The staff was exceptional. Rhonda and Marcia assisted us in ways that we didn’t even think about before hand. My 96 yo mother was with us and when I called to ask to extend our stay Rhonda suggested a toilet riser and shower chair. These were exactly what we needed to add comfort to our stay. The maid was courteous as well. Not a thing.

Booked due to the location had an indoor pool. We had kids on the trip and the plan was to spend the afternoon swimming eve. If it rained. Pool listed on booking.com. showed up and was informed no pool. It had been shut down for awhile. Made for a long afternoon with some unhappy kids.

The price was a little to expensive

The pressure valve was broke so the water was scalding or ice cold, coffee maker was broke, the juice maker was broke. The coffee maker in the room was missing the coffee pot. The pool was broke which was why we went there !!! The furniture was was all chipped. The rug had a big stain. The tub was stained and dirty. The breakfast food was good.

Exterior was well kept and the entrance was very nice. Close to Food lion which is convenient. The rooms were outdated and honestly pretty nasty. There were stains on the carpet, broken shower tiles, lamps did not work and several other maintenance issues throughout the room. The biggest disappointment was the pool situation. We specifically booked this hotel because it advertised having a pool for the kids. When we arrived, we were told they no longer had one. The kids were devastated since that was the main reason we chose this hotel. When we asked if there could be any kind of discount or accommodation since the hotel was falsely advertised, we were simply told no. We didn’t even receive an apology. Overall, very disappointing experience.

The shower head produced a stinging ,pinpoint spay of water. Breakfast was fair, oatmeal watery, coffee in lobby not kitchen area, standard white and wheat bread and everything bagels (I am not a fan of garlic for breakfast). Was asked by breakfast room staff to wait 5 minutes or so as tray of eggs and sausage were empty and were cooking.

The locations was around everything yet secluded, which was nice for parking and silence. It was easy to navigate too! Everyone was so nice! This has nothing to do with the Hampton inn but we did have a a little disturbance when a family with kids got to the room two doors down. The children were running up and down the hall at 2am.

The elevator I used to access our room on the 4th floor had a problem. When pushing the button for the 4th floor, I had to push it repeatedly over and over for about 30 to 45 seconds before it would light up and begin ascending.

Unfortunately, there was a roach in my room, which made the stay uncomfortable and did not meet the standards I expect from this brand. I hope this issue is addressed to improve the experience for future guests.

One of my best experiences at a hotel. Everything was top notch. Nothing

There was only one tiny trash can in the bathroom. There was no other trash can in the entire room. There was a previous guests used tissue behind the night stand, the beds had crumbs underneath them like they weren't vacuumed in a while and the conditioner in the shower was empty.

The sheets had blood on them. I asked for the room to be cleaned and was told I wasn’t in the list. For $200 a night I shouldn’t have to ask for a clean room and clean towels. The lack of cleaning

The room was nice and the bed comfortable. Bathtub shower rather than walk-in shower. The refrigerator cabinet was beat up a bit.

I liked the king size bed. The hallways looked dirty, the receptionist was rude, the shower didn't drain properly.

Not very clean, out date, shower did not drain properly, no exhaust fans in bathroom, poor lighting, staff had their children with them while working running through the halls and being very noisy at early morning hours.

Price wise Hamptons in my opinion are overly priced no matter where we book.

Friendly staff, cleanliness, close proximity to a woman I love. The breakfast was fine but could have used more bacon. More bacon is always a good thing. Actually, there as no such thing as too much bacon. But, otherwise, there are no downsides to staying at this hotel. More bacon, please.

The room had lots of issues - a broken mirror, non-working lamp, one metal bed base that sounded like a can being crushed when you sat on the edge. It is not well cared for. Also, while some front desk staff were friendly and kind, others seemed like they didn't care about their job OR the people staying at the hotel. The breakfast was not as abundant as other Hampton Inn & Suites I have stayed at. The price was very high for the quality of the hotel and the lack of professionalism from some of the staff.

We did not have a phone in our room, we needed to call the desk and let them know the bathroom light was burned out and couldn’t. The shower took forever to warm up. It was either freezing in the room or we were sweating. The TV wasn’t easy to work, no channel guide. The breakfast was awful. Staff was friendly as can be, they were the best part of our stay.

Breakfast was decent. Menu was about as expected, flavor was good. The place was excellent, comfortable, stylish. And it bloody well had better be, seeing it cost me $169.53 to stay there for ONE night. Unfortunately, it was the only place reasonably close to where I had to be that weekend. My alternates to are stay in Suffolk or Newport News. Come to think of it, that may have had something to do with the pricing. Little matter of lack of competition . . . . . ?

The location is perfect for me to visit with family. Breakfast in the morning was hot & tasty. The kitchen staff was very friendly & welcoming. The front desk staff are also very friendly. The only thing I don't care for about this hotel is you can't draw the curtains shut to block the light in the morning. I'm not a morning person & prefer not to wake up between 6-6:30.

