The girl at the front desk was great Thursday and Sunday when we got there and left and the room was clean I didn’t like how we asked the guy at the front desk 5 times that we needed more towels and he kept saying he was gonna bring them to us because no one cleaned our room Friday night leading into Saturday morning so I went down and asked again Friday night for towels and he was laying on the couch watching tv after telling us 30 mins before he was gonna bring us towels since they didn’t clean our room. He kept saying he was short staffed and the cleaning people left at 4pm. The whole 4th floor never got touched with cleaning

All good except the shower and bathroom needs a good cleaning. I went and purchased Clorox spray for the shower because the floor appears to be not scrubbed good in awhile.

The staff was friendly , our room for the most part was clean and tidy , however the toilet seat was broken . It was fixed on day 2 of a 4 night stay. Breakfast was adequate , over all the stay was pleasant enough and we would stay here again. No bugs found in bed or room... Still waiting on our deposit to be returned ..

The hotel was conveniently located for me, with easy access and parking. The breakfast was good, but they really won me over with the espresso machine. I would mention that it is very close to the highway. I'm not bothered by the hum of traffic. If it bothers you, i suggest asking for a room which faces away from the highway.

Shabby bathroom. Probably 5 percent occupied, but given a room that looked directly on the roof of the hotel entry blocking view with 90 percent shingles. Directly looking down from the window was the roofs gutter. If this was a Best Western Plus I’d hate to stay at a plain ol’ Best Western.

My experience was extremely disappointing. The room was never cleaned despite my raising the issue twice; each time, I was told it would be addressed, but nothing changed. On our final night, we were given washcloths and towels along with a plastic bag to collect our own garbage, which was unacceptable. The reason provided for this poor service was that they were short-staffed. Additionally, only one elevator was operational, forcing us to walk up to the fourth floor several times. I have submitted a formal complaint to their headquarters and am currently awaiting a response. I also attempted to upload photos of the room but was unable to do so.

The steep entry off busy street with heavy traffic was less than desirable, and i found that going out the back entrance was preferable. Staff was helpful when i asked

The two room keys failed midway during my stay and I had to go to front desk to fix it. Then the day I checked out I had to come back to room to get the rest of my stuff & room keys failed. Went to front desk and no one there. Waited 15 minutes then begged housekeeping to open my room so I could get my stuff and leave.

The man at the reception has no customer service training whatsoever, he was rude and indifferent. We were given room 415 which has the window exterior pane broken and it was so noisy all night long.

The only issue was the elevator it worked sporadically

When we arrived into the hotel, we saw paint chipping on the walls of the lobby and the second elevator did not work. Once we got into the room, it had a musty smell and there were yellow stains on the sheets and the floor felt dirty. The bathroom shower had mold around it and the water pressure was terrible. The only thing we liked was the complimentary breakfast they provided. It was very delicious.

I called ahead to let them know it would be a late check in upon arriving everyone was very friendly and accommodating. In the morning breakfast was great they had waffles, fruit, cereal, coffee, all fresh and hot. We would stay there again.

What more can I say, LAST time staying here.

The place was nice for our stay. The breakfast offered several options. The beds were comfortable. The property looks renewed.

First of all, I would state that we would undoubtedly stay there again. Only complaint would be the electrical plugs on the nightstand between the two beds were wore out and needed to be replaced.

Car broke down on the way up. Closer to home so turned around. These people from the time I made the reservation, to the time I let them know was the most helpful, pleasent, were some of the best. Tried to get another room, but they are sold out, But will try again when I go back up.

This was an excellent hotel. The person at the desk when I checked in personable, friendly and incredibly helpful. The room was super clean, smelled fresh and comfortable. Very good hot breakfast in the morning. I would 100% stay here again if my travels ever bring me back to Spartanburg.

Nice place to stay

Upon checking in had a newer employee that struggled with getting me checked in. Eventually had to call someone and had to go back to desk to to pay a deposit. This young man was very pleasant throughout the process! Light at vanity did not work and the noise from the interstate was insane

Convenient location and surprisingly quiet. We enjoyed the pool and Josh provided great service.

The rooms are extra small but the beds were clean and the shower was powerful. This hotel will limit you on extra towels. It is okay for a quick stay.

The room was very clean, the hotel has quiet time schedule which was great because we could rest well. The only thing I would change is to add toothpaste to the rooms and change the toiletries brand/scent but that’s a personal choice. The breakfast area was clean, the food was better than in other hotels, the staff were courteous. Overall, excellent job, I would definitely come back here!!

Staff was horrible. No one at the check-in desk. Waited for an extended period of time before anyone showed up and she didn’t even apologize for keeping me waiting. The first room they gave me did not have a working TV or telephone. Shower head was spraying everywhere. Finally got moved to another room which was not very clean. The fridge had a bad odor. Overall terrible. Will never stay at another one of these.

Cleaning lady came into my room early while I was sleeping and woke me up. I was scheduled for two days and this was 930 the first morning. She apologized but I found it to be discomforting. Other than that it was a great stay.

