I love this hotel stayed x3 and every time was a joy…clean, comfy bed, glass shower love it

Nice clean hotel, big rooms, large tv Incredibly close to the motorway meant if your room was at that side you had traffic noise till 1.30am that restarted at 5pm. Additional soundproofing would be an advantage.

The rooms were disgusting. Stains on the blinds. The throw rug I don’t think has ever been shampooed, just vacuumed. The floor was warped as well. There was NO MICROWAVE in the room and the fridge was extremely small. The pool was out of order. The carpets and covers for the furniture in the lobby were visibly soiled. Will not be staying here again.

The rooms have an interesting design. There are no doors besides the one to the hallway. I hate barn doors and that was the only style door which closed off the toilet from the rest of the room. The toilet area was an echoing tomb. There was only a partial partition between the beds and the bathroom. They had an immovable large standing mirror placed perfectly that gave full view of the shower and bathroom to anyone in or on the beds.

The Room was nice and clean. Very nice staff. The only complaint I would have is that the door to the bathroom wouldn’t stay closed would slide open. Other than that it was a pretty nice with a nice view of American Dream Mall

The hotel was modern and very clean. The location was perfect, so many places to eat within walking distance. I will be back.

I loved the bar area it was nice and clean especially after a long day of travel. This was a last minute booking and the staff was very nice and helpful. The check in process was very easy. The room had a great view and was very clean. Close to several amazing restaurants and stores. This is a great location if visiting the Expo Center.

Stayed obe bught after a flight. Suited the purpose well. Not as clean and well kept as other aloft hotels but was clean enough. Staff did not interact much with us when we left and were checking out other to flash a peace sign.

Absolutely awesome hotel! My view into NYC was spectacular, The World Trade Center was in clear view! The staff was incredible and the hotel was clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable. No complaints, I will only stay here when in NYC area.

Awful service from staff. Rude customer service. I called beforehand to ask if I could check in early in the morning and they said the earliest they could check me in was 7:30am. When I arrived there at 7:30am, they said I could not check in at that time with an awful attitude. Imagine driving 14 hours and you just want to get some rest. If the staff would have been honest on the phone I could have booked another place.

Great staff! Loved the free bottle water but should be a bottle per person. Bed was so comfy and loved that we could go to Buffalo Wild Wings once the hotel bar closed

Clean room, kinda staff, attentive room service. Definitely geared toward couples with the design. Open window shower that's pretty much impossible not to see people in. Keep that in mind.

The room cost was a bit outlandish. The facility was less than stellar. There was no microwave. There were no extra blankets or pillows. The shower was in the middle of the room. The bathroom was not clean. There was writing on the wall and handprints inside the bathroom. For $500 you would expect more. We were not made aware of any breakfast offering.

Hotel was very nice, clean and in a great location. However; the only thing that stood out was that it DID not have a microwave! As much as this room was a night, you would have thought it would have had a fridge!

The bathroom toilet wasn't unable to flush, we had to move to a different room. Where the sink wasn't draining the whole water after we finished washed our faces. Also, the hotel doesn't have a couch any rooms. They could do some renovation. But, beside that the room and the staff were very nice

1 - the shower area is NOT private! There is a small divider between the 2 queen beds and the bath area, but there is even a full mirror at the end of divider - if you were traveling with family or another couple (there are 2 beds), it would offer no privacy for showering. There is a door on the “water closet”, so at least the toilet is private 2 - there is not a dresser to store your clothes while you are there - very strange. I am a lifetime platinum with Marriott with hundreds of nights in stays - so I am a pretty experienced traveler and never found rooms with so little privacy. In addition, there were some issues with the bathroom sink and some electrical outlets did not work. I would not recommend this hotel due to the above. BTW - the staff seemed nice and also agreed that the lack of privacy is a bit strange.

Friendly staff, room was poorly cleaned, had stuff stuck to the floors and the shower looked like it had some mold spots on the tile. Bed was comfy and the fridge was nice. OK stay for the price overall.

However, if you’re looking for a place closer to NYC, this might not be the best option—the commute can get expensive with Uber or Lyft. You’ll likely need to catch a ride to the nearest train or bus station, which adds up quickly. Overall, though, I really loved this hotel and would recommend it for anyone not focused on commuting into the city!

The room/property was nice and clean. We arrived at around 9:30 am and they were unable to accommodate early check in even when we asked around 1:30pm. Receptionist only kept stating that check in was at 3:00 which we obviously already knew. Honestly would likely not stay at this property again.

We really liked our stay at aloft. Nice room view , very modern rooms , cleanliness , friendly staffs . Only one concern about the shower with glass , little bit privacy issue. Otherwise we loved our stay and would like to come back again !

There are many choices to eat and shop. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. However, the lobby bar never opened the entire weekend.

The front staff on the day of our arrival she was excellent, helpful. knowledgeable, informative, and friendly. we were not told that the pool was under construction, but we have the understanding that that was the job of Expedia to tell us I love the maintenance and everybody else was just super super helpful but also the front desk told me about the shuttle to go to the concert and how to get back and you know take a picture of the QR code and that saved me probably a couple hundred dollars or more so I’m really grateful for that.

