Dirty broken down place without any on site front desk staff. They only have remote staff seen on monitors sitting India or some other country. Actual hotel looks nothing like the pics. It is dirty!!!

Location was convenient, room was spacious, bed was comfortable. Toilet didn't flush. We only had one towel---ONE TOWEL! The coffee pot had not been cleaned and a used coffee packet was still in the coffee maker. Since we didn't get to the hotel until around 11:00, there wasn't much I could do about it, especially since check-in was good a space-age machine. When I told the manager in the morning, he said he would "look into it." I thought he might offer a partial credit on our bill, but he didn't.

They had a good breakfast options. Hot water for shower all the time. comfortable bed, Cigarette smoke smell in the hallways all the time. Lucky it didn't seep into the room.

Room was filthy! I had to call and get a broom and mop and wash to clean . There was hair all over stains all over floor. There was loudness all though the hall way No direct person to speak to. Was told I was going to get a discount and did not.

It was close to my event. I am requesting a refund of $83.25 for my stay at Quality Inn, 6690 Pottery Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303, from May 9, 2026, to May 10, 2026. Unfortunately, the condition of the room was unacceptable and did not reflect reasonable cleanliness or guest standards. Upon arrival, I discovered used soap left in the bathtub from a previous guest, which immediately raised concerns regarding the sanitation of the room. Additionally, there was a previously used towel hanging on the bathroom door, the body wash container in the shower was completely empty, and there were holes in the bed sheets. These conditions caused disappointment and discomfort during my stay and did not meet the expectations of a clean and properly prepared hotel room. I have photographs documenting these issues and can provide them if needed. Because of the unsanitary and poorly maintained conditions, I respectfully request a full refund of the $83.25 charged for this stay. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I look forward to your response and a satisfactory resolution.

I have a service dog, I contacted the hotel when I made the reservation and provided the required information. At checkout in the staff did not want to check me in because they are not a pet friendly hotel. I stated my dog was a service dog, and told them it was preapproved, but I still got attitude for having a dog. When I got to the room, it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months, the sink was so nasty it had what looked like food or something from someone teeth and mouth, hair all over the sink and in the sink, not just stray hair either. The floors were very dirty, it was obvious they had not been sweeper or moped in a very long time. There were spots on the floor from were something had been spilt and never cleaned. It felt like I was given the dirtiest room because I had a service dog. I have stayed in some questionable places, but this has been the absolute worst. No customer service at all.

You check in via a computer and there is no staff at night. So, if people are running up and down the halls yelling, there is no one to stop them. Trust me! Also, there is no housekeeping. I hope you did not need a fresh towel or shampoo. We had none of either.

Because I never actually stayed in the room or used the accommodations, I requested a refund. The hotel refused, despite the room not matching my expectations based on the listing photos. Transparency matters when customers are booking a place to feel safe and comfortable. Guests should be fully aware of adjoining room setups before booking, especially when those details may influence someone’s decision to stay. I would encourage future guests to ask detailed questions beforehand and proceed carefully.

Very clean and reasonably priced. Had a kiosk for an attendant, also hard to understand at times .. Bring back real person !!!!!! People need one on one and in person not a screen.

The room was clean and staff was helpful. Our room smelled somewhat of smoke. Twice a cleaning lady tried to come in our room before checkout (like an hour before).

That was about it for the positives for this place, other than it kept the weather outside, outside. When you go to check in & they have a kiosk there to greet you & check you in ....not good. It would glitch & I couldn't hear it very well. Breakfast was cereal, muffins & waffles. The orange juice tasted bad & the milk was in a pitcher instead of cartons, I mention that for a reason. The furniture had stains ...... yeah, we will never stay at that location again. The entrance to get there isn't very people/car friendly as well, not on them, just to let others know.

Kiosk is horrible! It says you will be greeted by an employee at the front desk, no where does it say you have to deal with a kiosk for everything. It’s a nightmare to get someone in person to come and help you in the lobby. Rooms were okay for the most part, could have been cleaner. The walls and bed head rests need to be wiped down. The vents in the bathroom look as if they haven’t been cleaned in awhile. Outside reeked of pot, a lot of foot travelers walking through the parking lot. Wasn’t the best stay but wasn’t the worst either.

