We are not used to interstate noise. We were on the 15th floor facing the interstate......extremely loud.
- 2/5
No customer service available either by service or help. Staff very abrupt and rude.

Beautiful

Buena comida todo exelente
- 2/5
There were no condiments with the coffee. Only 2 of 6 elevators were in operation and we had to wait 30+ minutes to even get on one. People were highly rude and just broke in front of you. Valet parking was not up to par. Very slow and no one was present at 4am when we needed to get to the Reno Airport. We don't gamble so the Facility fee was a complete waste.. We only needed a place to lay our head

Very nice people and clean

Very beautiful clean space to go to
- 5/5
The staff where extremely helpful
- 4/5
Rooms have a strong smell of smoke, cigarettes
- 5/5
El lugar muy limpio y todo me en canto
- 5/5
Nice and convenient to have restaurants available in the hotel as well as walking distance to the concert!
- 5/5
Great place to stay and relax , i highly recommend nugget
- 5/5
Used the kiosks to check in and only 2 of the 4 were available. Also stayed in Casino Tower and only 2 of the 5 elevators were usable. Long lines for both this weekend for check in
- 5/5
Everything was great, clean rooms, friendly staff but the slots were broken, we didn’t win anything! Had a great time.
- 4/5
I liked that it was very kid friendly. Floor 5 resort tower. Pool and fitness center was amazing. There needs to be more family friendly food choices. Rosie’s is alright but more options.

Un poco mas limpiesa

I booked a room for June 7th.! Chicken in at 12:30pm. By 2:30pm the power went out. It came back on about 1.5 hrs later. Then at 6 pm it went out again and was off for 3 hrs at which time myself and many other guests were checking out! No lights, no AC, no elevators (which truly sucks when you’re on the 11th floor!
- 4/5
It was alright, the people in the adjoining room had the TV on all night long. I thought they were fighting all night until I woke up at 6 am and realized it was the tv!
- 4/5
The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The room was very nice and I appreciate the last minute request before arrival. Will definitely be going there again
- 3/5
Room was extremely noisy. Could hear everything around the room including freight cars on the rails behind the hotel and we were on the 21st floor.
- 5/5
The bathroom should have a fan in it, but otherwise everything was great!
- 1/5
The hotel is showing its age. We were on the 25th floor and the freeway traffic noise was still too loud in our room, we had to keep the air conditioner on all night to drowned out the traffic. And the air conditioner needed replacement 20 year's ago.
- 1/5
The room service experience was quite challenging. When we visited the Roses restaurant, we had to wait for 40 minutes in start of the line without any assistance, despite being passed by multiple times. Eventually, we decided to leave and order from our room. However, when we called for room service, the response was that there was no time to take our order over the phone and we had to come in person.
- 3/5
Very good hotel for the price, however is not a free smoke casino hotel
- 5/5
Room was clean and supplied with fresh towels. Didn’t care too much for dinner downstairs. Island Grill. Food had no taste and very bland!!
- 3/5
This property was old and dingy casino tower rooms are from the 70's Needs to remodel. Elevators there were only 2 elevators working had to wait over a 1/2 hour just to get from floor 6 to lobby. Will not stay again! Casino restaurants were advertised that they had room service and no one did room service.
- 3/5
First night was very noisy with kids crying and talking second night was much better, place was well maintained, the pool was over crowded maybe adding one more would be better
- 5/5
This was a very quick overnight stay and amenities were not used. The property is always clean and staff is helpful.

