Reviews
The Edgewater Hotel offers a unique location on the water with beautiful views and a convenient walking distance to many attractions. The staff is consistently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. However, the hotel is often criticized for its high price, small rooms, and cleanliness issues.
- Unique location on the water with beautiful views
- Friendly and helpful staff
- High price for the quality offered
- Small rooms and cleanliness issues
- 5/5
Fantastic stay, beautiful and convenient location and everyone was so helpful, can’t wait to visit again!
- 5/5
Very beautiful hotel that is close to many attractions and restaurants.
- 4/5
Perfect location if doing a NCL cruise. We stayed one night before our sailing, walkable to the port area, valet will store your bags if you want to go explore before embarkation. Close to pike place market, took us 15 minutes to walk, great for the aquarium too. Lobby and main hotel spaces, very cosy, well themed and clean. Rooms weren't as expected, the photos made them appear newer and brighter. Fireplace in room was a hindrance more than appreciated due to the heat and pilot light staying on all night. Lovely bathroom. Would stay again
- 4/5
What an iconic hotel. Great staff, room 436 amazing. Loved the decor, booked restaurant well in advance however had to wait for our table… disappointing. Staff lovely, balcony furniture on our room a bit tired looking. Food in bar excellent and food in restaurant great. Position of the hotel perfect for Pike Place Market.
- 5/5
Exception young lady at the check-in desk! Nice rooms, very comfortable! $15 dollar taxi ride from train station! Would highly recommend!
- 3/5
We made a reservation for 2 adults and 3 children and booked a room that was supposed to accommodate a family. Paying more than $600 for one night. The room was only made up for 4 persons including only 4 towels. We brought it to the attention of the hotel and they never came to set up the sofa bed or bring additional towels. Also the toilet wasn’t working and it took 2 hours to have some one come. Nice property but lacking in service.
- 5/5
Vibe = 5 stars!
- 5/5
Beautiful
- 5/5
Staff were very helpful. Neat place to stay within walking distance of a lot of attractions.
- 5/5
Waterfront location. The record player & vinyl available for guests. Beds are comfortable. On site bar & restaurant are solid. We had a water deck room & were disappointed that we were given a room looking at the cruise ship terminal and a cruise ship (with attendant noises & blocked view). Hotel was booked so they could not accommodate our request to be moved to another room. Be mindful if you pay for one of these rooms to request a room at 322 or higher to avoid this issue.

comfortable stay in a beautiful place!
- 3/5
Check in was smooth, the room was on the ground level and bordered the parking lot. You could hear the cars driving by and I wish we were on the ocean side and not on ground level. The room needed to be vacuumed and I felt it wasn't that clean, the smell from the gas fireplace was strong and our clothes that stayed in the suitcases smelled of the gas after we left and opened them again on the cruise. The on site restaurant had extremely high prices and even breakfast was way over-priced. Location is good and right next to cruise terminal. Would I stay here again? probably not as the price for the room and any food was a lot.
- 5/5
Very clean, location stellar!
- 5/5
Edgewater is such a great hotel for a visit to seattle, friendly staff, great restaurant and bar and amazing views with walkable vicinity to
- 5/5
Thanks for a great stay.
- 5/5
Loved staying here! Staff was excellent. We loved the restaurant and bar tenders. Thank you for a great stay!
- 5/5
Loved our stay and can’t wait to return!
- 5/5
If you ever are looking for the PERFECT boutique hotel on the water in Seattle, you've got to go to the Edgewater Hotel! The staff is like none other that I've met at a hotel! So helpful to ensure you have an AMAZING stay! We arrived early and were able to check in, not the most desirable location, next to house keeping, and too long of walk for a family member due to health issue. THEY MADE IT RIGHT by upgrading us us at the next visit when we came back from our cruise! The entry attendants, Red, Elijah were so nice and helpful! Definitely will come back and recommend!
- 5/5
Love the Edgewater can’t wait to go back!
- 5/5
Great hotek
- 4/5
Loved its urban location. Great for walking to tourist locations and restaurants. Even for the ferry to Bainbridge Island. Loved the lobby on the edge of the water.
- 5/5
The process of checking in and checking out was seamless. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
One of our favorite places to stay!
- 5/5
The room was good for the night.
- 5/5
Rooms were big and nice touch with gas fireplace
- 5/5
Beautiful old style hotel, great location for water and downtown walking.
- 5/5
Loved the location! The staff was very helpful. We would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Super great hotel. The food and drinks were amazing and the staff was very helpful and kind.
- 5/5
Everything about this stay was exceptional! It’s so pretty and the location was perfect! The staff was amazing and very impressed with how they want to make sure you’re taken care of! Definitely would go back again!
- 5/5
Great service and friendly staff, beautiful location and with in walking distance to many attractions.
- 5/5
Excellent stay
- 5/5
The room was spacious for 2. No hot water option for making tea in room; just coffee pods. The gym was very unappealing due to no windows and musty smell. It would be nicer to exercise looking at the water view. Would go back for sure!
- 5/5
I booked this hotel for my boss. He’s stayed here many times while traveling on business. Always a 10/10!
- 4/5
I had an absolutely marvelous time. It was truly spectacular My Only Inconvenience was that they regularly did not Restock the coffee bar in the room. they had the mini fridge, stocked with their Refreshments for purchase leaving Minimal room for my Ability to be able Keep anything chilled.
- 5/5
The room was amazing as always. We stayed here last year. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The room was cleaned and ready for us shortly after
- 5/5
The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, it was very convenient, and the view/restaurant were excellent! All you can ask for.
- 5/5
The vibe of the entire property was fabulous. We ate at 6-7 Restaurant and had a drink in lobby bar, all wonderful experiences
- 5/5
From the time we checked in the staff was extremely helpful. The on site Restaurant & Lounge were amazing. I would recommend the Beef & Bouillbasse. Expensive, yes...but worth it.
- 5/5
Room was nice and cozy and the view of the ocean from the balcony...wow! There was a very pleasant scent throughout the property. Staff was very friendly and accommodating...even in the very early hrs of the morning. Definitely will have this place in mind if and when I return to Seattle!
- 5/5
Love this hotel! Staff was wonderful. Arrived VERY early, our room wasn't ready but were offered one that WAS ready- just a longer walk. Was so appreciative of this and the offered room was great!
- 5/5
Lovely stay, helpful staff, especially the bellman. Perfect location and the restaurant has a fabulous view!
- 3/5
Parking is $82 with tax and fees. Outrageous considering the cost of the rooms.
- 5/5
The location was great for the Clipper, and was an easy 40 minute walk to the ball park. Staff were helpful, hotel was clean, food was good. Not a lot of road noise, the train went by regularly but it wasnt bothersome. A cool iconic hotel.
