I loved how close it was to everything and how beautiful it was inside That we had to pay for valet when we didn’t use the valet

Pay the extra for the breakfast. Well worth it. And don't forget complimentary social hour drinks at the bar.

I stay here every time I’m in Spokane. The rooms are nice. The bed is comfy and it’s located in a great convenient spot.

It was very nice and clean. Big bathroom, nice shower. Sometimes I needed the AC but it got cold, I was able to put it warmer but the air blowing at night was not comfortable. The temperature was hard to control.

Very clean and in a great location, and the room was spacious. The room didn't have a fridge, which most places have at a minimum, so you couldn't even keep water cold or have any kind of leftovers. A little disappointing.

The vibe and cleanliness was great! The valet attendants were kind and professional. Beds were extremely comfortable and old school decor was amazing. The front desk lady could have been a bit more personable or kinder.

I loved the vintage feel of the hotel. The room was great. Comfortable bed and lux bathroom. Staff was great except in the restaurant. There the service was very slow. Overall a great experience.

This hotel charming and right in the middle of everything. The staff was so kind and the bellmen were exceptional.

I’ve tried to stayed here twice now. Both times it was incredibly loud inside the rooms.

Excellent location, great service, friendly staff

Great room and service, breakfast is not worth the price in my opinion.

- 5/5
Super cool!
- 5/5
Wonderful stay! Will always book a room at Hotel Indigo when in Spokane.
- 5/5
Room was spotless, comfortable and surprisingly spacious. Great location for walking downtown to grab drinks or dinner. We will absolutely stay again.
- 4/5
Cool place
- 5/5
One thing to be aware of is that the parking around the hotel felt a bit sketchy and was not ideal to overnight park. Because of that, we decided to use the valet service, which was absolutely worth the money and made us feel much more comfortable. Super pleasant and memorable stay. We would definitely recommend staying here and will return again!
- 5/5
Hotel was great, beds comfortable, drinks and and desserts amazing at the restaurant/bar. Staff very nice and helpful. We never had to wait long for our car from valet. It’s super cute and we would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
The check in went smoothly snff do the staff was very helpful, friendly , and courteous. The room was clean, spacious and attractive.
- 5/5
Great service and location!
- 5/5
Friendly staff and very clean.
- 5/5
Excellent staff!!! Nyla remembers us every time we stay here (when she’s working). Nyla and her coworkers are always exceptionally friendly, helpful, professional! We love staying here
- 5/5
The staff was soooo nice to talk to! I think there was a girl named Neva or Nyla and she was so friendly and sweet.
- 4/5
The room was clean. This is an older building that has been renovated so it is a little quirky. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was a little short staffed for breakfast but we were not in a hurry, so it was OK.
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful, friendly and checked in several times to make sure we had everything needed for a comfortable stay.
- 5/5
Very clean, comfortable
- 5/5
Everything was amazing
- 5/5
The staff is absolutely amazing! They always take excellent care of us when we stay!
- 5/5
The building is unique and interesting. The room was beautiful! The shower was great. Bed comfy with nice bedding. Convenient location to most bars and downtown activities! Parking was a bit frustrating, and valet costed extra. Staff were all kind and informative, professional. A great experience.
- 5/5
Helpful and very friendly staff. The rooms and decor of the whole building were super cute, not to mention super clean. Overall loved the stay.
- 5/5
Great location. Hotel was beautiful and preserved much of the cities history. Will definitely stay again.
- 5/5
We love staying here. The location is perfect for walking around downtown
- 5/5
The staff was kind & the valets took care of our vehicle just right. We will come back!
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean as were the rooms. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The food at the restaurant was excellent.
- 3/5
Place was clean but bed was not comfortable and doors were slamming in the hallway at 2am. No parking on site too.
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 5/5
The experience at Hotel Indigo in downtown Spokane, WA from check in to check out was excellent! The room was ready early and felt like a vintage, cozy cottage, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel breakfast and dinner were delicious. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Great hotel with friendly staff. I really like the way Spokane is revitalizing the downtown area, and the Hotel Indigo is part of this. It occupies an older building that has been completely modernized. The hotel is clean, safe, quiet, and within walking distance of restaurants, bars, Riverfront Park and other entertainment venues. I love going to Spokane and catching a show with my wife at The Bing Crosby Theater, "The Bing." The Hotel Indigo is only three blocks from the theater making a perfect place to stay if you want to catch a show and need a place to stay. I definitely will be returning to this hotel.
- 5/5
The bed was soft and allowed me to sleep comfortably.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly. Bathroom was larger than most. Would defi itely stay here again
- 5/5
It’s a great hotel. Wish there’s wasn’t as much homeless and a weed shop underneath but aside from that. Really outstanding hotel and staff
- 5/5
Good location to walk around downtown. Close to shopping and restaurants
- 5/5
The hotel is newly renovated, clean and comfortable
- 4/5
I can’t say it was unsafe area because we were only there 1 night and don’t know much about Spokane. But we chose to do $30 valet parking (plus $10 tip) due to the transient environment around hotel. Wish the room had a fridge since we were traveling 3 weeks with our snacks / lunch food for hiking.
- 4/5
Staff was really nice , valet was great! There is limited parking for valet to take vehicle . Customer service was super good!!! Would book again. Room was very clean!
- 3/5
Nice rooms and hotel..but outside you dont feel.safe.at all
- 5/5
I would stay here again hands down. Bed was very comfortable, good sized room, very clean. Bathroom was great. My only complaint was the lack of street parking, especially for a large truck. But I loved this hotel.
- 5/5
Awesome staff! Comfortable, clean rooms and great beds! And dod friendly!! we love staying here
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Bed was super comfortable and a quiet area of town for sleeping!
- 5/5
Great location. Quick, overnight and very pleasant stay! On our list for the next trip through Spokane!
- 2/5
Unfortunately, there are no doors for the bathroom. In place of a door, they had a sliding piece of wood. Zero privacy or sound control. There was also no fan in the bathroom. On top of that, the electricity in our room went out 3 times before they finally moved us to another room. That room also had no door on the bathroom. The front desk was kind and helpful, but the lack of doors and electricity left us feeling disappointed.

