Very clean and safe. Easy check in. Great beds and bedding. some noise from interstate right there. Wasn’t a big problem but might be worth trying to get a room across the hall. Overall great and clean and well maintained.

The was pleasant. The room was relatively updated. The carpets truly need to be shampooed and the elevator floor was gross with layers of dirt. The room was ok. There was a bug in the bathroom and the tub was cheaply resurfaced (there was a large patch that covered most of the tub bottom). The tub should just be repaired and the wall paper was pulling away from the wall. I don’t intend to stay here again.

Clean room …breakfast was there told me all the information I need to know. Everything worked air conditioning worked. Definitely will stay again next time I’m in town.

Stay would’ve been OK except for they charged two different credit cards for our length of stay. Pretty much impossible to get a hold of the manager to help the situation since he is never there. We also checked out early due to sickness, I had to contact Expedia to see about reimbursement for one night. They said they would get a hold of me within 48 hours and I have not heard from them either. Unless I hear back from somebody, I will definitely not use Expedia ever again. I’ve never had this problem with other 3rd party websites. Room was clean it’s a nice hotel,but not a $1400 for 4 nights hotel.

Good hotel option - as a frequent traveler, I wasn't sure what to expect. But the hotel was very clean. The only thing I would point out was that it was very noisy due to the proximity of the highway.

The stay was fine. Room was clean, the tub was a little old/dated. The breakfast was fine compared to other holiday inn express and suites that I've stayed at (this one only had pork sausage whereas others have had a turkey option). Overall decent.

Checking in was very smooth. Queen size room was clean and spacious for my family of three. Breakfast was delicious. Maybe add turkey based breakfast sausages along with pork sausages. I highly recommend. I will say again.

Came here with my 2 daughters for a dance competition. The hotel felt very safe and there was fast food restaurants nearby for late night dinner. Can’t comment on the pool as we didnt get time to use it. Breakfast was nice, my girls enjoyed the cinnamon rolls. Would stay here again for future competitions.

Clean rooms quiet atmosphere. Although when we first end arrived the reception staff indicated that no dogs were allowed. My dog is a service animal and I would not of booked the room if it was posted. She let him stay but commented that the dog was not a service animal?

Very nice hotel, clean and the people were very friendly. The down side was the breakfast. I was very disappointed that they only had pork options (link sausage and sausage gravy) also they didn’t have plain eggs (scrambled or hard boiled) they only had egg white omelets (with onions and pepper), my grandson would not eat the eggs with onions and peppers. My surprise was that the selection was catered toward select people and wasn’t a general selection that was more inclusive. When I asked did they have regular eggs either scrambled or hard boiled they said “only on Tuesdays”. I thought that was odd they wouldn’t offer that over a weekend versus a weekday. Overall I was pleased and would stay again, I would be prepared to get breakfast outside from the hotel.

The room we stayed in had a strange smell. But the room was clean. Staff very friendly and kind.

Nice place off of I 85.

The hotel is conveniently located off the interstate. That's not an issue for us because it's close to one of the landmarks we plan to visit and we deep sleepers. If you want to some quiet try to request a room that not facing the interstate. The hotel itself is clean and modern. They finished renovations in 2024 and it really paid off. The staff were polite and professional.

Otherwise all was very good with room, the hotel in general and the staff.

The attendants speaking tone was load as if talking AT YOU which was a little off putting. The facility and surroundings were generally clean but the room smelled like a dig had stayed in the room at some point. It was an okay stay but probably wouldn’t choose this location for another stay.

Room and carpet was sticky and dirty, room smell very bad that we had to change the room, but the second room was dirty and the carpet was literally sticking to our fit, bathroom was dirty but the hallways and lobby was filthy and sticky.

We were looking for a quick stop on the last leg of our trip and this place fit the bill. Love the open space of the room and how clean everything was. The breakfast was amazing. I have pinned this hotel to our maps because we will definitely make this our go to spot in the future.

Con: When checking in was told I could have saved a lot of money had I used the hotel site instead of Expedia. At that point it was too late to change anything, so I feel ripped off. If it was too late to make the change, they should not have said anything. Or I should have been given the lower rate. Room functionality. Not really a suite. Extra floor space with a huge shaded light over it. Miniscule sink and non-working coffee maker. One small shelf. Too much wasted space, especially if staying more than a night or two.

After checking in we opted to stay at a different hotel even though we had already paid for this one. We made this choice due to the feeling we got with the area the hotel was in and the general overall feel of the place. We stayed at the Marriott of Spartanburg instead and really liked it.