Nothing. Maybe the bed. The locks on the doors, the adjoining door Handel was loose, the bathroom floor was dirty, the microwave was dirty, there was no one in person making me feel less safe.

Bed bug in the bed, i have a picture of the bed bug that was crawling across the sheet over my chest, gave it to hotel staff in a plastic cup. Got told they didnt have bed bugs, after I showed them.....

This place is DISGUSTING! I didnt expect amenties, nor do I need them. Just a clean and safe place to stay. I always carry my clorox wipes and lysol when I travel. This is the worst I've ever seen. The floors weren't vacuumed or mopped. Crumbs and dust on the tv stand. Toilet FILTHY. Sink dirty... looked like a blood stain on the carpet. I used most of my clorox wipes. Plenty of lysol, and bathroom cleaner. I showed the manager, Sanjay Savalia pictures of the filth, he offered no apologies or compensation for the nastiness. He only offered a room change. I've already used most of my cleaning supplies. I'm not about to clean another damn room. Parking lot always had multiple men hanging around the entrance... Check in was simple and quick. We had an issue with the TV not working and the desk man quickly replaced it. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable.

The beds were clean but the walls were dirty especially in the bathroom. However we were there to sleep and move on to our next destination. Rest of bathroom was clean. Breakfast was cereal, waffles, coffee, juice, buffins and apples. Staff was pleasant.

In the room, the floor was sticky in spots, food/candy was on the floor in a few places. And I personally cleaned the toilet before using it, as there was residue remaining around the inside and outside of the bowl, and seat.

We went with Quality Inn because we usually have good service and experience with them. This hotel was ok, and the price was very reasonable. The room looked like they had done some renovations that were not completed. It really needed the walls repainted. It looked like they had been patched, but not repainted yet. Furniture looked a little tired, but functional. Bed was very comfortable.

It is an older Hotel, but better than expected. The room was clean and less expensive than ones down the interstate, i was suprised. My only complaint would be water pressure.

I mean to be positive, there was a breakfast (no meats) and the coffee out of the machine resembled coffee somehow, even though it put me right back to sleep after breakfast. Bed was decent enough, shower was decent enough and everything was clean enough but not OCD perfect. I had a hilariously bad check-in experience with the lady who was just so flat out rude that I thought maybe I was on candid camera. The Indian guys at the front very late were nice and helpful at least so they salvaged the stay, but I probably would not stay here nor recommend based on the lady that was totally nuts and on a personal call on speaker while at work

They allowed me to book a reservation at property that had NO power, internet, hot water, air conditioning. No one tried to contact me before I drove over three hours just to show up to a property with NO POWER.

I almost forgot to return my key card , but when I left for home I went back and dropped it off. My toilet kept running due to a loose flap. I fixed the flap, the toilet filled up again but in the morning was empty. It would not fill back up again.

I went out to my car at one point and one of the drunk men persisted to call out to me, approached me, even had one of his friends come over. He harassed me and made me feel unsafe. He wanted to come to my room. I told him no multiple times and went back to my room and stayed inside the rest of the night, with the door locked. I was traveling with my 3 kids and I was afraid to say something to the front desk and cause a scene. I just tried to blow it off, but it made me feel very uncomfortable.

We stayed at a quality inn in Spartanburg. The service was great however the hotel needs a good cleaning. I had to go to the store and get clorox wipes to clean our room.

We’ve stayed here multiple times before & haven’t had any problem. It’s a convenient location for what we need, comfortable, affordable. It’s a mediocre place. After this stay we won’t be back. Bathroom was gross, shorted on towels, front desk was hanging out on the couch half the time & our non smoking hallway smelled like pot.

Location was convenient and bed was comfortable, but sheets were stained and room was dirty. Fridge was nice and roomy but shelving was dry rotted and it leaked. The fan in the bathroom was extra loud and always came on when you turned on the light. Would not stay there again.

Friendly staff but the hotel needs to me updated badly. Looks like the smoke detectors are from 20 years ago. Tubs were older. Hallways had lots of esthetics that could have been done better

This property is NOT like it is described or pictured! The light didn’t work when we walked in, the heat was unplugged, the tv was unplugged and so was the clock. There was stuff all over the shower. There was shaving cream with hairs in it on the faucet. Smears of who only knows what all over the walls in the entire room. It was very dusty. I would not have stayed but I was alone with my two daughters. It was dark and I felt safer locked in our room than leaving. I did not sleep the entire night. It was so loud in the hallway. The room wasn’t thoroughly clean the linen is turning yellow. There’s an abandoned vacant building right next-door. I asked the front desk to give me a 3 AM wake up call that never happened.