- 4/5
Only drawback was the train noise as it passed throughout the night. Always get an ocean side room so you avoid the noise from the train.
- 5/5
Location!
- 4/5
Good solid hotel. Great area near everything.
- 5/5
Wonderful room and a great bartender Jaeger was awesome!!! The guest restroom was filthy when we dropped off the luggage around noon. We had to pick up our luggage it did not get moved to our room at other nice hotels have done. The view and location was superior. Enjoyed the food and drinks.
- 5/5
The best spot to stay before your Norwegian cruise hands down!!!
- 5/5
The staff here go above and beyond to help. Very accommodating and helpful. Every staff member we spoke with had a smile and very friendly.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the pillows were amazingly soft. The hotel provided us with 2 amazing robes. The gas fireplace made our room feel cozy and romantic. Our city view room was great! We were able to see the Space Needle building from our window. The 67 restaurant has a fantastic view. The food was delicious! Making reservations is a must! The coffee shop has very good coffee and Chai tea. The only downside is that it closes early. We had a wonderful time in Seattle! :)
- 3/5
There is a train that goes by all night long. Get ear plugs. Upgrade the room otherwise you’ll be in a tiny space. The larger rooms are lovely and worth it, but the tiny rooms are uncomfortable.
- 5/5
Outstanding Hotel! Attentive and kind staff. The hotel restaurant was excellent.
- 5/5
The place was fantastic but some of the front desk crew need to be more professional pluse i suggest to install a vendor machine for drinks and snakes:)
- 5/5
friendly staff, clean rooms and location was perfect.
- 4/5
A bit more dated than I thought it would be. Could use a sprucing up.
- 5/5
Great staff Great views Thoroughly enjoyed our stay Some more modern and more expensive hotels might have better facilities (pool, gym spa etc) but the location and charm of this place plus the great staff make Edgewater the best choice for a stay in Seattle.
- 5/5
So iconic
- 5/5
Love this hotel so much. I live in Seattle and sometimes stay here because it is so incredible
- 4/5
Pro tip: use your room phone to call valet parking as you are leaving your room. That way your call should be waiting for you when you get to the lobby. The only negatives I encountered during a recent stay: - It usually takes several calls to get someone to answer at the front desk or Six Seven restaurant. This happened whether I used my cell phone or the room phone. - The restaurant automatically adds a 20% tip to the bill, regardless of quality of service received. - Room service could use improvement. I waited 50 minutes for a breakfast sandwich to arrive (ETA was 20 minutes), and the server forgot my carafe of coffee. That arrived 15 minutes later, and the server just handed me the coffee mugs and carafe instead of handing it to me on a tray. Good news: he comped the food. - The hand-held shower attachment is difficult to use as the switch to direct the water to the hand-held is on top of the shower fixture. This means you have to be almost 6' tall to reach the switch.
- 5/5
What a great location. Part city, party waterfront...literally on the edge of the water and in the best of both worlds. Year after year, this place is the best.
- 4/5
Breakfast was fine, could use mor vegatarian options. Service was good. Loved the view. Overall a good experience.
- 5/5
yes
- 5/5
Very nice stay, the staff was excellent and bar bites and drinks were delicious! Would definitely stay there again.
- 3/5
The cleanliness was just not there. location is great!
- 5/5
Have been returning here for years (decade and a half+) and still delightful!! Location, views both City and Water sides, access to waterfront trails and much more. Thanks Team as always!!!
- 5/5
Great hospitality
- 5/5
Best hotel to stay at in Seattle! Highly recommend!
- 5/5
I had a city view room but ocean views were available great place to walk into Seattle for clubs
- 5/5
Panoramic views of Elliot Bay and the boardwalk.
- 5/5
Staff were amazing. Beautifully decorated for the holidays! Great experience!
- 4/5
Clean room but old and what we paid for was. Not worth it very expensive and had a crappy view.
- 5/5
Absolutely incredible stay! The Edgewater Hotel in Seattle exceeded all expectations. The room was cozy with stunning waterfront views, and the atmosphere was perfect for a romantic getaway. The location couldn’t be better—close to all major attractions, restaurants, and shops. Staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay seamless. Highly recommend for couples visiting Seattle! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- 4/5
We loved checking out the record player and albums from the coffee shop!
- 5/5
Everything was awesome 😎
- 5/5
Clean room!
- 4/5
Housekeeping needs to deliver items more quickly. Room service for food was great and the food was so good! Parking for guests needs to be free or refunded the parking garage fee!! I will be back in the future!
- 2/5
This place has really gone downhill. Unfortunately. It used to be a lovely hotel! Service was terrible, we had reservations at the restaurant, but since one of our party hadn’t arrived at the hotel, despite the fact that we were staying in the hotel, we weren’t allowed to have dinner. My mom had Alzheimer’s and was 90 and my sister had a brain tumor and we were there for a medical appointments in Seattle. It’s not like it was easy for us to pack up and go to another restaurant in town. Probably the worst experience ever. We ended up ordering fish and chips from the pier and having it delivered by Uber eats in order to be able to get anything to eat at that hotel. Then we had to go find utensils. Because their room service was clearly . We had to go get her own.
- 5/5
Very nice place to stay!
- 5/5
Loved this place
- 5/5
Great views and clean…
- 5/5
Everyone was so warm and helpful and the room was gorgeous! I can’t wait to come back.
- 5/5
We stayed in a cozy over water room on the third floor. We loved waking up to see across the sound. Very comfortable room. We’d highly recommend a stay here.
- 5/5
Best hotel ever sweet location and people
- 4/5
Great location
- 5/5
Beautiful place!! Gorgeous room and great restaurant!!
- 5/5
Great hotel, clean and friendly like Seattle use to be…
- 3/5
Seems like the Edgewater has lost its luster. It used to be a really vibrant hotel. Restaurant wasn't even open for breakfast due to staffing issues. How a hotel cant fill spots in a city like Seattle is beyond me. For the money i spent on a room it wasnt worth half of that
- 5/5
Best hotel experience have had. Gorgeous view, great room, phenomenal food and staff
- 5/5
Great room with spectacular views. The staff were amazing and very helpful.
- 5/5
Room was nice and very clean! Staff is very kind
- 3/5
Bag service to the rooms would be great but not offered and denied when asked beautiful views lots of city taxes
- 5/5
Brunch was amazing. The portions were huge. It was pricey but very good.
- 5/5
Great view and location! Thanks 🙏
- 4/5
Nice atmosphere
- 5/5
Clean rooms and hotel with friendly staff. Added bonus was all the holiday decor making the hotel feel extra cozy & festive!
