The first room we were

Upon arrival the front desk staff barely spoke English. We stayed for 3 nights, and every single day, we left the motel and when we returned and waited for the elevator and went to the third floor and walked down the hall to our room, our room key didn't work. This was very inconvenient. We have never had this happen in the past at Choice Hotels. We never had our garbage emptied or any room service, of any type during our entire stay. Never came to our room, offered clean towels, nothing. When we asked the front desk staff for plastic forks, as we had purchased some fruit for our room, they acted like it was an imposition. Also, 6 of the electrical outlets did not work. The refrigerator was off when we arrived, and had defrosted, so there was water laying in the freezer part, this was due to the electrical outlet not working. Also, couldn't operate the coffee pot, as the electrical outlet didn't work, sent maintenance, he brought a new machine and discovered the outlets didn't work, so solution was to move the pot over the sink to use it. Are you kidding me? We will not stay here again. I would give them an overall rating of between 2 to 3 stars.

The property is older and run down. Bathroom was very poor, shower was not that cleanse and caulking was rusty looking. Trying to check inn the desk clerk was more concerned with talking to someone on the phone about his car getting repaired. I would not recommend anyone staying there and certainly would not stay the.

I stayed for 4 days 5/20-5/24. Upon arrival, my sheets were dirty, as well as the countertops, windows and shower floor. I asked for a new room and was unable to switch due to being “overbooked”. The ice machine on the 2nd floor did not work so I had to keep doing to the lobby for ice. EVERY SINGLE DAY my key card would stop working and I would have to go downstairs to reactivate it (and no it was no where near my phone to deactivate itself). The continental breakfast was not so continental..half cooked sausages and stale muffins. No complimentary waters in the rooms, although it is nice to have a mini fridge in the room. The mattress was very uncomfortable. I can feel every spring in my back and the frame of the bed in hallow and very noisy. I had to get an extra comforter just to add some extra comfort. Overall not a bad sleep for maybe a night or two but I wouldn’t do anything longer than that!

It was a peaceful stay. A housekeeper helped me understand how to get more towels.

The staff overnight was less than helpful and the day time staff was more worried about eating then checking us out. The hotel was run down, the carpet in our room was stained as well as the sheets

The staff was polite, helpful and friendly, he tried to help us by changing our room several times, one room we walked in and there was a roach crawling across the bed, the next room we tried the was a bed bug on the bed, sheets didn’t look clean and the window was broken and open, the third room was ok just a dead roach on the wall and the smell of drugs throughout the hallway smh!! By this time I was done and me and my family went to stay with other family for the night

Ok room, mold on and in the shower, I could not close the curtain all the way the first day breakfast was OK there was cold eggs and warm sausage not hot sausage the second day. The only choice we had for breakfast was cereal, milk, yogurt, different types of bread and juice. The coffee machine did not work. The staff working on Sunday was not very polite.

The entire hotel had a strong smell of marijuana, which made the environment uncomfortable. When I tried to check in, their system was down and they asked me to go get cash instead, which felt unprofessional and inconvenient. The parking situation was also concerning. The lot was crowded with people hanging around, smoking and drinking throughout the night. I did not feel comfortable leaving my car and had to check on it multiple times until around 4 am. Overall, I would not stay here again and would not recommend this property to others.

This property is not smoke free, super run down, the staff was extremely unhelpful, lock was broken, no mattress cover and mattress was yellow. The cigarette smell gave us all headaches. Super humid in the room.

Appeared clean at first glance but quickly realized it wasnt as clean as i thought. The staff was pretty friendly. The key cards kept not working so they would have to redo them. The lobby and parking lot was clean. It wasnt thw worst but i wont choose them again unfortunately. Also i was able to book 2 adults and 2 children to a 2 bed room and then when i arrived they informed me they only accept a MAXIMUM of 2 people per room, this makes this place not a family friendly hotel.

