    don't stay here, the management sucks, they will cancel your room because "orbitz" is not priority. We booked 2 rooms and they cancelled 1 but we were forced to keep the first one. Now we had to pay full price at some random hotel and drive around everyday between the two hotels. never going here again

    It wasn’t clean and hallways hot and smelled bad. Our reservation for two suites with two queen beds wasn’t upheld because of overbooking I guess even though we booked two months ago. We ended up with one bed and a sofa in both rooms. Not comfortable for our group. And room wasn’t clean.

    I wouldn’t recommend staying the night. Upon arrival I couldn’t find a cart to transfer my luggage and front clerk was very rude. The room was not clean and the noise from traffic kept me up due to bad windows and the breakfast was horrible!

    My recent stay at this hotel was an absolute nightmare, severely impacting what was supposed to be a special weekend with my kids. The primary reason I booked this hotel was for the barbecue grill, which I specifically called ahead to confirm was working and clean. I was assured it was meticulously maintained daily. This was a complete falsehood. Upon arrival, the grill was disgustingly dirty, rendering it unusable for our planned family barbecue. The issues didn't stop there. Despite booking a room with kitchen facilities, it took over an hour for the staff to provide basic kitchenware like pots, pans, and knives – items that should have been readily available. This significantly delayed our ability to prepare any meals. The hotel's amenities were also a major letdown. The pool water was a disturbing green, making it completely uninviting and unusable. Breakfast was equally unappetizing; the food was bland and completely unseasoned. To top it all off, our night was repeatedly interrupted by the smoke detector constantly going off, leading to the fire department showing up! This created an incredibly stressful and sleepless night. Given the misleading information, lack of essential amenities, unsanitary conditions, and disruptive incidents, I absolutely would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

    My husband and I stayed here for graduation at Ole Miss for the weekend. The hotel is very close to shopping and dining. Close to the highway, so noise was kinda noisy. Beds were comfy, bathroom was very nice. TV didn’t work but maybe half of the time we were in our room. But the rooms seemed to be kinda dirty. Sticky stuff on floors and drawer handles. Refrigerator was dirty and ice bucket inside was dirty. When we got off the elevator, a huge trash can was filled with trash was there atleast 24 hours. After it was removed, there was just a black trash bag filled with trash in its place. Employees here were very kind. The breakfast was great, you could tell whomever was running it took pride in what was served and cleanliness, and made sure items were restocked. Coffee was excellent. We probably wouldn’t stay here again. We expected a much cleaner room for the amount of money we paid.

    When I checked in I noticed that there was still fingerprints on every thing, grease smudges on the table, tv and the shower curtain was moldy and orange. The carpet had not been vacuumed. The elevator was grease and just gross.

    This is the first time staying in a Marriott that was visibly dirty. We had to request a room change upon check in due to this and the second room was not much better. Dirt on the carpet, bathroom had not been cleaned. Poor condition all around.Yuck!

    A great property if you have an extended stay - access to kitchen amenities. Very close to many restaurants and shops. The only dislike was that the peoperty was close to the interstate and if you are a light sleeper you will not like the interstate noise.

    Notice that room was dirty upon checking in, but was too tired to do anything about it. Woke up the next morning to find dirty dishes in the dishwasher leftover food in the refrigerator some type of white substance all over the carpet and hair that was not mine all over the vanity and the shower complain to the front desk said he was going to have a total cleaning of the room came back and the only thing that was done was the carpet was vacuumed was vacuumed then I discovered the microwave in the room did not work

    We came back a second time in a week and both times I noticed the floors in the rooms were dirty. There’s crumbs everywhere and the bed frame extends really far out. I placed the trash can next to it to avoid hurting myself but still got caught on it. First night wasn’t too loud outside but second night was disruptive. Location is good. I’m not against staying here again for work.

