Oxford Suites Downtown Spokane

I have stayed here before and had a better experience than this weekend, unfortunately. The hotel is great but our room had a terrible odor, it was next to the elevators, and our view was the parking lot. It was also very noisy at night during sleeping hours. Maybe next time I will specifically book a river view room and make sure it’s not next to the elevators.

The room was extremely clean. The property was very clean. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. The staff were very helpful. The location is very close to riverfront Park and easy access to all of the exciting events taking place downtown

We just left and spent 3 restful nights at the Oxford Inn downtown Spokane. Bed was comfy. Room was nice size. Always love the tub/shower combination. Breakfast was so yummy with plenty and lots of choice. All of the staff were great. First night we arrived I wasn't feeling great. Husband ordered a French Dip from the bistro. I had one bite as he said it was so good and it was delicious. Wonderful graduation weekend with our grandson. Thanks for the nice stay.

Slept real good! No one was at the front desk when checking out. But other than that the room was pretty clean and quiet except for a few things like the bathroom is very small and tight spaced that I nearly tripped when getting out of the tub. The lotion smelled like sweaty flesh.

Check in was great. Staff at breakfast were unfriendly. There were a few out of sight in the kitchen, talking and laughing. I had a question regarding the food and there was no one. Eventually someone came out of the kitchen, totally ignored me. I kept saying excuse me.. eventually I was acknowledged and she was abrupt and dismissive. Very disappointed at the unnecessary unfairness or professionalism. Don’t think I’d return 😞

Convenient location

Great location on the river, plenty of parking, nice breakfast and a social hour in the evening with a free drink. Rooms are spacious, sink is in the room, but thin walls and ceiling for noise. We were placed on the ground floor with parking lot views, close to the front desk (so more noise coming from the front). Wish we were a floor or two up to have a chance to see the river views and have less noise.

The staff was great. The hotel was very nice and the bar and restaurant were good. The breakfast was nothing exciting but it will feed you.

Room stunk. Asked for some kind of Deodorizer but they never got it done while we were away from the property for a half day. Can't imagine this issue hasn't come up before now.

Our room was super clean and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. The public areas were interesting and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us to explore the park.

The Hotel it is good with excellent staff, However my room was not deep clean. I saw some dirty spots. Also charging phone isn’t easy their charger’s are very slow and need replacement. Also be careful because so many homeless people wandering on the trail by Hotel. It’s not safe if you are solo female to go for a walk alone in early morning or evening.

Our stay was perfect! The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable and the staff was accommodating with a late check in. Breakfast was early enough for us to start our day with time to “coffee up” and head out!

It was a nice spacious room. Breakfast was good and on time early. The carpet in the lobby was old and it has a smell in the lobby like old carpet. The location was perfect close to Wendy's too.

Overall it’s a nice hotel with a great central location. But that’s kind of where the good ended for us. The room was a bizarre layout with the sink at the foot of the bed instead of in the bathroom, the bathroom was extremely small which was very uncomfortable. And if we’re going to mention uncomfortable we should talk about the bed that was hard as a rock, made awful metal clanking sounds with any movement on one side and just overall was not good. The curtains didn’t stay closed which in a first floor room is very problematic (and the sheer curtains were not a solid sheer material but lace so no privacy). The pool area was filthy and the layer of dead skin on top of the hot tub was disgusting. Breakfast was fine.

Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable pool was super cool open till late. Breakfast was so delicious they have so many choices I will definitely coming back to enjoy their breakfast again. The staff was super friendly and clean and neat made us feel super welcome and the biscuits and gravy and fruit was amazing. The front fest gentlemen very professional and welcoming. The back of the hotel has a beautiful trail to the water that was very beautiful to enjoy nature.

Breakfast wasn’t good. We’ve decided to choose hotels that don’t serve complimentary breakfast. Staff was not professional. Front desk, house cleaners and others were wearing jeans and stretch pants. Walking around talking to each other while we were having breakfast. Everything felt very unprofessional. Kitchen in our room had nothing in the cabinets just two coffee cups. Why even offer a kitchen!

We had a group of 7 ( 4 rooms) all were very satisfied with the entire stay. Would be my first pick for a stay in Spokane again.

