Nice comfortable room. Friendly staff.

Would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. We stayed here for two nights when we were visiting crater Lake. It was during the summertime so we were spending a lot of time by the lake and coming back to the hotel late as the days were longer and we wanted to make the best out of our time. However, this hotel never mentioned that the lobby closes at 10 pm. If you come after 10 pm, they will leave your room key for you and tell you where to find them. After our first night we went to the lobby to tell them that we need a room cleaned and the person working there question does because we were leaving the next day but we still needed fresh set of towels. However, this wasn’t even the worst problem. we booked for two nights well in advance but when we came back to the hotel on our second night our room keys did not work and I checked the location that they kept the keys the first time and found an additional set of keys which no one told me about but those also did not work. There were two emergency phone numbers listed on the lobby door. We called the first one which did not pick up so we left a voice message. Then we called the second one and somebody picked up who was extremely rude and just told us why we were coming to the hotel late anyway thank God the first Number called us back and eventually sent people to let us in our rooms but this was extremely unpleasant experience.

You must know it is an older hotel but it’s kept very nice and clean and everyone was friendly. The river access is so nice and they were so accommodating with our small pet. I would stay there again. Definitely the only thing that was a little unusual was the maid came in when we were gone, and I never saw any kind of thing that you put on the door so that was a little odd but all in all we had a great time we were there for a short family two nights stay to do other activities in the area. It’s also within close walking distance to lots of restaurants.

We loved it here. The river view room was excellent. The only thing is the hot water was luke warm. We are already planning our next vacation and will definitely stay there again..

I love this place!

The hotel was great like always. Pretty bummed to find out I’ve been paying 30$ more a night booking through Hotels.com vs just booking straight through the hotel. Won’t make that mistake again.

Riverfront, quiet, safe, spacious room.

The rooms are clean but the beds (2 queens) were not comfortable, my husband and I both struggled to get comfortable and woke up with back pain. Also, headboards are not attached to wall securely and thud anytime you hit them. The two younger staff members (a guy and a gal) were very friendly but the older manager lady with grey hair was not the kindest when questioned about breakfast or lack thereof. There aren’t many options in the area so I can’t say I won’t stay here again out of necessity, I just wish they offered their guests a little more. My dog got more in a welcoming bag!

It is very well run. The rooms were very clean, and the staff was very courteous!! It’s November and the Jacuzzi is on and working and lots of beautiful Christmas decorations. Very nice!

Great room over looking the rouge river. Had a kitchenette with a two burner stove top, frig and sink. Very nice for longer stays, I perfer making my morning coffee with a French press. They even had pots and pans! Plus, a faux fire place with a heater built in.

We absolutely loved this hotel! We walked in to the room and loved how spacious it was. We were so happy the bathroom was seperated from the bed area and that it had a large sink/vanity area. The view out our door was amazing! A light up trail and a river with a deck right outside the doors. We loved it! Highly recommend!

Great place to stay when going to Crater Lake National Park

Either expedia or this hotel takes sales tax and wont refund the money. Whos taking the sales tax what a fraud is going on. Reported to Oregon Department of Justice.

Beautiful view of the River. Even if you get a room without a view, there is a path and deck where you can go to enjoy the river. Rooms are standard but comfortable and clean. Water pressure was great.

I have stayed here many times in the past 30 years and always love this place by the Rogue River, and I appreciate that they are pet friendly. The only complaint I have is that the bed and pillows were hard and uncomfortable. I found myself tossing from side to side to get pressure relief on my hips. Mattresses and pillows need to be updated.

Beautiful river view, room was clean and bed was very comfortable. The Mexican restaurant across the river is excellant. Hotel is only 45min from crator lake National Park.

This was a nice little place along the river, quiet and quaint. The room had everything we needed and was super comfortable and staff were great.

The only thing they offered their guests in the morning was coffee (which was not good either). Not even some energy bars, granola bars or apples. How much more would that cost them? I would not choose to stay here again.

It was a nice place and the workers were very nice. What I didn’t like is we were up on 2nd floor and had to take stairs. I didn’t realize it was a motel. Hard on the knees!

We enjoyed our river view room with our toddler. Our room had plenty of space for him to run around, a balcony with a river view, and it was so quiet. We didnt walk around mich due to wildfire smoke, but it was a nice stay before jwading out to Crater Lake (1.5 hr drive)

We were passing through but would have liked more time in the area. Room was super clean and we loved the balcony looking out to the river. Staff friendly and helpful. Reasonable price.

This is a wonderful older motel with charm. My balcony and river view was fantastic. Staff was great, room was charming. Pool was wonderful! It was a great stay!

Staff was extremely friendly. Also after realizing I had left something in my room, I called the front desk to ask if they would ship the item home for me and they did. I of course reimbursed them for the postage they paid, but I was very appreciative that they were willing to do that for me.

