Friendly staff convenient to SFO.

Staff was extremely nice, clean room and quiet location. Stayed here 3 nights and would highly recommend it.

The biggest disappointment was the limited shuttle schedule. My flight was at 7:50 PM, and I wanted to arrive at the airport about three hours before departure. However, the shuttle service stopped at 11:30 AM and did not resume until 5:30 PM, which left a large gap during the afternoon and I had to make alternative transportation arrangements. The complimentary continental breakfast was also quite basic. The selection was limited to white bread, jam, boiled eggs, and a few simple items. There were no options such as wheal bread, sausages, or ham. As someone who specifically chose a hotel with breakfast included, I found the offering disappointing. Another drawback was the lack of nearby dining options. There were no convenient restaurants within walking distance for lunch or dinner, only McDonald's. After being underwhelmed by the breakfast, the absence of alternative food choices nearby made the stay even less enjoyable. Considering that I paid around $235 for a two-night stay, I expected better value and more convenience. While the room itself was clean and adequate, the limited shuttle schedule, basic breakfast, and lack of nearby restaurants would make me think twice before booking this hotel again.

Very helpful, attentive, knowledgeable, and personable staff. Limited selections for continental breakfast, although everything was delicious. Could use more gym equipment as well, if you are into fitness. Nice and clean accommodations, just minor details here and there. Would recommend for a quick getaway, not necessarily a special occasion. Overall, I am satisfied with my stay and will likely return!

I knew this wasn’t a five star hotel when I booked it, but it was very clean. The bed was super comfortable with great pillows. Near the airport. Easy in and easy out.

Although they said there was a shuttle from SFO it didn’t come otherwise everything else was fine. $150 deposit to stay.

We landed at 11pm and the night receptionist was so helpful in coordinating the shuttle for us, overall she was really kind to us. Our room was a single bed but very spacious, it was almost a pity we only stayed one night

Wow! I didn’t expect much and what I received was so much more. From the second I walked in the manager of the hotel was stand out amazing. So helpful, caring, knowledgeable and hospitable. I felt at home and like he would go out of his way for all of his guests to make sure they were happy, comfortable and taken care of. The room was exactly what I needed. Perfectly clean with a comfortable bed. My room couldn’t have been cleaner! I was very impressed. This isn’t a fancy hotel but it is perfectly cared for and a pleasure. I will definitely stay again on my next trip to SFO. Thank you.

Being in the hotel industry, I thoroughlycheck rooms all the time for cleanliness. No matter what hotel chain I stay in usually I always find something left behind from another guest. I found a little dust behind the TV cabinet and the bedside tables. Otherwise the room was extremely clean. Bathroom was clean and in good working order, shower was great powerful and clean. A small continental breakfast was included and worked out just perfectly for what I needed. Airport shuttle was on time and location was still close to the airport since I had a flight early in the morning. The alarm clock could be replaced as the buttons are hard to work on the top and don’t always go to where they need to be to work properly. I got it to work after messing with the buttons for about 10 minutes.

I needed an airport hotel. The staff was friendly and the room served its purpose. The only thing I would say about this facility is that the shuttle from the airport runs every 45 minutes. Other hotel shuttles were coming by every ten minutes. I didn't know this was going to be the case. I called the hotel twice to learn this. Other than that, I enjoyed the place and my conversations w/ the staff.

We have stayed at this property for years. I guess it’s under new management and they’ve made huge cuts to the breakfast. No more apple juice, scrambled eggs or potatoes, no yogurts, no more Costco muffins cut in half. No more half and half for coffee either. Only bread for toast is white bread. No more English muffins, bagels or small pastries. Today they had mini muffins that were basically yellow cake. Horrible. Never again. Rates are up around 30% too.

I booked this hotel because it said it had an airport shuttle. Upon checking in, it turns out the shuttle didn't start until after our flight was boarding - and no other options were provided. Additionally, I was unable to turn on the HVAC in the room, so I couldn't dispel the musty odor or block the sound of the busy street directly outside my room.

Hotel was good. Kenny at the front desk was really nice. Driver for the free shuttle asks for tips.

The hotel rooms and halls were in good condition, the staff was friendly, one of the people at the desk gave us directions to walk back from the rental car area which was only 2 blocks and much faster than waiting for the shuttle to bring us back. The shuttle starts at 5:11 am and runs every 45 minutes. It was 3-4 minutes late this morning but not bad. The bed was comfortable. The thermostat for the air conditioner had nonworking batteries and the front desk didn’t have new ones. However we were able to operate the air conditioner from the unit itself. Overall a comfortable stay. We left before breakfast so can’t comment on that.

It’s supposed to be a breakfast buffet included in the rates but he Was Only continent of breakfast. I had to spend $100 in breakfast for both days for my husband and I I didn’t expect to spend that money. it should be more honest and clear information and description of the hotel.

It is an excellent location for a layover. Price is right for the property. Easy checking. Nice front desk personal. But… there is a problem with people that do shuttle from airport, bad service, I believe they could reevaluate the supplier.