- 5/5
Excellent hotel! Had the best experience will never forget how wonderful my vacation was there! Thank you!
- 4/5
The staff was great, all of them friendly!
- 5/5
Great location. Staff was very kind. Room was a little small but had a great view. Overall a great place to stay.
- 3/5
Shower was awkward with no way to adjust temperature without getting wet. Stone floor is cold. Temperature was easily controlled. Bed was very comfortable. Very expensive on New Year’s Eve.
- 5/5
Staff is amazing especially in the restaurant
- 5/5
Beautiful property with lots to explore at the waterfront. Excellent food service at the 67 and breakfast was amazing. Ali was our favorite wait staff but they all were friendly. Highly recommend
- 5/5
It was beautiful. And the vibes were immaculate
- 3/5
Based on our stay it is very clear to be that this space relies on the beautiful views and the physical space and the customer service is lacking and underwhelming. Upon check in we were told we could have a late check out and would not be an issue unless we wanted it extended in the morning which was not guaranteed due to availability. We found that fair and went on our way to our room. We proceeded to order room service only to find out there was an additional $44 dollar charge for the delivery. Truthfully, we would’ve ordered anyway, I’ve just never had a hotel not disclose the additional charges. We proceeded to make the most of our stay. The following morning before we left on our planned Seattle activities, we decided to stop by the front desk and double check if that late check out we asked for would also have any additional charges that we hadn’t been informed of. There, we were met with Ryan, the most unimpressed, unenthusiastic and frankly unwelcoming person of the entire experience. Ryan proceeded to tell us there was no late check out and late check out was at 12 (it was 11:45). When I Explained to them the gal the night before assured us we would, as we had activities planned , they pretty much shrugged their shoulders and gave us a “not my problem” attitude. We raced back to our room, packed up, and truthfully, hope that if we ever stay there again, never have someone as unfit for hospitality as Ryan.
- 1/5
New management to try sort. Rude rude rude
- 5/5
The customer service
- 5/5
When I arrived, I was upgrwaded to a water view room. The room was just perfect, clean and set up beautifully, with a fireplace in the corner. The staff, from front desk to
- 5/5
It was wonderul
- 5/5
Excellent stay
- 4/5
Hotel was beautiful, clean, great location. Check-in staff was not the friendliest or informative, just going through the motions. The Lobby offered holiday popup experience we found out about after the fact. Valet parking only available that runs expensive but not out of the norm for Seattle. Would stay again for the location alone.
- 5/5
very clean and comfortable room with an excellent view!
- 5/5
I didn’t get a chance to have breakfast. The $25 bread was only enough for coffee. I wish it was $25 more.
- 3/5
May stay there again but won’t eat there.
- 4/5
The overall stay is nice, location is ok. $65 for on site parking is a horrible fee, with only on street parking or a parking garage across the street and train tracks available. I could not access the parking garage due to multiple trains.
- 5/5
Incredible experience at the Edgewater.
- 5/5
Yes. Awesome.
- 5/5
Room was great, restaurant was delicious. Close to all the usual tourist things. A great stay!
- 5/5
wonderful room, lovely view, helpful staff
- 5/5
Incredible view
- 5/5
Room, staff atmosphere, coolness
- 5/5
Love love love the Edgewater!! Love the views the staff and food! We come here every year!
- 5/5
Beautiful rooms. Friendly staff. Gorgeous lobby. Very nice view over the water. Within walking distance to pikes market and the pier. Comfortable beds. Good restaurant and bar on site.
- 5/5
Beautiful views right on the water. Friendly staff. Efficient check-in. Delicious food and drinks. Comfortable lobby. Within walking distance to the pier and pikes market.
- 5/5
Room a king balcony! Excellent. Furnace is noisy though!
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful. My Mom and I visited the city and this hotel was central to everything. Room awesome with working fireplace. Bathroom beautiful. Needs more hooks though. Loved orur time there.
- 5/5
Yes it was
- 5/5
We loved it
- 5/5
Absolutely loved the friendly staff.....clean rooms.......restaurant and coffee shop on property.
- 4/5
Overall a very nice stay! Great location and views. $33 a night additional fees for “amenities”??? When we asked it was for tea/ coffee in your room ( we never used) WiFi, record and guitar use??? Never knew that was an option nor would I ever use it….just another upcharge for no reason… all advertisements for the location said taxes and fees included and free WiFi- parking for a fee ..
- 5/5
Great location and views from the over water king with balcony room are fantastic. Room was very clean and staff was very accommodating. Be aware the seagulls will wake you up at sunrise daily..lol
- 5/5
Clean room, nice view, convenient to downtown sites
- 5/5
The food waa great but valet waa exp
- 5/5
Spotless room, Ryan at the front desk was friendly and helpful, restaurant staff was too notch. Location is amazing.
- 1/5
I was sorely disappointed with the Edgewater customer service especially from the person behind the front desk named Nick! I called twice in advance to explain that it was my wedding night which is why I booked the Edgewater and I asked to have the hotel room decorated with flowers and for something special planned in terms of a non alcoholic drink. Nick said his computer was having issues and he would call back to discuss the details…no call back!! Nothing! The evening of the wedding when we arrived there was no greeting, nothing in the room in terms of flowers and a small note wishing us a happy wedding anniversary! Epic fail by a hotel with poor service! I would never recommend this hotel to anyone unfortunately! Certainly didn’t live up to even a minimal standard!
- 5/5
Very adorable place
- 5/5
I had a fantastic experience durning my stay. I have stayed at many hotels downtown Seattle and this is now at the top of my list. The room was spotless with beautiful views of the bay, comfortable bed, and I could walk to most everything we wanted to do on the trip. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Everything was great! I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this hotel!
- 5/5
Everything was good.
- 5/5
Simpl
- 5/5
food and room are 5 star
- 4/5
The room was nice except the shower dripped all day and night even after I checked to ensure it was turned off. Listening to that while trying to sleep was unpleasant.
- 5/5
Great location, good restaurant. Great service
- 4/5
Water side view. Plus fireplace was great . Staff was friendly ! Negatives, The was no slippers in the room , think that should be offered , plus no water was in our fridge or in the room upon arrival .
- 5/5
Loved everything about the hotel.
- 5/5
I loved my stay here! The service was very nice and friendly, and the location couldn’t be more perfect — right by the ocean. My room had a stunning oceanfront view, absolutely magnificent! I’ll definitely be coming back again.
- 4/5
It was very nice, rooms a little dated but nice.
- 5/5
Loved the lounge area overlooking the water. It was really nice!
