Club Wyndham Smoky Mountains

The one pool was tacky feeling and very cloudy one on the night we used it. There was also a lot of hair floating in the pool (maybe a better filtration system) other then that we were very pleased with pour stay. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The full kitchen was great for cooking a few meals with the family.

The cleanliness of the property was outstanding. The rooms were well-maintained, common areas were spotless, and it was clear that housekeeping takes pride in their work. The grounds were also beautifully kept, with landscaping and outdoor areas receiving consistent attention and care. My only real criticism is that there are not enough pools for a property of this size. Given the number of guests and the overall scale of the resort, additional pool space would help reduce crowding and improve the guest experience. One other thing prospective guests should be aware of is the vacation ownership/timeshare presentation. While staff members were courteous, there can be significant pressure to attend a presentation. If you're not interested, be prepared to politely but firmly decline. Overall, the Wyndham offers excellent service, clean accommodations, and a well-maintained property. Despite the limited pool availability and presentation sales efforts, I would still recommend it and would consider staying again in the future.

It was a great place! The kids loved the playground, pools, and splash pad. I loved not having to leave the resort or pay extra for the kids to have fun.

The suite was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the activities center very much, and every staff member we talked with was friendly and knowledgeable.

My family and I usually stay in a cabin but because of the high prices we chose to stay here. Wow we were very impressed. The condos were located close to everything, literally right across the way from Walmart, Tanger Outlets and the NASCAR Racetracks. The balcony was huge. The condo was huge. A lot of space for me my husband and two kids. The pools and hot tubs were wonderful and not too crowded. We were able to walk to the pool from our condo. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely do this again.

The only thing that I can say about this place was not knowing they were requiring a $250 deposit. If I known I would’ve bought a credit card just for that and I also took over three days to get that deposit back. Also, the porches are not made for total privacy.

We were pleased to realize the outdoor pool was open in April. Our teens loved the games room, mini putt and indoor/outdoor pools. Our room was pristine clean. We had the best stay.

Very nice, very large room. The size of a small apartment with a kitchen, a whirlpool tub, and two tv’s.

The property itself felt a bit dated in places. Nothing was broken or unpleasant, but it doesn’t have a particularly modern or updated feel. One thing future guests should definitely be aware of: during check-in, I was repeatedly encouraged to attend a “90-minute presentation.” Even after politely declining multiple times, the staff member continued to push and negotiate before finally backing off when I became more firm. I understand this is part of the business model, but the persistence felt uncomfortable and took away from the overall experience. A simple “no thanks” should be enough. Aside from that, the stay was perfectly fine. Just be prepared to firmly decline the sales pitch if you’re not interested. Me personally, I won't be staying here again, but there is nothing "wrong" with this place other than the aggressive sales pitches and dated aesthetic.

Peaceful environment

Room was great and staff very professional. Outside pool was open and hated in Feb and we all enjoyed.

The property is visibly dated and needs to be refreshed. The photos online are deceiving. The mini golf was fun but course is very small and old. Traveler beware - they will try to get you to sign up for a presentation because this is a "timeshare". The condos are a nice size and have been partially updated. Overall, the stay was okay. But I think there are better properties in the area.

Checkout. The express check was definitely not express! I came to checkout at 9:35 to ensure I was done my 10am. There was no one at the the desk. I went to get complimentary coffee and there was none, only tea (which I do not drink). Waited 20 minutes

Friendly staff, great location, and an absolutely beautiful two bedroom condo.

The staff was awesome. We stayed during a snowstorm and they checked on us often. They gave us updates about the roads and nearby restaurants.

We had a great stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, there were plenty of towels and supplies as well as a well stocked kitchen. We would definitely stay again!

The check-in process was a little confusing when I asked for a second room key and got bounced over to a lady wanting us to attend a time share presentation. Other than that, the service was very good. Check-in is the only place service efficiency needs fixed. After driving all day, we just wanted to get to the room we paid for not stand around for another 15 minutes hearing why we need to attend a sales presentation. If the sales pitch could be eliminated unless someone really wanted to participate, that would make the experience perfect. Otherwise, just let people check in and get their room keys.

Off the main road so a little easier to take the back road to get around. The small condo was very comfortable, clean and bed was just right. We were so busy sightseeing we didn’t have time to use any of the amenities of the place. Would go back again.

Was weird expedia booked me two seperate bookings so my keys quit working on day 3. Also asked for towels and didnt get any. Facilities are nice. I didn't realize there were two in Sevierville, so was a good ways from the convention center, but we liked it.

Perfect size units for our family trip to the area with 6 adults and 3 children (in 2 2-bedroom units). Very convenient to the sights we planned.

Great location for family gatherings. We hosted a wedding and were excited that we were so close to all the attractions and tourists venues.

The suite is a great choice for time with your aging parents. It gives them privacy but also comforts of home while on the go.