This visit (my third or fourth stay), I tried the evening fresh sheet for dinner. Really convenient and yummy food! Really beautiful big room this time too on the third floor! Of course I’m coming back!

Very clean and well taken care of. Here’s a “tip” for O.S.: Have a QR code somewhere to tip cleaning staff (I didn’t have any cash). Oh - breakfast was good - lots of choices! Plenty of seating. Probably wouldn’t stay there again but that’s just because of how irritated I was at the “clientele” running up and down the hallway and slamming doors when we were trying to sleep….not really O.S. fault though. I love quiet hotels.

We had a great stay here, we love this place. The only issue we had was the people above us for the first couple of days were very loud walking back and forth in their room in the early morning and late at night.

Excellent service! Outstanding breakfast buffet included for all that are in the room. Pool, hot tub, steam room, and sauna are great for relaxing! Three minute drive to Gonzaga and right on the river. I'll be back again for sure!

There was a FBLA convention somewhere near by, the walls are thin, so all the commotion and chaos happening in other rooms or in the hallways impacted my ability zoom for work. I left one day before scheduled because of this. When I notified the front desk, they responded without care, or help find a solution for me.

The Oxford is a nice clean hotel, it served our needs for a quick 2 night stay. I feel the staff good of better informed us of the amenities and breakfast hours and happy hour. They put 2 tickets in our key envelope with no explanation so we missed out on breakfast. Other than that it was clean and comfortable.

We had a room with a balcony over the river. Albeit small, it was really nice to have. The front desk staff was very helpful as well.

This property is close to the Numeria Veterans Arena, very convenient and easy to find. Excellent place to stay.

Great location on Spokane River with paved trail/path along the river. Huge room. Clean and modern. Walkable/short Lime Ride to Convention Center, Podium, Spokane Arena. Food options short drive away. Parking is tight (I had to park at neighboring business). Breakfast room also small (we had to bring it to room), but food was good. Pool looked fine. Would stay again for sure.

The view is great of the river the rooms are nice but housekeeping is poor moved rooms due to hair everywhere, the second room hair as well the pool had hair all in it as well. The smell in the room was not great either. The breakfast is nice, it's in a great location.

The staff was very nice and informative right from check-in. Everywhere, including our room, was very clean. I will say, we thought our room was one of the oddest configured hotel rooms we've seen. The sink for the entire room was on the wall across from the bed, leaving only a body's width between the sink and the bed. The King-sized bed even seemed shorter so they could make this setup happen. The bathroom contained just the toilet and shower and was super small; a person could barely dry themselves off in it. Also, the shower "screamed" periodically while showering. We honestly thought the rooms needed flipped; the bedroom area being switched with the seating area. the TV remotes were also terrible, and we had a horrible time getting them to work. We did book a room with a sleeper sofa as we had my boyfriend's sister joining us for one of the two nights we booked. She said the sleeper sofa was pretty comfy, and the room even had a divider between the two areas of the room so she could have her privacy. Therefore, this hotel is pretty good if you are traveling in a group. We only ate the breakfast the second day we were there, but it was pretty decent. Not the best I have ever had, but also not the worst. This hotel could definitely use a remodel, but it wasn't terrible.

Great view from the balcony room. Could have used a little more vacuuming but otherwise very clean and neat. Helpful staff and free breakfast. We are planning to stay here on our next Spokane trip.

The room was great, executive suite with a balcony. The breakfast selection is good, if you get there early enough. Coffee not available 24 hrs. In room water boiler pitcher for steeping coffee was not ideal. Limited pool hours, 9am to 10pm, did not work for us. There was a lot of pool patrons and the pool and spa are small. Our room neighbors left their garbage and food tray outside their doors, dirty glasses left on the table at the end of the hall. Not really the hotel’s fault, but if staff isn’t on the floors until the next day for room cleaning, then the trash sat all night. The guests should have taken their trash/food tray downstairs rather than leaving it outside their doors. We won’t stay here again.

Hotel was clean, updated, fresh smell, kids enjoyed the indoor pool. It was a busy weekend in town but staff were still helpful and attentive. Will stay again.

Lovely swim and sauna after a long day

This is our go to place when we stay in Spokane for sports. It’s always clean and the staff is very helpful.

