Exceptional

My plans for future visits to the Memphis area will include Quilty Inn Southaven. Overall cleanliness was excellent including rooms, lobby area, and breakfast section. I will give the staff an A+.

Good place to stay only nine minutes from the airport!

Everything was good

Clean and safe. Easy to get to. The room smelled like cigarette smoke but like they were trying to to cover it. It also smelled musty.

It was a nice to see a clean room, the beds were clean. My family were very happy and had a comfortable stay!

The room was clean and staff were good. Basic amenities but good enough for what we wanted overnight.

The "free" breakfast was a joke. Everything was prepackaged except for the waffles and the staff was not refilling anything. The ice machine on the bottom floor was empty. When we returned to our room at the end of the day, it was not cleaned, no new towels, the trash was not emptied, the bed was not maid up. When I told the man at the front desk he said they send text to ask about room cleaning but we both check our text for that day and we did NOT get any such text. We will never stay at a Quality Inn again,

Nice breakfast. We got locked out of our room because the door code was changed while we were at breakfast. The room smelled.

For a wake up call He told me he didn’t know how to do that He said he would leave a note for the person coming at 11pm. At 11pm we were asleep and wake from a call from the front drsk. My husband told him we wanted a wake up call at 5am. We were also given a handcap room. At brrakfast we both st cersl and when we took onr bitebwe realized the milk was spoiled. I told the person at the front desk and he cleaned the container and refilled it. They also charged me a $100 deposit. When I checked out I asked if that would be taken off my crrdit card and I was told it could take up tp 5 days. In the pass it was tsken off right away. The person at the front desk when we arrived was hard to understand.He was not helpful.

Tv had garbled sound. Locked out of room while loading. Breakfast was a joke. Package of mini wheats only had 6 pieces. Orange juice tasted awful. Room bathroom carpet definitely need to be replaced/updated

The motel (rooms are accessed from the parking lot) was showing age and use. The room was clean, the coffee awful and we’ll see if I get my “$100 we think you are going to tear something up” deposit back.

The pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. There were 5 motorcycles outside our window going and coming late at night and playing their radio very loud while sitting outside.

The sink light did not work well and flickered when switched on. I asked for extra pillows, and they would not deliver them to the room.

My 1st room I had a couple of roaches in and had to be moved. They lived quickly to get me moved and it’s possible the previous person left them. My door didn’t flushly close so I heard everything from outside. Every morning around 7 there was a bunch of bumping and the same loud charger woke me up

I arrived around 1 in the morning and was ready for bed. Then noticed the shower did not have a shower curtain. There was also pubic hair in the tub before I got in to shower. Didn't notice it until it was to late. I have black straight hair, the pubic hair was red curly hair. I let the front desk know at check out, so hopefully the next person doesn't deal with this issue.

The quality of the room for the price was awesome. However the breakfast was not good at all. The coffee comes from a hot chocolate machine which tastes just like that, awful. Need better choice of food for customers.

More food variety and parking was satisfactory

The air conditioner kicked off before it cooled off in our room. The housekeeping lady was rude, but cleaned well. The secretary was very nice and gave us milk for our child so we didn’t have to leave and go get some.the breakfast was nasty eggs where old and juice was hot. Overall it was worth the 100$.

The door to our room had a gap that was letting light come thru. As well as lots of noise. Asked for a discount. The clerk said the Manager is the only one to help me. That went no where.

The room was surprisingly lare and despite there being a loose screw in the bathroom doorway, the amenities were decent. Had to figure out the TV, but there were a lot of stations.

Room was clean. There was a tiny bit of what appeared to be mold in the shower.

Very nice clean room. Bed and pillows extra comfy. Surprisingly quiet and convenient area. Refrigerator not that cool was the only issue.

I must say when I first arrived I had made up my mind I was only staying 1 night. Because the entry was outside. I wasn't used to that. But it was clean and I did feel safe. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

The rooms were clean and smelled wonderful. Sheets and bedding were so clean and comfortable . Staff were very welcoming and kind . The breakfast was wonderful because it was something for everyone depending on a persons diet. Lastly, it smelled so clean and wonderful.