- 5/5
Not cool
- 3/5
I felt that for a fancy place, it was not above and beyond. The room is so noisy from a train outside and you can hear people above and next to you. the bathroom is so cold from the stone so it made it hard to enjoy the shower. They provide the saddest 1ply toilet paper ever. Nothing spectacular as advertised.
- 5/5
All was well except for the fact that our room’s fireplace did not work. We were really looking forward to using it. Dave tried twice to fix it but we ended up telling him to forget it as our stay was coming to an end.
- 5/5
Room was a bit dated. Sleeper sofa missing back cushion.
- 5/5
Excellent location. Cool waterfront room.
- 5/5
Some of the hard surfaces were visibly worn. Not a big deal, just surprising.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel because of its charm and lovely staff.
- 5/5
Great place to hang out and be on the water
- 4/5
Everything was fantastic except for the fact the advertised fireplace in the room did not work. Location views everything else was great
- 5/5
Staff at Edgewater were amazing! They gave us a water view room and brought champagne to our room for a special birthday.
- 5/5
The hotel was such a nice surprise. We booked it strictly because it was next to the ferry that we were taking over to Victoria. We had no idea the history of the hotel and the good vibes that it had. If you are a music lover, you will love this hotel. Staff was great and the food was wonderful.
- 5/5
It was great!
- 4/5
Gorgeous view of the water and city! Room was beautifully decorated but there were some things that really needed replacing like a worn, loose toilet seat (Ugh!) and flaking white pleather desk chair that couldn’t be used. Beds were rock hard and pillows were flat, which you just don’t expect in this price range hotel. It was fairly convenient to walk to Pike Place Market and restaurants(15 min walk), but the Space Needle was a 15-20 min walk uphill so we drove. Fees for everything really added up to make an expensive stay even more expensive. Beautiful view but not really a comfortable stay! (Valets were excellent and fast though!)
- 5/5
Such a nice hotel. Staff is extremely professional. Balcony rooms are gorgeous.
- 4/5
The staff was awesome. They were courteous and friendly. The property itself needs an update
- 3/5
The stone bathroom floor was very hard on the feet!
- 5/5
Loved everything from check in to check out. All the staff was friendly and helpful- from the barkeep to the housekeeping staff. Gorgeous view from a hotel that smells amazing! And, the veggie omelette was fantastic!
- 5/5
The restaurant and bar were fantastic, and enjoying breakfast with the view of the water was truly special. We loved the relaxing and elegant vibe throughout the hotel. We highly recommend The Edgewater Hotel to anyone visiting Seattle. It truly exceeded our expectations and made our trip memorable.
- 5/5
The hotel was wonderful. I had booked two rooms as this was a family trip. However the room were not even on the same floor. One would think if a person books two rooms, months before the trip, those rooms would be in close proximity. However the place was amazing as always, food and drinks in the restaurant/ bar were great and service was top notch.
- 5/5
Plenty to do and all walking distance. Really enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Beautiful water views from this hotel and a good location!
- 5/5
The rooms were very clean. The staff was excellent.
- 5/5
The room was perfect
- 5/5
Great restaurant and views. Very easy Uber pick up. Never waited more than 2 minutes.
- 5/5
The Edgewater made our anniversary truly unforgettable. From the warm welcome to the thoughtful touches in our room, every detail felt personal and special. The waterfront views were breathtaking, the cozy fireplace was perfect for the evening, and dinner overlooking the bay was outstanding. Exceptional service and an experience we’ll always treasure—highly recommend!
- 5/5
The staff is so awesome! The food and coffee are amazing! My valet service was the bomb! This was a bucket list birthday present to myself and they checked all the boxes. Definitely a vacation destination and if you are going on a cruise, you can’t be any closer to cruise ships
- 5/5
Close to the cruiseport
- 5/5
This is hands down the best hotel in Seattle. Brandon (valet) and Carly are the best.
- 3/5
The restaurant and bar are worth a visit, with views out over the water and great service; and the coffee shop is very cute.
- 4/5
Great place that's near pier66 so if you have cruise you can easily walk from this hotel. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby walking distance.
- 2/5
Great location, but that’s where the greatness ends. The property is in need of a Refresh. The rooms are very outdated. The toilet in the bathroom was tiny and very old. The faucet for the vanity in the bathroom didn’t even reach the sink so there was water everywhere. The closet in the main room doesn’t have doors, but they used a shower curtain.
- 4/5
Nice place but is older. Very close to the pier if that is needed. Restaurant is good and nice atmosphere.
- 5/5
Excellent overall design. Perfect for pre/post cruise stays. Although expensive, the onsite restaurant was wonderful.
- 5/5
Stayed in a bay view room. Stunning! Brunch in the restaurant was excellent & restaurant service was excellent. Lobby has expansive views of the bay & a wonderful area to sit & take in the view. Would love to stay here again.
- 3/5
People above us were very noisy and heard stomping thru the night. Wanted coffee in morning and the keurig in the room only offered one regular coffee kpod, one sugar packet and no straws to stir. No common coffee pot in lobby, had to wait to buy coffee in the coffee shop once it opened.
- 5/5
Loved the gym
- 4/5
The staff was very accommodating, the rooms were comfortable and cozy, and the location was perfect for us.
- 4/5
Convenient location for cruise ship access! Walkable area, felt pretty safe overall. Great staff, facility is getting a little worn and ragged around the edges these days
- 4/5
Not much available (in the shops) in the way of food or drinks in the hotel lobby. The onsite restaurant is okay but not the best. Our fish dishes were pretty dry but the tuba tartare was perfect! Picture is from the shop in the lobby. The Beatles stayed here way back when!
- 4/5
Although the view was beautiful the majority of the time. We were unaware of the cruise ships docking directly outside our balcony every morning
- 5/5
We had a great time. The view over Elliott Bay was fantastic. The staff was incredible - especially after my grandson left his passport behind. We had it back in days. Very kind and enjoyable.
- 5/5
Great place to stay and so convenient. The view of the Bay is great.
- 5/5
It was a beautiful hotel with a great location. We really enjoyed the lounge
- 5/5
no
- 5/5
Close to pier
- 5/5
Very clean, excellent staff
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 5/5
The Edgewater hotel is next to the Norwegian Cruise Line terminal on the waterfront. It is a quirky hotel with a wonderful staff and delicious coffee in the gift/coffee shop.
- 5/5
The trip was wonderful the staff was amazing, especially Atli our front desk attendant! :)
- 5/5
Best hotel !!!
- 4/5
I was charged $99 extra for no reason , and staff told me it is an obligatory charge. One of the attendant yelled at me when a tour van came to pick me up because van should not be there , even I have seen taxi and tour vans around entrance all the time . 67 restaurant has a delicious food , and it is right on the water . Location was good to walk in downtown and space needle as well as walking on the shore next to the park without needing taxi .