- 5/5
A nice little boutique hotel in the center of Spokane. Nice bed and comfortable and spacious rooms.
- 5/5
I walked my dog one block up and one block down - passed transients sitting on the sidewalk or walking unsteadily, appearing stoned/drunk. I felt a little nervous as a woman staying alone in a city I didn't know. The other issue is, lack of parking unless I chose valet parking. The room itself was fine - clean and spacious. The front desk person was very courteous and helpful.
- 5/5
The staff and facilities are really great - love staying here every time I’m in Spokane
- 5/5
Great staff and property and dining was well maintained!
- 4/5
Beautiful building and rooms. Area around is a little sketchy.
- 5/5
My room was lovely. I arrived late and left early, so didn’t use much of the rest of the facility.
- 4/5
The train nearby woke me a few times.
- 4/5
The staff was great and the room was very nice and clean. It’s an older building with a maze-like layout. The parking situation was tricky. The loading zone was full so I had to circle the block several times waiting for a spot in the loading zone to open up. The only free parking is on the street at night and the neighborhood is rough at night.
- 3/5
Didn’t feel safe walking after dark. Had to drag our luggage quite an always because of no parking and Valet was busy.
- 5/5
Amazing, spacious room and bathroom.
- 5/5
It’sa beautiful hotel. History is honored and shared with guests. We loved our stay. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. We’ll be back.
- 5/5
Very nice and at a very reasonable price. Great staff and outstanding facilities.
- 5/5
Always very friendly and accommodating
- 5/5
Great place to stay, very nice!
- 5/5
The hotel staff was so friendly, easy walking distance to downtown restaurants, theater, concerts and shopping. The hotel has a cool, retro vibe. Would stay here again!
- 5/5