The front desk staff is top notch. The breakfast staff is the reason I have "STAFF" 3 stars. We have stayed there twice, and the attention the breakfast staff has given was zero to none. Most of the time, they are on their cell phone and you have to ask for more food to be brought out. Otherwise, great place.

The room was small and crowded. The location of the hotel was listed wrong. Breakfast was not very good. The food needed to be replaced.

We were in town for a high school softball playoff game and college tour. Everyone was super nice as soon as we walked in the door and for the entire stay. The room was very clean and had plenty of towels, wash cloths and toiletries. The air worked great. The breakfast was really good especially the citrus peach punch, waffles and sausage links. The only downside was the pool was still closed for the season. We will definitely be back if we come back to Spartanburg.

Overall the hotel was ok Except for the fact I had to change my room twice 1st because of cleanliness. (Dust behind the bed found out as I started getting allergies) 2nd for plumbing issues (only hot water for shower) all on the same day After that the service, room and breakfast was good Total days stayed 3

The staff aimed to please. When I did not like something about my room, they immediately rectified the situation. The manager made a point to find me to make sure I was satisfied with the outcome. The breakfast has good options and good coffee choices. I would stay here again.

The staff was wonderful from check in to check out, staff was always ready and the rooms were very clean and well maintained, even the fitness room was very well organized as well. Not over crowed, because of there size.

We were quoted 324 for 3 night stay on hotels.com we paid in advance and knew there was probably a deposit/incidentals fee. The front desk clerk quoted 50 dollars. I gave him my card and he charged me 350 dollars. If I had known ahead of time i would not have approved such a charge on my accouny that was my eating out money and gas to get home money. The hotel refused to give me an early refund and would not speak to my wife while i was at work. It soured our entire trip. I believe i should be compensated for the misinformation and down and dirty way they handled their business.they couldnt and still have not refunded me the 360 dollars. Super upset!

Hotel is located next to the interstate which is very busy and very loud all night long. Will not stay here again for that reason alone.

We travelled here from Canada, it was super close to everything we needed, had issues with someone beside us the first night and staff were quick to let us move.breakfast was good, rooms were clean and staff were very nice. Lots of parking. Definitely recommend

There is a Denny's next door, as well as a Mexican restaurant. The food at the latter was great! Overall this hotel is great value for money.

The staff has been very friendly each time I've come in to visit my father. Everything is very clean, convenient location. My go-to when visiting Spartanburg.

Good experience until breakfast time. Food choices and flavors were average. What really demands improvement is the size of the room. It was woefully too small for the number of guests that were trying to squeeze into the room. There was not enough counter space, room to move about without bumping into the other guests and certainly not enough tables and chairs. The food kept quickly running out and the poor girl who was working there could not keep up with the demand.

My stay was just okay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Spent way too much time working with front desk trying to find a TV remote that actually worked (where I had to put forth most of the effort). Breakfast was hot and plentiful. Tip: Ask for a room on the front of the building. It faces a wooded area, the back faces a very busy and loud freeway. I couldn't understand why staff congregated in the breakfast area and having LOUD conversations, while guests are trying to have a quiet breakfast and get ready for the day. I had to take my breakfast and retire to my room. TOO LOUD and TOO EARLY!

My assigned room faced the Interstate. It was extremely noisy. Asked to be reassigned a south facing room over the parking lot but hotel was sold out. Hotel offered to refund my rate, but I could not find another hotel with decent rooms at last minute other than 1 or 2 star motel or with poor reviews. Expedia was useless too. Online with chat and they couldn't help either. Ear plugs and a noise maker but could still hear traffic all night.

2. We were charged 2 times 3. Our bathroom.shower had old soap, shampoo, and pubic hair litering the entire shower 4. Reatiner cleaning tablets left from previous occupant 5. Refrigerator was burning hot and not replaced until almost 24 hrs later. Shower flooded the first night had to have front desk worker come and plunge the shower This all occured withing the first 1 hour we were there. Asked for a new room and they were sold out. Asked for the manager, was told he would be in 9am the next morning which would have been Saturday. Finally was offered a new refrigerator at 3pm Saturday, and housekeeping cleaned the shower but still many visible stains and grime. Manager finally spoke to me at 830 sunday night, after he stated it was a courtesy for him to be there and speak to me because he was only there for paperwork. I requested our entire first night be refunded, he only allowed 50% off which the amount on my card is still not correct. Also the price my receipt on hotels.com vrs what i was charged at the hotel was different. I am disappointed in the experiance we had because otherwise it is a beautiful hotel with a decent breakfast But the manager is really not good management material and wanted to blame everyone else instead of accepting he should have been present Saturday morning or at least called me. (My phone number was given to the front desk to have him call me)

The room was nice and comfortable, the breakfast was not so good. The breakfast was from 7:30 until 10 am and I got there at a quarter to nine am. and the hash brown potatoes were cold and I scrapped up the last ones in the pan. All the other dishes were cold as well. Otherwise, the service was pleasant.