- 5/5
Property and room was great. The only issue we had was that we couldn’t order room service one morning because they were understaffed and it took two calls to get a requested cleaning. But other then that the trip was great, the room was great, the views were spectacular, and the restaurant was world class.
- 3/5
Front desk staffs were not professional. We were not able to check in even past the check in time due to room not ready. Staffs were unsure when the room will be ready. Very poor customer service.
- 5/5
The Edgewater was a great place stay.
- 3/5
Small room. No bed side tables.
- 4/5
Great base for our trip, food was good service was excellent. The hotel is looking a little worn and otherwise a great stay
- 5/5
We love the Edgewater because of the pier view. However, the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Woke up with a sore back and neck.
- 5/5
The downside to this hotel were the beds, not very comfortable at all. By day 2 I was hurting and the AC was not great. The hotel was very dated with a small outdoor seating area in the restaurant. I wish they had more outdoor seating for the price you pay for drinks at the bar but they save that area for weddings. Overall the location was good.
- 5/5
Your valet service was excellent! Excellent staff
- 3/5
What I didn’t like, to the point that I was disgusted by even being here, was the check in experience. I didn’t receive any VIP upgrades as Expedia advertised. And the young man was cutting me off, answering my questions (questions he thought I was asking) before I could finish my sentence. It was awkward, unprofessional and his attitude gave this place a trashy fast food vibe. He must think customer service is the customers job. I still have no idea how to access the whopping $25 VIP food credit, where the restaurant is, what time breakfast is and a few other questions but I will figure it out. I just knew I had to get away from him before I started showing him bad customer service (lol) Overall thoughts are.. half a thousand dollars per night? Nah, next time stay further away at a hotel I like and uber.
- 4/5
Hotel was clean, staff were great. The patios and private balconies were not very clean, dirty and full of bird poop.
- 3/5
Located downtown on water, beautiful view
- 5/5
Great location for the cruises
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
top service on all fronts!
- 3/5
We paid top dollar for a balcony view. We asked to get the down pillows because we were highly allergic. The pillows never came until I called a third time. We were very tired and had to wait 1.5 hour for the pillows which came at me 11:30 late night. I would have expected stellar service for the price we paid for staying just one night. I would not recommend this place to others.
- 5/5
We stayed in a King Over the Water Balcony Suite and it was amazing. The property offers amazing views of Seattle and in a very convenient location. The staff was amazing and the restaurant was also amazing. Jager, our bartender the four days we were there made our experience even better.
- 5/5
Loved everything.
- 5/5
We only stayed one evening but wish we had longer. Beautiful room with a balcony right over the water. View was amazing. Stayed at the hotel for supper and ate at Six Seven Restaurant. Supper was delicious!
- 5/5
Best food I’ve ever had at a hotel. No wonder its won so many awards
- 5/5
It’s a lovely unique place
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. Easy to walk to Pikes market and got a car to the cruise terminal.
- 5/5
It is built over the water so it was fun to hear and see the boat activities going on outside of our window..
- 5/5
Amazing view
- 5/5
The only thing would be screens on the windows so people can enjoy the breeze without worrying about birds flying in. We loved the resort and will definitely be staying again
- 5/5
I would just change the bed. It squeaked every time one of us barely moved.
- 4/5
Air conditioning outdated
- 5/5
yes
- 4/5
I liked the history of the place. The room was clean but small. The hotel feels old. It is by the water but doesn’t feel like it. The staff were great. It was an interesting touch that they lent guitars to hotel guests for free. I thought it was pricey for what it offered.
- 5/5
We used this hotel because it is walkable to the NCL cruise port in Seattle. It was very nice and clean. We will definitely use this hotel again if we cruise or even visit the area again.
- 4/5
Great location and friendly staff. Restaurant was wonferful and had great views.
- 5/5
Great place
- 2/5
Will not stay here, bed was comfortable, but for the price it was a huge disappointment
- 5/5
Always enjoy staying here. Great location, water view rooms are great & the staff friendly & helpful. The breakfasts here are generous and very good.
- 5/5
Amazing property and great staff
- 5/5
Amazing location with rich history. Will be staying again for our next trip and potential cruise as it’s right next door!
- 3/5
Not the best quality for the price. Way too pricey.
- 5/5
This property is clean, beautiful and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful if needed. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect and amazing from the room with a water and city view, to the food at the restaurant, to the very helpful and friendly staff, and the relaxed but very nicely appointed atmosphere. We loved every minute of our stay, including the free use of bikes for enjoying the waterfront.
- 5/5
Liked the location & history
- 3/5
The facility is dated, but they try. Some of the rooms are just awful, the harbor view rooms far better. For sure, overpriced for the value you get.
- 5/5
Great location. Convenient parking
- 5/5
Perfect location--right on the water next to so many attractions, Pike Place, and great restaurants. We didn't even have to get an Uber or taxi to see great parts of the city, and were able to take a quick walk to our cruise ship after we checked out (the hotel is right next to the Norwegian dock). The hotel itself is so unique and amazing--a beautiful place that I'd love to stay at again. I loved everything but the size of the elevators (though the elevators are quite lovely and swanky otherwise).
- 5/5
Great hotel, views and staff. Close to the cruise ships, Pike Place Market and restaurants on the waterfront.
- 3/5
The price you pay on any reservation is not the total. In addition, you have a $33/day "resort fee" even though it's not a resort (no pool, spa, etc). For that fee you get to use their guitar and you get 2 hours on a bicycle. You can't use their parking lot to park your own car, there's an $81/night valet parking fee plus the valet gratuity. They charged me for 3 nights even though I parked for one night. But the bar, restaurant and patio are right on the water, very nice and great views. Unique property, built on a pier over the water.
- 3/5
I paid over eight hundred dollars for a room on the water with a view and mandatory valet parking. I got a room on a water with a view of a neighboring dock with stacks of palets, and the next morning a giant cruise ship right outside the window. The location is great, and the hotel has so much potential, but it is very, very tired in bad need of renovations and modernization. Extremely overpriced for what it actually is.