Hotel was bright and inviting. My room was comfortable and clean. Lovely walk in a shower. Water pressure was mediocre but the water temp was perfection. Extra lighting in the bathroom for make up application along with a hand held steamer instead of a bulky screeching potentially burning iron. Conveniently located near Walmart and a variety of places to eat. Unfortunately no restaurant on site. Bus stop to Port Authority in NY was directly across the street. EXCELLENT STAY FOR THE PRICE!

Convenience of shuttle to concert, check in was great greeted by pleasant front desk. Bed was very comfortable, floor in front of shower had water damage and the outside traffic was very noisy. Cleaning crew was also very noisy and early.

The Hotel is near a highway, so it is extremely noisy. It was very difficult to fall asleep. The shower head was loose and it didnt stay in place. There is a ton of restaurants nearby within walking distance.

This place is so unique, very pet friendly loved our room. surrounded by places to eat and shop .we had a wonderful stay here!

Check in was quick and easy, the room was nice, the staff was wonderful at check in and check out. Several restaurants in walking distance as well as a Walmart and Sam’s Club. Ample parking as well. They were understaffed in the evening, so I had to go downstairs to get my own extra towels instead of someone bringing them up. Other than that, the stay was great. I’d stay there again!

There is quality control issue with this property. We were put in a room that apparently needs revocation. The floor looks like it’s been soaked in water that’s all peeled up. The gap between the door and floor was so wide that we could hear people talking and running from a distance. We believe a room like this shouldn’t be open for bookings. It was late and with 2 young children and one of the asleep, I can’t say I enjoyed the stay and I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend, it’s modern looking and the location is convenient that’s the bright side.

Lots of noise at night, especially on the first floor with the lounge being down the hall. Kids were running/playing in the halls till 11:30 at night and I had to finally ask them to go elsewhere. I was told by the front desk to bring it up at checkout and the response was that I should have asked to change rooms. Since I was here 6 nights for work and it was not an inexpensive stay, packing up at night and trying to move rooms was not an ideal solution. Especially when I had requested to be on the first floor. The room was clean enough but I would say that the stay wasn't worth what it cost.

It was a perfect hotel solution for the MetLife stadium.

Each time we entered the room we could smell the mildew. The floor outside of the shower was buckling from water damage. The walls are paper thin. We asked for our rooms to be next to each other, we were told they were going to be across from each other. Upon checking in we were told they were on different floors because the hotel was booked. The wrong keys were initially given for the wrong room. After asking about check out we were told 11a but after reviewing our paperwork and the signs on the door we saw it was 12p. Outside of that, the staff was very kind.

I didn’t like that there was no closet and only had four hangers. Not enough for a four night stay. In addition, it was only two drawers for clothes storage. The staff was the friendliest I’ve ever been to.

Splash pool is in maintenance. They have a policy of room cleaning every other day, but they missed my room on the day my room was supposed to be clean. The night manager claimed they were short staff, they can only leave a note to the cleaners tomorrow and can’t do much about it. We ended up carrying a stack of clean towels from front desk ourselves to our unclean room for another day. Shower gel also ran out on the night, because of the room wasn’t serviced. The front desk again can’t do much about they said but to offer a bar of hand soap for shower. And nope, not coming back to suffer from their poor customer. The hotel is a nice and newer facility but cheaply ran, the staffs appear to be innocent and helpless about the situation so shame to the management.

The bed was broken and uncomfortable, we stayed 3 nights and never got clean towels or housekeeping, I had to get my own towels. I will never stay at ALOFT again. Not worth the money!

The one of the elevator was out of service, my shower was broken. A few of the lights needed to be change the bubs were not working. My stay was ok

Nice property

Cons: the hotel looked new but the cleanliness May need further effort. I would easily spot dusts and hair on the floor even on our first night of stay. The laminated floor in bathroom also swelled coz the shower room sliding door couldn't really shut tight.

when I first arrived, I was trying to total of $528. They took that money and next thing you know I keep seeing declined charges of $200 when they already took the money out of my account. And it’s been a week since I’ve been there and they just took my check that I just got from my job so I would not recommend.

We stayed at the Aloft during spring break which was perfect distant from American Dream Mall. Staff was great, very friendly and really helped us plan our days, and gave us great recommendations on things to do while at AMerican Dream Mall. Hotel was great location with many options of dinning and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Very convenient location surrounded by lots of food options which was really nice. Two bus stops within walking distance that take you to Times Square. My only issue was that the hotel is right by the highway and it was very difficult to get a good night rest with the loud cars.

The pool is drained and not in service. We never were told that even when we checked in. The whole reason we got this hotel room was for the pool my 5 year old son was looking forward to. A heads up would have been appreciated

The one thing i was disappointed with was the fact that the pool wasn’t up and running which was one of the main reasons why I chose to stay here but other than that it was a great stay. I would definitely come back, I would just hope the pool is open next time.