It was nice location. The room was perfect. The staff was super friendly and professional. We had a slight problem with our microwave in our room, but they took care of it quickly and brought in a new microwave.

Location was good. Older hotel. Can hear conversations in hallway and next door. Luke warm water for showers in busy morning time. No housekeeping during your stay.

The hotel is in walking distance to Riverfront Park. I thought the bathroom situation in my room was super annoying because the counter and sink are the in the common area and the shower toilet are in a separate room. You need these little tickets to get breakfast and a free drink in the bistro and that was also pretty annoying. But the staff was great, the pool area was totally adequate and fine, and it was fairly quiet Saturday night.

TV's are super old. The breakfast was plain and boring. The bathroom really small and the sink is right in front of the bed so every time somebody turns on the light it is right on your eyes.

Nice and clean hotel, and fine overall, but I think it wasn’t quite as the photos suggested, especially the bistro, which was basically more of a cafeteria than a restaurant. And this is a nitpick, but the “cool” white lights (that look blue) mixed in with regular warmer white light bulbs in the room gave it a very sterile feel. I would not use the cool white lights. Lastly, I like bright bathroom and vanity areas. The area in the room was dimly lit. Otherwise, the stay was fine.

We really enjoyed our stay, our room was clean and had a good amount of space. The pool was clean and even had a steam room and sauna! The location was great too and we walked to Riverfront Park and River Park Square.

Staff was courteous, loved the free happy hour! Did not love the traffic noise as my room faced Ruby street and most of the breakfast was gone when I arrived an hour before it closed. Overall a good place to stay and would stay there again!

When traveling alone, I always feel safe

My truck was broken into in their parking lot. Yes it was my fault for having a backpack left in the truck. When we asked the management to check the video, they responded with they will only do it with a warrant. Their reader board says “we treat you like family”, I don’t know what type of family makes you get a warrant to see your truck being broken into. Highly upset with this property and will never stay here again,

The only disappointment was the Bistro restaurant. The food was meh and the menu was limited. We couldnt find any staff to order and the bartender didnt initially tell us that we needed to olace our order with her.

The staff was very kind, rooms comfy. restaurant is exceptional (not your typical hotel breakfast, yum!). The room came with a daily drink voucher and I always had fun hanging out at the bar downstairs. the main bartender is a really cool dude!! Best part is the location, you can walk right onto the centennial trail, and explore the park/downtown area. While still being tucked away from the Main Street traffic. 🙌

We have stayed here twice now and it has moved to the top of our “favorite local hotels” list! The room was perfect for us! Love paying extra for a view of the river. The location is ideal. Walking path goes right behind and takes you right over to Riverfront Park. My young girls and I felt completely safe at the hotel and walking to/from. We enjoy the breakfast and the pool area! We stayed at the Historic Davenport last year and it was not as enjoyable as the Oxford Suites! We will definitely be back next Christmas break and will hopefully get to stay longer! Thank you!

Hot tub and pool closed for too early in my opinion and there were obvious stains on the carpet in the room but other than that everything else was good!

Room was roomy and not cramped.Only complaint was that we were near the pool and it was quite noisy while children were playing there.

This was our second stay here this year. Both times I requested a room on the top floor to avoid the noise from a room above, and specifically requested a room in a quiet location. The first stay, the hotel was at a higher occupancy, so when we were told we could not have a room higher than 4th floor, we understood. Fortunately there wasn’t a lot of noise from above us that time, though our room was across the hall from the housekeeping storage, and staff entering that room woke us up earlier than we would have liked. This last stay, we were again told that there was nothing available on the top floor, and were given the exact same room as last time, on 4th floor, even though the hotel was at a much lower occupancy. Later we chatted with a person in the elevator who was going to the 5th floor, and she was surprised that we couldn’t get a room on that floor when our reservation was made weeks ahead, yet she had just walked in and gotten a room that evening and was given a top floor room. Unfortunately, this stay. someone was in the room above us, and we could hear their stomping footsteps back and forth all evening and again early in the morning, which kept us up late and woke us up earlier than we wanted to get up. The evening complimentary snack and beverage was disappointing (Mac and cheese??) and potatoes served at breakfast were not even warm. Quality has slipped over the years, sadly.

