Hampton Inn San Francisco Airport

Breakfast was good

Had to wait 30 minutes in the lobby to check in. There was a sign saying they would “be back at 6:45pm”. Apparently the front desk lady was taking her lunch break. But all Hampton inns are supposed to have 24/7 front desk service, and no warning was given that we would have to wait! The email just said check in available starting at 4pm. We couldn’t use the Hilton app to check in cause we had no service and no wifi password in lobby. Also had to pay $20 just to park overnight. And our TV wouldn’t turn on. Asked many times, no compensation/refund was given for any of our troubles.

It was clean. The pillows were very small, like the size of a throw pillow! I had never seen that before, even in this type/level of a hotel. There were only 2 towels. There was no airport shuttle.

All is good. Comfort bed. Only issue that I have is the head board of the bed smells. It smells like a person stayed under the sun woth all the sweat dried up. That keeps me awake.

Everything else was wonderful.

Great stay! Parking very convenient so many parking available and affordable only $18 per night unlike other hotel parking starts at $25 a nighy. Good buffet breakfast they serve different breakfast on a Saturday morning & Sunday morning. Highly recommended. Will come back.

It was the perfect place to rest, SUPER CLEAN and wonderful staff and good breakfast.

The hotel is nice, the dumb $19 to park is ridiculous. Our room had an unusual odor, like mold or damp musky mess. Breakfast was pretty good.

We went back and forth to the front desk multiple times, and nothing was really done to resolve the situation. I also requested a refund due to all the inconvenience, but was told there was nothing they could do. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience, and because of how poorly everything was handled, we will not be staying at this hotel again.

Was here for 2 night. This one is just ok. First night, room was facing embassy suite parking. Heard loud conversation noisy at night, like a bunch of people talking& laughing. Walls and ceilings are thin. I can hear the footsteps on top of us. Walking back and forth. Gym was tight! Our stay was just ok. I don’t recommend it. Will be staying at a different hotel next time we visit San Francisco. The only thing good was the complimentary breakfast.

Excellent Stay. Great reception. Great HOT breakfast. Clean room. But it’s unfortunate that we couldn’t accumulate Hilton reward points because we booked from Expedia.

Note! This hotel, which has 'airport' in it's title does not have a shuttle. The taxi was close ove $35 for 4 miles to get to it. The hotel does not have a shuttle listed as available but i missed seeing that on the site. I assumed that an 'airport' hotal would surely have one.

The staff was simply amazing. They went well above and beyond. We were a group of 10 spending the night after completing the retirement flight of an airline captain after 32 years of flying. We threw an impromptu party in the lobby area where breakfast is normally served and the front desk staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. They were outstanding and their efforts were really appreciated. Excellent job.

2.) beds were hard and the pillows were garbage. Not sure what happened to Hilton Hotels, but this is the third Hilton hotel I stayed at on this trip and they all had the same type of issues.

Everything was excellent however, the food in the morning was low grade. The eggs, the milk and the scones, were definitely out of touch. Something needs to change there.

Room was clean and spacious enough. I only saw one staff person at check-in, and she was very nice and helpful. When checking out, the staff at the front desk was also very friendly. Breakfast had a good selection and was tasty.

We stayed only 1 night so we were close to the airport. Hannah at the front desk was very helpful and courteous. She provided a list of restaurants nearby. We didn't have time for breakfast, but it was the standard Hampton Inn array, which is always plentiful and contains a good variety. I didn't like that we had to pay to park. We wanted the convenience of being close to the airport. We picked the Hampton Inn because we had spent the prior 6 days at the one in Turlock. I asked if they could just transfer our reservation to San Francisco and they couldn't. That was a bit of a pain. The parking lot was very big and in the area of other hotels. Overall, it was a great place to stay. Very clean.

No dressers drawers, to put your garments in. No hotel shuttles. Paying for parking on premises. No variety in breakfast juices. Only O.J. everyone cannot drink Orange Juice.

Breakfast is starting to change alot. No variety of juices for breakfast. No variety of eggs. The sink toppers are still not working. Overall it is a nice place to stay.

Breakfast was not good. I didn't really like much of anything Air conditioning was stuck on heater didn't work. I was sick and this was a major inconvenience... Loose tile in the bathroom. I had to change rooms. Heater worked in the new room but there was stained carpet and when my husband got back to the room late at night the shower was luearned Then after we checked out my card was billed three times. They caught it and fixed it but still. Will not go back.