Staff was abrupt and more concerned about the locals. The entire place smelled of cigarettes and pot. Our room was gross on every surface.

First room the pillows were soiled. The room deodorant spray was excessively strong, the light switch look like it had not been cleaned in a year. Mirrors were not cleaned, could see toothpaste splatter. Faucets was covered in buildup and ick. Door handle was dirty. Room has not been vacuumed or dusted. I asked for a clean room. Second room it smelled like a dog. The bathroom was in the same condition and noticed the walls had dried drips on the wall. I did not make it any further in the room to look. I could not stay there i had to ask for a refund. Even the elevator and lobby are over due for cleaning dirt and debris in every nock and corner. Grime hand prints everywhere not one window was clean. Staff was ok, not friendly but not rude. Manager did have issues giving me a printed receipt of the refund.

It was a non-smoking room that smelled like smoke. The wifi was very poor. TV selection was worst I’ve seen in hotels in many years.

Staff were efficient, professional. The facility was quite “worn down.” Room was not clean, towels were ancient, scratchy, discolored.

When I arrived with my son, the entryway was filled with people drinking, smoking cigarettes and weed. The receptionist made it seem like we were bothering her to check in. Asked why the deposit and a sign was shoved in my face. As for the room, the door would not shut unless slammed, the safety latch was barely hanging on, seemed to be a blood stain on the wall of the bathroom, vent in bathroom halfway hanging out, zero water pressure for the shower and controls were backwards, someone's shirt and empty beer can on window sill above ac unit. Very sketchy to go outside the hotel in the evenings. Seemed like these people were residents that lived at the hotel that would just party out front. Breakfast offered was very minimal. Worst hotel ever stayed at and safety for ones self was scary.

Newly rennovated, there was still a sticker on my bathtub! Room was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. Front desk staff were EXTREMELY friendly. There were a handful of restaraunts and a gas station within walking distance as long as you don't mind crossing a road, and the location is very close to the highway. I wish I could have stayed here on my return trip.

Stains on the comforter, gunk on the tv, loud and dirty. Would not stay here again.

Clean room but run down. We didn’t have a smoke detector in the room and told the front desk. The front desk said we were ok and it was part of the restoration. Coffee pot was dirty, hadHot/cold water on wrong sides. General cocking and general aesthetics messy or missing.

AC in lobby was broken, so lobby door was left open allowing anyone to enter hotel at any time of day. Gang activity in parking lot - vehicles parked and playing loud music, people around the vehicles drinking alcohol, yelling and loitering all around parking lot and near the front door to lobby.

Bathtub had not been cleaned. There was a dirty old label stuck to the bathtub. Also, the staff did not restock the breakfast food. I went down at 7:30a.m. and the juice was out, the cereal, muffins and bagels were sparce and not a single staff member in sight.

The service was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. Most everything was clean and in good condition. The carpet maybe could have been vacuumed better, but no real complaints. I was leaving before breakfast opened, but they turned on the juice and let me get some food early. They were so kind. I would definitely stay here again. Nothing fancy, but clean enough and very comfortable.

This facility is currently in the process of a remodel. There were construction products inside and out along with the general mess that comes with being in the process of a construction remodel. From what I could tell this will be a nice property when the remodel is complete but is a little on the messy side right now. The area around the property is more commercial than anything so not much in the way of food or entertainment. There were a couple of gas station/markets and a couple of fast food places. For a reasonably priced one night stay with no need for anything other than a place to sleep this was an okay stop that will ultimately be a fairly nice stop.

The Property was being renovated, the bed as as hard as a rock. I asked and received a second quilt which didn’t soften the bed. The bathroom was big and worked. The room was a good size as well. But the Bed if you could call it that was like a rock for me.

I liked that it served my need. I did not like that i was bothered 3 times the morning BEFORE my checkout asking when i was leaving. Reservation and the email confirmation clearly stated checkout Sunday morning. Did not like being bother 3 times saturday morning about checking out.