Got in late. Only one place to eat. Food was fair, at best.
- 5/5
Front desk staff where great nice greeted made us feel welcome as for the rooms they had all the amenities as for the room being cleaned to standard expectations being that the nugget gets a large capacity’s of visitors tourist locals for the entertainment casino concerts diners nugget gets a lot of visitors and visitors like to get a night or 2 while they gamble and it’s one thing to change out sheets blankets towels and trash cups and the complimentary shampoo conditioner lotions they make sure to change and replace all that but it’s another thing to not clean and sanitized the room vacuum and mopped the bathroom floor foam scrub the shower and toilet and sink after the visitors check out not just change and replace but to clean and sanitize the areas that Carry viruses and bacteria and if you let the deep cleaning go for to long
- 1/5
ASIDE I HAD AN ANXIETY ATTACK FROM THE WHOLE SITUATION. I HOPE TO SEE OTHER BAD REVIEWS FROM THIS WEEKEND AND CAN SAVE PEOPLE FROM STAYING AT THIS PLACE! -
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with excellent location, amazing pool and amazing restaurant (Rosie’s) with the most wonderful breakfast steak and eggs
- 5/5
Clean rooms. Always a nice stay
- 3/5
You have to pay for resort fee and now you have to pay $10.00 a day to valet your vehicle. I'm not sure why they have resort fees if you have to pay extra for parking if you want to valet. And they where doing a remodel on the elevator and no body tells you that at the front desk when you check into your room.
- 4/5
Expect to wait 30 min for your luggage to reach your room when you check in. Expect to wait 45 min for valet to bring you car up when you check out. Oh and don't bother trying to get a Belfort to help you when you check out either. I was so disappointed in the management of these services, especially when I am traveling with my disabled husband. I won't go back there.
- 1/5
Lost electricity twice our first day and on day two twice with the second outage on hour six (10 pm) when we gave up and called Expedia to help us find alternate lodging. Expedia customer service was amazing! Got us into new lodging and we had a great rest of our trip
- 3/5
Tired casino hotel that shows it's age.
- 2/5
The resort tower I was in had multiple elevators that were inoperative during the four nights I was there, making it a very difficult and lengthy process to reach my room which was on the 28th floor and difficult to reach the lobby going back down. At times there was no hot water available so I was unable to shower, the toilet needed to be flushed twice after each use. The air conditioner was very loud, but at least it kept the room cool. Next time I’ll stay elsewhere in Reno.
- 4/5
The cons: staff completely ignored me while trying to check in; settled for self-check-in, which didn't work on the first machine and was confusing even on the second one; no staff available to help; staff seemed bothered when I asked for help; lobby was thick with cigarette smoke; elevators were old and in poor condition; no microwaves in rooms or apparently anywhere on the property (despite fridge in each room); resort fee is ridiculous for an overnight transit stay (provides nothing of value)
- 3/5
They are in the middle of an elevator upgrade so there were only one or two working elevators available. At one point we had to use a service elevator to get to our floor. The rooms in the casino tower are in need of an upgrade.
- 5/5
Can't say I had many issues. Everything was good
- 3/5
ON SUNDAY THE HOTEL HAD LOST ITS POWER DUE POWER ISSUES NEARBY! I WAS NOT HAPPY TO HAVE LOST POWER OFF AND ON, MY SUGGESTION THAT ALL HOTELS HAS EMERGENCY FLASH LIGHTS IN ROOM FOR POWER OUTAGES ISSUES FOR SAFETY NEEDS! Overall The Staff was Great, And I might Stay at the Hotel Again Someday Again!
- 2/5
The property lost power and the whole resort side was down.
- 1/5
This was the 2nd time we tried staying at the Nugget. After the terrible experience we had the week earlier, we thought we would give it one more chance. The power was out when we arrived. The staff was checking people in manually by writing down information on paper. When the power came back on, the elevators were kind of working. It took 5 tries to get the elevator to stop on our floor. After about an hour, the power went off again. The room became hot pretty quickly. Not able to open the windows at all. We checked out and went to a different hotel. We asked for a refund but the staff did not know if we could get a refund until the power returned. You would think the Nugget would invest in generators to operate the hotel.
- 2/5
Use caution with valet services; they have lost my husband's CPAP machine, not sure how it happened, from the bellman who took our bags from the room to the vehicle. His bag, which also had medication, is still missing or was accidentally given to another person's vehicle. This issue has yet to be resolved. I went back and forth by phone between the security manager and the valet desk all day. No one knows what happened, yet this facility has security cameras and staff walking all around. The day security does not communicate well with night security, and yet time is wasting away. Our stay was not bad until our bag was misplaced, and "no one knows how to help." We have to report this lost CPAP machine item to the VA as Lost, and it will take 30 days to replace it. Now we have to search and pay for something so that my husband can sleep/breathe better at night.
- 1/5
So I checked into this hotel based on price and reviews as I had a work event nearby during the next week. I stayed 3 nights and I’m glad that was all it was.Checkin was weird as the place up front was full so I parked in free parking only to realize it was far away. The room I got first, The A/C was not working. Wrote a review on here for the check in and got a call from Cole the next day that was very apologetic and wanted to make it work. They moved me from the casino room which was okay other than the one issue. To the resort room. That room was newer. First night it took over and hour for my bags to arrive from the bell service. I had to call to find out what happened. No hot water the first night. The next night the power went out in the hotel twice. First time for a couple of hours. The next it was off from 6pm to midnight. The hotel staff did not let me know what was wrong. I had to call them. Overall it was a rocky stay but the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Unfortunately you have to go down stairs for food delivery and the elevators on the casino tower can easily take 15 mins to get a car to your floor. The resort ones which require a key worked much better. I don’t think I’ll ever stay here again because of my issues.
- 1/5
There were kids and adults laughing and singing in the hall until after midnight. There was hair (the unspeakable kind) on the night stand. The food at Rosie’s Cafe was terrible. We had the Chicken Fried Steak. The price was $28 (way too high). The meat was stringy and the gravy did not look like gravy at all. It was a tan color. Not white gravy. We both felt sick afterwards.
- 5/5
Lobby had a funky smell ...other than that everything was great
- 5/5
The Jacuzzi and the swimming pool everything was perfect
- 2/5
The first room was very smoky and the Ac wasn’t working. I had to request to change the room. The second room was better but the toilet was not flushing properly and the remote to the tv wasn’t working. It took an hour 1/2 for maintenance to come. He gave us a new remote and said he adjusted the toilet. Unfortunately it still wasn’t working properly when we needed to use. We had to flush several times hoping it wouldn’t overflow.
- 4/5
This is a great place to stay, depending on why you're in Reno. Pretty neutral for our situation and the casino was clean and staff were helpful.
- 5/5
My 3rd stay and really like the Hotel
- 1/5
Arrived to find a major power outage…room was really hot and no air conditioning. Incredibly noisy location right above I-80 freeway. So loud all night long!! My room was next to vending machine and ice makers and that area was a complete mess. Website said airport shuttle starts at 4am…but it doesn’t so I had to order an uber for $35. Staff promised I could check out at 4:30 am and get my cash deposit back…but couldn’t get the cash until 5am…so I didn’t get the $100 back. I can’t believe I paid for that disaster…they should be paying me. Never again!!!!
- 4/5