There was roaches in our room and my daughter couldn’t sleep because of that. We call to let them know and know one ever called us back. My daughter’s birthday was ruined because of that. She was very disappointed. And till now no one ever call us back to ask how we felt. Can never book them again

The resort was located near alot of attractions and dining options. Shopping is convenient. Suites are quiet and comfortable. Beds are comfortable. Parking can get crowded in the evening. Exersize room was well appointed. The outdoor pool is a little small for the size of the resort

Checkin was easy n staff were very accommodating after hotels.com called me the morning of my stay stating my room was unavailable and I would only be able to get a 1 bedroom instead of the 2 bedroom I had booked 4 mo. In advance. When I went to check in the front desk told me that was incorrect and they got me into the 2 bedroom. They were so helpful and told me next time to call them directly for clarification. I would definitely stay here again but unlikely to book through hotels.com.

A side from the sink drain stopper being stuck closed in the 2nd bathroom. Our stay was great! Our 2 bedroom condo provided enough space and comfort for our family. We will definitely stay at Wyndham again and we have recommended others to do so as well.

Staff were wonderful and rooms are kept very clean! Driveways are steep and sometimes confusing to get around property. Nice visit!

Great price for the stay. The apartment was much larger than i expected. The place was clean. The family loved it. No complaints.

Upon check in my guest was not allowed to enter the room without myself being there in person, as I was about 45 minutes behind in travelling. Even tho I had been contacted by Wyndham and asked to email guest information and vehicle descriptions. The room was below average especially for a "Resort" description. Could hear everything outside and from adjoining rooms. Shower wouldn't drain so had to stand in 4" of water. Parking was terrible. Overall the whole feel of the place was dirty, old and not inviting. I stay at alot of places and rarely write reviews, especially for below average places but this deserves to be known. Wyndham is not Marriot caliber and never will be.

The push to buy timeshares was annoying but that is part of the deal. Staff was friendly and always helpful. Location was very convenient for all we wanted to do. We would stay there again.

We spent two nights at this location. The staff was friendly and courteous. Property was in a great location. Near an outlet and different dinning venues but in a quiet area. I used the gym and it has the essentials for a workout area from home. Our suite was comfortable as a whole, but it does require some upgrades. My only complaints are the mattress and pillows (better quality is needed) and the fact that you can hear the people in the upper floor walk. This is a resort so expectations are higher. Overall a good stay.

The stay was very nice. The room could use a little updating, but overall it was good and clean.

Disappointed! Wyndham tried to downgrade our room from what we paid. Room had cleanliness issues. Sales staff were pushy.

Near the mountains and close to everything!

On the deltas side we had three issues. First, during our stay there was a persistent garbage smell outside of the building. It may have been a full dumpster or a nearby landfill but, it was unpleasant and fairly strong. Second, the indoor unit air handler froze during our stay and the air conditioner was not cycling on and off properly. Although we placed a maintenance call the operation of the HVAC system never improved. We were ultimately forced to turn the system off. Finally, we noticed many of the windows were frozen in place and could not be operated without extensive pushing. While they did work, many elderly and smaller visitors could have trouble operating them.

First of all, the customer service was extraordinary! ( hard to see that these days) The staff was helpful, kind, and very friendly. The room/suite that we stayed in was very clean, well equipped and area was quit and safe. Five people stayed with me and there was enough room for us all. I highly recommend them and would stay there again.

The layout of the rooms is exactly what I need when I bring my parents to the mountains. They are spacious and give us the feels of home while in a prime location for our activities. They stay in contact with you so that you know you are valued. We will continue to choose Club Wyndham Smoky Mountains when we come to this area.

We were assigned a room that management knew had a problem with the Air. It was freezing up and when we told staff about it, they said they would take care of it. they didn't we had to call back and someone came and said we had to leave because he had to turn the heat on, we went outside, he came out shortly, the air finally worked for a minute, then it did the same again. This happened the entire time we were there. We told the check out folks and they said they would take care of it, but they did nothing to ensure we might come back. I have always loved staying here. I am very disappointed.

Beautiful property with plenty of space

We really enjoyed our stay and wish we had more time. The pool hours are 6am-11p, so we still had plenty of time for family fun at the pool and hot tub after we did all our excursions around Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We had 2 bedrooms & baths, a kitchen, dinning area, family room, a patio with 6 people. There was plenty of room. There was a bed that needed fixed when we arrived, but someone should up about ten minutes after our call and we had no issues. I would highly recommend and would stay again.

We had a security problem after the first night as we found out that the sliding glass door was left unlocked by we assume housekeeping, we reported it to the manager, he said he would report it to house keeping manager. we didn't feel too comfortable for the rest of our stay. Also we requested a top floor when we booked 3 1/2 months ago, ended up with a walk-up floor, and the view was that of a side of another building and told they were full and could not change. Parking at building 18 is a nightmare overnight, had to park halfway down the hill towards and nearer the office than to the building, not cool when checking out of your room having to take your luggage that distance.

