We booked a room with a river view and were so pleased. The location was great to enjoy the river walk. The hotel’s restaurant had a wonderful salad and friendly wait staff. Only areas of improvement might be the slightly loud air conditioner and a somewhat confusing parking process.

The "street side" of the property was very loud with street noise (cars, motorcycles, etc..). My wife had a hard time sleeping until about 2:30 am. The staff were very nice and the beds were great!

The room was ok, carpet worn bad, bed had a dip in it, not comfortable at all. Worst part was that when I went to make coffee, the coffee maker was dirty and the liquid creamer was actually curdled and I had to dump out my coffee. Probably one of the worst stays I’ve had at a doubletree or Hilton property. I won’t be back, even after the remodel is finished.

Checked in on Sat May 16. Our 1st room toilet wouldn't flush. Took the top off & the latch inside kept coming off everytime you'd try to flush. Went to call the front desk, phone was unplugged. Then the buttons didn't work for front desk. Went down to ask for another room. 2nd room was same style room but the shower tub paint was literally peeling completely off as we were looking at it. Phone worked this time, called for a new room. They said all they have in the same style is accessibility room & all the others are dirty. Checked out the room & decited no. They ended up giving us a smaller room which had no problems & $50 to the hotel restaurant which we got fries & brussel sprouts that were both completely burnt. Wasn't a good experience TBH. Especially for a Hilton.... Oh also the panel for the seperated elevator is falling off & the lighting in the rooms suck. No ceiling lights?!?

So I get to my room a day late I have reservations for two nights and I show up the didn't offer any kind of discount which it's understandable cuz I screwed up not them the place was extremely expensive I thought cuz you have to pay $35 for parking the worst part about it was I couldn't figure out what the smell was so I'm laying there at midnight just trying to go to sleep but the smell just keeps bothering me so I had to get up look all over the room find out there's rotten meat in the fridge then the coffee thing is not been emptied pretty gross kind of upset about that so I go downstairs and I'm expecting them to give me a discount apologize big time because that's disgusting I mean I had to smell that rotten meat all day and now it's one in the morning I'm really tired the guy doesn't even believe me he has long hair he's a young kid it's just rude he says well you can wait for 30 minutes while the maintenance man gets back here and he'll change out the fridge for you I said I don't want to be woken up in 30 minutes you please need to fix this now give me a new room or something and so he's like okay I'll make you change rooms like five hours up so I have to move all my stuff don't get done till 2:30 in the morning and he doesn't even offer me anything besides of room change which you would expect but what he does is he has somebody come up because he doesn't believe me just to verify that it smells like rotten meat thanks for everything I would expect more from a Hilton hotel

Our stay was during a remodel, so there was a lot of construction and loud noise. Unfortunately, it detracted from our stay. We have stayed at this hotel before, however, and it is very nice and a great location for Bloomsday. We will stay there again, hopefully next time they’ll be finished with their remodel.

The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The shower was probably the highlight because the water pressure was good and it was hot. We saw promotions everywhere about warm cookies upon arrival, we were offered and given 0. We were looking forward to the hot tub which was out of order. There were no towels in the pool area, called the front desk asking if some could be brought out so that we didn’t drip water all over the floors, 20 minutes later still no towels. I would suggest taking your room towel just in case.

Clean room with comfortable beds. Hotel is in a convenient location. Front desk was super helpful to resolve our only issue for parking. At check in we weren't told we are automatically charged to park, so we paid for parking in the garage that was unable to be canceled. The young lady who assisted in the morning was helpful and removed the hotels parking fee to offset. Has a bar with restaurant on site that was open until midnight. They have a large selection for breakfast that is available to purchase and have a coffee shop on site.

Really great location and nice parking garage. You can walk from here to the stadium and downtown, but it’s not the best part of town and it’s also quite far to some of the shopping areas. Having to pay for parking was extremely expensive at $30 a car. I had two cars and felt like $60 extra just to park in an empty parking. Garage was outrageous.

Loved the location and the layout of the hotel and its rooms. The size was amazing too! Everything is dated and close to falling apart. It smelt a touch musty. Like it was cleaned but there was a smell to it. The beds were some of the most uncomfortable we’ve had at a hotel. We were very disappointed for the price we paid the state of decline the rooms were in.

I've stayed at this hotel a lot over the years and have always been pleased. The restaurant prices are really high but I'm still getting used to that. My spouse has mobility issues so the convenience was helpful. Parking garage is also a plus. Better instructions as to where all the amenities are. A booklet in the room would help. Also a printed guide to the TV stations would be nice. Also a weather protected walkway to the nextdoor venue would really be nice.

The check in was easy and we were greeted with a warm cookie. Really cool area with a very long trail going along the river at the back of the property. Great place for a jog or long walk to check out the city. The property advertising that electric car charging is available on site. The property has one charging station in a parking garage that holds hundreds of cars (several levels). You will most likely find the charger being used and won't free up for quite some time as it is a very slow charger. Would love to see the property invest in some high-speed charging stations.

