No frills but clean and safe, on site free parking is very convenient and is definitely a plus for a hotel so close to Airport

Airport Inn lives up to the reviews in every way. They were gracious and the site was clean and well laid out. This price range is an important factor, as well. Some describe Airport Inn as a "best kept secret".... I'm sharing the secret because they deserve more business. Highest compliments and gratitude! D.S., Ventura CA

A really good place to stay before a flight. Nothing fancy, but our king-bed room was quite spacious, and since there was both a desk and a two-person dining table, there’s plenty of surface area for two people to do work, or to share a meal comfortably. Plus it had both the sink in the bathroom and another sink in the room—again, really convenient for two people getting ready in the morning. Clean, and the woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. It’s not a very big motel, and with the parking just right below the floors with the rooms, it’s fast and easy to unload and pack up again. Btw, if you’re a Costco member and have a rental car, there’s a Costco gas station, open at 6am, right on the route to the airport.

The room was nice. The bed was too firm for my taste, so I had trouble sleeping. They did give me extra pillows no problem. The courtyard and second floor outside area were nice. They were trying to upgrade the courtyard. The garage was small, but it was well lit and had plenty of security cameras. The only access to the hotel needed you key to get on the elevator. I felt safe. The a/c heater worked great. It could use some sound proofing. I could hear people in the other rooms talking, laughing, even snoring. Over all I would stay again if I needed a place near the airport.

The room was clean. It is reasonably close to the airport. It feels dismal. Staff contact is only through a window in the garage, after making a phone call. Lobby closed. No food available. Nothing within walking distance. No airport shuttle.

Depressing place.

We stayed overnight. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and functional, though nothing felt particularly special.

Everything was great. Staff was friendly, rooms clean, plenty of parking. The 2nd floor common area was beautiful. Too bad they don't serve breakfast there.

We really enjoyed our stay at Airport Inn. The rooms were large and clean. The staff was helpful and answered any questions we had and gave recommendations for the local area. Caltrain and BART are nearby for easy transportation into the city.

The sheets didnt smell like cleaner and they left the room partially open for cross ventilation in between guests. Those little details are a big deal to me!

I like the check-in time @ 1200. Staff was friendly. Check-in and out was smooth, fast, and simple. Clean facility, clean room. Free self-parking. Room came with a fridge & microwave. A few restaurants are within the vicinity of Airport Inn, a few minutes away. Will return for another stay.

I liked the shape of the window and the view. Room was very small. It did not feel completely safe. The ground floor is the parking garage. The check in is done through a small window. You enter the upstairs where the rooms are through an elevator that opens with the card key. The downstairs parking garage is not secure as in anyone can walk or drive in and out. And it doesn’t seem like it would be that hard to slip into the elevator or stairway. Since I was traveling alone this felt a little scary to me. I was also given a bit of a hard time about my service dog.

Curiously the lobby was closed at 7:30am when I checked out. The mattress was not very supportive. Also, the couch was not very supportive. Lastly, the 2 sink faucets were opposite for hot and cold.

When they clean the rooms they let them air out. They open the outside windows and let the air blow through from "open to the sky" internal courtyard. The rooms smell clean air fresh. Not stale like most hotel room. Well done Airport Inn!

When we go to SF Always prefer to stay airport inn since we discovered in 2015 ..cozy, clean, good staff, near to everything in SF.

Very convenient location, about a 10-minute Uber ride from SFO, which made it perfect for an early flight and helped us avoid morning traffic from the East Bay. The room and common areas were very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Even with a late check-in around 11 PM, the reception staff was extremely polite and efficient, with both quick check-in and check-out. The hotel is not very modern, but this didn’t impact the comfort or cleanliness of the stay.

Great price Because I arrived early, I ended up in a room for the disabled. The rack to hang my clothes was really low and no sink in the bathroom.