- 1/5
My room was DIRTY - dirty sheets, towels, and toilet. I alerted the hotel that the smell in my room was making me sick and the best they could do was refund half of my stay.
- 5/5
Did not like the homelessness in the area
- 3/5
Room and were very nice. It is in a very bad location. Lots homeless people in the area
- 5/5
Great downtown location. Modern style and easy valet parking (note: it is $30/day for the valet service).
- 5/5
This is a beautiful hotel. The staff was excellent. I would go back.
- 3/5
Limited parking. Right next to train, so noisy. Did not feel safe. So many other options available.
- 5/5
The clerk was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean and unique! I loved the bathroom!
- 4/5
Very stylish but was only there one night but I liked it. Very comfortable bed and very clean.
- 4/5
Good price, near water font park and city center. There are a lot of scenics and historical buildings nearby
- 5/5
Loved the hotel. It was nicely renovated. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area is so-so. Location is fantastic. Short walk to Riverfront Park and the mall, which is good. Must pass many homeless or drug addicts on the way to get there though. They seemed harmless, but one can never know.
- 5/5
Far away, this is probably the best hotel in Spokane, Washington. Cool historic vibe updated with moderate amenities. The staff is attentive and very professional. Sophia at the front desk and Harris, the valet, both fantastic and made my stay that much better. Additionally, the fitness room is modern and well maintained.
- 5/5
The front desk staff were always available and accommodating. I felt like I was staying in someone’s home as their special guest. Comfortable and inviting. Will definitely stay there again when I am in Spokane.
- 5/5
In the room was amazing staff was great the building was very clean and amazing inside.
- 5/5
I was very impressed with this hotel and the staff. Harris and Quinten were great at the valet parking and maintenance. The front staff was so welcoming and the overall feeling of the building was iconic.
- 5/5
We did hear the train periodically but it wasn't intrusive.
- 5/5
Great hotel, close to a lot. Great room, quiet and comfortable!
- 5/5
Hotel staff upon arrival was amazing!!!
- 5/5
We loved this hotel. The old time charm of the building, the fantastic staff and the excellent restaurant attached to it made this the perfect choice for us. The part of town is a little sketchy, but quiet and the hotel is safe and clean.
- 4/5
The hotel is nice.
- 2/5
Staff were nice. Location was okay. Bedsheets and pillow covers were dirty, found multiple areas with hairs and stains. Requested new sheets & covers, but condition was still the same. Very disappointed.
- 5/5
Older but renovated hotel. All was very good
- 2/5
WARNING - if you are not at least a Silver Elite member with IHG, you could get an inside room with essentially no window. In addition if you are in the wrong side of the building you will hear the train all night. Lastly, they give you ear plugs in the room because simply people walking in the room above you is crazy loud.
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable we stayed twice within 4 days and both times the staff were excellent friendly (they remembered us) and helpful! Only drawback is you have to pay $30 for parking, you could park on the street, but lots of sketchy people on the streets of Spokane. The parking is in a secured garage so worth the peace of mind since we had all our camping gear in the car. The other insider secret get a courtyard room it has no view but is cheaper and the views from our room the second night was let’s say a city scape and not worth the extra dough. Also if you love railroad history this building used to be a staff hotel for rail workers so every room has a wall depicting railroad history of Spokane!
- 4/5
The good, the employees were extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. Our room was fairly clean and spacious. The only downside is the trains that pass throughout the night. I did overlook that our room did not come with a fridge or a microwave, that is 100% my mistake for not noticing that beforehand. They do have a microwave in the lobby. The staff being so nice made up for the lack of amenities in our room.
- 5/5
Very clean, accommodating and great location.
- 4/5
Checkin and checkout nice. Have an elevator, with a troll to help pack you in and out and the garage fee is only 34.
- 5/5
Brings you back to the old days. Really clean throughout, and nice, roomy accommodations.
- 5/5
It was all good
- 5/5
Very comfortable
- 5/5
We have stayed here for many years and we have always gotten great d
- 5/5
Was pretty nice place, walking distance to lots of fun stuff
- 3/5
Not much really. But it smells nice
- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
I would put in a plea though for better pillows. They were too big and too hard.
