AC Hotel by Marriott San Francisco Airport Oyster Point/Waterfront

The property was very clean very quiet. They also had a DJ on the weekend. The bar was great. The receptionist was just as great check-in was smooth and so is checkout. The room was so comfortable. The bed was amazing. The view was great. The bathroom was so beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.

Our first experience with this hotel was highly disappointing. Upon arrival, we were checked into a room that was already occupied by other guests—and we noticed several other parties facing the exact same issue that night. While the front desk receptionist was incredibly nice and tried her best, the management and overall first-night experience were terrible.

We stayed in room 625. I would like to suggest installing recessed lights. The room needs more lights.

Apparently we weren't already checked in and they tried to give our room away, at the end it was resolved but it was still irritating. The breakfast was great but more seasoning please. Also the pay for parking was ridiculous 🙄 The bartender was great though. All in all a great stay minus the mishap.

The hotel (stay) was really great. We stayed for 3 nights. When our room key did not work and we had to go to the front desk we had to wait 30 minutes, as several guests were checking in and only 1 person was at the front desk.

Let’s start off with I didn’t get the suite I paid for due to a broken pipe. I wasn’t notified until check in. Parking was terrible. The lounge was the highlight of the stay the bartenders are cool people. Housekeeping service is scheduled for every other day. Personally I’ll never book here again

The place is nice, very clean and good breakfast. The check in took long than we expected. The location is far SFO downtown. We booked with breakfast and they unknown about it :( They charged more than $90 over the price we booked, it is boring to carry out the claim process.

Overall good staff, clean facility, and fair amenities. One complaint I have is that I had to call guest services 3 times - 3rd time I had to ask for a real person to answer the phone - because my first 2 requests for toothpaste or a dental kit wasn't addressed by the automatic (AI?) machine that responded and claimed it'd forward the request to staff. Only when I called for the 3rd time and asked for a real person was I told by a human that they were completely out of dental kits/toothpaste, and no solution was given to rectify this. I had to go buy my own toothpaste later the next day.

Clean rooms staff were amazing food was great and the Bay view room was amazing.Definitely will come back and stay with the fam again.

My only complaint is they no longer clean the rooms daily. Upon learning this I simply asked the front desk to take out our room trash as it had food and was beginning to stink. Staff did not get back to me regarding the trash until 12 hours later at which time we were checking out anyway. Aside from that super clean and update hotel!

The hotel was much nicer than the photos suggest. The rooms and lobby were clean and well kept. It’s located in a quiet area, away from the busy downtown San Francisco scene. Parking was $25/day plus tax, which was cheaper than most hotels. The only downside is that there aren’t many restaurants, cafés, or shops nearby unless you drive into the city.

Beautiful hotel and a very tasty, high-quality breakfast, and a comfortable bed. I specifically booked this hotel so my family could swim in the pool and relax in the jacuzzi, but unfortunately everything was closed for renovation. There was no heating in the room, and it was very cold. They brought us an old heater that didn’t work properly. The bathtub could not be used — only the shower was available.

Hotel is nice and close to the airport. However if you're staying here on a Friday night with your family I would highly recommend going elsewhere. A live DJ plays from 5-11 down stairs and it quite literally stopped my family from going to see sleep before our early flight the next day.

The hotel is stunning, with a prime location and modern rooms equipped with excellent amenities. The service was outstanding, and Mercy, a staff member, was especially helpful and friendly. The only drawbacks were the lack of free parking and complimentary breakfast, which were not provided.

Lots of motor noise in the room--fans and other motors. Staffwere great. Room comfortable and clean. Beautiful view from. lounge. And you need rooms with grab bars in bath--we elders do not need the full handicap room. just something to hang onto in the shower--and think about a bidet to save paper.

