The property was in a very questionable area and my covtraveller was approached by a prostitute. The room smelled terribly like smoke. Will not stay again.
- 2/5
The second thing was when I went into the room I found a toilet with a huge hunk of hair in it. I guess that's not technical bad, but it's pretty disgusting. The furniture was neither "nice" nor particularly in good shape, particularly the vinyl chair, which was the only place to sit in the room other than the bed. The stove top looked like someone had spilled something on it a number of years ago and then cooked it on, over and over. The cheap plastic cup had a plastic wrapper that had been perforated about 8 times. Not exactly sanitary. Unless you really need to save a little money, spend an extra $25-50 and enjoy a "real" Marriott Suties.

They don’t clean your room every day. Which sucks when you need sheets changed or floor vacuumed ect. Other than that it’s very nice
- 4/5
Great place compared to other similar hotels. Made for people with longer stays for work, not a high frills place but is clean and everything works. I would stay again.

The refrigerator, microwave and stove were excellent and worked well. The lower score was that the listing mentioned coffee in the lobby which was not the case. Just would have been helpful to know. Gym had no free weights. The nautilus machine was find and worked well but one set of free weights are typical for a small hotel gym.

I like the kitchen

I was skeptical on staying here with my family for the weekend but for the price we booked. The rates for other hotels were outrageous for volleyball tournament. The room was clean, beds weren't too bad as didn't wake up with a sore back. Did not experience any loud noise as other reviews did. Not alot of amenities but there are fast food restaurant and gas station in walking distance. Overall it was worth it!
- 3/5
There was nothing in the kitchen, no coffee maker of any kind, and no hair dryer. I would at least expect a coffee maker and a hairdryer. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean, but TV was too small for the room and was hard to see from the beds. I really wanted to love this place so we could come back again and again, but I need to think about it.
- 5/5
Room was clean, they had washer and dryers on site. Which was needed for our stay cuz we were there for a 3 day wrestling tournament and needed to wash all the gross clothes. The staff was very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed it. Its one exit off the freeway from lots of food and shopping options. We will definitely come back next year.
- 2/5
Room was ice cold when we entered due to air conditioner being full blast on the lowest setting on a already cold day in April, we were charged for extra for 2 beds when we only needed 1, front desk said they charge per bed…. Never been charged that way at any place we've ever stayed, we travel a lot and stay in Reno often….. the beds were more fold out cots. this is a newer hotel property in the area and it’s set up more like newer low income project apartments….. don’t plan to stay here again
- 5/5
I will definitely stay again in this place

I was unable to get a refund on my room because I didn’t have a credit card I lost $93. I will never book WoodSpring ever again.

Filthy stunk of fried chicken and pine-Sol…. Everything was sticky. Oh and never mind the drugged up and drunk men walking around.

Good location and clean rooms. However, the set up of the shower creates way too much water that goes out all over the place making it a mess.. comes with somewhat of a kitchen with a larger refrigerator and stove top with exhaust fan, which is nice however, they need to change the beds which are pretty important. The springs are popping out of those things.

Our freezer didn’t freeze food no matter how high we turned it. There were absolutely no dishes in the kitchen so pretty hard to use it and that was the whole reason we chose to stay there. The noise from pets was terrible. One day started barking and whining at 4:30am and was still at it when we left at 7:30. Not even a front desk staffed to do anything about it. Also multiple dogs barking in hallway. Would not stay again

Other beef was the broken luovered blinds that lack privacy from passerby’s and let headlights shine into the room. Bed and pillows were 2-star hotel-ish while bathroom and kitchen area were 4-star hotel-ish. Always check the WiFi…unless you book a non-refundable room then yer stuck.

I liked the measure of security the facility took in order to maintain safety and privacy for their guests. I also liked the layout of the units. The cleaning staff use entirely to much synthetic cleaner/air freshener. It was 40 degrees in the night and 60 degrees during the day. I had to open the window up to avoid getting sick. I think this practice is in use in order to mask the underlying pet smell that is very present in all common areas beyond the lobby. I would stay again. Just wipe and air things down. Woke up with a sore throat, swelling, puffiness, and a runny nose from overuse of chemicals/sanitizers.

This hotel is set up for extended stay guests. There was no in room coffee nor coffee available in the office area. When we tried to access internet service there was no option for overnight stays. Probably great for extended but would not recommend for overnight stay.

I really want to give this property one star as the rooms are so chemically cleaned that I ended up having to put my own sheets on the bed in order to sleep at all and I still got chemical redness on my skin from chemical exposure. I am certain that they spray the rooms, everything in the rooms with a heavy cleaning chemical. It's way too much. I won't stay here again.

Must have been using some air freshner or cleaner in the AC unit because the strong smell dissipated when I turned it off for the night and resumed when I turned it back on in the morning. Too strong a scent to leave running through the night almost giving me a headache.

Place suited us well, We were in town for hot august night, Called a couple of months ahead of time and was told there would be parking for our trailer, Turns out most people staying at the hotel are still figuring out how to park, Not to mention the multiple motorcycles taking up spots that are car could of used, I ended up taking my trailer to a lot that costs me $405 dollars and had to park my truck out on the road heading in, But all in all, it was a good place

This is a good example of you get what you pay for. This is a low budget property. The room seemed clean, which is expected. The registration process was odd as you had to sign, in 5 to 7 places, a document that outlined all the expectations of the property (which included things like taking out your own trash if you had what they considered to be excessive amounts of trash). My room was probably the worst room they have in that it was located on the ground floor & near to the exit/entrance from the parking lot, which means that it was getting opened & slammed shut all the time & at all hours. Additionally the blinds in my room were broken & could not be lowered all the way to the sill (so you could see into the room from outside). The front desk is only open between 3 pm and 11 pm, which is when people can check in - I suspect this is a cost cutting/savings strategy. Totally a budget property and okay if you need a place to just crash for a night.