The manager is awful, bad, terrible. Racist. Rude. Disrespect person. I was charged the full security deposit for no reason at all. Ive currently got pending investigation with my bank to have returned as I was not rightfully charged not to mention it was not only charged my credit card but also my debit so it was unauthorized as well. This lady was the reason. Also she harassed myself and my husband till we left. This was by far the most terrible way to treat s guest, was I've worked this ins

Walking in smelled strongly of weed and cigarettes despite the "breath in" signs declaring no smoking everywhere. From there, it only got worse. The top bed decor and the blankets were both ripped and stained. I took those off the bed but pulled back the sheets to reveal pubic hairs in the sheets. I called downstairs and the desk clerk said she was drying her hair but would bring them up. She never brought them and wouldn't answer the desk phone anymore. I called multiple times throughout the evening before finally giving up. In the morning, we also called for towels and washclothes and no one answered. Usually we stay at cheap hotels when we are on the road traveling. And this one definitely qualified as that. However, this room was nice and clean, while I was short on towels and blankets, the front desk staff responded quickly. Best cheap hotel breakfast I've had in quite a while. Not a place you would go for a glamorous vacation, but definitely fits the bill if you're passing through.

You can tell they don’t clean the rooms. I had to request another room because of stains on the sheets. There was hair in the shower. I asked for more towels and was told they had to wash them first, and even when I got those, there was a stain on the towel. And the breakfast wasn’t appetizing either. It was a spur of the moment booking just to get through the winter storm. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Was rude when informed that light switch did not turn on any lights in the room. Yelled up from lobby that you have to walk into the DARK room and turn light on next to the bed. Light by TV did not work, did not offer to replace the bulb.

This hotel room was nasty. The carpet was so dirty. Staff was not the friendliest at check in. We have an emotional support dog that travels with us and even after verifying his ID they still charged us an additional $30.

The.carpet in our room was wet by the bed. It took a long time for the water in the room to get hot, and the toilet seat was partially broken. The breakfast area was not maintained food wise and minimal selection. Thr area was not clean either.

The guy at the desk tried to make me pay for my room even though I'd already paid for it in full online the bed was so hard and uncomfortable it was like sleeping on a cement slab then go downstairs to get coffee the next morning and their coffee machine is out of order so there was no way to get any coffee

It seemed to be recently renovated. I was just passing through and wanted to quit driving. I looked up the least expensive room. It was way nicer than some of the rooms I've stayed in recently. The spring mattress. I could feel them and when I went form laying to sitting you could hear and feel them. For the room price, I get the trade off, and am not complaining.

I reported this to the desk and was told they would mention it to management. I feel like management should have been called to the desk immediately. Also, the smoke detector was disabled. This was a one night stay on the way back from a 600 mile trip. It was a poor decision. Definitely not returning to such an unsafe place.

Clean Bed made terrible noise bc of the metal "bedskirt". Sounded like a dumpster was being dumped every time we moved on the bed. Scared the dog badly.

it was by restaurants and close to my daughters house the air didnt work good wires hanging from under it. the lights in the bathroom kept going off and mold around the shower. stains on the curtains than when the air went out the lights went out above the sink for 5 mins i will never stay here again

Nothing I was told to leave because they wanted the room for someone else. Won't stay there again. Wanting the room for someone else is ridiculous when I had already paid and they wouldn't give me my money back.

This hotel kept my $100 deposit without any notification for a bogus, made-up reason. They would not respond to my calls or emails about the issue and refused to provide any evidence or explanation to the charge. Just dishonest people

My main thing was the floors were very sticky in my room so I had to wear shoes walking around, it was decently clean but you could tell it wasn't an exceptional job by any means but if you are looking for a cheap place to stay that isn't absolutely horrible it's not a bad choice for a one-night stay, the front desk at least when I was there was friendly and helpful but overall an average hotel the hallway smelled bad but my room smelled okay

The sheets and pillow cases were okay. The carpet also needed a serious steam cleaning. Breakfast selections were limited. We weren't looking for 5-star by any means though, but a thorough cleaning would be great.