My stay was great! I had no issues checking in a little earlier than the stated time. Everything that I requested was handled with ease (extra key card when I left it in the room and I needed toothpaste). Breakfast was decent and the breakfast attendant (Pam?) was very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

We were standing outside for check-in because they locked the hotel at night. We had to call the front desk and no one answered the phone for 5-10 or was even at the desk. We get inside and there was not any warm water for both of our showers and it was 45 degrees outside.

This hotel is in an especially convenient location for through-travelers, and measures up to your HI Express expectations. Just off of I-85, the exit has several close and convenient food options. There is a well-stocked snacks and drinks cupboard right at the front door, and cheerful staff nearby to help. The breakfast offered was okay for this retiree, just not what I would call remarkable.

Holiday Inn Suite has soiled me the room was fantastic. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The breakfast and staff were excellent. I'll be a member for life

However, the one drawback was that the TV in my room didn’t work during my stay. Despite this, the positive atmosphere and excellent customer service from the staff made up for the inconvenience. I would still recommend the hotel, but I hope they address this issue for future guests.

This hotel was okay. The staff was nice enough, but weren't as professional as they are at other hotels I've stayed at. I didn't feel as if safety was a huge concern to any of the staff as they were just willing to let my "guest" in after hours, even though they didn't ask who they should be waiting for, what room I was in, or what my name was. So, I'm guessing they were just willing to let anyone in. We had a backed up toilet during our stay, and all they did was tell us to come down to the lobby and get the plunger so that we could take care of the problem ourselves. Not a huge issue, and we did as requested, but it was sort of poor service. To get extra towels/washclothes, I had to take them off the housekeepers cart while she was cleaning another room because I couldn't find her anywhere and had waited a very long time for the items. Overall, the room was a nice size and the beds were comfortable. It was relatively quiet, but the doors slam shut very loudly and that was aggravating at 1 a.m. in the morning to hear from your neighbors room. I'd stay there again if I had to, but I've stayed at better hotels.

Friendly and easy check-in. Super clean and quiet. Our room was larger than average, and we slept comfortably. The pull out bed leaves a lot to be desired, but most do! No linens for the bed were in the room and needed to be requested, but we walked down to the desk to get them and had them quickly. The breakfast was below average. All of the food items seemed like they came out of a microwave. But it was included, and there were several different food items ("omelets", turkey sausage, sausage gravy, biscuits, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, bread, a pancake maker, and yogurt). We would stay again.

I actually didn’t even stay at the property freshman I was offered the lock was broken and it smelt like pet urine. The second room I was offered smelled so bad I didn’t even walk in, so I actually just left and went to a different to a different hotel

The staff employed here are amazing. The staff maintained a friendly and professional attitude whenever I needed assistance. The first room we checked into didn’t have hot water. The staff switched our room and from there the stay was amazing.

We actually liked the property but why in the first 60 seconds of us being there my son seen a roach in the bathroom 😵‍💫😵‍💫 And the the refrigerator at one point knocked out and we had our drinks in there we had to get rid of. The service was good the staff was friendly but the morning spread was just okay.

We visit the area every year and have stayed at many hotels there. Holiday inn & suites is by far the BEST! Weve stayed here the past few years.The staff is always friendly and helpful.They are very clean and the property is very well maintained.They also have an indoor pool and fitness center which my family loves.Breakfast is also offered and its a buffet breakfast so plenty of options.

I like how this property accommodated my wife and 4 kids at short notice however upon first arrival it was hard to ignore the sign from the local law enforcement to remove valuables from your vehicle I know the hotel can't control the crime in the area. Upon entering the lobby there was a strange unpleasant mildewy/ chemical smell. Going up to our room after seeing the sign had me worried about the security of my family I noticed several of the room doors had damage near the lock mechanism assumingly due someone trying to forcibly gain entry into the room in the past, I'm not talking a little damage you could visually see where the mechanism went into the striker plate, and the hotel just used stain to cover the wood to make it less noticable. In the room the beds had several orange stains on the comforters which made me question if the bedding had been cleaned.

The staff here is amazing they did an excellent job.

I have no complaints with the exception of the fridge didn’t work for the first night and A/C not cooling the room. It was much cooler in the hallway than in my room.

I didn’t like their breakfast options and it would have been a bit nicer if the pool was heated or they had a hot tub option. I do think the air systems in the hotel need to be updated. We were not hot and it wasn’t warm, but the type of air conditioning in the rooms are definitely outdated. Overall, the stay was excellent and we enjoyed our room.
