The hotel was centrally located for our visit with the family. The room was large and the price was reasonable. We enjoyed our stay.

The Day Shift Desk person was not very accommodating with changing rooms due to having a plugged up toilet. He said he would send up a plunger for us to unclog the toilet. We left for four hours and after returning the toilet was still plugged up. I went to the front desk and the guy said he would give me a plunger. He said we must have plugged it up and we needed to unplug it. I told him if the plunger wasn’t attached to a maintenance man don’t bother sending up a plunger. I told him it was not our job to do their maintenance for them. I requested to be moved to a new room and with some hesitation on his part, he said he would call me in a few minutes to let us know what room he could move us to. After an hour of waiting, I returned to the front desk and he was gone, his shift was over. He never even left a message with the 2nd Shift person. The 2nd Shift person was extremely helpful, accommodating and apologetic for the Day Shift person. We were given a new room that turned out to be a very clean room and had a working toilet!

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, very clean, and well-We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Mr Ty Small was kind understanding and amazing! Had 2 nights booked came in early got us into a room so the 3 nights we were there we didn’t have to move our stuff! Breakfast was nasty! Not everyone is a health nut.. real bacon and sausage and regular eggs would be amazing !

I love the staff here they are extremely friendly, Relaxed and cool. I love the space. I usually have problems with one or more of the TV's in my room. Some rooms the plumbing is off meaning the water pressure. Other than that It's a good stay.

This hotel is always clean and well maintained. The breakfast is delicious. Our room was clean and the cleaning staff kept our towels and soaps replenished.

We have stayed here several times while visiting family. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the lobby/dining room always looks nice. The staff make us feel very welcome with each stay.

Couch in room was dirty and stained. Restroom in lobby was dirty. Trash can at the entrance was filled and over flowing. Staff was helpful and friendly.

We stay here every year in January visiting family and have never been disappointed. Staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast is average, and it is in a good location.

Breakfast was delicious with good options (except no bananas). Parking was easy and convenient. Good location near many food options. Housekeeping did not come as expected (maybe we missed a notice?). Some technical issues with our room key before check-out, and we were surprised the pool was closed in April. Overall it was a pleasant stay in spite of those issues.

Nice clean, spacious room. Everything is good, working order, i.e. air conditioning, shower, tv, etc. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good and fresh. Area clean and well kept.

Get your key system fixed. We were locked out of our room the morning of check out. This is the second time this has happened in our last two stays. The door key had to be reset both times. This is just unbelievable now of days with the advancement in technology.

Fire alarm going off at 2:30am forcing guests outside 3 consecutive nights in a row

During our stay, two out of four nights the fire alarm went off between 2 and 2:30 am. The first time, we were told that the alarm was pulled off the wall. The 2nd time, we did not to speak with manger. Built the hotel should have better security to ensure people can’t just walk in the hotel. Or if they did have security then they should have remove the people the 1st time. I’m only assuming that it was the same people.

Great location, great service, great facility

Nice property, very new and clean. Front desk staff was fine, although sometimes absent. I asked three different people why the internet TV didn’t work in my room and on a five night stay nobody ever fixed the problem or addressed it in any way.

Check in went smoothly and the front desk associate was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. However, the feather pillows quickly depressed and became as soft as concrete under my head. This made a great night's sleep impossible. Breakfast was excellent and the eating area was spacious and comfortable.

The breakfast was okay, however the weekend hours started a bit later that I would have liked. The staff was very friendly though.

So much is done well at Fairfield Simpsonville. Great room, great shower, clean, quick and easy check-in. Was unimpressed by breakfast our second morning. We cane down in the middle of breakfast hours to find no hot options, no batter to make a waffle, few options in the cooler, i emptied the hot water (with only getting 6 oz), and soneone else finished the coffee. There were probably a dozen people looking around for breakfast and finding minimal options.

Room & entire hotel was clean. Housekeeping refreshed towels and made bed every other day. Complimentary water in room. Breakfast had good choices and attendant kept options full. My son enjoyed using the fitness room. Pleasant stay and will stay here again.

The breakfast options were great and were kept filled by the staff. I especially love the coffee and tea 24/7 so I can make myself a cup of tea after being out and about all day.

Room itself was not at it's best. Toilet handle in first room broke. The Mgr. set us up with another though. That room had the shower soap tube fall off the wall. Breakfast was nicely done and the entire staff was courteous and helpful. Overall, it was good.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a little dated and the breakfast was just standard breakfast. They don’t serve coffee 24hrs but will provide it for your room.

We were disappointed that there was only one regular coffee K-cup and one de-caf K-cup at check-in. No additional coffee was provided on second day and again on day three only one of each. Coffee in the lobby was only available during breakfast hours.

All is good except the toilets are so low to the floor we can't use them. As a 81 year old adult I can't get up if i sit that low. We don't have this problem in other hotels.

The hotel was very convenient and comfortable and quiet. In addition some fast food, ice cream and Walgreens were nearby. We had a nice stay there.

The stay was awesome couldn’t tell you the guys name that checked us in but was amazingly friendly and answered any questions. The other staff after that night was hardly to be found and acted like they were annoyed. The beds were very comfortable but the pillows were flatter than a pancake. The first day of food was great with eggs, sausage and bacon. The second day the eggs tasted off and the only option was sausage. The other food was typical of a hotel. The pool for some reason was closed and never got an answer on that. Other than that a great stay and more than likely will stay again since it is very close to family and options for food.

This is an easy hotel to go see Heritage Park concerts. The only issue with our room probably be the toilet. The handle was a little bit wobbly, and the seat bolts look like one of them might’ve been broken. Other than that it was excellent.

