    The hotel is very clean. The staff was very accommodating. The breakfast had a variety of cold and hot foods. It was refilled as needed. My only complaint is about the rooms. I could not figure out how to adjust the a/c, I even spoke to the desk clerk about it. Also, the beds were too soft for me.

    Upon arriving it looked okay. Then after checking in they told me the pool was closed for “renovations” but no signs of work being done at all. The elevator sounds like it’s going to break. Then after settling in I went to shower, the drain would not drain and kept filling up the tub. Then I looked allover for vending machines that are posted but nowhere to be found. Finally I found a small snack station by the front desk that was basically empty. Then they wouldn’t take cash for the snacks and when I provided a card they tried to charge me 8$ for two small candy bars. Will most likely not return to this location.

    The room was generally clean--but there was a bad odor on the floor I stayed on and the threshold of my room smelled of cigarette smoke, despite the fact that it was a non-smoking room. The pool was being renovated. The breakfast was good. There was a huge crack in the bathroom counter in front of the sink and the shower nozzle had a mind of it's own sometimes, sliding up to hot-hot when I moved it to warm-hot. Also, there was no screen on my window--so I couldn't open it at night. I think there are better quality hotels for the price I paid.

    I reserved the room, upon arrival I was asked do we have pets and the answer was no. When we got to the room, the room smelled like dog and musty. I went down to request a different room, which was better. We paid $30 for late checkout when we got back from the wedding the next day, which we were there staying for. The door was locked and we were locked out. I had to request for a later stay at no additional charge. Also, my sister who was getting married, was locked out of her and her guests rooms as well and she had paid for three nights stayed only one day and was locked out of their rooms. The Front Desk answer for this happening was they had to get the rooms clean for new guest. When we had not completed our stay yet which was paid for already. Our dining experience was terrible. The food was not cooked well and my husband vomit up the sausage gravy afterwards had an ill belly not much of variety to choose from. Other guests had the same complaint about the food not cooked well. END RESULTS WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS STAY.

    Everything was decent however I left my hoodie in the hotel closet by accident and if the room is properly checked and cleaned then it should’ve been turned in by cleaning staff instead I was told they couldn’t find it which means someone took it so please be sure to grab all of your belongings otherwise you will likely not see them again! That was on me for leaving it however it should’ve been turned into lost and found!

    We checked in at 8:30pm from a 6 hour drive for a weekend trip. The front staff was short with us, nothing terribly awful, just not the front desk experience Ive had before with other La Quinta's. After check in, we went to our room. Everything looked clean and as expected for the price and previous reviews. Went out for a late supper. Returned around 11pm. Showers for everyone first, then to get in bed. My brother stayed in the next hotel room so I visited with him while my 7 yo, 4 yo, and husband laid down and went to sleep in our room. About 30 min after talking with my brother and making plans for the next day, I go back to my room and cut on the lamp lights to find BED BUGS ON BOTH QUEEN BEDS! Throughout all my years of hotels, I've never experienced this. I grabbed my kids and husband, took pictures, grabbed all our stuff, and informed my brother in the next room and headed downstairs to ask for a refund and try to find another hotel at midnight. The front desk staff- Sonny - was horrible. He didnt believe me & wanted to see them for himself- which was fine. He didnt see them and asked multiple times "show me where they are" and I showed him my pictures with the picture details/time stamps and told him I would not lie about bed bugs with a 4 yo & 7yo at 1230am to go try to find another hotel. He agreed to "cancel" my reservation. Currently waiting to make sure the charge goes away bc it is still showing in my account.0/10 experience.

    Room was dirty. Smudges from dirty hands on switches and walls. Mirrors were clearly not cleaned, smudged and streaky. The front desk gal was eating with someone we came in and seemed annoyed that I interrupted her dinner. Was short and not helpful when I asked where the best side of the building to park in regards to where our room was located.

    Conveniently located around a lot of entertainment and attraction malls, and restaurants Staff was not engaging. Had to ask for towels beds didn’t get made or cleaned up. No one came to clean the hotel room for our whole stay which was five days. No one came to change the bedding and give us fresh towels. We had to ask for them. Nothing was done, except the garbage was taken out and we had to ask for that. Also, the cleaning staff couldn’t speak English. Exercise equipment was not working properly. Staff seem to not really care about us having a good experience or comfortable stay.

    The property has a great layout and the rooms are spacious. There was no coffee at breakfast, only one carafe of coffee. It was spring break weekend though, so might have been more busy than normal. Average breakfast offerings, so, not bad. Staff was very friendly. We stayed at a different property the weekend prior and this property was much more family friendly. It was acceptibly clean. It just looks like it needs maintenance, like peeling wallpaper. Moldy caulking in the bathroom. Toilet seat lid is missing a bumper. Minor stuff like that.

    Did not eat the breakfast. The fist room we were assigned to was not fully cleaned. One of the beds was unmade. We were given another room but then had to wait for the new TV box to be installed. The staff were friendly and apologetic and got things resolved quickly. However, when we tried to watch the TV in the evening, we had to unplug and then replug in the cable to the TV box. Every time we shut off the TV we had to do this.

    The hotel and staff were excellent and the breakfast was very good. However, the traffic noise from I-24 was loud and went all night. It was difficult to sleep and very frustrating knowing the next day would be a long travel day. They need to replace the windows with something more soundproofing.