- 3/5
Pool was not clean
- 2/5
Most likely will not stay there again.
- 1/5
Selected a non-smoking room and even though it stunk like cigarettes
- 3/5
They have changed a lot. The pool is a knockout. To use an atm, you have to walk through a smoke-filled casino. To eat at any of the restaurants, you have to walk through smoke. To sit outside to wait for your valet, you have to sit in smoke (all cigarettes) The room was excellent, but people were also smoking, not cigarettes, in the hall, even though it's supposed to be smoke-free. I left my phone in the room, and I have been waiting for security to find out if they found it. I know that I left it in there, and when I called earlier, they could not locate it. I walked from my room to my car, and it is not in my bag or car. I remember exactly where it was when I left. The light have, been out in the resort and so now, 12 hours later, I am still waiting on security to find it. They say I can ask the housekeeping supervisor tomorrow, but what it that going to do if the phone has already been left in a pocket?
- 2/5
Casino tower: elevator slow, ac is hot. Not enough soap and shampoo and toothbrush toothpaste, lack of pillows
- 5/5
Gave me a28th for room
- 3/5
Hotel is too old, elevator is very old and only 2 worked out of 5
- 5/5
Would stay again.
- 3.5/5
Convenient location Elevator situation was challenging hello hi how are you today? How are you?
- 4/5
Restaurants were delicious No fan in the bathroom
- 2.5/5
Rosie’s cafe was great food & service. We had someone knocking at our door early in the morning security called saying someone couldn’t get in the room, but we were all in the room. Call that next morning to get amenities in our room, but the front desk said we were not booked for another night had to go down to get that straightened out. I guess that goes back on the third-party for Booking. Got a $30 discount on food.
- 5/5
It’s easy to get in and out of. Prices well. Rooms were clean and quiet. Staff was friendly. Restaurants are ok there’s better food out there. The elevators are under construction so it can take 10-15 minutes to get a ride up or down.
- 2/5
i always stay here, i usually love the nugget! i like how it is a lot less busy than the hotels/casinos down town. hot water stopped working for quite some time on our second night there. our AC in our room hardly cooled the room down so it was hard to sleep at night.
- 0.5/5
Was close location to the hospital worked out good for us Power was out almost all night had no TV we had no cold water or hot water could not take showers too cold I feel I should be refunded partial money
- 1/5

- 4/5

- 5/5
Good experience and clean environment
- 2/5
Anthony’s Chophouse, Oyster Bar and Rosie’s had great food and drinks. Our room was not up to that standard. We booked a non smoking room and immediately when we walked in the smell of cigarettes permeated the room. Room service sent someone up to spray but it only helped for a while. I had a constant headache in that room. The jacuzzi in our room was inconsistent. The first night it wouldn’t start. The second night it started but we could not get hot water. It was only warm and got cold quick. Room service did call us to have someone come check it but that’s the last thing I want on my vacation is to have staff working in my room. On our last day I wanted to order room service from Rosie’s. They ask that you scan a QR code and place the order. Every time I would try to add an entree to the cart there would be an error and I couldn’t place my order. I called the restaurant to place the order and I got a message that I reached them at peak hours and to try again later. I never did get to place any room service food order. I blame the system in place more than staff. The warm staff made up for our awful room but it’s safe to say we will not be staying at the Nugget again.
- 2/5
There was 1 elevator working on our side of the hotel to go up to our room so we had to wait in line to go up which took about 20-30 minutes every time. The room was outdated and smelt like smoke even tho we asked for non smoking.
- 5/5
Todo muy bien, solo que en el servicio del casino el personal tardaba mucho en llevarte algo de tomar! Pero muy bonito hotel!
- 4/5
Room was clean and checking out was super quick. We always like staying at the nugget and hoping to have time to swim.
- 5/5
Great always my choice of hotel
- 4/5
all good
- 3/5
The hotel room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The only problem was we were on the 7th floor and could hear all the freeway noise since our room was on the freeway side. If we stay there again I will ask for a room on the opposite side of the freeway.

Room and bed comfortable. Noises through the night, not sure what from, elevators close by?
- 4/5
The check in process took a while. There were only 2 people working and the automated kiosks were not. Then one of the two check-in people "fixed" the kiosks to try to help but that didn't work. More check-in people on a Friday night would have been much appreciated! Also when we finally got to our room, the smoke alarm was chirping. After driving almost 10 hours that day, we just wanted to go to sleep but had to wait for someone to replace the battery.

- 1/5
Elevators were on 2 working No handicap exits with heavy glass doors
- 5/5
Rooms were very clean. Zero noise complaints whatsoever. Spacious bedrooms. Will definitely be coming back.
- 5/5
Late hectic arrival, staff was excellent and check in so smooth.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Appreciated how quiet my room was (didn’t hear neighbors once). Would definitely stay here again.
- 1/5
Touted as the most inexpensive place in Reno to lodge, but was extremely misleading about the actual
- 3/5
Room was huge, check in lady was very nice The bathroom, each time you flushed the toilet it made a horrible noise and then you flush again and it would work. The shower made a high pitch scream when we used it. Bathroom really needs some work. Also I know it’s a casino but the overwhelming smell of cigarette smell covered by a weird air freshener in our room really bothered my throat. It’s also very loud because it is right next to the freeway so I had a hard time sleeping