Very disappointed the pool pump was broken it did not let us know that when we booked it we were coming with 16 year-old boys in town for a baseball tournament and they were really looking forward to swimming because it was super hot! They also did not tell us it was broken when we checked in. We would’ve never booked if we had no. The front desk said it had been broken for two weeks and probably going to be another two weeks before it’s fixed. They should’ve let us know that or discount discounted the rate

This is my go to property when traveling in this area. My oids and I enjoy the breakfast buffet and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Staff was very pleasant, property was well kept and convenient.

The breakfast was good, I liked the 11:00am checkout, the room was clean, and it was quiet. The only thing is on our last day we went and ate the continental breakfast and when we returned to our room the electronic key wouldn’t work. The guy at the desk said it’s been happening and didn’t know why.

We connected our phones to the hotel's WiFi, with no problem. However, using the exact same procedure, I were unable to connect our Roku stick to the hotel's WiFi. Likewise, I was unable to connect my tablet. With the error message that both devices were unable to connect to WiFi, it was suggested that we contact the front desk. I attempted to do so, but the room phone was completely dead, no dial tone at all. Normally, we enjoy watching shows we have recorded before we get ready for bed when we are staying in a hotel. We had no problems in any of the other hotels we stayed at - only the Fairmont.

The room was allright there was a couple of things on the floor that cleaning missed no big deal. The worst was the mold behind the shower door u can see it didn’t get cleaned there everybody was friendly The continental breakfast was ok except the waffle maker was broke for the last two days I was there

We have stayed here several times. It needs a bit of refreshing as it is starting to look worn. Also, there was mold in the bottom of the shower near the grout lines. A little bleach goes a long way. Towels are also a bit worn

Room was comfortable and bed was great! Refrigerator was making a lot of noise so we just unplugged it. I would have given this a five star rating except the day we were supposed to leave early and counted on their free breakfast, it was unavailable due to someone late. Left leaving disappointed

It was all good but on Friday 1/17, the breakfast did not have enough napkins pancake batter and eggs, coffee syrup available for the customers without people having to request it. On Saturday it was great

I reserved two rooms for 4 nights. Only one of the rooms had any room service. Room 420/424. 420 was taken care of… 424 wasnt.

The staff is, hands down, the best we’ve experienced in years. Pleasant, accommodating, and attentive. We’ll be back.

The representatives that both checked me in and out were amazing. They were polite, friendly, and gave great service The room was amazing and comprable to the cost. The bed was the best I've seen in a hotel in a long time. The hotel location was perfect.

The staff was great and the property was clean. The outside could use some sprucing up and my toilet was constantly not working.

My wife and I didn't stay the night. No electricity and every eating establishment near the hotel was closed. Plus the performance we were there to see was cancelled right before we arrived. I know a hurricane came through but I thought the hotel would have generators. Not a fun trip.

The rooms need a facelift.

Room smelled like stale cigarette smoke, mirrors dirty, hairs in shower and all over bathroom (different color than my ginger hair ), slow draining shower… all around poor experience when I was in town for a funeral. Breakfast and coffee was good.

Overall, the property was well-maintained. However, 1 elevator was broken and the last night the other elevator was not working, which meant we had to walk up 4 flights of stairs. What isn’t to love about this property!! At every turn, someone is asking how they can help you! The rooms are spotless and your needs are anticipated! Breakfast is fantastic and the dining room is kept beautifully! I have stayed in many five star hotels and this one is comparable in terms of not so much amenities, although there is a pool of course and a workout room, but in terms of how well the property is kept! Location is perfect! If you have a sweet tooth, there’s ice cream two doors down! Walmart is just a couple of blocks away! Freeways to everywhere are just around the corner! Many thanks to all the staff who took care of us for the last four days!! Kudos to you!

Hair drier in room had a defective switch. Soap caddy on the shower wall was was loose.

The room was nice and the price was reasonable. The only issue was that is was described as a suite, but it was more of a long room with little division between the areas.

The only problem we had was the a/c made noise all night. A rattling sound.

Everything was great. My disappointment was that I reserved a king sized room but it was given away before I arrived so I had to take a two queen room.

The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Continental breakfast is good. Would like to have fresh fruit other than bananas and apples. Also, the tables were not cleaned between people sitting there. I had to clean our table every morning. People are messy.

From start to finish our stay was fantastic, check in was quick and staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Beds were amazing, same as the pillows. Breakfast was just the same hotel food, but great for a quick bite. Definitely will be back.

Toilet didn’t work in first room - moved us to another room and issues with AC and bathroom but staff was excellent in trying to resolve issues.

The hotel was conveniently located to the placea i needes to go. Front deak was great. The breakfast person was a little rude when i poured juice down a coffee drain that was not a drain. The peraon was a little upset when she told me. Her tone of voice could have been nicer. There was no sign saying it was not a drain. I apologized to her but she juat shooked her head and walked away with it to dump it out..

This hotel was close to a show we came to see, and it was super convenient. Everything was clean, and went seamless! We also enjoy the breakfast.

It's fine. People were nice. Clean enough. Ok breakfast. Free refills on coffee was a plus. Pool was closed. Smelled a little musty in the room.

Check in was not that helpful

Great staff, average amenities, needs serious upgrades! Electrical tape on exit door handles, uneven carpet in elevators ( lawsuit waiting to happen), homeless residents and construction crews (working elsewhere not on hotel). Elevator extremely loud. Avoid second floor and at least the first 3 rooms near the elevator. The staff was fantastic though. Everyone kind, helpful and working hard!
