Clean, very comfortable

This place I will give 5 stars at anytime because they place was clean, well organized, front desk was kind I love the breakfast I will not hesitate to suggest to anyone check them out you won’t regret.

Clean room, friendly staff,.excellent breakfast. I definitely recommend this hotel for families and couples. Lots of construction on roads next to hotel but hopefully that will be gone soon.

Stay here!!! Everything was wonderful…quiet modern large room. Bigger flat screens. Great linens n pillows. Wonderful bath products. Yummy creative breakfasts with lots of choices. And the employees were super kind and friendly!!!

Comfortable and clean hotel. We found it to be in a convenient location, and the hot protein options for breakfast were good. The nearby street construction created some issues, but we didn’t hold that against the hotel.

Be aware of the difference between city and suburban taxi drivers if you stay in Skokie and go by taxi to events in Chicago itself. Cabs to events, like Wrigley Field, are OK for price, but if that suburban company is not pre-arranged to meet you at a set time and location, hailing a city cab back to Skokie can - and did - triple our costg.

Whenever I come to Chicago I always stay at your hotel. I’ve never been disappointed and the staff is great!

Fernando was extremely helpful for us. We booked wrong days and he helped us book another room for the night and not have to move out and back in the next day. He's always happy and helpful and inspiring. The other staff was accommodating also. Breakfast options were also great. Coffee bar was a great addition. I thought of something then forgot. So I guess nothing.

Really enjoyed our 3-night stay at this hotel. I am picky and this was Hampton Inn was clean, the staff was friendly, and they allowed my golden retriever!! Highly recommend!!

Great breakfast and huge lounge area.

We have stayed here before and have always been very happy with our stay. The room was great, the bed was very comfortable and the brand of shampoos and lotions provided are great. The only frustrating thing was the booming music that came from the room above us as it lasted all evening until after midnight. This needs to be addressed. People don't care that they are disturbing other guests with their loud music.

My only issue is if it's Hilton mandate not to have a daily housekeeping tidy-up, that needs to be stated clearly up front, actually at booking. I'd rather book two single nights than have to make my own beds and tidy up while on holiday. That's not a holiday.

I am charged $300.00 because I used iron my shirt. Even though I am not a smoker, the system they in room assumed I smoked in the room. Now I have to get a hold of the manager.

Helpful staff clean and quiet room. The hotel was very busy, but our room was still quiet. Amenities were good and location was key.

It’s the kind of hotel that leaves an impression—graceful, modern, and tranquil. I found it hard to leave and can’t wait to return.

Breakfast was just ok. The room was small and the setup was odd so it made moving around a little challenging. Staff didn’t keep things replenished but when asked if there was more they did get it for us. The rooms were nice and roomy and even tho Expedia’s room description showed that a sofa bed was included, turns out it was not, but the hotel gave us a room upgrade to accommodate at no additional cost. Overall very pleased with our stay!

Great in every way! The staff was very attentive and friendly.

I usually go to this property for my little daughters birthday and never had an issue but this time around it was like we were a problem there this time I never felt unwanted until this stay! The pool was packed plenty of children yelling playing and out of everyone they only call me to say my children were the ones, mind you we have a adult with them in pool area, there was over 15/20 children in there and all were yelling playing with the pool toys that were there. I never wanted to just get up and leave and be ok with losing out on the money I spent until this stay my family and I will not be returning

From Checking in to checking out, everything was great and there was no issue. Jose who checked us in was very friendly and efficient. And people who served in breakfast area were all hard workers.

I booked a King Studio Suite - Hotel gave me a queen room - on reporting to front desk they did resolve it but as a root cause I was told incorrect information was fed to their system from Expedia. My confirmation email from Expedia did mention King Studio Suite though.

Staff support? Hah! There was no staff support. The woman who checked me in was in such a frenzy she repeated the same instructions to me 4 times. When I pointed this out to her, she simply shook her head. When I asked for a handicapped room she said "OK and then gave me a room 1/2 mile past the elevator., which was certainly not handicapped accessible. When I asked for assistance with my bags and walker her response to me was "We're working on it. "I also asked that my room be cleaned and for fresh towels the next day. That was another laugh. My room was exactly as I left it at 9:30 in the morning.. I received a message from Fernando asking me to come down to Reception and ask for him so that we could discuss my issues. Is a handicapped person supposed to make special trips to complain about poor service? I was angry then and I'm angry now. It will be a very long time before I stay in any Hilton Hotel again. I consider that I paid for 2 rooms (my fault) in a sloppy, poorly managed organization.

The staff member who checked us in, I think his name was Alex but I don't remember exactly, was so welcoming and kind and went out of his way to help us and get us water and snacks. He was incredible! We checked in around 8:30 pm on a Thursday night.