- 5/5
This hotel has so much charm and style. It is reminiscent of the 20’s in the lobby but the rooms are large and well appointed. The staff was lovely and very accommodating. The dining room is very attractive and we went for breakfast but the new owners were on their honeymoon so the dining room was out of many things we wanted and our waitress felt very bad about it so she recommended a cute bakery down the street. I would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Enjoyed my stay
- 5/5
Entire staff was lovely, including the front desk, valet, bartender and waitress. We will be back next time we are in Spokane.
- 4/5
We’ve stayed at this property multiple times. Our room was not as clean as previous visits and the noise from the train seemed more frequent. I love the convenience of this property and closeness to our favorite restaurants and to the river walk. We will stay here again.
- 5/5
The staff is top shelf!!
- 5/5
Great service, clean room. Will def go back
- 5/5
Love it
- 5/5
The closet setup was a bit odd, as the hanging bar was in the wrong spot, so we weren’t able to hang clothes easily. But overall, everything else made up for it. The location is perfect for exploring downtown Spokane and the riverfront. There’s a super cool bar right across the street called Garden Party, where you can sip creative cocktails surrounded by plants. A few doors down is a gem of a resale shop called Echo, plus a great coffee shop and bakery nearby. Bonus: parking is free on the street after 7pm!
- 5/5
My only complaint is that I was on the second floor corner room and there was a bar or club under me which was quite loud music noise-but only until about 11:30 then it was quiet.
- 5/5
In a quiet spot very close to all the downtown fun
- 5/5
Nice clean hotel.
- 5/5
Check in was easy and plenty of parking though valet was so easy I recommend. Everyone was friendly, rooms are nice and it is very quiet.
- 4/5
Everyone was very helpful. The rooms/building is old. You are going to hear your neighbors. Everything is clean. Bar/restaurant had inconsistent hours. We were there with a group of friends and the bar closed at 8:00...on a weekend night. 🤔 No recycling that I could see. Gym was adequate. Older machines, one multi cable machine, 2 treads. One set of dumbbells.
- 5/5
I loved this hotel. It was updated, cute, the staff was so helpful and friendly. Thank you!
- 4/5
Area is questionable but the hotel was nice and clean
- 5/5
Friendly helpful staff, tasteful decoration, convenient for downtown.
- 4/5
I stayed at this property to attend the Washington State high school one B state championship for basketball. Rooms were very clean, not any extra amenities at the hotel, though. But dining was walkable. And it was walkable to go to the Spokane Arena to watch the games. And Uber to the airport. It’s only about 15 to 20 minutes.
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 4/5
The room was clean and very nicely updated. Beds were comfortable. Only downside is it is close to the train track and the noise from the hallway was a bit loud. Location in town was great for the entertainment district and the Garden Party bar/restaurant across the street was super cute. We would definitely book this hotel again as we come for business often.
- 5/5
The rooms were nice and location was perfect!
- 5/5
The young woman working at the front desk was amazing. We couldn’t have felt more welcome.
- 5/5
Nice staff, clean property. Walkable to local bars and the theater.
- 5/5
Beautiful room. Super nice front desk staff
- 4/5
Be sure valet parking doesn’t get added unnecessarily to your bill as happened to us.
- 4/5
We enjoyed out stay. We had a street side room and the exterior noise was significant most of the night.
- 5/5
It was lovely. An old building done very nicely. Good breakfast!
- 5/5
Great boutique hotel! Would definitely stay again!!
- 4/5
We enjoyed the spacious rooms and the charm of an older building. The lobby set up was very welcoming.
- 5/5
Love staying here
- 5/5
Nice location. Old school but stylish. Good staff.
- 5/5
Everything is always great when staying at this property!! Thanks again!
- 5/5
Beautiful property, love the room & location!
- 5/5
The Hotel Indego is our favorite hotel in Spokane. The rooms are spacious and have an upbeat fun feel. The hotel staff is wonderful and super welcoming. We usually travel with our Golden Retriever they adore him. Valet is easy and quick. Love, love staying here.
- 5/5
Had a wonderful time.
- 5/5
Wonderful check-in with a friendly and knowledgeable staff member. Beautiful room with a cozy feel. Easy valet parking option. We always love Indigos :)
- 4/5
My stay was good, I was there on a business trip. I prefer rooms with refrigerator and microwaves but overall it was good.
- 5/5
The front desk clerks were very professional and had great customer service. The hotel was quite and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.
