breakfast and pool but sure wish they would get their hot tub working!! Coffee and tea in lobby and cookies at bedtime are also enjoyed!

I had a great stay at Quality Inn Oakwood in Spokane from May 12 to May 13 while on a work trip. The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable—everything I needed for a productive and restful visit. The staff were professional and helpful, and check-in and checkout were smooth. I recommend this hotel to other business travelers and will stay here again when work brings me back to Spokane.

Beds very comfortable, clean, well-maintained room, lobby, grounds. Loved option of full-time fan on A/C. Towels a little rough and thinner, but in good condition. Only real drawback was low toilet. We are over 65 and husband is tall so we appreciate taller toilets. Breakfast was fantastic, bacon, eggs, biscuits & gravy, muffins, everything anyone would want. Will definitely stay there again.

Expedia advertised a double king room (one private room with a king bed, connected to the rest of the hotel room with another king bed in the photo). We booked it, for the four of us and when we got to the hotel we were informed that they “do not offer a double king room. It does not exist.” And that the room that their system booked for us was a king suite with only one bed. Due to there being four of us we could not take the king suite with only one bed, so they offered us a regular two queen room that was one room with two queen beds in it. However, they would not give us the difference for the room we booked versus the room we actually got. And on top of it all the fridge in the room we got moved into did not work. This was poorly handled through Expedia and through the hotel.

My family stayed here so we could visit Silverwood. We had a great experience! 24 hour pool & hot tub were clean and nice. The hot breakfast was a great, easy start for the day. I liked that the hotel was right next to a store. Staff were very friendly, and the room was clean and cozy.
