Nice hotel. Not happy they charged me $10 a day to park. It’s not a garage or covered parking.

I told the front desk I was having surgery that is why I was there for 7 days. They put me on the first floor where the lobby bar is and across the hall from the staff back office. The door opens and slams closed 50 times a day. The staff are also incredibly loud. I had to keep my blackout shade down because people walk by my window which is like a motel. The air conditioner does not work and when on is so loud and then shuts off, restarting with a boom. Worst stay and what a dump. Looks nice online but more like a hostel or motel 6.

Room prices were doubled because there was a nascar race in the area. Charged for parking and limited restaurant. The hotel atmosphere felt like it was an old Holiday Inn

We thought the location was excellent. We were spending a fair amount of time during this visit in Dallas so the easy access to the highway and being on the east side of Southlake was helpful. The room was noticeably in need of repair. Faucets were not attached in some cases to the sink, door handles were completely missing in the bathroom and the layout of the junior suite we were in made no sense whatsoever. It looked like the random furniture was placed with no regard for the person or people staying there.

Great stay! The hotel was very clean, and the staff was incredibly helpful and polite throughout our visit. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of great options to start the day. It was also a big plus that it’s within walking distance to Starbucks, which made grabbing a quick coffee super convenient. I would definitely stay here again!

Only thing, there was no microwave in the room. Loved the espresso machine in the room. Housekeeping did a wonderful job.

Our television was not working properly and we were looking forward to seeing a particular game on ESPN and we were unable to see it. There was no coffee available on Sunday morning in the lobby and we didn’t have time to stay for breakfast. The room was extremely dark and the room lights were on the same switch as the bathroom lights which is very inconvenient . We will not stay here again.

Overall Room was very nice but while in the bar area trying to order some drinks and food to-go the staff assisting the main bartender did not bother taking our order and instead took the order of the people around us and whoever else came after us. Main Bartender was very sweet and very friendly, drinks she made were also very good. Besides that I enjoyed my overall stay.

I requested the housekeeper to clean our room after 2pm and also the front desk at 3:30pm, but my room was never cleaned. A man just walked into the room in the morning of checkout when I was still sleeping. The checkout was indicated at 12pm on the Expedia website, but I found that it was actually 11am in the morning of check out. The front desk confirmed no additional charge from the hotel when I checked out, but $30 was charged on my credit card...................

The air didn’t work, never got below 73 in the room. Was too tired to go back to the front and ask for a different room and toughed it out. Was a little disappointed that the front desk didn’t attempt to make an concessions.

The gentleman at the desk was great, very good customer service in every interaction. Above and beyond anywhere we've stayed before. I did not personally like the bathroom, no shower door and the barn style door on the outside was hard to stay closed. When it would fall open the toilet is directly positioned from the toilet. And since there's no door to the shower I suppose you could watch TV while you shower. Very odd choices of layout. Loved how large the towels were. Bed was comfortable, especially the soft blanket.

Andrew at the front desk is excellent! With his client service excellence, he should be in upper management. I would recommend this stay 💯 very clean, comfy beds, great linens, quiet and love the reading nook with chaise. This is a wonderful place and will be our go to every time.

We needed a band aid and they gave us one. The room was really clean, and the bed was comfortable. The location was very good. It is a hidden gem. We will be staying there again.

The hotel lobby was under construction. The room we were given was not acceptable in that the a/c and fridge were not working. Room change was in a dirty hall with a lot of rooms under renovation. Not how we wanted to celebrate our anniversary.

Awful! The walls are so thin you can hear everything! TV’s, housekeeping yelling down the halls & I do mean YELL! Every single day I had to hear the staff laughing, yelling at each other, even wheeling each other around & taking pics on top of crates! Crates because the place is under renovation! Which wasn’t mentioned. One guest yelled down the hall for them to shut up! But they laughed, literally laughed at her. I was there 8 days & only asked for my room to be cleaned 2. They missed my room one of those 2 days. Even with the request hanging on my door. Prob too busy riding around on crates while taking selfies. I asked for a working iron, mine wasn’t. It took 2 trips, the 2 other ones also didn’t work. Power went out while I was there. They had no TV, they had to buy a fire stick, no food service. Front desk staff were great. The white/ male day manager didn’t want to be bothered even to say hello. This was truly a nightmare!! Rates def do not reflect the renovations! I have already expressed to my traveling friends to stay away! Anywhere but the Southlake Hotel!!

Load AC unit running in hall made it hard to sleep without interruption.

The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and efficient and it was easy check in. There was a fire alarm in the morning before we checked out, some malfunction, I doubt it is a regular occurrence.