- 5/5
For the one night stay from May 31st to June 1st 2026 it was not that bad, if had to complain about something it would be the air conditioner, but other then that no complaints.
- 3/5
Our room had a terrible cigarette smell to which caused us to not relax in our room but otherwise the hotel was nice. The food at Rosie's was okay, it was hard to customize our food selections on the app and when we called down we were unable to order via phone.
- 5/5
But otherwise I enjoyed our stay. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- 4/5
This place was okay for our needs.
- 5/5
I have trouble with the sheets, I don’t know if the laundry detergent to too harsh or if they don’t rinse out enough but they cause me to itch! I have sensitive skin.
- 3/5
Once again, I got a room with a bad Keurig coffee machine. Did not work, no matter what I tried, and I like having coffee in the morning, before I check out. The last time I stayed at the Nugget, the TV was really bad, there were about 6 spots in the screen that shined real bright light, so it would hurt your eyes if you tried to watch it. The time before that, I got a TV where the sound was like someone talking through a paper towel tube. Yet, I still stay at the Nugget. I've thought about calling them to let them know the problems I have had, but don't wan to possibly get blamed for some of the things being broken. It is what it is, I guess..
- 5/5
made visiting my terminal mother easier
- 4/5
Good for the price. Comfy beds, easy check-in. Comfortable and spacious room. Parking is a little sketchy on the “resort” side. Nice pool and a fun arcade for the kids.
- 2/5
I would not recommend staying here more than a day or two. You have to consistently call the housekeeping line to request your room to be cleaned or want new towels. There's no microwave and the hotel controls your temperature. There is a thermostat in the room you can use but we had both of our rooms set at 55 and it was a till warm. I request to change rooms to see if it helped but that room was warm too. We ended up opening the windows to let cold air in. When I checked out the young lady refunded me 1 day for the 7 days I stayed but I have yet to see the credit. I will no longer book my stay here when I come to Reno.
- 4/5
Los cuartos y el lugar estaban muy limpios el personal muy amable si regresaría otra ves
- 1/5
Our hotel room was extremely dirty when we arrived. One of the beds had stains and lipstick on sheets. The shower had someone else hair was all over the bathroom. The toilet got clogged after one use. We have a family of 5 and the left us a towel set for 1 person. When we called for extra towels for 5 people they brought us 2 face towels, it took them 20 mins to bring the correct amount. This is my family first time at this hotel and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Please don’t use Hotels.com to book this hotel. I book through hotels.com and paid a deposit to book our room. When I arrived at the hotel they said that I didn’t pay anything and I have to pay the full amount instead of paying the remaining amount. Hotels.com has my payment confirmation but The Nugget doesn’t have it. I ended up paying for the whole amount for 3 days. I was supposed to pay $468 but ended up paying $883.

Good Hotel to stay in sparks
- 4/5
We watched the show Magique and greatly enjoyed it. The property overall is dated and overdue for a remodel. Would return but not a first choice.

- 5/5
Bueno poner un poco más en la limpieza
- 3/5
A/C was terrible. If it had been really hot you would have suffered
- 3/5
The hotel is in the outskirts and next to freeway so we were on the 20th floor and wake up with construction and freeway traffic. It’s an older hotel and everything is showing its age. I think it’s a 3.5 star but did not get that option. The coffee shop food needs help really bad even for breakfast and that’s hard to mess up.
- 5/5
Clean, impeccable property with staff always at a hand wave for assistance. The restaurant and amenities are flawless, highly recommended.
- 5/5
Although our stay was sudden and only 1 night, check-in was fast and convenient. We were in and out fast with no problems or issues.
- 3/5
Overall, for the price, it was a good hotel to stay in. It’s just the parking it’s kind of terrible. It’s a super huge hotel so a lot of people rent there because it’s right in the middle of Reno great location, but I only used it for my son‘s basketball tournament we needed somewhere to lay our heads. Everything else was pretty decent, but we didn’t get to enjoy too much. We was there for just a short period of time but the most part. It was OK.
- 5/5
Clean room. Easy check in
- 5/5
The hotel is very easy to get to, free covered parking and free uncovered parking. We were attending an animal show and sale so we had our truck and livestock trailer. We unhooked from our trailer in the uncovered lot and was able to use our truck for errands and sightseeing and then return to the covered parking lot. Very convenient!
- 5/5
The faucet in bathtub was spraying water into the tub as I was showering , couldn’t close it all the way. Other than that everything was fine.

Always like staying at the Nugget when I’m in Reno! Nice rooms, great restaurants
- 5/5
We’ve stayed at the Nugget many many times and have always been happy. The ONLY thing I can say is that the pillows are terrible. The ones made of shredded foam are lumpy, the others plain old uncomfortable and make me sweat

The staff and hotel was very nice, fast check in at the desk. The room was nice and clean the beds were comfortable and quiet even over Memorial weekend. I would highly recommended staying at the Nugget resort Hotel Casino. I was in the casino tower in a non smoking room. Very nice!
- 5/5
This place was really clean I was actually surprised that this tower had no smoke smell, I know I asked for the non smoking tower but I been to different casino resort and even though they say non smoking the rooms and hallways smell like it. I definitely will stay in future stays.
- 1/5
Some of the people who work there are nice. Others are not so much. The bartenders seem stressed out. Didn’t seem like a great work atmosphere. The property is tired. The swimming pool was a mess. Overall rating: not worth staying at.

Getting old in the tower I stade in

The view was beautiful, I really like the window area and how it was put togther. Almost like a bar or even a place to sit and look out. The bathroom sucked, the water pressure for the showers was low. And didnt really get hot. And I really like the showers and bathroom in the Towers where you have to badge your room key to go. These rooms were nothing compared to the tower Besides the window view it wasnt all that great. I really enjoy my shower time.

I liked that the windows was able to be opened, the cool outside air felt amazing, also as a group who was at route91 we fully appreciated the rules of keeping windows closed during concert!! safety first <3 not so used to needing to request maid service, dont mind cleaning room ourselves during stay but we did run out of toilet paper during stay. I wish there was still a check in by maid services for more supplies not just bed turn overs. AC didn't work very well and room got pretty muggy but as stated in what did like the cool outside air did balance this pretty well. just not sure how well that would workout during summer months

Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable The place is really run down, only 2 elevators working on a busy memorial day weekend, the room windows need to be sealed my room wasn't even facing the highway and you could hear traffic as if the window was open.