I like absolutely nothing about this motel because I didn’t stay there. It was an accidental purchase on the date they would not change it of course it was not refundable so basically I robbed for 81 bucks

We yelled back we’re here to one The banging got a lot louder police like. I opened the door and the man told us we had to get out. I told him we paid the extra $28 for the late stay. All we can say to future travelers is just NO!! This hotel is filthy. The smell of cigarettes and pot was nasty. The bathroom and shower were tiny and dirty. The bed was the most uncomfortable we’ve ever slept in. Front desk staff could use a class on customer service. Would never stay at another Sleep Inn.

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was below standard - The room was in poor condition, with dirty carpets, a very uncomfortable bed, and reeking weed. The staff showed little interest in resolving issues. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

I rarely write reviews. But on this particular property I will make an exception. My room smelled like azz and dog pizz. The water never got hot and the TV did not work. I felt like I should’ve asked the roaches for half of the bill. Don’t stay here unless you’re trying to live out a fantasy consisting of a cheap hooker and a flop house.

Sleep Inn was exactly what I needed, a bed in a sparse room for a good night’s sleep. The price was great!

However, my discomfort grew when I spotted the first bug crawling along the wall. Although I managed to remove it, I subsequently dealt with five additional bugs throughout the night. When I approached the front desk to address the issue, I encountered a language barrier, requiring the use of a translator. The staff member suggested that I speak with the manager the following morning, to which I agreed. The next day, I let my dog outside and, upon returning to the room, my wife discovered another bug on the wall. After reporting this, we were moved to an upstairs room. Unfortunately, within an hour of settling in, I found yet another bug behind the curtain. At this point, I was quite frustrated, and my wife was understandably upset. After attending an event, we returned to our room later that night, only to find a bug crawling up the bathroom wall as we prepared for showers. This experience has caused considerable stress, and although I tried to remain composed throughout, I cannot overlook the numerous issues encountered during this stay. Regrettably, I do not foresee returning in the future.

Very dirty. We left immediately. They said they credited my credit card but they did not when i check. I called Visa to have the charge remove. You should drop this place from your service.

This has got to be the nastiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in . It was stains all on & in the beds . Refrigerator disgusting . Floors disgusting. But due to the hurricane that was the only hotel available. They need to close for a week & really clean the whole hotel . They need to hire a cleaning agency. This hotel needs it badddd

We had roaches in our room. Baby roaches and big roaches. There was an atrocious smell and the carpet was dingy. It turned our socks black. The bathtub had built up soap scum. The cabinet had thick dust on top. There was no screen in the window. There was a fight in the hallway in the middle of the night and nobody to break it up.

First room was filthy - coverlets stained and sheets dirty stained and wrinkled…second room was similar - ac unit had mold and dirt on it and beds were also stained but no human hair in them…kept room because it was 2am when we moved rooms. Lamps didn’t work on ceiling and desk top only light was mirror and between beds. The only redeeming thing about this stay was the front desk agent-she did her best to give us a clean room. She was embarrassed. She was there when we left at 8am and apologized again. Super nice girl.

I hate to leave such a horrible review but I feel that it’s right in this case so that people and families don’t ever have to go through what me and my 2 small daughters went through while we stayed here. The first room they gave me smelled like mildew, the curtains were filthy and the bed sheets were dirty. I asked for a better room and that was a little better. I’ve never seen so many roaches in my life especially in a hotel room. They were coming from behind the tv and our bed headboard. My experience was so bad that me and my daughters decided to leave at 2am in the morning after seeing and killing roaches. I told the front desk guy who was working and he asked for proof and that they never received any complaints. I showed him a roach I killed in a white napkin and that I had videos as well. I checked out at 2am early Sunday morning and was left traumatized from my stay at Sleep Inn. I hope to get my full refund but I’m here to warn people to never stay here.

Was great! The hotel was clean and well-kept. Not to far from the cinema movies, restaurants, and shopping. I would definitely stay at Sleep-In.