The room was clean and the lobby was clean as well as festive. The fire alarm went off at around 230ish am... everyone in the hotel was fairly calm and not too shaken. It was a false alarm so theres that.

Check-in took quite a while as there was a very long line at the front desk, about 20 minutes. I had booked a king room a couple weeks ahead of time but upon arrival at 3pm, I was told that all there was left available were rooms with two double beds as they were "overbooked." We were in town going to a concert celebrating my wife's birthday. I told the desk associate that was unacceptable. After some deliberation, they managed to find us a room with a king bed. The staff were very nice and the room was modern and clean. Despite the hiccup checking in, I would definitely stay here again.

I wouldn’t stay any place but a place that ends in inn. This Hampton end did not disappoint. A bit of an older building but was clean, had everything we needed and the staff was helpful. Good place for a quick overnight or business stay.

Getting to hotel is a mess, due to street construction, but not your fault. The hotel was nice and well-staffed.

Staff super friendly. And its about the little things ya know... like a little TP flower on the TP roll, origami with the Kleenex tissue. My daughter and I were probably looking lost as we were looking for the pool and a staff member was kind to go out of their way to direct us. And it's nice and quiet. Exactly what we were looking for and needing.

Welcoming staff, clean rooms, convenient to who we want to visit, good breakfast. We've stayed here for a week for rach of the last 5 years. Always good. Once the state/ city gets the road work complete it'll be even better.

Overall it was excellent. There were some things that I would have liked. More lighting. Better sofa. Mine has a broken sofa bed that left a slanted seating surface. My blinds did not function well. But overall it was an excellent stay. Breakfast each day was very nice. Staff very pleasant as well. Excellent parking and plentiful spaces.

Stay was great. Only issue was not with the hotel. It was the construction in the area that made it uncomfortable to get in and out.

The hotel is clean and the room very spacious and spotless. Customer service was really amazing...

We ended up with a flat tire that we found on our way to the airport. Thank goodness FRANK AND FRANCISCO helped us with our spare and we did get to the airport on time! They went above and beyond! Also all your front desk staff were very helpful and personable and engaging. It felt like coming home when we arrived back at the hotel.

Too much contraction near by and room kinds of cold

The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. The one suggestion I have would be to install some water bottle filling stations.(like Elkay). A lot of people myself included trying to fill our water bottles from the glass cooler is by the front desk. Kind of a sanitation problem because the mouth of everyone’s bottle is touching the faucet.

There was major construction surrounding the hotel. Difficult to get in and out during our stay.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I needed to use the gym and two of the four treadmills didn’t work. This was not a major dislike but I believe if you’re going to offer a gym. Make sure your equipment is working properly and if not have it repaired. Over all, really nice facility with a good breakfast.

The lady and gentleman at the front desk were really nice, the room was clean and not too dated. Comfortably stayed here with my family. Oh and the breakfast was actually worth getting out of bed for.

If you are traveling on a budget, this is an excellent hotel. It does look like it could use a bit of renovation, but it’s still not bad at all for the price. I loved that we didn’t have to pay for the parking or the WiFi, however, they will ask for you to pay 5$ per night if you would like to use the internet for videos or movies and so. They said the free WiFi is more for simple tasks like emailing and reading. The staff were phenomenal! One thing I struggled with was the breakfast. I don’t eat any pork products and almost all of their hot cooked breakfast has some form of pork product ( oil, sausage,…) and I eat healthy foods so I didn’t have much left to eat. Other than that it was a good experience.

Thank you for the opportunity to share about our stay. I cannot say enough about your staff. Every person who you met whether at the front desk or walking in any hallway was smiling and super helpful in every way. I needed assistance in the laundry facility, (totally my issue), I asked for help and was assisted immediately. Our stay was enjoyable and would recommend this location. Only negative was the road construction near the entrance, but that is unavoidable as progress was being made.

Was there for Northwestern graduation and the hotel had decorations celebrating the event. Felt welcomed. Good breakfast option with waffles. Comfortable bed and easy parking. The shower faucet needed some fixing at room 303, as it didn’t stay in place.

The room is very clean. Everything is so convenient. There are many hooks in the bathroom . The shower is extremely strong flow. Good breakfast. Environment is safe. I love to come back some time.

Our stay was uneventful. Our room was a good size, very clean, and housekeeping was very responsive. The hotel must’ve been very busy because it was difficult to reach the front desk. However, once I reach the front desk, whatever it is, I needed was taken care of.promptly. I would certainly stay here again.

Clean, friendly staff, nice area. Had the double queen suite for my kids, and was pleased by the spaciousness. The kitchenette was a plus!

We really enjoyed our weekend at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Skokie. Everyone at the front desk was very nice & helpful. The room was very clean & we had the suite which was very roomy. Will definitely be back next time we come to town!