Everything about the property was great. The daily resort fee is trash

Clean, spacious and nice ambiance room. A lot to do in the casino lobby, you will never get bored and hungry as they have various restaurants. And if you feel like walking there are near resto and convenience stores around. Near to bus station too if you dont feel like driving just hop in the bus to get around reno.

The gaming area did not have too many options and if you are playing in the area of the casino by the Oyster Bar restaurant, there are homeless people that stay at the machines to charge their phones. I saw one who after an individual left a glass of his drink, the homeless person went and drank what was left, then he moved on to check other machines to check for drinks there too. It made me very uncomfortable to be in that area. I was surprised that a cleaning lady was there and did not say anything or call the security. The gaming machines were dirty too, some more than the others. I barely saw people winning anything there compared with other casinos. Young people were walking around in the casino even after 11 pm, which I was really surprised to see. That was not a norm in the past. I know that times are changing but at least have security walk around in the casino. Some of this young man were very rowdy and disrespecting.

It was great and clean staff were wonderful
- 2/5
Close to downtown: never clean the room.
- 3/5
Was not impressed with the dining options for a family and nothing is in walking distance. The place feels “tired”
- 5/5
Nice view of the mountains and city. Great food again in the oyster bar at happy hour.

Clean and beautiful hotel
- 5/5
Clean room. Quiet. Easy access through the parking garage
- 3/5
Staff was not very welcoming, no extra shampoos, extra towels never came, pool showers did not work- freezing water.
- 2/5
We had no air conditioning for four and a half days . The sink was clogged. The coffee shop was bad took for ever. Toilet seat was so old it was bad . We have stayed here before but it wasn’t that bad.we won't be staying there again
- 2/5
Customer service was a major letdown. The valet was consistently slow and seemed completely uninterested, with little sense of urgency or concern for guests. The hotel also felt overcrowded at all times. One reason we chose this hotel was the Starbucks on-site, thinking it would make breakfast easy. Instead, the line never seemed to drop below 20 people, and waiting 30–45 minutes for coffee or food became the norm. To top it off, we found ants in our room. Between the noise, crowds, poor service, and lack of attention to basic cleanliness, the stay was frustrating and not an experience we would repeat.
- 3/5
Only complaint is that the bed and pillows were so uncomfortable.
- 4/5
Charged to valet park and difficult to park due toa poor plan for traffic. Extremely disorganized over Al with the valet service. Food prices were too expensive for the type of service and overall quality of food.
- 3/5
I booked a room for two queen beds due to 3 people in my group. However, when I checked in, I got a king bed. Had to request a roll away bed. Not too comfortable with one of my party. Also, only received two towels, two complimentary water — should have been 3 each due to our party size.
- 4/5
Need more cocktail waitresses on the floor
- 4/5
The hot tub did not seem very clean. There wasn’t a microwave in the room (I’m sure to encourage you to only eat what they were selling). They at least left a small 10 ounce bottle of water to drink or use for coffee. It was nice they had a Starbucks in the lobby but it was $20 for 2 drinks! The steakhouse had terrible quality of seafood across the board and it was very expensive for the quality you recieved. Keep in mind you are right off I-80 and you will hear that all night.
- 5/5
Excellent service
- 4/5
Overall good experience, great stay if you have kids and affordable. The elevator on the casino side is undergoing construction so expect to be frustrated.
- 3/5
Cigarette smell and smoke is just too extreme for us to come back to this property.
- 4.5/5
Overall everything went well. I like the fact that the hotel has a airport shuttle which make it easier for the customers.
- 1.5/5
Bad service 3 nights didnt clean the room once. Rude front desk.
- 1/5
Location Dirty, lack of parking for non locals No housekeeping ever Failure to return lost item left behind (theft)
- 4/5

- 3/5
Location was not too far from convention center and the indoor pool was on a different floor from casino. The cafe was accessible but kind of slow Next to noisy train, only like 2 elevators worked, arcade needs better games. The room we stayed in, the drain to the tub was clogged. Casino reeked of smoke.
- 4/5
The breakfast at Rosie's was great so was dinner The last night we were there which was Saturday I was gambling at the black jack table and the slot machines the only place I got free drinks was at the tables and slots but as soon as I gambled at the bar on those poker machines the bartenders would like avoid serving drinks I got one drink ? but after that they would see my drink was empty and pushed to the end of the bar a few of us asked the bartender why we are not getting served and he said he didn't have to refill are drinks but one time an hour so everybody left the bar the only people he was serving was non gamblers..
- 3/5
Not having a working AC. Requested fans and we didn’t get them. For a weird reason we kept getting more towels, our room was listed for service and towels. I asked for fans then and was informed she didn’t have them only towels or coffee items.
- 2/5
Location was good Room had dog hair on the carpet, the sheets and blankets had stains. The shower and faucet for the tub ran at the same time. There was no microwave in the room. Exposed electrical panel near elevators, in which half weren't working
- 4/5
desk service was excellent, the room was clean and not bad smell, quiet and easy to find the right side mattress comforters it has a very nasty stain spot about 3 to 4 inches long by 2 inch wide that 's looks nasty like blood. this is may first time staying, i hope next time be better.
- 4/5
It worked, nothing special about it. I think the price is stupid for what it was!