    There were, however, a few issues during our stay. The door to our room was difficult to open and required multiple attempts, even with assistance from staff. While the room itself appeared clean, the television was not functioning, and the bed made a noticeable squeaking sound with movement. We also overheard other guests mentioning they had to change rooms more than once due to cleanliness concerns. Breakfast offered a good variety, including waffles, bagels, sausage, eggs, biscuits, fruit, cereal, and diced potatoes. However, the powdered eggs were somewhat runny. Overall, the staff’s friendliness stood out to us and also a great place for a last minute weekend trip. 😊

    We've been staying at La Quinta Smyrna, TN for many years and the condition of the rooms has been declining while the price is still too high for the value. And now they hold a $100 room deposit which was unadvertised on Expedia. The staff was fine, but this trip in Dec 2025, we found live bed bug larvae on the box spring (we always check)! They gave us a new clear room, but that was the last straw and won't be staying there again.

    It’s an older hotel as all the hotels in Smyrna are, but it’s kept up well. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. We stayed in a suite and it was very roomy!

    The young lady that works at night was extremely rude both times we stayed there. She acts like every time your bothering her when you ask for something. At our last day, she literally told us they were out of toilet paper. Our room was not stuck with toilet paper or Kleenex. Other than her the stay was wonderful.

    Hotel owes us a credit!! Why should we pay full cost; when major things were wrong!!! Also, we paid $25 for our little dog that slept quietly on his blanket all night. He made no mess at all for the $25 charge!! I’m requesting a Full Refund before I call/contact Corporate on our horrible room stay. Room 224. Go run the water now and see how it DOES NOT drain.     I stay with La Quinta whenever its an option and I've never been disappointed! They're rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable and I always have the best sleep of my life. The breakfast was the only disappointment, there was no protein option: no hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, or sausage.

    Went to pull the covers back and discovered bed bugs crawling on top of sheet. Pulled the sheets off the bed and they were all over the mattress. They moved us to a different room which we thought was fine at first, but found that the new room also had bed bugs on the morning of us checking out. The front desk staff were rude and refused to address the situation.

    Checking in the hotel staff did not recognize that this room was already paid for and tried to get us to pay for it. And then charges for incidentals which we haven’t even been in the room yet. The bed had crumbs on it as if it had never been made recently. And the sheet had blood spot on it. The sink had crusty’s on it. If we weren’t tired, I need to leave in the morning. We would’ve asked for a different room. Never again to this place.

    The inside of the property itself wasnt that appealing, for example, the design of the carpets made it appear dirty even if they weren't. The lady at the front desk announced our room number which for most hotels is against policy. Alongside that, I have bite marks all across the side of my body that I slept on, so it appears they had some sort of bed bugs or insects in our room...

    The water pressure in shower could have been more. We got 2 queen beds and they had different sheets, one was itchy and just overall low quality while the other was the complete opposite. Also, if you purchase on a third party site, there is a deposit of about 100$ which wasn't mentioned until check in. Otherwise overall stay was decent and in a good area. Hope this helps. :)

    I've stayed here several times for work and always feel safe as I travel alone. It is near the interstate so it can be a little noisy but I always wear earplugs anyway so it doesn't bother me. Staff is usually always friendly.

    The first room they give me was 316. The door handle was so bad that the lock jammed and could not even get into the room. Went downstairs and got another room 307. Got into the room and it was fairly clean. The 4 bad things about the room 1 the refrigerator was completely frozen up( it took me 30min too unfreeze it with a hair dryer. 2 One of the stand up lamps was about to fall apart. The lamp shade literally fell off while we was trying to go to sleep. I make shift fixxed this as well. 3 one bed had a rather large stain in it. 4 the wall paper and base board were coming off in the bathroom/ the bottom of the door looks like it will fall apart at any time as well. The room is quite for the most part so that was good. And finally a hotel that has lava hot water the way I like it. The shower head was amazing!!!! The last thing is that its been 24hrs and i still have not received my deposit back. Such bad form as I know this can be done on the same day. The La Quinta in Chattanooga is by far better than this one.

    Upon arrival, employee didn’t look up from computer to greet/no name tag/no uniform-got to room- loud music played from an unknown room/other sounds also coming from room- called front desk, no answer, twice- 3 rd time different employee answered - assisted us in getting different room away from party room- got to room- door was opened?- called to verify it was correct room- window wouldn’t shut tightly ?     The hotel staff when I checked in was super nice and made sure to ask if I wanted to be on the 3rd or 4th floor as well as to see if I needed to be close to laundry facilities. However, the heater/air conditioner ran all night blowing cool air even on heat. The lights in the bathroom only the mirror one worked. The last day I was there the elevator quit working so I had to carry all my bags down from the 3rd floor in a hot stairwell. The only good thing about this stay was it was close to where I needed to be. It was not worth the price that I paid and will not stay here again in the future

    I would like to lead with the fact that customer service is excellent, everything else not so much… upon entering my room I was confused as to why there were so many great reviews for this establishment. I opted for La Quinta over sleep inn because I felt like if it’s a priced little bit more expensive, it’s probably going to be higher standard but I was wrong. All I can say is it’s very old and in need of renovations, the beds are not the most comfortable, I spotted a pest. Since I only saw one it very well could’ve just wandered in from outside, but it’s just the fact that of all places I find it in the bed. I won’t even bother, mentioning the amenities because what amenities? I recommend Tru by Hilton in Smyrna and even the avid also located in Smyrna. The lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful.

    The hotel room really badly needs updating. The woodwork on the sinks show lots of wear. The bathtub was scratched and rusted (Room 210). The wallpaper near the window was hanging from the ceiling. For the price we paid, I was expecting more.