The morning staff were not friendly at all. The breakfast was not good. Stains were all on the bed linen. TV would not work and the staff didn't want to change out the TV and did not want tonkive me. After speaking with management, I was able to move to a room that was just a little bit better.

The location is great, the room was very nice, and willingness to accommodate our request for a 1st floor room was great also! The bed was so comfortable !!! The water pressure and temperature was great also! The little things like water pressure and water temp is important me, and this place was spot on!

Non smoking room smelled like cigarettes, when I got to work everyone said I smelled like cigarettes. How is a non-smoking room smell so bad?

roach ran across microwave. walls were dirty in bathroom. large crack in the ceiling. but the bed was clean and cool and we enjoyed the smoking room option. that refrigerator is A1.

Room was clean. Rug needs updating. Sink faucet was loose. Also, hotel close to airport and you can hear the planes at night. Bed is set like on hollow metal frame which is noising when you sit, get up or just move on the bed.

Very friendly front desk staff. They sent out textx daily asking if there was anything we needed. Beds were comfortable, very hot water and great water pressure. Pool was never crowded when we were there and was nice. Location was in a great place, very clean and quiet. Breakfast was good for grab and go. Would definitely stay there again.

I incorrectly booked a smoking room. The front desk staff went to lengths to correct this for me. They were near capacity but made it work. I wanted to extend my stay and again, they made it happen even though they were near capacity. The staff were excellent.

I recommend staying here for a clean quiet stay. Guest services personnel were kind and efficient. The price is very reasonable.

Upon arrival we opened the door and the dirt smell hit me in thw face. The carpet was filthy. They need to remodel or at least clean the carpet. The smell was just horrible. Would not recommend.

The room was ok. It was a large room so the extra space was great. The light above the mirror was terrible! You couldn't see anything. It was right down the street from a great little Mom & Pop diner! Their food was really good.

Everything was fine except for the weed smell and people smoking in the pool area, shouting and inviting friends that were not staying at the hotel. There were 8 of them in the pool playing Marco Polo and with a ball. The two of us had to leave. Impossible to be there.

I always get a good night's rest every time I stay here.

Check in was smooth. Ceiling in room cracked and Sheetrock was peeling. Water bugs in bathroom. Notified housekeeper but it was still in bathroom when I returned from dinner.

It was peaceful. We didn't have to worry about noise or anyone hanging out in the parking lot. It was worth the money spent.

Disliked: Entry to rooms from outside (safety concern), in a semi industrial area. Limited food options and not close to restaurants, nor other food options.

The night we stayed, there were at least 3 separate occasions where a vehicle could be heard speeding through the parking lot. Parking spaces were tight.

The amenities

It isnt bad but isnt great. Had a very musty smell. It isnold and has been renovated. Again, not bad but would probs look for something else next time.

The front person was okay. Not overly friendly, but accommodating when we asked for extra linens. Rooms were clean. HOWEVER, when we came back from dinner our bathroom was filled with the smell of POT, it was coming in through the vent! Just so offensive!

The property was great for the night. AC was cold, shower was great, bed was very comfortable and front desk staff was very accommodating.

It’s a quality inn so you get what you get lol. Decent hotel that’s nicely priced. The area around the hotel is nice with plenty of food options nearby. Walls were a little dirty in the room and bathroom, but the bed was comfortable. I’d give it a 6.5/10, I would go back just for the price.

We were impressed that there were 2 waste baskets! But the tub faucet dripped continuously, and we couldn't figure out how to work the air conditioner, but the TV, fridge, lights & coffee maker worked, beds were comfortable, the shower was clean & safe, the lobby beautiful, the staff, sweet.

Rooms were average. Continental breakfast is nothing to brag about, we went elsewhere for our second day. Staff were very polite and helpful. Got a great recommendation to go visit; Bass Pro Shop Pyramid, totally worth taking the time to check it out!