If we check I early there is an extra charge fee. No other hotel has ever charged me to check in as early as 11 am so this was a negative for me. Fewer breakfast options than in the past. Missing on the yogurt or protein options.

I needed an airport hotel with a shuttle and breakfast to stay one night. Hotel Nova was one of a few that met those requirements. It had the best ratings and review for the price point. The room was very clean, bed was exceptionally comfortable for a budget hotel, staff was welcoming and helpful, and breakfast was very good(excellent coffee). The only potential drawback is Hotel Nova is in the middle of nowhere with nothing but a gas station convenience store in walking distance so not great without a car. However, if I ever find myself needing to stay a night near SFO, I will definitely stay here again. Nothing

The gym was barebones and essentially a closer of 3 machines. Clean Room. Staff where very nice.

A decent nights sleep close to SFO. Only two minor issues: as a solo female traveler I prefer to not stay on ground level for safety reasons. I hope this is something the front desk will take into consideration for all women travelers. Second is that breakfast was over by 9:10AM. I slept later due to my flight not arriving until after 1:00AM . When I got to the breakfast area the ladies had cleaned it up and no one offered to get me anything (piece of bread? Bowl of cereal?). Otherwise the property is cl an, convenient, and had a nice bed.

Parking was an additional $8, which felt out of place given the condition and positioning of the property. Breakfast was minimal to the point of being nearly nonexistent. During my visit, the coffee pot was empty. The breakfast attendant was sitting in the lobby on her phone and didn’t acknowledge the situation as I tried to pour coffee and then went to the front desk. Only after being prompted did she refill it, without any interaction. I understand this property is priced lower than others nearby, but even at that level, basic upkeep and service expectations still apply.

This hotel is in a convenient location near the airport and its room rates are very reasonable. The complimentary breakfast, unfortunately is 90% wheat-based so there were only two choices for those on a gluten-free diet: apples and hard-boiled eggs. The shower fixture is supposed to offer an adjustable height but the unit in my room always fell to the lowest position making the process of taking a shower awkward at best. Also, the insulation between rooms is minimal so I heard every sound made by my next door neighbor. Check in clerk was great, checkout clerk was a bit curt. Still a decent choice for a short stay requiring access to SFO

There is construction in the lot RIGHT NEXT TO the hotel. My room (3rd floor) looked out on the construction area. They started early, about 8 am. Thankfully, I wasn't in the room all day. The noise was awful, and the room shook from the construction equipment being used! I was there Friday thru Sunday, and the construction took place ONLY on the weekdays. I really enjoyed this place except for the construction.

But every day they called me to move my car either super late or super early because there were shipping coming. And there was no sign telling where we should park and shouldn't. One night they called and I didnt move my car because it was 12. They told me to go down and they would tell me where to park, not on the phone. We figured it out they wanted us to my car to park at the alley and if not they would guide somewhere else. Next day the receptionist lady just gave me a whole lecture, but ofc in a nice way, but still, we came here to have a vacation, they should figured things out for a nice stay. I put the Do not disturb sign on, but still, they knocked on the door. And also, they give me a room right above the construction. One of the day, the fire alarm just got off continuously for a whole morning. We got no communication unless we called and they told us that AAA was currently testing. Restless stay basically!

I was first in room 205 the toilet clogged late at night. Things started coming up through the toilet and the water kept rising. My fiancé notified them that night and they offered us to stay in 207 for the night or to make a permanent switch. They said house keeping and listener wouldn’t be able to do anything about it that night. We decided just to switch rooms. The same issue happened in 207. My fiancé notified them again around 7am. No house keepers were there until 9am they said. The manager called me on the phone and was extremely rude. Implying it was our fault. I told him obviously you have plumbing issues here and of course he said no they never gave. I decided to look in the back of the toilet to find that they use a very old system which has been recalled for pretty much exploding and people have gotten hurt over it. There was absolutely no water in the back of the toilet. 3 people including the manager came up to my room to look at the toilet. They kept plunging it but the water continued to rise. He was even yelling at the house keeper in my bathroom as if it was her fault. He kept asking me very rudely what are you putting down the toilets and I answered more than once saying only the toilet paper you provide. And when I told him he was very rude and had a bad attitude he said he wasn’t and it’s a simple question what am I putting down his toilets as if I am stupid or something. We booked a whole week and this is how we were treated.

The pictures they have on their website are exactly the same. The beds and rooms are very clean. I will stay there again next year when I come back to San Francisco. Was surprised when an $8 nightly charge for parking was added to the bill . I have stayed in most of the hotels in the area and have never been charged by any other. There is no shortage of parking. The hotel should disclose this charge before you check in.

Everything was fine except..... The bed. It was literally a bed that is made of cardboard. Similar to a display bed in a store. It was the most uncomfortable bed I have EVER had at a hotel. I would never stay here again for this reason.

San Francisco hotels were fully booked. I finally found Hotel Nova and just took a chance. It was delightful. The best part was how nice and helpful they were. Kenny, at the front desk helped with my UPS pickups despite her being busy with a full house. Everything was clean. They are getting up to date a little at a time. It kind of surprised me but everything was very clean and the mattress was wonderful. I would encourage you to try Hotel Nova, a smaller but very nice and well run establishment. Also, free breakfast! Will definitely stay again. The joy and kindness shown more than makes up for the older fixtures!