Location, clean This place needs better staff, stayed here few times now, booked a room for my parents for the first time here. How you treat people, especially elderly says a lot about you, maybe you are always short staffed or maybe kindness/courtesy is not something you value or provide to your customers. Gave my parents a room where the key wouldn’t open the door, my parents asked for help from the staff on the floor, asked to call the front desk or go back down to ask for help, again given another key which again did not open the door, again my parents asked a person passing by (staff) for help, telling my parents again to go back to the front desk and ask for help. Battery on the door lock was dead and needed to be changed and finally my parents were able to get to their room. No one took the time to check what the issue was, kept asking my parents to go back and forth from 5th floor back to the front desk to ask for help. I ordered door dash for my parents and it was accidentally delivered to the front desk instead of the room, I called the hotel and requested if someone could please drop the food to my parents room, no that’s not an option I was told. I’ll make sure take my business elsewhere and not book with this hotel again.

Clean, nice staff, good view and quiet room. Great bathroom. Only downside was the green lighting which is eco good but these old eyes need higher wattage.

Comfortable bed and room with a view of the water, easy to get to airport early. The bad music pumped out in reception and hallways, thin walls so we had to listen to a kid crying while we tried to fall asleep, and the fact they charge almost $5 for crappy drip coffee. Pretty tacky for a 4 star hotel that charges over $200 à night.

But the hotel refused to offer a refund/credit for that night or at least consider letting us submit a medical note —even though we are long-time Marriott members. We will never book this hotel again, as they clearly put money first and customers last when difficult times happen.

Very friendly/helpful staff, beautiful facility, spacious rooms, good location, water available in the lobby and room without charge. The toilet could have been cleaned better (noticed a hair, wiped it down myself). Also, heard other guests walking around above me while trying to sleep - rugs might be helpful to dampen noise from rooms above.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was spotless and very well maintained. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Everything felt comfortable and welcoming — I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a clean, relaxing place with great service.

Excellent property, staff, and rooms. I felt safe walking my dog at night around the property and loved the path along the water in the mornings. The bed is comfy and the rooms are beautiful and spacious. The area is quiet and the rooms are well insulated against noise.

Manager forced me to wait my checking in more than two hours because I paid on Booking by ApplePay in the morning and manager doesn’t want to accept this payment. Even when I show all the receipts in the bank online but she didn’t accept it and ask to wait more and more. But its not my problem that you can’t connect with Booking or don’t see any payment while I have all documents that I did it.

My BF enjoyed our stay at this hotel this past weekend. My BF is pretty picky and he really liked it! The hotel was pretty hip, the staff were very friendly, it was clean and the room was very spacious. We will definitely be staying at these hotels on our upcoming trips. Thank you AC Hotel!

This hotel was conveniently located but there wasn't much around it to do. The couch had a stain on it, and so did the floors, it just didn't feel very clean and the beds were a bit hard for my preference. We stayed in a room with a pullout bed, but they didn't have any pillows and limited sheets for an extra bed, and they only left us 2 towels when we specified 3 people in the room.

This hotel was conveniently located but there wasn't much around it to do. The couch had a stain on it, and so did the floors, it just didn't feel very clean and the beds were a bit hard for my preference. We stayed in a room with a pullout bed, but they didn't have any pillows and limited sheets for an extra bed, and they only left us 2 towels when we specified 3 people in the room.

My wife and I present differently because of our tattoos, and we did feel the judgement from the lady that checked us in but after they realized we aren’t bad people they treated us better. Wish they had a hot tub and the pool is small but the hotel is fantastic. Clean, quiet, and overall safe. I would definitely come back.

The hotel sits in a wind tunnel and it’s always cold. I found myself dreading going in and out and got an ear ache from the cold wind.

Didn't care for the $18 a night hotel fee. Nice design with the bathroom sink but functionally was terrible as it the sink is flat making draining slow and difficult. Also, the sink water pressure was awful, maybe it's a way for the hotel trying to conserve water.

There was a celebration the day we arrived and many things were not available in the restaurant . Next day breakfast was crowed and only one person helping . Took long time to get the food. However staff was very nice .