- 4/5
--- We had an excellent stay at the Edgewater Hotel and would highly recommend it. The location is fantastic—within walking distance of iconic Seattle spots like Pike Place Market, the Argosy Cruise dock, the Seattle Great Wheel, and the Space Needle. The setting is truly special, especially if you opt for a water view room. We were treated to a clear view of Mount Rainier during our stay, and one morning we even woke up to find a large cruise ship docked just next door at the Cruise Terminal—it made for an unforgettable scene. We had booked two rooms: one was missing a screen on the patio door and the other lacked patio chairs, plus we noticed some minor drainage issues in one of the toilets. That said, the hotel staff was very responsive and quickly addressed these concerns. Although we didn’t get the chance to try the on-site dining, the restaurant looked like a beautiful spot to enjoy a meal, with tables right over the water and both indoor and outdoor seating available if reserved in advance. One thing to keep in mind is that parking is valet-only and on the pricier side. Nearby lots aren’t ideal for multi-day stays, as they typically don’t allow multiple in-and-outs, so we opted for the hotel valet service. Despite these small drawbacks, the overall experience was outstanding and memorable. The Edgewater truly captures the charm of Seattle’s waterf
- 5/5
Krystal at check-in was very knowledgeable and thorough. She went over our booking information, told us about our perk, explained to us about the bar and restaurant, where we dined. She welcomed us immediately and gave us a room upgrade. We will definitely be back our next time in Seattle. We have stayed at other hotels as our son and daughter in law have a small apartment with 2 cats. She is an absolute gem!!
- 5/5
Love the property, love the people who work at this hotel. Great location, and beautiful water views.
- 3/5
Yes coffee brings my stars to 2 . Little plastic coffee pods in room ( 2 pods for 3 adults ) is laughable at this room rate.
- 5/5
It was amazing and had such a wonderful time. Room was perfect.....
- 5/5
The hotel is amazing the rooms are clean and quiet and the location is excellent just a mile away from everything
- 5/5
Nice lodge style rooms overlooking the water. Always enjoy our stays at this venu.
- 2/5
The hotel is old, musty smelling and way over priced. The beds were way too soft.
- 5/5
What an amazing experience we had at The Edgewater! The staff was so incredibly friendly. We ate at Six Seven and the food was phenomenal. We stayed there because it was convenient to the cruise port. We will DEFINITELY return!
- 5/5
So we hotel hopped on your visit to Seattle and Edgewater was by far our favorite. It was a great overnight stay with a view of the water. This will now be our go-to place to stay in Seattle.
- 5/5
The experience is awesome as is expected from such a water front operation. Excellence is there trade mark.
- 5/5
Loved being on the waterfront and having a view of the Puget Sound and Mt Rainier. Room was clean and had everything I needed.
- 5/5
We had a great stay on the waterfront and enjoyed having the fireplace in the room. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful giving us recommendations on local favorites. The meals in the restaurant were amazing from the quality of the food to the view to our server. Very tranquil historic stay.
- 4/5
No help with luggage on arrival.
- 5/5
On the Water, excellent views

Property
- 5/5
Lovely location, delightful staff.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel right on the water, lovely staff!
- 5/5
This hotel was exactly what we saw online - as pictured! Beautiful views of the harbor and Mt Rainer. Super close to all the places you want to go and close to cruise docs, ferries, etc. The hotel has been around awhile and has fun history about the Beatles staying there during their US tour. It certainly has been kept up nicely. The decor had a modern rustic feel that knocked it out of the park for us. The room was absolutely perfect. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and very large. We really enjoyed watching sunset and ships coming and going while sipping cocktails on the private balcony. The restaurant had delicious food and stunning views. The staff was wonderful and over the top helpful. The hotel is also walking distance to many restaurants and shopping opportunities. Great location. Wish we could have stayed longer.
- 3/5
Stayed here for a NCL cruise the next day. Location was perfect. Room had a fireplace that had a pilot light that put off more heat than the AC cooled. Than then that was a great place.
- 5/5
Loved the view and so much to do all walking distance
- 5/5
Loved this hotel with great access to the cruise terminal!
- 1/5
Room took over 4.5 hrs to get into it took the manager to get us in when he did. Room smells musty. Employee just walked into our room while we were in it saying he has to inventory the mini bar didn’t even knock on door first.
- 5/5
Loved the view. And the bed was so comfortable. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. They even allowed us to check in early. We would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
I liked that it was located on the water and within walking distance to alot of places. I did not like that we were charged everyday for amenities and the hotel did not have any amenities. It would have been nice to have a pool and or hot tub.
- 5/5
Beautiful view—will never forget the stay.
- 3/5
Washer did not work. Didn’t apologize or issue a credit
- 5/5
Brunch was amazing. The portions were huge. It was pricey but very good.
- 3/5
I was charged for "site amenity access" as an added on daily rate and told what I paid through travelocity was just to reserve the room. I am still awaiting a final reciept.
- 5/5
this was my first time staying here and I'll absolutely be back! I had a few payment issues that were completely my own fault and I was ready to be turned away or put in a cheaper room, both of which would have been understandable, but both of the staff members I talked to were incredibly understanding and willing to work with me around the issues so everything got worked out. the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the view was amazing.
- 5/5
Highly recommend this hotel. Every member of the staff was excellent at customer service. Cozy place and so many areas to just relax in. So accommodating.
- 4/5
If we had a beautiful view it would be different. Also no room service
- 5/5
Great staff wonderful room superb location
- 5/5
on view cleanliness super.restaurant
- 3/5
However, there were a few things that left me questioning the value for money. First, the hotel charges a $31 nightly resort fee, which seems a bit excessive given the lack of actual resort amenities. When I asked what the fee covered, I was told it was for coffee and tea in the room, gym access, and Wi-Fi—standard amenities you'd expect at any hotel. They also mentioned a record player and two-hour bike use, neither of which I found particularly appealing or worth the extra charge. Additionally, the first room we were assigned was quite dated and had a view of the train tracks, which wasn't ideal. Thankfully, they moved us to a waterside room, which was a definite improvement. Still, the overall hotel feels very outdated, and I would describe the experience as very average. In conclusion, while the staff and the fireplace were nice touches, the resort fee and dated facilities made this stay less than memorable. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're really into the retro feel and don't mind paying extra for basic amenities.
- 5/5
Great place to stay.
- 5/5
Amazing stay! Fantastic staff, rooms with amazing views, walkable to restaurants and shops, restaurant was top notch. Wonderful
- 5/5
Fabulous experience. Isaiah met us at the front door, welcomed us, took our bags and made checking in seamless. It was the same way checking out this am. Isaiah came and got our bags, called a cab, loaded the bags and set us off to the airport. Incredible service. The rest of the experience here was the same… the bartender was very friendly and gracious. The front desk team very efficient and professional. You will be in for a treat when you choose The Edgewater.
- 5/5
Amazing stay! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. It was so centrally located, yet we still felt secluded and peaceful. We booked an overwater balcony and it was a bit of a splurge for us, but so worth it!
- 4/5
Restaurant lead me to believe they were doing a Mother’s Day brunch but it was their regular menu so I had to shift gears to go somewhere else for a special brunch.