Really cute hotel in south San Francisco. Everything was clean, bed was comfortable, good water pressure, cable TV or ability to sign into your netflix. All the staff was super friendly. Good parking. Would stay there again.

Stayed here for a festival weekend and the owner made my friends and I feel so welcomed at entrance! He let us in earlier than our original check in time, gave us food place recommendations, made us laugh, and most importantly made us feel safe. The rooms are nice and spacious (has a mini fridge & microwave) !!! I can’t even think of the words to use to describe how great our experience was. We will ALWAYS stay here whenever we are back in the area for more events.

Staff are courteous, and pleasant. They know their job well. Of course, I love my room. Thank you.

This hotel was adequate for my family's stay in San Francisco. Rooms were small and we weren't able to get the water to stay in the tub, so my kids were forced to shower instead. Breakfast was adequate - mostly carbs with a little ham, American cheese slices, and boiled eggs. Staff at front desk were very responsive and communicated well. Hotel was clean. Neighborhood seemed quiet and safe, next to the 101 highway. Not much here other than a place to rest, but it did the job.

While the experience was enjoyable, the gentleman lacked customer service during checkout.

I really only had 2 complaints, the TV remote in my room hardly worked, up was left down was right, okay was the volume down. made no sense. My other compalint was that they only offer HOT water throughout the day. Luckily, there is an ice machine, but no drinking fountain, no bottle fill station. But they have a gym? They should look into a bottle filler for the gym room for sure.

10/10 Highly Recommend! I forgot the guy name but I believe he’s a manager. He definitely made our stay the best. He helped us with any questions we had and as soon as we were checking in he let us know about everything and the best places to go and things to do.. We loved him and he definitely was the highlight of our trip ❤️

The staff were great at check in and throughout our stay. The hotel seemed a bit run down and the majority of amenities (hair dryer, microwave, shower) were either broken or faulty. The overall room was okay, we only used it to sleep and eat. The location was decent because Costco was near by and a 5 min drive to target and other stores.

The staff members who attended to me were so polite, which is very good for the hotel's PR. It's a good enough hotel for the price.

Extremely disappointed in the breakfast. Seem like they tried to make up for the lack of food with ham and cheese sandwiches. Not the kind of breakfast you want to start your day with. Very disappointing.

This hotel needs a little TLC. Biggest complaint was road noise and light pollution. Our room had a light right outside the window and no blackout curtains. The shutters only blocked so much light. Front desk staff were friendly. Nobody was there when I checked out early in the morning. Beds were comfy. Towels were thin and small.

Room is clean and smells nice. All around inside the room is comfortable. Bed is comfortable.

Staff was amazing. I had an early flight so location was very convenient, car rental right across the street and airport about a 10 min drive. Room was decent. I did not get the gentleman’s name but he was incredibly nice. Recommend places to eat and to visit.

Everything was fine about the property. I loved that they had a gym & electric charging out front. The desk people were very kind & told us what we needed to know during our stay like the quiet hours. The most disappointing part was THE BED. I woke up with multiple bug bites each night. It completely ruined all my outfits that required showing my legs. I’m disappointed to give this place such a low review because the room and the bathrooms were very clean but those bed bugs are no joke. Also we said no thank you to room cleaning & we still came back to our room cleaned. We left valuables out & it was really concerning that they came in after we declined service. I wanted to like this place but those huge factors are a big setback for me.

We still had a fine time, and enjoyed the wafffles. But know what you're in for if you come here because you want breakfast.....

Our stay at Hotel Nova SF was a pleasant surprise. Hotel Nova SF is a boutique, economical hotel and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious. We enjoyed the free breakfast which reminded us of a continental breakfast in Europe. We will definitely stay again when visiting the Bay area.

I was staying the night on a layover before an international flight. My original hotel actually canceled on me so I quickly had to find a hotel close to the airport that was reasonably priced. I’m really glad I chose Nova! The staff was really great and nice, suggested a great place for me to get dinner nearby. I walked to the restaurant which took about 25 minutes, not the best walk just along busy roads, but doable and lots of options in that area to eat. I did end up Ubering back to the hotel. Very close to the airport and there are a couple more fast food options very close and walkable. The hotel and rooms are dated, but it was very clean and comfortable. I was alone and felt comfortable and slept great. The breakfast was better than I expected for the price point, simple continental style but more options than most I’ve seen.

Bed inens not changed/clean

The young man who checked me in was unfriendly and borderline rude. Ridiculous upcharge of $17.00 to check in early. There is no reason for a charge like that if there is an available room. The faucet in the bathroom shower was extremely loose and was almost falling out of the wall. Homeless man camping out in parking lot. Breakfast was a joke. Extremely disappointed in this hotel. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Great property to stay at especially if you’re looking for long term parking. I highly recommend taking the best western shuttle back and walking around the street. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was great. Highly recommend and will use again.