Starbucks and couple places to eat in the area plus all the hotels has food. Super close to the airport. Honestly a nice location if you want to experience San Fran but don’t want to stay in the city

i like the none carpet flooring, clean room and also location of the hotel with nearby Starbuck and some restaurants. Near the SFO airport as well. I am not too much of the fan on the noise containment. I hear footsteps upstairs and also the AC was on and off. Staff at the counter provide one lotion when i asked for 3 sets of toiletries. lights are little dim in the room.

I feel the need to call out the entire staff. Everyone was amazing from my first phone call to my final goodbye. This was a special event for my wife's bday and they made it even better, These folks truly are amazing! We'll be back 100%!!

The hotel was nice . The coffee maker in the room took for ever to make coffee. The bathroom slide door kept opening and the blanket had holes. I was very disappointed that breakfast is not included and the pool was tiny.

Check in was ok. Staff not friendly. Why 2 breakfast vouchers per room if 3 people in a room? Why vouchers that do not cover cost of a simple buffet breakfast? If traveling for business ok but if you’re traveling with multiple children not a good hotel

Lovely hotel unfortunately it was a weekend and everything was closed around it for food or entertainment so its not a weekend destination but was a nice hotel

There is not a fan in bathroom which made for a very hot, steamy, and sweaty experience when getting dressed and applying makeup. I was so frustrated and the AC kept the room cool but not the bathroom. If there was a bathroom fan we could not easily locate it.We tried everything. Other than that stay was nice.

We love our room. We stayed in the King suite with ocean view and the room was spacious, clean and modern.

Customer service is at 110%. They are dog friendly. My pups had a great time here. The room was clean and anything I needed was a call away. Great service. you can walk along oyster point which is beautiful lovely trail.

Easy in and out of the airport

Stayed at AC Hotel as it was close to the location of my nieces wedding. Hotel is very clean and beautiful. We had a suite on the 5th floor and it was so spacious. Great view of the Bay. Woke up to beautiful sunrises. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely consider staying here again.

They have a restaurant on site which was pretty good. They had a small heated pool, which my son enjoyed. When we first arrived, there were problems with the elevator so we had to walk a bit of a distance to our room —not a problem for us, but my elderly mother would’ve had an issue. Staff was pretty nice.

Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, rooms and property were clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.

The front desk staff were amazing. We had a great experience for our Christmas eve dinner. Our room was excellent. Pet friendly.

We felt safe here. Dining was expensive so we skipped eating or having drinks there. It’s not the hotels fault but the room Is not very sound proof, sounded like the person upstairs was pacing back and forth with heels on and letting doors slam. But the hotel is beautiful, gym is nice if you like that. It is very clean and new. Also parking is only $20 a day in comparison to other hotels I’ve been to in big cities this is a good price to me. I think all hotels should provide free parking for the price they pay to stay honestly but that’s how it is.

I don’t expect this to resonate, with some SF folks, but less is not more. It’s simply less, for more money. This minimalist vibe is just laziness masking a lack of imagination. I stayed at this hotel before it was an “AC” and it was warm, friendly, and still a cool and slightly edgy bar scene. Now it’s bland and dull and yet everything costs extra. Why is it that the amazing hotel percolator coffee that was cheap and plentiful, is no longer offered at some hotels? Instead I have to pay $8 for it now and it’s not as good. And the same lack of attention to details permeates the whole experience. Even the staff seemed to apologize when telling me “No” in 5 different ways..Listen, I’m not a grumpy old man; I’m simply someone who remembers when competition created value, and an opportunity to stand out from the rest. Instead we seem to have a collective agreement to settle for less, all the time. Hard to believe this is a marriot. I do feel bad for the staff though.

I had an overnight layover in San Francisco and this hotel is only 9 minutes from the airport which is so convenient! I arrived late, but the concierge was so nice when I called and said that I would be able to check in until 3am. The hotel is modern and sleek and my room was very clean :) Thank you for the relaxing stay!