    For starters, check in is at 3pm we had a baseball tournament and i called at 3 to make sure we had a room since our 1st game was at 3pm. The lady said yes ma'am your all good told them it would be around 9:30 before we would be there said totally fine you have already paid. Get here at 9:30pm and she said i am still cleaning your room.... do WHAT... get a room 1st thing when you walk in the it was HOT ... the air would not come on they had someone come check it out he said yup the air is out so by this time its 10:25pm we get another room air works but is dirty there was a dirty wet towel still hanging in the bathroom behind the door. Hair on the sink and food pieces still on the floor.

    The stay was fine. The fact that there was a lack of communication costed me funds I really can't afford. I called the hotel directly to let them know I was going to be very late checking in, & was told it was documented & fine. However when I arrived my entire reservation had been cancelled & I was forced to pay the hotel an additional 2 night stay for the last 2 days of the 3 day reservation that had been cancelled. I had already paid hotels.com for the entire 3 days!😥. How can that be rectified?!

    This experience at this Marriott location was deeply disappointing and falls far below the expected standards of the brand. Firstly, the property seems to have only a limited number of suites, and the cleanliness of these rooms was concerning. The tub in our suite still had a visible dirt ring and was difficult to clean due to a slow-draining issue that left standing water. Additionally, the showerhead was taped in place, making it impossible to adjust, forcing us to shower at an awkward angle. The condition of the furniture was equally troubling. The couch appeared unclean, with random nuts and bolts found under the ottoman that didn't seem to belong to anything. The refrigerator and freezer were covered in dust and hadn't been cleaned inside. A dirty dish was left in the dishwasher, and the floors were sticky, yet no mop was available when requested. The nightstands and phone were both dusty and sticky, with evidence of something spilled on them that had not been properly cleaned. The carpet showed signs of a poorly executed patch job. Given the reputation and price point of the Marriott brand, this was one of the worst experiences I've had. It's especially unacceptable that both suites we booked were in such poor condition, with one even lacking pillowcases on the pillows. For a brand of this caliber, the level of cleanliness and attention to detail was shocking and disappointing.

    Property was convenient to several restaurants and shopping areas. Rooms were clean. We went down for breakfast our first morning, listed as ‘til 10am per the website, and the staff were rapidly cleaning around 930. Borderline annoyed we were in their way. We mentioned it to the staff at the desk who pointed to their paper posting that said it was until 930 am, said it had been that way for 5 years. When we showed them the website, he remarked, “is that this location?” To which we replied it was. No Apology, no sorry for any misunderstanding, nothing. For Marriott to have built their reputation on customer service, this wasn’t up to par.

    The air was working properly after we went to bed. I called downstairs and was told there was no one to check it, so at 1something in the am I had to go to the car to get my fan. At this time the young lady gave me batteries to put in hoping that would help the thermostat. It did not. I’ve stayed here so many times but this trip was not it. Overall it is really a nice hotel. Located in a great spot. Everything you need is a short drive away.

    From the outside, this property looks very inviting and promising. However, once inside it was so filthy and it smelled terrible. Nothing we could do, because it was already paid for! Our room was tiny and disgusting! Dead flies everywhere, and one on the bed! The counters all felt greasy and the mirror was filthy! At one point my husband turned on the kitchen sink and water leaked everywhere from under the counter! The bathroom had dried bugs and “other” dried things on the walls too! Morning couldn’t have come fast enough!

    Initial room adjacent to major highway. After awake all night from noise, requested a move to another room. They mentioned at the time of this request, that many people request a different room when placed near the highway. The new room, had no pan or spatula as in the previous room for the extended stay purpose of this hotel. In addition, the microwave was not working, multiple lightbulbs were burnt out, the toilet paper rack was falling off the wall, the bathtub drain was clogged, and there was a toothpick under the cushion of the chair. Requested the next day for the microwave to be repaired, and obtain a spatula and frying pan. Neither occurred over the course of the five day stay. No further acknowledgment of any of our requests made. Garbage bags that we were instructed to leave in the hallway for were not picked up for over 24 hours on at least one occasion. Overall, the hotel is poorly maintained, and poorly managed. An overall very disappointing experience after a pleasant stay at the Ocala Florida location of this hotel. The difference clearly related to management.