Stayed on the 7th floor of resort tower. Just stopping over for rest on long road trip. It was a nightmare… heard trains running most of the night, large banging noises. It was terrible and I got little to no sleep! Beware of low numbered floors.
- 2/5
This will be the last time we ever book a room with a casino/“resort”. What a joke and quite frankly it’s a dump.
- 4/5
Clean room, staff was fast and helpful.

Arrived at 12.30am. Check in took too long. 4 staff behind counter and 4 people in line. Waited about 15 minutes to check in. Room toilet was broken. Had to wait 15 minutes for the engineer to come and fix the toilet. We asked for none smoking and the room smelled smoking. We went to bed at 1.45am. We were expecting to wake up at 10am......At 8am. The housekeeping knocked on the door and woke us up. At 9am we had another housekeeping knock on the door. Did not enjoy our stay. Did not get any sleep at all.

Love the views of the Biggest lil City in the World, Night and Day! Very Clean, Staff is very friendly! It is my second time staying @ the Nugget in the past year & I can’t wait till my next trip to Reno.
- 2/5
The hotel room was extremely noisy due to its close proximity to the freeway. Throughout the night, constant traffic sounds, loud trucks, and made it nearly impossible to sleep. Even with the windows closed, the noise level was unacceptable for a hotel stay that is supposed to provide rest and comfort. I was repeatedly awakened during the night and did not feel rested at all the next morning
- 5/5
the service at rosys cafe was horrible. we got in at 10pm cafe was only place open to eat. at least 7 workers were standing around with nobody coming to take order took over 1 hr to get food. hopefully that is a 1 time happening

We loved the vidit

It’s just an upscale hotel, add the word resort and they charge you another $150.00 fee. As resorts that I have stayed they had breakfast or you don’t have to pay for it and they were a lot nicer.

Easy check in / check out Nice Room Size The pillows on the bed were no good 0/10 I ordered 2 foam pillows but those pillows were the same as on the bed The resort should OFFER firm FOAM PILLOWS to their guests I had trouble sleeping due to the hotel pillows (too soft and lumpy)
- 5/5
The resort fee. $90 for 2 days and only used 4 towels for swimming. There is no continental breakfast. Front desk staff was great.
- 5/5
Room was very spacious and clean. Staff was present and helpful upon check in. The shuttle service they provide is also a God-send. The price is actually more than fair to stay there. TV had a good selection for the hotel. Beautiful view from the casino tower as well.

I asked for a "higher the better" room. I was placed on the 22st floor with an incredible vire of the Reno-Tahoe Airport. The view coukd not have been better.

We stayed for one night on the way from Salt Lake City to San Francisco. It was a great place to spend the night to relax and enjoy the pool and the hot tub. Our room was clean and spacious and the 2 queen beds were very comfortable. The in room safe was a plus. Parking spots were plenty but may need a bit walking to and from the property.
- 3/5
I was at the hotel fpr 4 nights on the third night there was an event security would not let me into the parking garage without paying $20 They suggested I go to the west parking where there was no parking available. took me 30 minutes to park made me late for a dinner with my son at Roxy. No one at the front desk relayed that the "free parking " at the hotel would cost.
- 5/5
Clean room, helpful staff and enjoyable
- 3/5
Our air conditioner didn’t work. Well, the window was closed, but it sounded like it was open, heard all the traffic from the freeway, no microwave, couldn’t warm up leftovers, seems to me it was staged, I just want you to keep buying food…..

-Showed up the first evening to no parking. Valet was full, so we drove the entire parking lot to the West to find zero spots with several rvs and trailers occupying multiple ones. Went through the entire parking garage twice to find zero spots as well. The second time leaving the garage, there were employees directing us to another chained up lot where we were finally able to park. Then we began the 15-20 minute walk to get to the resort tower elevator on the complete opposite side of the property. -Front desk staff did not have conjoining rooms for us even though I had called the previous week to make the request, and was told it would be noted and accommodated. -Price was a bit more expensive with the resort fees than what was quoted by the site. At this point I am so frustrated I don’t even care to ask questions or argue. We will just stay 6 rooms away from each other and hope the kids don’t destroy the room. -TVs in both rooms had spots on them that made viewing inconvenient. -A/C quit putting out cool air during the night in both rooms, and we spent the evening sweating in our sleep. I called the next day around 1 to alert the staff since the problem persisted, and it was getting much hotter in the rooms. They said it was property wide and they were told 20 minutes prior about it, and their engineers were working it. Seemed odd since it had been going on since the previous evening. -First night at the pool, no towels available. Positive -island grill pizza

- 3/5
Two-night stay on a busy Friday\Sat night. The casino areas were extremely smoke-smelling and difficult to walk through at times. Elevators were very slow (there was a posted apology for this in the room), and the room did not get cleaned between nights. Restaurants were not adequately staffed so I had to purchase meals off property. Not all electric car chargers were working. Staff was pleasant, but overall the property could improve cleanliness and air quality.
- 5/5

- 3/5
Elevator checking out was a nightmare.
- 3/5
The hotel in the room we're great. But the lack of staffing at the tables left a lot to be desired.

It was a good stay, loved my room and the bell hop service. I found the front desk experience, slow. The casino was okay, but it was not very busy. Overall it was fine, but not memorable.