Property was clean and safe. The WiFi was horrible. Staff super friendly. Room was dated. Stayed here about ten days over the past three years

Is a great quiet hotel and property, the office was a bit hard to get the hotel service to the room but I found a maid and she was outstanding and extremely helpful!

They state they are unable to provide email invoices and I left w/o receiving a paper invoice. Since I had to leave early (dog was ill), I am unable to get any documentation of charges to file an insurance claim (charged both days though left a day early). Upon calling, the desk person explained they could only fax a paper copy of a receipt as they are "old school" and w/o a computer. Obvsiously, most people don't have a fax machine to receive faxes. This day and age, it seems an unacceptable way to do business.

We had a room on the Rogue River with convenient and walkable dining options in the small Town of Shady Grove.

Ac in 102 is a must. They had it where others did not. Clean, comfortable and quiet.

I’d only say the electrical outlets need to tighten. Perhaps a water fountain, but we enjoyed our stay. The front desk even let us check in early, because we weren’t sure if we would be back from Crater Lake in enough time. We got our keys when we came back.

This place was Amazing! From the Desk Service to the huge well Appointed rooms! And the River access We have stayed in other places in Town but never again! I’m shocked that what they offer compared to other hotels

We really enjoyed our two nights here. The room was spacious and clean. The shower had great water pressure. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area

The lady kept my $150 deposit. And she told me that we shouldn’t have given this room because it was not a pet room! Not my fault. Their fault. They knew I had a dog because they asked for a deposit. She told me that it was the young lady’s fault because she is new. Not my fault and not my responsibility to train her. I recognize that my dog shouldn’t have peed on the floor and I agreed to pay for the cleaning. But we should have had a pet-room and they made a mistake. Therefore I asked for sharing the responsibility. I was ok to pay $75. She didn’t want to and kept my $150. It is not right at all. By the way, when I cleaned up my dog’s pee, my rag was black!!!!! Dirty carpet!!! Very bad experience with somebody who has no commercial skills!

Housekeeping service was down when we stayed there. The bed was ok but the pillows were very uncomfortable. Other than that the room was good.

Beautiful property, picturesque views, wonderful amenities and the staff were incredible. The pool was warm enough to get in even really early in the morning (at least if you’re a native Oregonian). This place was totally worth the 250 mile drive to get there

We really enjoyed our three night stay. We had a small mix up with our room when we got there but they made it right quickly. The pool was fun for the kids, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly.

Enjoyed the hot tub! Could not find anywhere in Shady Cove for breakfast but got on the road for our journey to Crater Lake NP.

I enjoyed the view of the river from our room and enjoyed listening to the water ripple. There were two outdoor chairs in the patio area outside the room. The room was a nice size which included a seating area and a small refrigerator. The only downside, the pillows were very uncomfortable, very hard. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and the close proximity to Crater Lake.

Excellent motel for the price. Paid $154 for the night and had more than most expensive hotels. Mini fridge, microwave, stove w/ pots and pans, cold AC, fireplace, coffee maker, French doors that both open to private balcony right on the Rogue river. Good Mexican restaurant right across the bridge.

We enjoyed our one night stay. Our room was right on the river and there were options for food right down the road in walking distance.

Pool and hot tub were great. Rooms are really right on the river, with a patio or balcony opening up to it.

Covenant, fishing nearby. Would like to see office open earlier than 7am would like to have some type of breakfast. Have stayed here on occasion, was told by check in staff they offer discounts for fisherman, have never been told that before and could have saved quite a bit of money.

Super clean room which was nicely decorated and had a bonus kitchenette. This room had a sitting area outside which overlooked the Rogue River. Pool, jacuzzi and wonderful staff. I’ll be back 👍

This is a quaint, family-run hotel on the Rogue River is Oregon. The room was rustic, but very clean. We loved that our room abutted the river out the back door of the room and there was area to walk our dogs. They also had a couple of dog stations with doggy bags and trash cans. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night, but would definitely return.

Can’t beat the view here. You’re right on the edge of the river. Very nice helpful staff. It’s a bit dated but clean and comfortable.

We were put in a pet room because we have a dog and charged an extra 10 per night pet fee. I am glad that we could bring our dog, but the room had a strong deorderizer smell and the beds were old and uncomfortable. I have been told before, when I complained, that the pet rooms were going to be remodeled. Honestly for the extra fee they should be.

The Edgewater Inn in Shady Cove, OR is clean, comfortable and well-kept. The only improvement I can suggest is streaming TV. The commercial-laden cable TV is a step back in time and has no "smart" functions to allow ad-free streaming using apps like Netflix or similar platforms.

This was a decent value for what we expect in an overnight stay. The only thing we missed was breakfast. We did appreciate coffee in the lobby in the morning.

Our room had a view of the Rogue River and a small patio where you could sit and listen to the water rippling by. Even saw a few fish jump. Very decent price.
