Staying at the Best Western in downtown Spokane was very nice. They have recently renovated, our room was spotless, and the staff was great. The only disappointing thing was the street noise... not the hotel's fault. It must be the teenage cruising street.

I booked this hotel for the night before a major surgery because I needed to stay close to the hospital. Unfortunately, the environment felt extremely unsafe. There were multiple people lingering around the parking lot who appeared to be casing cars, and several guests looked visibly uncomfortable because of it. The atmosphere around the property made it feel very unsafe to stay the night. Because of this, I ended up leaving and driving all the way home instead of staying. That meant I had to turn around and drive all the way back to the hospital first thing in the morning before surgery. As a cancer patient preparing for a major procedure, the last thing I needed was additional stress and worry about safety. It was incredibly disappointing to lose $170 on a room I didn’t feel safe enough to use. I truly hope management addresses the security and safety concerns around the property so future guests don’t have the same experience.

Waffles but sadly without the strawberries and whipped cream. It’s on a one way street right across from the Convention Center but no fast food within walking distance.

What I’ve grown accustom at this location. Good location and good breakfast but a rude and dismissive front desk staff member (multiple trips, same person) has soured me here. Breakfast staff, cleaning staff and other front desk members were friendly, but a case of one spoiled Apple ruins the bunch.

We had a single nigt stay with an early departure to get to my Mom who was placed on Hospice. When the woman at the check-in heard about our situation she upgraded our parking to the indoor garage for free, so that our car would not need to defrost in the morning. Kind people rule!

Everything was great like always. We travel with 3 little ones. Our room was really spacious to accommodate room for them to move around in. We had a great stay!

Outside looks a lil sketch but the inside is not . Rooms were clean lobby was welcoming and breakfast was great .

At 420p staff was not present to check me in for 20 minutes. Again at 830p staff was not present for assistance and needed to wait again.

It was good. The fridge in our room was broken though and I told the front desk about it a few times and they didn’t do anything about it so I had to get ice from the ice machine so my food didn’t spoil.

Although sometimes there was traffic noise I never heard other noise through the walls. There was a hot breakfast with the best scrambled eggs I have had in a buffet. They had sausage links, ham, waffles, cereal, yogurt, muffins and they all tasted great. Behind the hotel is a Main Market (I think that is the name) Co-op open to all. It had great selection of produce, fresh bakery goods, great brownies, salad, aisles and aisles of canned goods and a small selection of wine with twist tops. We walked a few blocks to riverfront park and rode the skyride which was enjoyable. Great location for hotel.

The cherry tree blossoms on the grounds, at the enterance, were stunning. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast offered adequate choices of hot and cold foods. Staff were friendly. Some traffic noise was heard but not bad. Very convenient to the theater where we were attending a musical.

They were so noisy, and up past 2 am. Then at 7:30 in the morning you could hear them throwing up in the washroom. So the ceiling isn’t that insulated.

Only downside is the noise from the road as our room faced the convention center and cars were racing pretty late into the evening… also, recommend a room not near the stairs as the stair noise is loud.

Avoid. Street racing at night around the hotel was extremely noisy. Sound transfer between floors was unacceptable, sounded like floor above was about to collapse.

My daughters and I came in for an event at the convention center. Best Western was close enough to be able to walk there, and to River Park Square, other nice stores and places to eat. You could hear some street noise while in the room. But with it being right down town, that shouldn’t be a surprise.

Stayed here so it seven times now, always a very consistent hotel, convenient location and good value for dollar. One thing id suggest for light sleepers though - ask to have your room facing Spokane Falls Blvd as both nights we heard drum noise coming from either a bar of the apartments off of the back laneway. Not a major issue, but could be for light sleepers.

Our favorite place to stay in Spokane. The front desk staff, especially NICK, are all very helpful in getting us the room we want. We love the Main Market next door and always make their Salad Bar a take-out dinner at least once. And we walked two blocks to our favorite restaurant (The Italian Kitchen) for dinner. (Locked the dog in the car, of course and felt safe doing so). Nice having a frig and micro in the room. We prefer the rooms on the north side, with the balcony, so we can keep an eye on our car at night (it doesn’t fit in the garage). Did not get this this time, but hopefully again next trip.

The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet area, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the room cleanliness was disappointing. During our three-day stay, it was only cleaned once, and the bathroom amenities like shampoo and shower gel were left empty and never replenished. While the stay was generally okay, better attention to cleaning is definitely needed.

We were not impressed at the reception lady’s attitude and demeanour. We booked a balcony room but was very disappointed - the room itself was well decorated & the bed comfy but the balcony door had a broom handle in the runner and the view was of the back of a billboard / main road & an empty lot next door that had homeless sleeping in it. Outside the front on the main road there were homeless begging at the traffic lights, I saw one asleep in the bushes by the secondary door that you have to use when the main doors are locked (after 8pm) - staff advised that if going downtown be aware of the homeless as some can be violent (the local TV news were saying a new police initiative was starting the next week re downtown violence). The location was ok for the conference centre & downtown but you have to be wary when walking around. The photos on Hotels.com look really good but they don’t show the view from the balcony - overall very disappointing!!

Easy walk to First Interstate Center for the Arts and surrounding restaurants. Breakfast was hot and delicious. There was a gentleman checking and restocking regularly. Parking outside of hotel is free and the underground parking garage is $15 per night. Room was clean, smelled good, bathroom was spotless. Organic toiletries are provided. Water ran hot immediately on the top floor.

Location was perfect (we were seeing a Broadway show on a Saturday night. We were in the front of the building, 3rd floor, about above the checkin entrance. Maybe because it was a Saturday night, and maybe because I’m a light sleeper, but about 11 pm when I was trying to wind down it seemed like there were cars vrooming down the street in front of the hotel, like every 5 minutes. That was my only complaint. But because quality sleep is important, I gave my overall score a 3….

Located within easy walking distance of downtown Spokane this is a great hotel. Breakfast daily was plentiful and tasty. Rooms were large. Only complaint was uncomfortable pillows. Fresh cookies in the evening served warm. Yum yum.

I could not find the "plus" in this Best Western Plus. It was so-so lodging in a location good for access to riverside walks in Spokane. Clean room, comfortable bed, dated atmostphere bordering on dreary. The counter space around the bathroom sink was too small for me to spread out my stuff, particularly with that being the place for the coffee maker. The employee working in the breakfast area was pleasant and helpful.

The hotel itself is lovely but having to pay extra to keep your vehicle safe is a bit unnerving. Plus, outside traffic is horrible. All night long cars are drag racing. And it sounded like there was a garbage pick up at 1 am!

The property was ok for the price. The rooms were clean and it looked like it was renovated recently. The surrounding area was sketchy and paid extra to park my car in the garage. It was noisy at night and with thin walls you could hear what was going on in hallway and outside.

A few bars and several good restaurants within walking distance. Enjoyed the nightlife. A lot of transients, but still felt safe. Hotel staff very nice. Stayed in a suite, good size, clean. Would stay here again.

This Hotel was compassionate and swift enough to prepare an early check-in for a mother and child in a crisis. Their breakfast is amazing and even the maids we spoke with loved working there.

The room was very comfortable and was up to date. Until about midnight the street noise was annoying, but the hotel is located at the busiest intersection downtown.