- 5/5
Amazing hotel, great views . Walking distance to many amenities such as the great wheel, pike place, aquarium, really nice place and great people
- 4/5
The property is a little dated and needs a makeover. The room was right by the cruise ship terminal and was extremely loud.
- 5/5
Wonderful room. Dark bathroom. Need better lighting
- 5/5
We came by ferry so the location was perfect. Unique hotel within walking distance of most of the places we wanted to see. Food was very good and the lobby overlooking the water is very special.
- 5/5
One of the only hotels I’ve ever stayed in where I didn’t want to leave the hotel. So cozy!
- 5/5
We found the property to be amazing. The views of Elliot Bay, evening sunsets and night lights from the waterfront area are so enjoyable. Very nice lounge and restaurant, great food. The most amazing staff from the valets, reception, room service and the lounge personnel. We appreciated the care and helpfulness of all the staff. Yes, the Edgewater has a great location and history, but the staff made our stay exceptional. Our sincere appreciation to all.
- 5/5
I wish they had vending machines.
- 5/5
The property was elegant, and had a very welcoming atmosphere.
- 3/5
The hotel was nice, but, there was no mention of a $65 per night parking charge until we arrived with the rental car. There wasn't even 10 cars parked there. Staff didn't want to give an invoice at checkout, but, be assured $481+ was on my credit card above and beyond the 1400 already paid for 3 nights. Not really happy about the outcome of the whole Edgewater Hotel Seattle experience.
- 5/5
We have only stayed in a balcony room over the water. Definitely pricey ( it's The Edgewater!!). But it's worth it. We were lucky enough to have absolutely perfect weather on our last visit. Warm with very little wind. Clear blue sky. We could have sat there for hours just watching the ferries and seals go by.
- 3/5
Very bad cleaning rooms 3 days no even clean, lobby very messy and stress
- 5/5
Great location and views! Nice staff and cool art inside. On the piers and near the sights. Historic hotel!
- 5/5
The room and view (on the street side) really was beautiful.
- 4/5
Beautiful view from the room. Bathroom only had a walk in shower with rock tile. Kind of cold. There's amenities in the room but you'll get charged for each thing if you eat or drink any of it. Tons of seagulls flying around. One almost ate out of my hand. I hadn't checked out of my room and the cleaning lady cleaned the room and took my stuff to the office. I was very upset and the manager made it more then right. Very happy with the service there. Went to their restaurant. Really spendy, not super impressed. They offer room service but like I said, it's really spendy with automatic gratuity, and a $5 fee.
- 5/5
This is one of my favorite hotels I ever stayed at. So cute everyone was nice. The only downside was o was too busy exploring Seattle that I didn’t spend enough time at the edgewater! Definitely will be back
- 4/5
My first night was not restful as we have to vacate the room at 11 the next day for a room w better water view. After several hours, we were given a much better room with over water balcony. The restaurant six seven has wonderful food. We also appreciated the in room service.
- 5/5
Edgewater is in a prime position on the water
- 3/5
Location is perfect for sailing from pier 66 but with fees and taxes it is grossly overpriced.
- 5/5
Amazing! A dream come true!
- 5/5
Most excelent!
- 5/5
Loved the property but a little dated
- 4/5
Room was beautiful. View was fantastic. But lots of construction around the area. Room was too hot.
- 5/5
close to cruise port
- 5/5
Very nice customer service, hotel close to shops and restaurants
- 1/5
Upon checking out we spoke with the manager who pleaded ignorance to all that occurred the previous night. We were comped for our first night but in reality the stay was ruined.
- 5/5
Amazing view!!! Really nice hotel. They skipped room servicing which was not that important to us, but if it is you may want another hotel.
- 3/5
Pet friendly staff. Did not provide housekeeping service the next day. This is the second time in a row. Cruise ship unloading and loading all day long on Saturday and Sunday attacked too many people and congestion.
- 5/5
There is an iconesq vibe about this historic hotel. The property offers an opportunity for guests to experience a unique location. To stay over the water, with the amazing views offered makes the stay worth it alone. The rock-n-roll history, and the trendy interior of the property drives that point home too. You won’t regret staying here.
- 5/5
Loved everything about this place.
- 5/5
Loved the vibe! So clean and comfy. Wish we were there longer.
- 5/5
Excellent service, advance text to confirm planned arrival time, the room was ready an hour before normal 4pm check in. Old structure, updated with safety features but clearly maintains its roots in rock n roll. Only negative, room snacks & beverages would be overpriced at half the cost.
- 5/5
This is one of our favorite hotels to stay at. Make sure you get a room overlooking the water, it’s absolutely amazing and very beautiful. We ate at six seven every day we stayed, so the staff became familiar with my son, daughter and I and were very friendly and welcoming every single time. We asked about a microwave and they brought a whole one to our room. The beds are very small, which really bugged me, but everything else made up for that. My son left his 2 favorite stuffed animals behind, (we paid about $50 to ship them back) but they took good care of them and sent them back to us and my son is forever grateful. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.
- 5/5
A beautiful resort with kind staff.
- 5/5
We will be back to this location for many reasons. From the magnificent views via our suite balcony to the top-notch staff throughout the location, this is a top rated hotel well worth the money !!!
- 4/5
First room smelled like cigarettes. Staff was very kind and moved me to a new room.
- 3/5
The rooms are outdated. Bathrooms tile aweful and suited for outdoor patio. Carpets seemed dated, so are the furniture in the reception area. Overpriced property compared to the interior. Will not recommend.
- 5/5
Loved it all around.
- 4/5
Convenient location to Pike Place Market. Great hotel for night before beginning a cruise.
- 5/5
Great location on the water.
- 5/5
liked that it was on water and walking distance from all the popular places.
- 5/5
We stayed here for a wedding at Bell Harbor conference center. It was the perfect location because it was just a five minute walk to the wedding venue. The hotel itself is nice with a beautiful view of the ocean. We would definitely stay here again.
- 1/5
Mold in the gym, not a truly upgraded gym at all. Room was dirty, balcony was dirty. Limited bellman service. Very old hotel, scents were awful.
- 5/5
Beautiful stay. Great location.
- 5/5
Great stay at the Edgewater. Beautiful views and great food at the restaurant. Comfy and good for a visit to Seattle.
- 5/5
One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in for service and comfort, with beautiful views and an excellent restaurant
- 5/5
Room very small
- 5/5
Beautiful scenery but charge you for everything you touch lol. Great food and the staff was excellent. Overall great experience.
- 5/5
Amazing stay. Great staff and very comforting atmosphere. Super cozy room. Will definitely recommend to everyone!!!