Best in class, locally. I've stayed at a number of similarly priced motel in the Memphis/West Memphis/Southhaven area and this one FAR EXCEEDED my expectations. I came in open minded and left impressed. Great job to the front desk staff and housekeeping members.

It is advertised as having hot healthy breakfast daily. It has a basic continental breakfast. The pool doesn't look like it's been used in a while and was closed. When asked about the"hot fresh healthy breakfast" you are pointed towards a small refrigerator it has frozen breakfast sandwiches. There are no end at all. The room was clean where you can see.

Customer service was amazing, good parking spots, safe part of town, not far from the bulk of the city. I didn't eat the breakfast there but it was good to know they serve it. Gets kind of warm at night, the air conditioning is controlled by the hotel and does not drop below 66 degrees. They placed us in a non-smoking room but it smelled like either someone smoked in it or the carpet was dirty. Refrigerator and microwave did work, direct TV in the room, very clean, no bugs. Ironing and Ironing board worked. Water gets very hot. Overall it was very safe and a great stay.

Overall this stay was good. The exterior needs attention, but the room was good, clean. Not over-priced, nice value. I did appreciate the option of smoking/non-smoking. I will remember this hotel for my next trip to the area

Highly recommended if you are comfortable with a somewhat budget hotel that is still very clean and well organized/appointed. Our initial room assignment wasn't great (there was a large insect and the AC wasn't working) but our second room worked great and we were impressed by the comfort of the bed and the large size of the room in general. The breakfast isn't fancy, but features some cereals and waffles and everything was fairly clean and well renovated. Conveniently close to the Arena if you are there for a weekend of sports!

Surrounding looks sketchy and not well kept, but indoors was very good.

We only stayed one night but it was a good stay. Newly remodeled and the breakfast was good. We used the couch bed and had to ask for bedding but it was clean and sufficient. Manager was pleasant.

I was happy with everything even breakfast

When I tried to check out at 5:15am the clerk appeared to be sleeping on the couch in the lobby. I tried to make a cup of coffee but the machine malfunctioned and poured the liquid into the floor. I told the clerk, he did not bother to get up. Just said “I’ll check it out”. So much for a cup of coffee before a long drive home.

What I did like, was the fact, it was a quiet and safe area, what I did not like, was the bed was squeaky and not secure...

Airport noise in the early AM. Decent place to rest on a road trip.

We had the do not disturb sign on our door and housekeeping kept banging on our door from 8.30am-11am completely ignoring the sign and ignored us telling them to stop. Made us feel rushed and like we needed to leave, even tho checkout is at 11am.

This hotel is inexpensive and clean. I think staff could be more friendly and better breakfast. I was looking forward to scrambled eggs. They only served waffles, bagels, toast and coffee. They should also tell you upfront there’s a $100 deposite for the room. Overall I would rate my stay a 7 on a 1-10 scale. I’d stay again but would go some place else for breakfast.

The breakfast isn't a good selection. The man at the counter was rude. I reserved a smoking room and placed in a non smokingroom. The vending machine kept my change.

Great budget stay. The only thing could be better (for the price) is the parking. I had to park on the front of the building and walk a pretty good distance to my room. Other than that it’s great.

It’s a one night type of stay, not multiples nights. It was comfortable but just not what I’m use too. I can say the staff was nice, I booked a smoking room accidentally and it was literally still filled with smoke, but the front desk guy gave me a non smoking room for free! I appreciated the kindness! The pictures matched the hotel!

Staff was friendly & helpful upon check-in. The lobby, our room, & the grounds were clean. Water was hot & had good pressure. Breakfast was nice-bagels, cereals, waffles, juice. No eggs/bacon or such. Overall it was great for just a short one night stay. Only thing we didn't like was the bed had some sort of metal frame/base that popped when you got in/out of it.

The airplanes started taking off at 4:30am which was pretty annoying. There was carpet in the room which isn’t preferred.