The coffee offered is excellent. I tavel a lot for business and expect nasty "hotel coffee". Here, it was genuine, tasty coffee that I enjoyed. Hilton does indeed set the standard.

This hotel is nice, clean, spacious and comfortable. The pillows sucked as per usual for every hotel I stay but I just take my own. The chair at the desk was disgusting!!! It was so dirty I'd be ashamed if it was something I owned. Staff girl was NOT friendly!

DO NOT STAY! BED BUG INFESTED!!!! This was by far the worst stay I’ve ever had in a hotel. I woke up to bugs crawling in the bed. I immediately called the front desk for someone to come and confirm what feared. I will say, the front desk attendant was absolutely wonderful in dealing with the situation. The housekeeping manager or whoever she was on the other hand was an absolute mess. She kept saying the bedding was brand new. The front desk attendant had to tell her at least twice, it’s not the bedding. These bugs are in the creases of the mattress. Then she had the nerve to keep insinuating I brought them with me. I also had a family member staying on a totally different floor also experience the same. I called corporate to advise that this hotel is absolutely disgusting and needs to be renovated immediately. The furniture is all stained, the carpet is torn, the walls are stained, fixtures are broken and should cease operation immediately!

1)the air conditioner in the room was very noisy (to the point it would wake us up) 2)the room keys would not work in the exterior entry doors so we could only enter through the front of the building. Staff/employees were friendly and helpful which made the stay very enjoyable.

I arrived late, checked in and had to leave almost immediately after check in to be with family. I didn’t realize I was in a smoking room until later that night. I didn’t call for change because it was so late. But the room was awful. My cloths, even my cloths in my overnight bad smelled. Is it normal to put people in smoking rooms without asking?

First of all. I like all Hilton properties and only stay at Hamptons. I’ve stayed at this one several times. This stay we noticed the property seemed dated and in need of renovation. Mold in the bathroom. Dirty furniture. Rugs could use a good cleaning. Toilets too low. Poor lighting in the bathroom. Bathtub diverter needs repair. On a good note staff was fantastic! We checked in late and the room we were given was horrible. One of the beds was broken, a metal wife cover fell off when I tried to turn a light on, the ac wasn’t on and it was hot in the room, and the bed skirt on the broken bed had dried blood on it. Will never stay here again

The upholstered furniture in the room (chairs) was so old and stained, I had to put a towel down before sitting on the them. In the lobby area, they were very dirty and ugly too. Smell in hallways was not pleasant. Bed was decent, not great. A/C was noisy and erratic. I won't stay here again.

Comfortable and clean room. The area appeared safe! The staff was very friendly! The parking is free as well!

I requested a room with a bathtub and they wouldn’t accommodate that request even though it seemed that they had one. Found the bed hard and not comfortable. The rug was old and stained. The room was clean though and had a micro and a frig. Breakfast was delicious. Various flavored pancake mixes and hot oatmeal. Scrambled eggs & sausage patty. Pool was beautiful. Very disappointed I didn’t get a bathtub thus the low rating.

Nice property with great customer service.

This property did not seem like a Hampton Inn, the rooms are in need of a remodel. (Baseboards, picture frames, lamp shades, electric panels ALL broken or chipped in areas) We had three different rooms 402, 202 and 310 that were all in similar condition. This was very disappointing since I pushed my Husband for us to stay at this property that usually carries a better reputation and quality standards. I could go on about a few more things that need changed but turning to a more positive note, we felt safe and the breakfast was descent.

There was a large group of people having a cookout, playing cornhole, and drinking in front of the hotel’s entrance until 1:00 am

Great stay

The girl at the front desk was on a personal phone call the entire time she was checking me in. She was polite enough. It just felt inappropriate, disrespectful. She was on a personal call every time I saw her during my one night stay.

Staff were very helpful. One of the guests tracked mud into the building, but otherwise rooms and building were very clean and pleasant.

Always a great stay! Been staying here for the last 2 years, about every 3 months!

I liked how it was easy to request and get new towels and breakfast each morning.

By the third night we had enough hot water. It appears that hot water heaters will be replaced soon.

Everything is clean and in very good condition. Excellent property.

It's a good place to stay when we visit. Staff is service focused and very nice to interact with. Breakfast is wonderful!

The hot water did not work.

I ordered a handicapped room near the elevator or on first oor. Got 4th floor snd was told it was hsndicapped fitted. IT WAS NOT. Toilet was super low to the ground with no grab bar. Got a bathtub instead of z roll i shower i hsd asked for. Sink in baghroo. Wzs too hight to sccess from wheelchair. Could only Ccess o e side of the bed. Room was unacceptable

The carpet in the room I was staying in had at least 2 major stains of at least 2 feet. The heating system made additional noise when it came on.

Our room was huge!

Room was a great size and very usable space. Largest complaint was the hot water. Don't know if it was because we were on the 1st floor, but it took several minutes to get warm water. After 5 additional minutes in the shower, was the water actually approaching hot!. Went to get breakfast at 9:30 and many items were already being put away even though breakfast was supposed to be served until 10:00 am.