The property itself was clean. I felt safe in my surroundings. The room was very nice. We did however have an extra kiddo stay with us so we called down for extra blankets that never made it to our room. The point of our staycation was to take the kids swimming to give them some fun time and the pool was disgusting. The water was murky both in the pool and the hot tub. The only nice thing about that amenity is that it's indoors that's why we chose to stay there to begin with. Kudos too Expedia for the room rates they were able to offer. Going directly through the Nugget it would have cost us $239 for one night and I got the room for $119 using my Expedia app!
- 5/5
We booked the hotel mainly for the indoor pool because. We have small children and they love to swim. The weather was still too cold for them to swim outside. We love how big their indoor pool was and especially loved the fact that there were individual little swimming pools that allowed us to have our 3 month old swim without getting splashed all over from other swimmers in the pool.

Room had a view . In between a freeway and train depot very noisy even from the highest floor
- 4/5
Convient for us to visit local family. Clean comfortable. Nice casino and Rosie's restaurant was good. The slots were fun and we won a little. The trains were unnerving when we first arrive in our room. They were hooking up cars below our room and it sounded like an explosion. Thank fully it only went on during the day but a couple times made us jump. Very quiet at night. We were disappointed that the island grill was closed all four days we were there.
- 4/5
Nice accomodations
- 5/5
Lobby and public areas were clean and recently remodeled. While the room was somewhat dated it was clean and comfortable. The room did get hot in the afternoons with the sun beating in.
- 2/5
The room was huge and the resturant was amazing. But our nonsmoking room had the stink of old stale weed and the bed was as comfortable as a sheet of plywood. Everything else was great but if the bed is too uncomfortable to really sleep on, it makes the stay uncomfortable. But at least I won some money since I couldnt sleep

The room was clean but it was soooo smoky. We were on the Casino tower on floor 23 - should have been far enough away from the casino floor - but it was miserable. No matter how we adjusted the air it was horrible. The towels were sparing for a 5 night stay. The closest was in poor condition and the remote didn’t work all the time. Breakfast at Rosies was good, coffee was consistently burnt and terrible 4 out of the 5 mornings. Gaming machines were also VERY DIRTY.

We stay on floor 21 and specifically rooom 2125. We could hear all the room from next door. We did not need to hear them going at it. Additionally we could all the car traffic. So didn’t get much sleep. We will not be staying there again.

what’s closest to the freeway but the parking was impossible it’s still a funky casino, but I don’t care because I didn’t gamble anyway
- 2.5/5
Not very much. The shower was okay. The price was okay and the staff were friendly. The toilet didn’t flush properly. The sink drained very slowly. The HVAC system was so noisy I had to turn it off in the middle of the night and open a window for ventilation. This made me even more aware of how noisy that location is being adjacent to both a freeway and a railroad yard. Even on a floor in the mid twenties it was loud. I was awakened multiple times during the night.

Always love the nugget. Off strip prices, recently renovated rooms

Lots of wear and tear on furniture, and bathroom. Ans got walked into the morning of checkout by staff.

What made the stay worse was the lack of housekeeping during our 4-day visit. We were told there were no clean towels or washcloths available and no housekeeping service. I also ordered room service, received a message saying delivery was closed, but was still charged a $45 room service fee. Very frustrating experience, especially for someone who stays here regularly. Hoping management addresses these issues because this was far below the standard I’m used to here.
- 5/5
The only negative was the pool chlorine was way to strong.
- 3/5
It’s not a very convenient location if you’re looking to visit the “downtown” tourist area or be at the convention center.
- 5/5
Loved the pool
- 4/5
Great size rooms, plenty of parking and room cost was great
- 3/5
The Mountain views from the room were beautiful. The windows weren't as clean as they could be to enjoy them fully. The room was dusty. Needs better air quality. The bed was very comfortable. The water pressure and temperature were fabulous. I did not eat on site
- 5/5
Rooms in the resort tower are always clean and spacious. Towels on request quiet
- 4/5
It was extremely clean and the people checking us in were very nice
- 3/5
Overall, Nugget and our stay was great. What brought it done to 3 stars was the AC hardly worked. Room was hot and I couldn’t sleep despite being set to lowest temperature
- 3/5
I have stayed before and this time it wasn’t as pleasant. I took the weekend to relax and not do chores but room wasn’t clean I had to do my own room service. I didn’t bring shampoo or soap because usually there are some toiletries but not this time. I did ask for some because they came with the room but they were short on staff. I traveled a lot and this is my first “not a good stay review “. Food is limited also only 2 places open and 4 out of 4 adults said that the food wasn’t worth the price.

👍super clean and very comfortable.

Large, clean rooms. Helpful staff. Room I stayed in did not have a microwave. I had one meal at the Rosie's cafe, shrimp alfredo, which for $27 felt a little mediocre. My advice for staying here is to pickup / pack plenty of snacks to keep in the minifridge !

We love staying at the Nugget. Really nice quiet rooms. great food and the staff are friendly. Great room prices during the week.
- 4/5
Stayed one night. Not terrible for the price. Had dinner at the steakhouse it wasnt bad. And Starbucks is right in the lobby and was perfect at 6am.
- 4/5
Check-in went very smooth
- 4/5
The staff were great in every way. Why are there no microwave ovens in the rooms? I read there was a common area in the hotel where there was a microwave. That is no longer true.
- 5/5
No complimentary breakfast and no microwave were the only issues we had with this Hotel, The pool and gym was clean and functional
- 5/5
The pool and jacuzzi was awesome. The casino and bars good and a lot of fun. Rosie's Cafe food is good. They don't have enough staff and it stinks trying to get seated-even when the place is empty. Happened all 3 times I went. Anthony's Chop House was really good.