It only got worse from here and I am not a person that usually complains. Hotel just needs to be upgraded and or updated. Starts with the beds which sag to the middle by minimum of 4 inches with was horrible for my back, I even rotated the bed just to make it bearable the second night. Hotel really shows considerable wear, chairs cracking in restaurants drains in shower not draining, water in shower not hot.... just disappointing all around.

I keep getting notifications, asking me how breakfast was? I didn’t know there was a breakfast, I knew there was a restaurant down there, but I didn’t get anything about whether that was a continental breakfast or what. The hotel itself is nice, but the parking is a little ridiculous. If I’m paying after taxes over $30 a night, I expect there to be a tenant there. The way they have their parking set up, anybody can go in there and hang out, and it’s so far away from the hotel that when you’re walking back to the hotel late at night, it is very unsafe. And I really began to wonder how safe my car was.

That was a pretty rough trip. If you are traveling with anybody that is elderly and or disabled, do not stay here! They have ine 15 minute handicap parking spot in the parking lot. The rest of the time they expect you to park in their garage, which the staff themselves told me it’s a pretty far walk. So unless you have a wheelchair do not take a disabled or elderly person here! There was a male staff at night, tall and glasses, the only staff that was helping me with my disabled person that was with me and the parking issue.

Our experience was okay. Some staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, and a couple of them, not so much. The room was okay except that the refrigerator wasn't cool enough. A person from the tech staff came to our room to fix it, but it didn't change after he left. Some things we had put in it had to be thrown away. The property is a nice property with convenient parking. There isn't much nearby in the way of restaurants. It also isn't the best area to be walking by yourself, especially at night. Would we stay there again? Probably. We've stayed there on each visit to Spokane for each of the past 3 years. Some visits are better than others.

The beds are the best part of this hotel. I have stayed here before, and the walls and floors are thin, so be ready to hear everything that is going on outside. Or if you have a very boisterous neighbor. The staff is great, I have yet to try the restaurants. The pool is outside but gated. Parking is simple next door at the convention center. Easy walkability to restaurants downtown via the sidewalk or riverwalk trail. River Park Square is in short walking distance (closes at 7pm) and is a fun upscale mall.

The staff was super friendly and room was comfortable and clean with an awesome view. Walls were too thin in our room. We were on the 12th floor with a room with a connecting door to the next room. We could hear EVERYTHING in the next room ... EVERYTHING. Our neighbors were up all night unfortunately. Other than that it was a great stop.

We arrived about 3:00 n the afternoon. We went in our room and it was 80 degrees and really hot. After running the air for 2 hours no temp change. Called and they sent up the building engineer who was very cocky and told us he didn’t mind it being warm. Eventually after our second call we got a fan. Too much work to stay here…

Property is very outdated. Needs a total over haul. Also I will never book another trip through Expedia again or book anything with Hilton. I had to change reservations. Did not realize if I cancelled and rebooked - the original reservation would not be refunded. We ended up paying double for the rooms and they were certainly not worth it.

I specifically said i want a view to the river/fireworks. I was assured I would have this multiple times leading up to July (i calld at least 3 times in the months prior and receptionist said its a good room). That was not the case. The day before 4th i called to confirm everything again, make sure we were good to go with river view room any extra payments, etc...and confirmed we were ok to check in at 4 on the 4th. The receptionist was rude/ seemed cold and non confirming of a decent firework /river view. Only said "i cant guarantee you can see fireworks as we dont know where fireworks will be set off".. I had to question her several times if we even had a river view room because she seemed to of "not heard" this question and /or disregarded /dodged question completley. She said we were paid and good to go to check in at 4 on the 4th. This was not the case. I didnt know we had to pay an additional yet seperate security deposit for damages. Maybe its my fault i didnt see this in the fine print somewhere but still i should have been told this at least once from one of the receptionost /staff members when i called multiple times. It was evident i was cluless and I was clear with communicating how ive never reserved a hotel room and didnt understand the process. Then the room..... It was the worst view of a side portion of the river and park. Room was not stocked.. i had to ask for

We were only there for a night and basically just to sleep and shower. The people were great. The elevator situation, however, was ridiculous. Even at 11pm when we returned, it was chaos. When I asked where the stairs were so we could walk to our 6th floor room, we were told that there was no access “for the safety of our guests” at night. E aureus about 15 min for an elevator.

I’ve never stayed in a hotel that you could hear the people in the hallway so clearly at all hours of the night. Room was relatively clean. The wallpaper in the room had numerous stained areas. Bed was on the firmer side but fairly comfortable. Overall, if I had to, I would stay again. It won’t be my first choice when back to Spokane though.

Very dismal feel. Low popcorn ceilings throughout. Hilton has put itself on par with motel 6 and econolodge. At least the parking was expensive. Who dosen't offer a smart TV today? No Netflix? On a positive note. At check in, they did offer us a warm chocolate chip cookie and that turned out to be the high point of the stay. It may be time to demo the DoubleTree.