When went down for meet with family spoke with the desk clerk about these problems. He informed us that they were doing construction on the 3rd floor but 4th floor was available. My question was why did they book us on 3rd floor if 4th did not have construction going on?

Couldn't find any negatives to be honest...

The beds were comfortable. The shower floor was very slick! And there weren't grab bars. Had to put a towel on the floor of the shower to keep from falling. No shower wash in the pump. A maintenance man tried to access the room to work on the refrigerator. This should have been done before check in. We had the do not disturb sign on and still 2 hours to check out and the maid staff knocked on the door! Also bathroom door didn't stay all the way shut.

So the things we were looking for simply weren’t here and there was no mention of it at booking. The front desk said the restaurant was closed due to limited occupancy in the hotel. Not a good stay.

Very nice modern furnished hotel, but did have some wear and the remodeling is getting it back to where they wish to be it looks. It was a great value, not noisy and comfortable. I will be back and in a nice area to feel safe.

Love the hotel & complementary water bottles. The staff was amazing fast and friendly. I will guarantee my stay there on future trips to South Lake, TX.

We enjoyed our one night stay for our daughter's birthday trip. Derrick was very friendly and we were able to get a suite to better accommodate our party. Clean and comfortable, would definitely stay again!

Towels were dingy. Bar and breakfast area located in Conference Ball Room. Didn't care for that too much. Nothing too much surrounding area of hotel.

Property is currently under construction so I would wait to stay. The rooms themselves are nice. If you choose to have breakfast, it is $17 for what other hotels give you at no extra charge. Most hotels add a "buffer" to your pending charge for theft or damage, but $200 is excessive and is yet to be corrected and we've been gone for 3 days. Cleaning staff took our ring of keys. Brought them back later, but why would you even pick them up? Just an odd experience all around.

Great location for an event

So we had to move rooms- the new room - the electrical outlets were not functioning in the bathroom. The sink had a slow drain - disgusting. Also the tile in the shower floor was like standing in an ice rink. Dangerously slippery. They provide a very small rubber mat for the floor - but we had to add a towel just to get get out safely. Total lack of courtesy for guests - will Not be back!

The staff were absolutely lovely and when I needed to change my reservation, it was incredibly easy. My room was lovely and relaxing and the shopping center near by made for a wonderful shopping trip! I will definitely be back!

We were just taking a few days alone as a couple. The cookie and ice cream were good from the bistro! However the king size bed was in horrible condition we couldn’t sleep one more night and decided to leave.

Do not believe the pictures! That’s where I went wrong! Those pictures are from the very beginning. My room was not the cleanest. But the breakfast which is not free was delicious! Staff was nice as well.

Check-In process was slow....One person was checking people in, another was unable to check guest in (I don't remember the reason given). That was hoenstly the only hang up we had about our stay. Room was clean, hotel appeared clean.

The front desk attendant was a young gentleman who helped us get checked in. He was very kind and informative. His wonderful attitude really set the tone for the rest of my stay. The property was very upscale and clean. There was NOTHING to complain about during my stay. The pool area was neat, and the rooms spacious. Check in and check out only took a few minutes at most. Again, the staff was wonderful. I will definitely be booking this hotel the next time I am in the area.

We have stayed many times at this hotel, initially when it was the brand new Cambria...it was gorgeous! There are some upgrades that should be done in the rooms since Marriott took over. Lamps and tables need upgrades. Also, the elevators had a bad odor. The reason we stayed here was the convenience of being close to DFW airport for a 5am flight and it was less expensive than our other choices. Worked well for our purpose.

Was in Southlake for a medical procedure. They worked with me on an early check-in, which was greatly appreciated, updated very clean and modern room. many wonderful restaurants to choose from within a few blocks.

Quality of the proposal and amenities

We had planned to stay at another hotel but had to leave due to condition. The Southlake hotel was beautiful, welcoming, and clean. It was a treat to find the unexpected luxury.

Amazing property and staff!

After leaving the Comfort Inn in Grapevine TX (I arrived and could not stay as the cleanliness and air quality was affecting my ability to breathe). Thankfully, this hotel was top notch. I’ll be back!

I love this hotel it is quiet and always clean. The beds are very comfortable

Had a very pleasant stay. Close to highway, quite, clean and customer service was amazing. Lobby bar had a great bartender with good food.

No Microwave in room, price high, and bed too soft. Overall a good place to stay at a high price.

After MANY cancelled flights at DFW, I found this hotel on the expedia app for a last minute stay near midnight. Many customers were in the same boat. The desk agent was amazing. This nice, clean, and affordable hotel was exactly what we needed for a few hours to rest and shower. I highly recommend!

I will never return to this God forsaken place!!!