I arrived with my senior dog and expected to pay the $10 fee. Then they said there was also a $50 nonrefundable fee. I had searched specific hotels for fees and said so. They ended up waiving it for the night. This place is more of a long term hotel. Take your own trash out. Dog poop is everywhere on the grounds. Parties kept other guests up. I had a slamming exit door that they said they could do nothing about. Want sleep? Don't stay here. I parked carefully and someone came in overnight and parked crooked. I had to crawl through my passenger side to leave in the morning. See the pictures. Front desk says this happens often. I highly do not recommend this place. I took pics of any previous damage so I don't get blamed. The owner needs to take responsibility and clean this place up. As I was leaving, an older gentleman came up to me to ask me what I thought. He was very disappointed and plans on moving. Pretty sad. I would not even advertise this place.

Liked the room itself. Stayed there 8 nights and the desk said I could not get service for my room. When checking out around 9 am the red hair (dyed) kept keeping the elevator door causing it to be slow. She also rushed into the elevator when I was going out. Doesn't she know proper elevator etiquette and let the others out first. RUDE!!!! The front desk wasn't very friendly either.

Honestly, it's like a remodeled motel 6. Service staff was very friendly. It was convenient to where I was going. It was just me, and I was only there for one night, so it did it's purpose. Would I bring my family back to stay here, um, prob not.

You have to pass a homeless encampment to get to the hotel. They where not there during the day but when returning after dinner they where. We stayed because my brother is in a wheelchair and it was suppose to be handicap accessible only the hardwood flooring and the bars around the toilet where the only thing accessible. The bed was way up high not at all wheelchair level. There was a tub not a shower, no shower seat. We could not find another accessible room in town for that day or we would have went somewhere else.

just an overall bad experience.

Staff was great. It’s more suited for workers from out of the area and long term stays. There is a bum camp a few 100 yards away so that’s why the low review. The bums go through the property to get to their camp.

The rooms are relatively clean, the floors could use a good mopping. The exercise room is great. The staff was friendly and helpful. Cons- the door slamming at all hours of the night. Garbage truck coming through the property at 5:00 am making a bunch of noise. Guests with giant aggressive dogs that they do not appear to have control of.

Nice, comfortable rooms. Close to shopping and easily accessible.

Easy to find, good location, smelled like cleaning products, beds were a bit hard. Front desk only affable for certain hours. It worked for a last minute stay out of town.

Everything seemed OK but the rooms had a very strong chemical smell. The water was lukewarm.

Making jokes about paperwork, entertaining and engaging. Actually the best check-in experience i have had!

Don't let the name fool you, this place does not have "suites". Small motel style rooms with kitchen crammed into it. However, no cookware, no silverware, no eating utensils, no anything for cooking/eating, although you could "buy" cooking sets and dish sets at check in at $40 for each set. And speaking of check in, only at 3-5 pm each day, period. Oh, and you must empty your own trash can or there will be an added charge for cleaning after check out? Add to that worn out and dirty carpet in the hallways, no ice machine because there is a refer in the room except there is no ice trays in the refer/freezer so how would I make ice? No coffee maker, no hair dryer, no paper towels, no Kleenex tissue, two bath towels and one wash rag (no hand towels) for double occupancy for two days? Cleaning service is once per week and there is an added charge for that?? I will never stay here again and never recommend anyone to stay here.

Hallway carpet extremely dirty and smelly, the room quality was great and location and close to outlet mall.

Liked the fridge, large tv, and microwave

The room was clean and spacious, with a nice, large shower. The bed was a bit on the soft side for our taste, but you can't please everyone. Our only real issue was the noise. The people upstairs were banging around all night long. Sounded like they were moving furniture and break dancing. And I mean ALL night. We were right next to the back entrance and the door opening and closing was really loud. A huge bang whenever it closed, which was often. Maybe if we had a room further from that door it would have been a better stay.

The hallway smelled horribly and the carpet was very dirty. The room was fine, though not the cleanest (some concerns with the bathroom). Plus, while we understood that it is a pet friendly facility, a dog was left unattended near the room we stayed and barked non-stop for at least two hours from 6am-8am (likely more as we had to leave).

Very convenient off I80. Rooms are spartan but clean and adequate. No cookware etc. for kitchen; must have your own. Lobby area is very limited with no services such as coffee etc.

Right next to interstate. Noisy building.

I stayed here one night as a stopping point on the way to Idaho. I didn’t realize it was more for people that live there for a few days to weeks and has everything you would need as far as regular size fridge, stovetop, microwave but if you want a coffee maker, you need to rent one. Also no pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, etc…kind of odd. Not the hotels fault but I was awakened by the upstairs residents walking their elephant. The floors and walls are thin.

I like that it has accessible access to the kitchen and the price

The rooms need updating. The rooms need better cleaning. Linen was dirty not enough towels. Have to ask the front desk for iron. The outside looks nice but once inside it smells and looks run down.
