I am a fairly severe reviewer when it comes to hotels and this is one of the best properties I've stayed at in many years. The quality of the room was very good. Little damage and quite clean. Staff could have been friendlier, but weren't rude persay, just not overly kind either. I'm planning to stay again and really dig in on this review. Usually I'm not interested in a restay, so this is a happy change. Thank you, Spokane Valley!

Freshly cleaned rooms everyday with fresh linens. The hotel was lightly dated but obviously well cared for with staff and owners taking good care of it. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and parking was excellent. The free coffee wasn’t just good because it was free coffee it was very high quality as well. I will be coming back.

The shower stopped working after 2 showers (kids back to back) but the staff jumped to action and got it fixed fast. Breakfast was great and staff was excellent

We were celebrating a teen birthday with a large group. We were affordably accommodated and the rooms were clean and the pool hot tub and gym were loved by the entire group. The free breakfast was perfect, offering something for everyone's liking and there was plenty of free coffee in the rooms for Grandma to keep up with the energetic teens. At check out, car problems almost ruined the whole experience. Thanks to the thoughtful staff, especially Kari (sp?) from the breakfast crew (and a fellow guest who was an absolute Angel), the stressful situation was made easier to deal with. Things worked out fine, but the staff went above and beyond to make sure our group was well taken care of. Couldn't have asked for more. Will definitely recommend and stay again. Wonderful experience! More information in the rooms would be great. Something small that reminds guests of important times and property features. There's not much negative to say about our stay. All the kids had a great time ?

The pool had way to much chlorine in it burned our eyes and the beds left us in pain also felt the room was small. So the beds are way to hard and cheap.

As someone who has stayed here multiple times this time was such a let down. We pulled out the pullout bed and the sheet was not changed and covered in sta8ns. The tub had pubes all around it. Seemed someone cleaned in a hurry. Not a deal breaker, but hope they improve for next time.

Great accommodations and very friendly staff. Very clean room. Plus, got to bring our dog and she received treats and a toy at check in. Restaurant right next to hotel was great for dinner and breakfast at hotel was good. Had cookies/milk for guests at a Friday night manager’s reception. Would highly recommend. 😊

It was definitely impossible to use the hot tub without six annoying heathens minimum in the pool room no matter the hour. Wouldn't have thought there would be so many kids Valentine's weekend; I certainly hoped not.

The hotel is very noisey all night even at 2 am you could hear all sorts of banging and running around. Staff not helpful in finding any sort of solution.

Very nice property in a great location

The negatives: the WiFi is inconvenient and almost useless. You have to connect to it via a browser, not through your device settings, and it wouldn’t run any apps on a tablet, only the browser page. Since it’s just basic cable, I was hoping for decent WiFi so my disabled child could use his communication device iPad and also watch Disney+ on it, but I had to connect him using my hotspot from my phone instead so he was able to use his communication app seamlessly. Also unfriendly staff (one front desk worker was polite, the other was basically rude for no reason). The hot and cold knobs were switched, with hot being cold and cold being hot, which was confusing for the kids. The pullout bed didn’t have any bedding and when we went to ask for some the woman at the front desk was rude about it. The door to the pool room wasn’t working so we had to be let in by the front desk. The rinse off shower in the pool room also had the temperature knobs switched. The shampoo and conditioner pumps in the shower in our room were also switched, with shampoo or soap being in the conditioner pump. Overall, if you just need to sleep and have breakfast in the morning it’s not a bad spot. But if you have kids or rely on WiFi, maybe choose somewhere else.

Overall a nice hotel, but I disliked the bathroom layout. There was no night light or wall plug to plug one into in the toilet room and the light switch was on the outside of the toilet room, requiring the bathroom door to be open after turning on the light. So there is no way to see at night when using the toilet without the toilet light hitting the sink mirror and shining into the eyes of the other person trying to sleep. All I could do is put a night light at the sink and kept the toilet door open when using it, but the nightlight shone in my eyes in bed the entire night. Very annoying. So, suggestion: put a dimmer switch on the toilet room light so it can act as a low level nightlight at nighttime. Another suggestion: put a sign sticking out from the wall that says Elevator at each location, rather than only flat on the wall. Make it like the ice sign is.

Check in was fast and simple. Room was comfortable, other than finding a used tissue under night stand, and a blood stain on comforter. Breakfast had a lot of options! Quiet and convenient location.

The room was very clean. It felt comfy. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but the linen was crispy and clean. The walls are pretty thin and we could almost follow the neighbors conversation and the people above us were very heavy footed and woke up early, laughing around.

Professional and caring staff, from the front desk host to the breakfast buffet. Very comfortable bed and room, everything was clean. Hotel is located near a busy intersection by the freeway, so we heard a few loud train whistles and emergency vehicles but the bed was so comfortable we fell right back asleep!