The room as huge and fantastic, the staff was polite and helpful, the pool and hot tub were great as well. I will be coming back again!

Check in was very quick. Room and bedding was very clean. Bistro & Breakfast was good with friendly staff. Hotel was clean (have stayed in many that the hallways are pretty disgusting). I will definitely come again.

Not good stay. The staff did not help when requested only said that he couldn't help because other employees were not there. Breakfast was not worth it, there was very limited to no foods for the kids. The other room we had for our kids, the AC was leaking onto the floor. We had to just put towels underneath.

Very nice place, staff were nice and very helpful. We didn’t do breakfast at the hotel so I cannot comment on that. Room was GREAT. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was a bit tiny but nice and clean. It is right on the walking path and that is our favorite thing to do in Spokane, walk around the city.

We were able to get an early check-in that really helped us on this trip. The room was great, clean quiet and had a great view of the river. Pillows were fantastic. The staff was extreamly helpful and accommodating.

Needed a centrally located stay while in town overnight for a concert at the Spokane Arena. The Hotel was above and beyond my expectations.

Nice room, but we were disappointed with the breakfast. Last time we were here, the breakfast was cooked to order. This time, it was standard buffet stuff like other motels offer. The eggs were a bit tastier and the fruit was fresh, but the oatmeal was that nasty instant stuff and the French toast sticks were more like real sticks (very hard). My shower was cool (no hot water left, I guess) and the neighbors upstairs were noisy. But it was the disappointing breakfast that really affected my rating here.

It started weird when we checked in and were asked the same questions a few times by the same person. It set a weird tone when we had to answer if it was the first time we had stayed there multiple times. We had a King Suite with River view and when we walked into the room the entryway had a strong urine smell but once we were in the main area it smelled ok and everything looked really clean and nice. The balcony was nice and the bed was comfortable. Parking was easy and the area seemed pretty safe. Breakfast was not good, juice was obviously watered down (more like the water dispensers had a little bit of juice in them) and there wasnt much selection and what was there was pretty bad (i recommend skipping breakfast). I recently stayed at a holiday inn and their breakfast was amazing when compared to this place. HOWEVER overall I did enjoy my stay and the price was great. The negatives were pretty minor when compared to the positives.

Room was simple but clean..loved the balcony but select top floor rooms if possible for more privacy (2nd floor was uncomfortable bc everyone can see in walking by and had a homeless guy laying down on the grass staring right into unit..we had to close curtains..he was there for hours and would not stop staring at us). Great for a one night quick stay over between destinations. A family checked in next door and baby cried all night which we did not sleep..gotta admit it was rough. Not impressed enough to stay again though..will try different options (next door) on our next trip. Not what I was expecting for the high rating this property held. Customer service was very nice which we appreciated.

We jumped at a chance to stay at another Oxford Suite hotel as our 1st experience was 5 star. This hotel did not disappoint with excellent customer service, great food options and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. I just wish Oxford Suites would expand their locations to different areas of the country!

The Oxford Suites located in downtown Spokane is wonderful. It's the best hotel in town. It's clean, welcoming and friendly. The staff is amazing. They work very hard to help in every way. The Bistro is friendly and well run. The food is fresh and delicious. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The rooms overlooking the river are especially appealing. The view is restful and calming. We love the Oxford Suites and never consider any other accommodations.

We didn’t make it to any of the evening happy hours but it was nice that was an option. Great location to hwys without hearing any hwy noise. Great location to river walk paths right from hotel and shops were short walk via the paths.

We arrived in town earlier than check-in, but the staff kindly and generously allowed us to check-in. We love the location of the Oxford Suites which is right next to the river walking trails and walkable to downtown Spokane.

Great stay, my niece was getting married at a property next door, my room was nicer, less expensive and came with breakfast and a cocktail and free parking. Will definitely stay again.

I checked in at 10:20pm on 11/12 and checked out at at 8:25am on the 13th. During this time I didn't interact with many staff, but the ones I did meet were very professional and courteous. The smile and efficiency of the night desk staff who checked me in at the end of a long day was much appreciated, as was the smile and warm welcome of the staff providing breakfast. The room was spotless.

We stayed two nights. Hotel was clean, although we saw employees loitering around the breakfast room…they were helpful if asked but could be more pleasant to recognize guests when passing.