Photos were misleading, property looks up to date in photos but things like the drapes and shower curtain were so disgustingly dirty. Lots of things needing minor repairs. No shelf for anything the shower. Mold on the bathroom ceiling. Phone didn’t work. Carpet felt both sticky and slippery. Cleaning solution they use I can still smell on my clothes and I only stayed for 2 nights less than 48 hours.

I wanted a wheelchair accessible room, didn’t get one because the elevator was out. the ice machine, and vending machines were out. they did not do breakfast like on the description, people constantly banging on doors and yelling at 1am, and we checked out a night early.

The room was not clean. The pillows were stained, there was hair on the bed, and the room chair had a leg broken off of it.

Good location for the price paid.. it’s ideal for work travel teams.. a lot of workers in the hotel ..

It was clean, fairly quiet. The air conditioner was loud but worked great.

Never staying there again

It was extremely noisy. The walls were extremely thin. People were running up and down and screaming in the hallways and we could hear everything until about 2 o’clock in the morning. The blankets on the bed were stained, and I’m not even sure they have been ever cleaned. The pillows on the bed were also extremely uncomfortable. Luckily, we were only staying overnight. However, I probably would’ve spent $20 more to stay someplace a little bit nicer If I had known.

We arrived very late, at around 12:30 am, & the front desk staff was asleep behind the wall. After multiple attempts we were able to wake him up. He checked us in & when I checked my credit card statement it showed 2 charges. When I addressed this with the staff upon checkout in the morning, I was reassured that they only charged me for my room the one charge & was given a receipt for that charge. The following day I saw the extra charge was still on there in addition to another charge of $100. When I called & talked to the staff about what was happening I was told the same thing repeatedly as if the staff either didn't fully understand what I was saying or just didn't believe me so I ended the conversation & had to address it with my credit card company. I understand mistakes happen but to address this with the hotel & be met with a lack of trying to resolve the issue that was entirely their fault is very disappointing.

Great for a 1 night stay for a show. Room was very clean...you could smell the clean. Recently updated furniture. Mattresses made strange noises when laid on and whenever you moved but were fine.

There were no towels. They overcharged me for having puppies which they should have put on the thing that you'd have to pay to have them they told me the dirty towels to bring them back down to them and then they would give me clean towels. No housekeeping for 3 days p

The rooms were very old and dated. The carpet was disgusting and didn't look like it had seen a vacuum recently much less a shampoo. In my 3 day stay there was not a single piece of linen that was not stained. I never did get any kind of housekeeping service, even when I specifically asked for it on the second day. The only redeeming quality was that the mattress was at least comfortable.

The air condioner didn't work. Had to change rooms. The TV isn't working. It has one station. Won't change stations. The commode is leaking and is running constantly. Can hardly wait for breakfast. Desk clerk is trying to fix everything. It's not her fault.

This hotel is a good option if the price is right. It’s by no means a luxurious stay but it is comfortable and convenient to the highway and several food options. The location is behind a mechanic shop. My only issue was the towels were stained and the duvet was dirty.

Check in was great...the elevator could definitely use some work. Its extremely slow, and the the carpet needs replaced in halls and rooms. Overall it was good for an overnight stay, just needs updated.

Staffing is horrible. They also took my deposit for a makeup stain. An said i had yo pay for them to wash it out never have i ever ben charged for sheets that had to get washed regardless....

Room size was great, but the rug was dirty. The room smelled horrible. I couldn’t breathe. The mattress was terrible, we barely rested. Its a shame because the space had potential. The elevator stopped working twice, so we decided to use the stairs. The hotel was dirty overall, so we decided to not even go to breakfast since we didn’t trust the hotel at all. You guys have potential, you are in need of a manager that cares for cleanliness. Oh I forgot to mention that the sheets were so wrinkled that I thought they weren’t washed and dried, but we smelled them and they smelled clean. You should not rate the hotel with 2 stars. Thisis a one star hotel. Oh I had to get product myself and clean the toilet as it was so dirty. The worst experience ever.