We loved our stay. Warm complimentary cookies with milk in the lobby every evening 7-9pm, fresh ice water complimentary, great work out area, big room for a family of 6. And amazing breakfast with friendly kitchen ladies. Staff at front desk very helpful too. Games in the lobby by the fireplace for families:)

One of the nicest Holiday Inn's I have stayed in. Its well appointed the food court was very clean and the breakfast options were great. I did not know they had a pool which was a bummer but other then that. Great job!

Yes, the room was clean and bed was so so comfortable but it does not matter if the walls are paper thin with no acoustical dampening and people don't even try to keep the noise down. I would have gotten a better nights sleep in my truck.

Booked this 2 queen bed suite for 1 night with my kids to enjoy a short weekend in Spokane. The beds were super comfortable, the room was spacious and clean, and the included breakfast was decent. The kids really enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzzi, it was open for use until 11 pm. The pool water could use a cleaning although it was very chlorinated so wasn’t too worried. Great location, I recommend taking the back road between Spokane Valley and Northtown mall, so pretty.

Cleanest hotel and room we’ve been to on our trip! Hotel felt updated and well cared for. Service was great, I left my pillow in the room and the housekeeper ran into the parking lot with it!

I use this hotel for easy freeway access, and because they keep it clean. Some of the little things like the nightly snack and beverage on the house are a nice touch as well.

I would give these guys 10 stars if I could. Amazing service and amenities. My daughter left her tablet behind and they kept it safe for her and were more then accomidating throughout our stay. A

This place was perfect for my lil family with small kids. The staff was exceptionally helpful. Even found my daughters tablet and hung onto it for us so someone could come pick it up. They also were able to help accomidate my daughters late night hunger with offering of a banana and Muffin. The front desk was in my opinion over the top good service. We will stay there for sure again. We did notnswim but the pool looked very clean.

This is our favorite hotel to stay at when in Spokane. We have been coming to this area for over 10years, several times per year and this is the BEST HOTEL of ALL TIME! All staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is excellent. We also like the manager's nights and the pool! Keep up the good work...

Shower was broken and I could not shower at all. Kids were all over the hotel and the room above us kept jumping late into the night. I called the front desk 5 times about it before they stopped. Our beds were literally shaking from the people above us jumping and so I didn’t get to bed until after midnight. Absolutely horrible service and no running water in a room? It’s absolutely unacceptable.

Pros: The hotel is located right off of the exit 187 (I-90 E), 17 minutes away from downtown Spokane (for Seattle people that’s so close by). So I could avoid those too many homeless people in DT Spokane. Quiet neighborhood, parking lot is a lot, I can’t vouch for safety but I didn’t see or experience anything bad during stay. Staff are very cordial, helpful and friendly (I engaged with front office staff and dining room staff). Room was clean and tidy and has standard amenities. I stayed in first floor with one door accessible to the parking area - but no noises or disturbances. I was able to do my work while in the room. Bed was clean. I was able to rest both nights. Cons: There’s a trick on how to use the card key for doors. Is it because my room has access to parking lot so it takes certain ways to keep it safe and secure? We figured it out (staff and I worked it). The landline phone in my room didn’t seem to work. If I had a situation with my mobile phone, I’d have to walk to the front office for a help instead of call. No biggy but would’ve been better to remove it rather than sitting there for no purpose. Thank you

Door handle in the bathroom didn't lock and the handle was a bit wonky. Wasn't really a big deal so we just informed staff upon checkout. Good location. Nice breakfast. Pool was warm. Everything was clean, tidy, and looked new. The staff was friendly and helpful. The burger place across the parking lot was a tasty end to a long day. The bed was a little hard for my taste and even after adjusting the thermostat the room was a little warm for sleeping. The walls were very thin, thankfully we did not have any noisy neighbors but we could definitely hear anytime the people in the room above walked at all.

Only stayed one night, but it was easy to get to off the highway, staff was very nice and friendly, bed was comfortable - just what we needed.

Overall it was okay. I had issues with noise. You could hear the road noise during night which interrupted your sleep. The floor was squeaky so you could hear people upstairs moving early morning. Some of the toasts were mouldy for the breakfast

Please note this Hotel says it's dog friendly which means it is traveler unfriendly. Had dogs barking at all hours of the night so I was unable to get any sleep. When I complained I was told that this was a dog friendly hotel and that I had to put up with it. Was very disappointed and will never stay here again.

The extra amenities at this hotel are wonderful, besides that fact that it’s clean and modern. After being on vacation for 2 weeks I was glad to find a washer/dryer near my hotel room! Breakfast was a full breakfast (not just continental breakfast.) The pool and hot tub were open til 11. There is an office area with access to a computer and printer at no charge . Fresh baked cookies every night !! Free beer/wine and appetizers Mon-Wed at Happy Hour. I’d definitely stay here again!!