We have stated in this hotel 3 times and will state there again, it's a better value for the price. The hotel is in a quite area with many biotech buildings around and has plenty of well-lighted parking spaces for an over night parking fee that is less then the other hotels around it.

From start to finish, everything about my visit was excellent. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a genuine smile and immediately felt welcomed. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, always checking in at the perfect times and making sure I had everything I needed. The place itself was spotless, with a clean and inviting atmosphere that made it easy to relax and enjoy the experience.

Walls were paper thin, a light walk sounded like you were stomping. We could hear the upstairs neighbors walking and it was loud. My 3 year old was playing and we got a noise complaint. I was overcharged! We will not be staying here again. We are looking to plan our next trip back

The receptionist Hannah was very nice and accommodating. The hot breakfast was really good and area kept clean. Loved the 24/7 coffee and tea availability. Paying for parking is a little ridiculous given that the hotel has plenty of spots. Our room smelled like a hospital or a nursing home, not a very pleasant smell. They only put 3 bath towels in a room for 4 people, so we had to go ask for bath towels each time. I would stay at this hotel again though. It was very convenient for us and super close to the airport.

A really good and quiet stay. Super comfortable bed!!! . Easy to get to cal train. Only 15 minutes to a block from oracle park .. only 1 elevator was working at the hotel this past weekend... $20 to park... be sure to put the parking pass on your dash..... A pretty good free breakfast if you do breakfast!

I’d have liked that the small gym was equipped with sanitizing wipes to clean the equipment . There was a dispenser,empty, on the wall, but all along my stay no one cared to replenish it

Arrived after a long haul flight delayed by 7 hours to a foyer full of young people in a school trip. Took a while to check in but receptionist was polite and helpful. Room large and clean. As comfortable as we would expect from a Hampton hotel. Toiletries and towels were good quality. Shower could have been a bit more powerful but ok. Breakfast was included and lots of choice. Hotel arranged a taxi for us, only had to wait 5 minutes. Driver was chatty and polite. Reasonable fare.

I stay at Hampton when I visit San Francisco, but on this given day my experience wasn’t so pleasant with 3 hours of noise from the drilling and hammering with the elevator that was next to my room. I couldn’t get a nap before my evening plans. Overall it’s normally pleasant.

House keeping staff and kitchen staff was great but front end customer service is horrible aside of that I was charged double for my room and I’m still waiting on a refund.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, desk host friendly. We stayed on 2nd floor, at one point of stay, noisy people above us, could hear all footsteps back & forth and moving things around. Good coffee at breakfast

After our flight was delayed, we arrived at 2:00 AM, the staff offered us a late check out without us asking. It was greatly appreciated.

electric cars are parked facing the lobby , while regular cars are on the sides. Thou. back door is another option just make sure u have a room to enter property . Highly Recommend

I have stayed here twice in the last two months. I like it very much. Staff are friendly, breakfast is good, hotel is clean and located not too far from SFO. Only thing I'm not crazy about is the water pressure in the showers and the shower heads are fixed, no handheld, rain shower or body sprayers.

We appreciated this hotel reservation after a late arrival into SFO. Very convenient. Clean and felt safe. Breakfast was good except the eggs looked awful. Would be nice to have fruit other than tough apples and oranges. But oatmeal, waffles, potatoes, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs... convenient and filling.

I checked in on Friday around 9PM. When I went to my assigned room the room smelled horrible and noticed it hadn’t been cleaned. Went down stairs and let staff know. Then I was told no room was available at the time and had to wait about 30 minutes for house keeping to clean a different room for me. Ended up staying in lobby for about 30 minutes with all my luggage. Check in is supposed to be at 3PM. My room was not ready at 10PM. Horrible experience

Great customer service

Easy to find, very clean, safe neighborhood, very pleasant staff.

Front desk Filipino lady was rude when we checked in. Didn't even greet us with a " Good Morning" or a "Welcome". She made the checkin process really painful. Infact, when called customer service to complain, i got connected to another female located overseas, which was also rude, and sarcastic. We've been coming to stay at this hotel for many years, and i will never come back because of the treatment my family and i received.

Everything was great but staying 4 nights in the bed really hurt my back and my husbands so not the greatest mattresses but everything else was great

The property did not have running hot water. They didn’t even notify me upon checking in on Friday. I had to find it right before trying to take a shower on Saturday morning. They finally started notifying guest sometime in the day on Saturday. This was not a pleasant stay.

The cleanliness was ok. The couch had previous stains and there was finger nail clippings on the carpet floor.