A Beautiful place to stay

Close to SFO airport. So could check in early next morning The fact that they had no reception staff , would not do wake up call and next morning waited all alone in garage hoping and praying my 6 am taxi would show up, there was nobody to talk to felt very unsafe, luckily cab showed up too bad o lol facilities upstairs were nice and clean. Not even a cup of coffee or continental breakfast. Never again

Easy, well lit, accessible, clean, automated access to elevator is smooth and simple, spacious, all amenities, handsome cleanly and simple room arrangement and colors, very close to airport but it was more like waves crashing on the rocks than a highway around the corner, good day light and good curtains, each room has an outdoor seating place on the courtyard wide balcony, few plants - quiet, pleasant and safe feeling. I needed floor space to repack and cleanliness, an empty clean fridge and a quick small electric oven. a Hairdryer and extra towels - all of that was there.

This place exceeded my expectations. Super easy and convenient garage parking and lovely accommodations and friendly staff. I will definitely stay here again when in the area on business.

I was surprised by how friendly the front desk guy was when I checked in after midnight, and also by how clean the room was, for the price I would say this is unbeatable for the area, I will be back.

I’ve used Airport Inn a few days each week while finishing my degree at USF. The owners have been so kind. The hotel is perfectly located for my commute while in town. It was quiet, clean, and the hotel staff were so helpful. I have issues with my back and the bed was comfortable for me.

I've stayed at this hotel before for business. This time a quick weekend trip to visit family. It's exactly what I was looking for: free parking, check in is 12 noon, small hotel for easy in and out, no fuss check in, and the rooms were clean. Coming from the East Coast, I take early flights that get me to SFO in the morning. Most all hotels near the airport charge for parking and check in starts at 3pm. I don't have the added inconvenience of asking for an early check in.

We come here alot but this time we got room 209 and got woken up a few times with a dog barking in the neighborhood behind us and the noisy maids cart rolling around so early and dropping things.

We like to come here every New year's since our other hotel we used, went to crap, the only thing is that they still have their LOBBY closed since Covid and we have to use a dirty phone outside to check in and have to wait about 5 minutes or so to get our key, but the room is clean and everything worked.

I love how the rooms are above the parking lot and you have to use a keycard to use the elevator. I felt very safe staying here. It was a very nice and quiet. My uber had no issues finding the inn, everything was very convenient.

This property is unique in many ways off Street underground parking elevator access to the floors for guests only. The rooms are clean updated and quiet the staff is very polite. A place of peace and quiet in this crazy world while you're visiting San Francisco or doing business here

We stayed at Airport Inn when we visited San Francisco for one night and everything went well. Very clean room and spacious. Friendly staff with clear instructions, and private on-site parking. Highly recommend!

I stay in 4 and 5 star hotels all over the world. This little gem holds it own with what they offer here. Big rooms, fridge, microwave, quiet and safe...with check in at NOON! Trust me when I tell you it's a win! win!

This is great hotel right in the middle of Bio-Tech area of South SF. Its not new, but clean and comfortable. It had a good size refrigerator and microwave. Price wise one of the best in the area.

I didn’t like that you have to have a key to use the elevator

The motel was in good location. Across the street, home blasting music but luckily wasn't at night. The service was good and liked the free parking. Room itself was simple, wifi and tv good. Only ding was the bed wasn't that comfortable and pillows needed upgrading and only had 3 pillows for king size bed and thin blanket. If they upgraded the bed, linens and pillows- would be great!

Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay here. The managers were very attentive whenever we needed something, and housekeeping was also very accommodating. The place was impeccably clean. I would highly recommend the Airport Inn!

I stay here often due to work and I really enjoy staying here. It's a no frills hotel, but it always feels clean & safe. I love the well lit parking & downtown San Bruno is a quick walk away. Many refer to this as a hidden gem and it is. If your someone who needs room service etc, this isn't your hotel. But if you appreciate a good price and a clean room wt the bonus of supporting a family run business--this is it!

Easy on and off freeway!

Great place. Cheap. Clean. No riff raff... Parking is tight for larger vehicles.