- 5/5
Lovely waterfront location
- 5/5
View, graciousness, decor, food, staff
- 5/5
Wanted a view of the water… and no complaints at all. Perfect location for our overnight stay to take
- 5/5
The hotel is very cozy. It is located just a few minutes walk to my workplace.
- 4/5
Asked for a wake-up call on three days even though notified staff that I did not get calls, I only got a call on last day. Comfortable room and being a short person, I appreciated a shower I could adjust.
- 5/5
An excellent way to spend our 45th anniversary weekend! Everyone was upbeat and helpful. The food was delicious. A great experience. Thank you!
- 5/5
Thank you
- 5/5
Very Comfortable Hotel with a great staff located near many attractions.
- 4/5
Could feed seagulls right from your window or balcony!!
- 5/5
Wonderful place with wonderful staff!
- 5/5
Great place to stay and excellent location! Did not disappoint!
- 5/5
Uber service is within minutes Pikes brewery had excellent food
- 5/5
Loved the guitar rental! What a unique and fun idea!
- 5/5
We were there to celebrate my wife's birthday and she said she had an amazing time. Restaurant host was awesome, we enjoyed our time with him. He came over to our table and greeted us personally during our dinner. Six Seven was the best.
- 2/5
We checked in, dropped off the bags, and went to use the room's bathroom. Nothing had been unpacked. There was a dirty, red tinted q-tip in the middle of the floor and a dirty toothpaste cap under the toilet. The towel i opened for my shower had black smudge finger prints in the center of it. The q-tip sat there, but moved around, for 2 days until my husband picked it up. Absolutely disgusting. I would never stay here again. And none of the staff asked about our stay.
- 3/5
Edgewater is a Seattle staple, their claim to fame is location and that the Beatles stayed there ones a long time ago. Lobby area and the on site restaurant are generally really nice and we've visited often just because, when not staying there. Hotel itself is just OK, though depending on what room you get the view can be nice, overlooking the water. Price is over the top high and they don't mind getting a few extra bucks just because. Parking is vale only, $80, or look for limited street options. There is construction in the area and that's not great. Bottled water in the room is $7 (we were told by front desk and offered to use a refill station IF we had our own bottles). Having stayed at nice hotels pretty often, at the last two we were given stainless bottles to use. Not a huge deal, but annoying when the room is already $400 . Will still come for drinks, but won't stay here again. Lots of better options in the area.
- 4/5
The location is wonderful for walking downtown and along the waterfront. The rooms are very comfortable, and having a view across the water is spectacular.
- 4/5
It was ok.
- 5/5
Brilliant area inside for working with a great coffee shop. Staff kind and helpful from front desk, to bar and room cleaning.
- 3/5
So many extra fees! Parking is extra on top of room stay, as well as a mandatory "resort" fee. Definitely did not feel like the quality of the room was worth the cost. Room was similar to a Best Western with Four Seasons pricing.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay so much here! Will definitely be back
- 5/5
I stayed for 2 days for a ufc fight. Everything was amazing better than expected, cutest hotel I’ve been too. I would definitely recommend to others! Close to pike market place and other attractions! :)
- 3/5
Noisy and dirty. If I could add pictures, I would show the state of the expensive room when I arrived. Someone’s socks and trash were left on the floor.
- 5/5
The hotel was quirky as others stated but also really lovely. We upgraded to a suite for more space and it made a huge difference. We loved how easy it was to walk to so many areas of interest. We did not like the very expensive price for on site parking.
- 5/5
Smells amazing too! I kept asking what it was and people told me they put it through the air system and they are trying to make a candle with the scent. Dang! I hope they do!
- 3/5
2. There was no slippers. 3. The pillows did not smell fresh and made me question if they have been washed. 4. I was not informed when we booked that there is a $65 parking charge. 5. The filter on the water refill station did not seem to be new. The water had a bad taste.
- 5/5
Favorite Seattle waterfront hotel with friendly, well trained personnel and excellent restaurant and bar.
- 5/5
The Edgewater is unique, particularly if you stay on the water side of the hotel, where your room looks directly out on Puget Sound. The hotel is on a dock, so the balconies of the rooms are directly over the water. A memorable and classy experience.
- 1/5
Spend over $500 on king balcony room for our anniversary, was kept up all night from very loud non stop clunking on the roof sounding like the heater kicking on and off or something. Kids screaming in the room next to us from 3am on. We left at 6am just to get home to sleep. Every Disappointed as we’ve been wanting to stay here for a long time but sadly we will never recommend or return.
- 5/5
Absolutely spectacular!! Customer service is impeccable!
- 5/5
Beautiful views of the water.
- 5/5
This property is a gem
- 5/5
Cute and cozy
- 5/5
Such a great place to stay! I will definitely be back!
- 5/5
Best dinner ever in the restaurant on the water. Room on the water is comfortable and feels like home. The view is amazing from the water we can see SW Seattle including the Ferris Wheel, the islands across from Seattle, and the snowy mountain range in the NW distance. Stepping outside the hotel, there's a fantastic waterfront park with public art and views of the Space Needle, waterfront Pier shops and pubs both N and S, a small community garden directly East 2 blocks, the Seattle Aquarium and much more all within walking distance. If you really like walking further, the Space Needle is within walking distance as well as much of the city. Residents are out walking their dogs and jogging, trains are coming and going across the street. The atmosphere is very clean and safe both in and out around the surrounding area of the hotel. We would definitely stay here next time we visit Seattle.

Small and cramp. Bathroom with strong urine odor when we first stepped in. Mattress is soft and saggy.

Resort Fee. I paid in full, then check into hotel and they hit me with 30.00 a day resort fee. I asked what exactly this gets me. Nobody could answer. It's an obvious cash grab. Store in lobby was closed when I checked in at 7pm on a Saturday night.

We have a favorite room that allows close observance of cruise ships as they come and go. It adds a little spice to the balcony view, which includes a view of downtown, sunsets, and Mt. Rainier. Room service on the balcony with friends and my Bose speakers results in an outstanding prep session before hitting the town! The Six Seven restaurant is outstanding and reserved our party of four a fantastic waterside table with sunset views. Pricey but the splurge is worth it every time.

The room was subpar for the cost and noisy on the ¿city view¿ side.

Needs a full revamp - rooms and lobby are dated and tired - not worth the $500 usd per night

location of hotel was great for our cruise embarkation. the room and view were OK the "booking" stated the room would sleep 4 guests. That was an understatement. With "Doublebeds", you really can only sleep 2 adults....possibly with 2 SMALL children. Bathroom did not have an exhaust fan - after showers, the bathroom ceiling and walls were 'sweating'. For the price I paid, I feel the room should have been better.
