Clean, quiet, comfortable, very friendly owners.

Our room was clean. We saw the staff once when we checked in. We tried to get more towels, but no one was in the office. Pillows were not comfortable. It was also close to the highway, so it was not a quiet night.

All good except for one bed, it was a bit loud and sunk way down when you lay on it

Easy check in. Expedia somehow mixed up the dates but he was able to get me a room for the night. The noise from the road was a little loud but not too busy, and the room was very comfortable for the price. Convenient to have the fridge a microwave. Beautiful area!

Clean room. One suggestion: use a white blanket and cover instead of the brown that doesn’t show cleanliness well.

The Maple Leaf is a classic roadside motel that has been nicely updated and maintained. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, had nice amenities, and was absolutely immaculate. There’s a nice garden area with a 2-person swing and some tables and chairs, as well as a cooking area with a propane grill. Although they’ve added a two-story addition to the original footprint, it is still a delightfully small, friendly, quiet place to be.

Excellent stay. The service was limited but that was ok, we just needed a quick check in and key to the room. Room was very comfortable, clean, and had AC which was an added bonus that we haven’t encountered at other motels of this size. Beds were comfortable and fridge was a nice addition. Perfect stop for a quick night’s rest before heading up to crater. One piece of advice. Park facing out, as the lot gets full/crowded at night and it can be a tight squeeze!

Standard motel vibe, right off road. Bed was fine, room was clean, a/c worked fine, thankfully, as it was 100 degrees when I arrived. Mini-fridge barely worked (not cold), and no instructions on the tv so took a lot of scrolling to find things. Bright light outside door was annoying, the plastic vertical shades do not shut out light completely. For the cost (almost $300 for 2 nights), I wouldn’t stay here again.

Clean and cute

We arrived very late after a long day of travel. Although we were nearly past the check in window the front desk staff was so warm and welcoming even at the tail end of his day. Although dated the room was VERY clean and the beds were comfortable.

Was quiet and clean

Housekeeping checked on us this morning to see if we needed anything and provided us with extra coffee, We truely have enjoyed our stay at the Maple Leaf Motel and the town of Shady Cove.

This is such a cute hotel. The flowers were really pretty on the property. The room was very clean and wonderfully decorated. The staff was very nice everything was super clean. The shower had tons of pressure too!

This is not a five star hotel but they do a great job for what they are. The room was very clean and the staff was nice. The bathrooms were very clean and stocked. Just a very nice job for a simple place in a good location for crater lake. Everything is far and they are a place I would recommend.

An average motel in a cute little town about an hour from Crater Lake National Park. Room was clean and updated but the bathroom was old and dated. Our A/C unit struggled to keep our room cool but it was unusually hot. The rooms are priced appropriately. The beds are comfortable.

Nice bed. Quick and easy check in. Walked to the river and ate at the Mexican restaurant.

We stayed a night on the way to Crater Lake, the outside seating area looked nice, but we didn’t have time to use this. Comfortable beds. You are on a main road, so do get traffic noise early morning. My only gripe was no blackout curtains, but overall a great stay.

There was a dirty towel behind the door of the bathroom and dust in the room obviously the cleaning doesn’t get very in depth

The door dead bolt fell off. The corner of the bedroom had a big spider and web. I would not recommend ever staying here until they clean up the property.

Small river front resort town. Old refurbished motel. Think 1960’s. Feels like time travel to another era. Very adequate and updated in a modest way. Expectations: good night’s sleep. Got it!

Cleanliness, attention to detail, quality of the furnishings.

I like supporting local businesses and decided to stay here while visiting Lassen Park. You could hear some highway noise at night while in the room, but able to sleep through it.

This is a small family run motel. We stayed to have access to Crater Lake. The owners were very friendly and warm. We parked right in front of the room. The room was nicely decorated with hardwood floors. In addition to the A/C, there was a ceiling fan. The ceiling fan provided enough breeze that we could shut the A/C off when we slept. The room was immaculate. I liked that the shower had a sliding door as opposed to a shower curtain that you see at most hotels. I was a liitle concerned about how close the motel is to the main road, but we didnt hear any road noise in the room at all. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this motel to anyone visiting this area.

I liked the area out in front where you can sit and eat or just enjoy the breeze in the early morning and evening. Maid service was very nice.

Nice, well maintained property.

The room had spiders and ants. Other than that, it was fine, and I guess the options in the area are limited. We also experienced a power outage during our stay, which caused a water outage as well. That's not there fault, but did not make for a great experience.

I not a motel type person, but this place had high reviews and we needed a place to stay. I’m glad we did because it was so cute and clean!! Close by Crater Lake and staff was so accommodating to us coming in late. Great experience!!!

Well the inn was next to the highway. It was noisy

Original Mom and Pop motor hotel (motel) that has been upgraded to current-day standards. It was clean, the air conditioning worked, the staff was friendly and helpful, but the town lack amenities and the highway is close by and noisy. The beds are comfortable and the sheets soft but the blankets are the standard motel brown and the top cover somewhat scary-looking. The room is freshly painted with new windows and the bathroom was clean, well-lit and large.

Note sandy cove is a lovely little town but requirements close early. We are at the Burger place that was part of a laundrette... The food was incredibly good. In the morning we had a nice breakfast at the fishing hole. The entire town was lovely and everyone was friendly.

The property is a little like stepping back in time to when our parents took road trips. However, the place is clean, well maintained and a surprisingly pleasant experience in a time of corporate hotel stays. I would most definitely recommend staying and would stay sgain

This was a comfortable place to stay. The check I was easy and employees very nice.

Super clean, super comfortable. Check in was very easy and the gentleman at the desk was very pleasant. Highly recommended for an overnight stop on the way to crater lake or rafting on the upper rogue river.

Clean, comfortable beds, a/c worked well but finding the occasional ant or six on the toilet, in the shower, on the a/c control was a bit disturbing.

This is a charming property in a beautiful town! We arrived very late and very tired. The owner had our room open for us, and we loved walking into our clean, welcoming space that night. Beds were comfy, it was quiet, and we had plenty of space for our family of 4 and large suitcases. While we were only there for one, short night, we were very satisfied with the property.

There was a fair amount of road noise but if you don’t mind running the fan all night it drowns it out. They need a curtain with the blinds because the outside porch light shines through when you are trying to sleep

This is an excellent motel in Shady Cove. Extremely nice and friendly people and the room was very big. The room and bathroom were spotless! Microwave and coffee maker were a plus. Definitely will stay here again when visiting family in the area.

Maple Leaf Motel was the very first motel I’ve ever stayed in. Don’t let the word “Motel” fool you. I was thinking I booked some shady lil motel in Shady Cove, but I was wrong. This Motel is awesome!! I’m happy I chose to stay at Maple Leaf Motel on my Crater Lake trip ☺️