Every surface In my room you could see finger prints on, all the mirrors had smears on, the fridge door had hand prints all over it, i got a sweet for one person cost me 600$ for 3 nights and they didnt even bring me xtra towels until i went and got them, i pulled out the hidea bed and there was just a mattress cover on it with huge stains and a pile of dirt on it there were big stains on couch, and for 200 a night they didnt even give me s river view and they charged me a extra 28$ for being 1 hour late to check out, i did use the gym that never gets clean some dropped there dirty kleenex by the treadmill and it was there every day i went in

The internet was troublesome. The front desk gave me an additional option to connect with but was equally frustrating. It would connect and then drop off. This is my only complaint. Beautiful room, quiet, comfortable.

Our room was fabulous! A gorgeous river view, a comfortable room and wonderful treats provided!! We couldn't ask for more! Breakfast was good, very family-oriented food offerings and the staff were on top of keeping the breakfast area clean for incoming guests. The bed was so comfy and the shower pleasantly hot :) Highly recommend.

We got a suite and it was great! I guess the only thing I would suggest is 2 king beds because the room was so large but the beds were pretty small feeling. But other than that, great place to stay! Awesome hot-tub, Sauna AND steam room! Also a free drink and snack when we checked in, we’ve stayed here in the past and will stay again!!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Oxford. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, the breakfast was fantastic, and the location is prime! I highly recommend getting a room with a river view balcony! The sunset view was peaceful and relaxing. If you are looking for a hotel that puts in the heart of Spokane, this is the place! The hotel sits right along the river walk and is a short stroll from the city's best sight seeing.

Buffet Breakfast sausages are burned and pastries are not good, no microwave to warm up food. But all workers were friendly.

The front staff was very accomedating on moving us to a quieter room.

We were in the family suite which was perfect for my family of 5. My kids loved the complimentary breakfast. My husband love the complimentary nightly drink. Parking was always full at night and kind of a pain. It wasn't as quiet as night as I would have liked, but we lived. It was nice that we could walk to riverfront park, and other places.

Rooms on the east side of the property get alot of noise from Division Street. Not the fault of the hotel.

Wonderful hotel. I have to give a shout out to the kitchen and bar staff. They were very accommodating both days that I was there. They would try their best to get you anything you needed.

Don’t like room configuration. Why put a the bathroom sink right opposite the bed. If one person gets up early and turns on the light or sink or both, it wakes the other person. Bad design. Also, you can hear everyone above and in the rooms next to you.

The staff is so very helpful and accommodating. They remembered my name by heart which was a pleasant surprise. I travel to this area each month for work, so I always stay in the same hotel. Home away from home in a sort:)

My family thoroughly enjoyed the stayed at Oxford in, the staffs are very attentive and friendly. Check-in process was smooth and quick. The pet friendly room that we booked is spacious, clean and well maintained. We love the having balcony option for our room because I can enjoy my evening tea and morning coffee with my dog there. Our son enjoy his morning pool time very much, love that you offer both steam and sauna along with Hot tub. Hot breakfast option was wonderful addition. Most importantly the location was great, and the value was definitely perfect! We certainly will consider staying here again.

We received excellent customer service from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out! Friendly, attentive, helpful and courteous staff and service. We had an issue with our tv and they were very prompt at working to resolve it, when it wasn’t able to be fixed then they resolved it. We observed all staff showing pride in their work and appreciate the great experience. We will be back!

The desk staff told us about the Bistro on site. We decided to go there for a light dinner. We found out that the kitchen was closed and no food was available.This was during the posted hours of operation. The waiter said he could heat up some chicken strips but couldn't prepare anything listed on the menu. We had to go into the city to eat.

Stayed here many times before. This time, the facility was dealing with staffing shortages and their hot water boilers failed. The system failed completely. 24 hours later we received Luke warm water. Main system was still awaiting repairs when we checked out. Management did a good job of informing about progress. A boiler preventative maintenance program should be considered.

We had a room right next to the lobby. So heard way more noise than if we had a room on another floor. Also, the second night we stayed there was no hot water at all. The

The room was spacious except the bathroom was a little tight. The bed and bedding was comfortable. There were plenty of outlets to charge devices and the lighting was good.