The young lady at the desk was amazing. I was so impressed with her work I wrote her a thank you note and gave it to the manager 5 stars

This place was very clean, staff were nice..... Waiter in the restaurant was very nice..... Would stay here again.
- 3/5
As far as the room goes, it probably hadn't been dusted in several years and the tub drained super slow. When it was time for check out the bell hop came for our luggage one of us rode down with him and the other went for the car. He took our luggage to a room and not straight to the car. Not sure the reason why when I was waiting.

We stayed at the Nugget because we were attending a concert at the Nugget Event Center. Being able to stay across the street from the concert venue was advantageous.
- 5/5
Free parking
- 3/5
Came for a concert….the staff was completely confused and not knowing what they were doing. I paid 1200. For a front row seat and they had the nerve to tell me I had to sit down. I don’t think so! Shortly thereafter another employee came and told us we could stand. What’s front row at a concert if not for dancing?!
- 3/5
Very quiet casino with only very few table games available. Crap table only partially open on Sunday and no dealers available to operate it after that. Very boring ! I wouldn't advise someone to visit this casino anytime soon. Food at John's Seafood was very good and prices were reasonable. I don't recommend breakfast at their other restaurant.
- 5/5
Very good option
- 5/5
Very nice place
- 4/5
The hotel is in general good shape, the bad thing was the shower and the ultra low toilet. The shower is still in an old fiberglass tub with a plastic curtain more like what you would find in a cheap motel with a bad showerhead that should be a newer hose type, par to the price of the hotel. Likewise, those ridiculously low toilets make it very hard to use for older or people with mobility issues. When you clean yourself you end up touching the dirty water inside the toilet...
- 2/5
Corridors were dark and dingy, room is in need for a renovation, blackout drapes only extend 3/4 of the way to the floor, public restrooms had sticky floors.

The first room had a leak in the ceiling onto the tiled bathroom floor, which i slipped and sadly pulled a muscle. They moved us to another room. The coffee maker didnt work. It wasnt ideal, glad we only stayed 1 night.

Elevator was a little creepy, new updates are needed

The room was nice. I dined at Anthony's Chophouse and was amazed by how good the food was. I also won $700 playing craps, so it was a good trip overall.

Always a good time staying at the Nugget
- 4/5
Staff were very kind, this is such a great stay for the price, our resort tower room was clean, and the views from the top floors are amazing! The only thing they need to improve on is keeping shady characters out of the lobby. They try and climb into the elevators behind you and it’s creepy with a wife and family around. Overall a 4/5! Will stay here again!
- 5/5
My favorite place!! Service excellence
- 5/5
Great room and staff was very helpful and polite
- 5/5
We had a good stay and enjoyed our time. Everything went smoothly, and we would consider staying again.

We did not have any hot water one night and room was not made up. When I asked about not having hot water they told me that a heater was out but did not offer compensation or notify us in advance asking us if we wanted to change rooms.

The reservation was for the weekend and you only made it for one night which meant I had to go somewhere else for a second night, which was far better because the nugget and their service was less than what I would expect from Reno years prior

There was no Room service done for us. We had to call them to get the service done. Even then the cleanliness was just ok.

Great room, heated swimming pool and service staff. I've been there a hand full of times, this time with children, and will go again
- 3/5
The hotel itself is very nice. We went to Rosie’s Grill for breakfast and probably one of the worst service I’ve ever had. The service was extremely SLOW and I overheard a couple of servers complaining out loud near customers avoid the place
- 5/5
We don’t Have any interacción with anyone just the front desk to check in and out
- 5/5
Friendly check in staff, clean and beautiful room.
- 5/5
I absolutely love staying at the Nugget. We always stay on the resort side, and it's spacious, clean and comfortable. I want to take the time to give a shout out to Sean who works at the check in desk. He is outstanding. His customer service is out of this world. He's friendly and goes out of his way to make your check in process smooth. He deserves a raise.

Nice, huge and clean room
- 1/5
Terrible service. I called to see if I could add an additional day. They said yes that I could combine my reservation. I came in, the recetionist did not seem to know what she was doing. It key taking her for ever to do the reservation. I explained the situation and she said I would just need to check in with them again in the morning. When I came to let them know that my keys were no longer working they charged me for an additional deposit. In total aside from what I had paid through Orbitz was over $600. The room had bigger stains on the walls, and the tub was dirty. The fire alarm was beeping, and the remote wasn’t working. Though they charged me for the deposit 2 times, they didn’t care to send housekeeping in. Over all the service was terrible and I will never be stepping foot here. It’s not walking distance from down town.
- 3/5
Elevator, not work
- 2/5
The jetted tub didn’t work.
- 4/5
Stay was good. Frustrating part was there were only 2 elevators working on the casino tower side. Made the wait very long to get up and down from the room. Apparently they’re redoing the elevators.

Shower was leaking and toilet was not working properly
- 5/5
The room was great, check in was quick, and the restaurant was good.
- 1/5
The bathroom had not been cleaned properly. I have never complained to staff and requested new (or repeat) cleaning at a hotel before- but the hair balls and lack curly hairs around the toilet were simply too disgusting to ignore. It took 3 calls, and a very rude room attendant and three managers before it was properly done. I booked three rooms at the hotel and my compensation for such awful customer service and a disgusting King Suite was a credit of two resort fees in the one room. The first full day at the hotel, we went to the pool with the intention of swimming. Huge mistake. The water was cloudy, foamy, and had literal floating hair clumps. Then we noticed the very obviously yellow tinted water coming from the water fall into the pool. Clearly their filtration NOT up to par. We did not feel comfortable swimming in that. I chose this hotel for its indoor pool and reasonably priced rooms- not worth it! Such a disappointment.

Very clean, spacious room.