Before they will give you your room keys they try to strong arm you into a time share presentation that takes 2-3 hours. The room was spacious but they were not as clean as we would’ve expected. I had to clean the bathtubs before we could use them. We also saw/killed several roaches in the kitchen. There was no housekeeping either! Wouldn’t stay here again!

We have a great stay at Club Wyndham Smoky Mountain! It was so nice to have all that space after long days of hiking or spending the day at Dollywood with our kids. We made meals in the room which saved so much money. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, convenient and excellent staff

What that other information was-- after being chatted up for a bit, a hard press to get us to sit through a 90 sales pitch to buy into their time shares. Excuse me? No. The concierge was visibly irritated at my flat refusal to to that, but I was paying to stay there, and am never, Ever going to get tied up in a time share. But- scheduling you for one of those sales presentations is part of the concierge's job, and they apparently don't like taking No for an answer. That's the answer he got anyway. If you don't mind that, then this is an OK place. If you'd rather not deal with that at all (as I would not), choose another place to stay.

The photos on Expedia are inaccurate. I booked a one bedroom condo based on the photos provided. Upon checking into my room, I realized that this was not the room I had requested. They stated that they have two types of one bedroom condos and that unfortunately the websites do not show that. I thought I was getting a spacious newly renovated looking room but instead received a smaller room that looked as if it hadn’t been updated since opening. The front desk told me that this mix up happens a lot but they could not accommodate me because they were overbooked. This was disappointing, considering the room I received was too small for my family. I also had to wait over an hour for my room to be ready because it was “still being cleaned.” I was incredibly turned off of what they consider clean. The carpets were dirty and the bottom of my feet and my children’s feet were BLACK from the amount of dirt after walking around for just a few minutes. The shower drain was clogged and there was still hair on the wall from the previous guest. The mirror had not been cleaned either with spit and water marks. I understand that not all experiences are always going to exceed expectations but this trip was a major disappointment. I will not be going back.

Pushy for you to do timeshare.

This is the best place I’ve ever stayed at! If you have a big family this is the perfect place to stay! It’s very roomy where you’re not on top of each other. I absolutely loved it, you get what you pay for and this is very worth it

The only reason I could not give a 5/5 rating was the upstairs noise. To the credit of the staff they did inform the people upstairs and they did offer to move us to a higher room toward the end of our stay. The staff was polite. The rooms were clean. The space they offer in the two bedroom suite is perfect for kids. Just ask for a top unit right off

The service from Wyndham was some if not the best we have ever had. We had a few minor issues, not Wyndham's fault, but they took care of them quickly, professionally and always with a smile.

This was a little spending for me and my husband, however it was well worth it for the room size, facility options and views. Would absolutely stay here again. Also, thanks to the staff for making our an icy trip perfect!

We were thrilled with our stay and would definitely come back. The 2 bdrm condo was spacious, very clean and nicely decorated with all the comforts of home. The beds were very comfortable and the location was great. We enjoyed our view of the mountains from our balcony. Thank you for a memorable family getaway ❤

Wyndham is a nice place however we had service problems and a bed issue. the bed issue revealed that the mattress cover had urine stains. We were able to eventually gets a new mattress cover and sheets but it took several days.

Buyer beware. I booked a two bedroom condo for the weekend at Club Wyndham Smoky Mountains for President's Weekend - 3 of my teenagers - one coming in from college to meet us. We arrived at 4:30 for check-in, excited to be there, and from the outside - the place looked better than advertised. When I went to check-in, my reservation was not showing up. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly and kind, and after showing my reservation number and confirmation email, they informed me that they were overbooked and that Expedia had given them a number for me to call. 4 fours later, after a two hour call with a customer service rep that didn't understand that a microwave oven and a mini-fridge was not a full kitchen (already had a truck full of groceries for the weekend) and then when we got disconnected, he did not use the callback number that he asked for. We had to start the whole process over again. Because of the holiday weekend - all available units with a kitchen were sold out, and most hotels were full...and the ones that were not had extremely low customer reviews. We ended up staying at the closest comparable accommodation in Lenoir City - an hour west of where we were supposed to be in two hotel rooms rather than a condo with a kitchen. This ended up changing the entire weekend. NOT sure how, but I would confirm your reservation with the hotel rather than Expedia.

The staff at checkin was very friendly and accommodating. I needed a room with the ability to just walk in due to knee problems and she moved me out of my assigned room and found a nice walk in room in a quiet building. Unfortunately the TV in the living room was very dark and almost impossible to see the picture at times. I also thought the room could have used more trash receptacles. One little trash bin in the bathroom and another bigger trash bin in the washer dryer room near the front entrance that I carried out to sit in the kitchen since there was no trash can under any of the cupboards. The room was very spacious, clean and otherwise well stocked.

A number to call it was not their problem! Hotels.com was amazing but I will never recommend Club Wyndham to anyone!

Not a thing got my room that I wanted and was ready for me when I got there love this place we always stay here (why) because you can count one what you want you will get it just ask we have never had a problem getting what we wanted love this place thanks for all you have done in the last 5 years and we will be back next year
