Reviews
The King's Inn is praised for its excellent location, with many attractions within walking distance, and free parking. The staff is generally described as friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is frequently criticized for being outdated, with some rooms having maintenance issues.
- Excellent location with many attractions within walking distance
- Free parking
- Outdated rooms and facilities
- Maintenance issues in some rooms
- 5/5
Staff was really helpful I probably talked to 4 different people each as helpful as the previous one. It was quick check in had a great choice in room and was so nicely located too a lot of stuff. Most importantly it was close to the 1 line from the airport
- 5/5
nice hotel but really small room, great parking
- 4/5
Place was perfect walking distance for all the downtown attractions. Clean hotel. Friendly staff. If i return to Seattle i plan on staying there again
- 2/5
This should be a WAAAY cheaper hotel room - it was not anything that I would expect from a Wyndham property. The best part was Top Hat Donut next door. They had fabulous coffee and donuts.
- 4/5
Cheap and simple, but great location. Spent one night before our cruise there, and because of the location had a great opportunity to see the city highlights in one day.
- 1/5
I am so frustrated and frankly, mad about my stay at The Dylan. I tried for two days to call them ahead of my stay, no answer at the front desk. Upon check in, there was no hand soap, no shampoo, no plug for the tub, no outlet in the bathroom. Called the front desk from the phone in the room three times, no answer. Went to the office, and was offered an extension cord for the bathroom. Went to shower, and there is a vent in the shower with exposed wiring. No available do not disturb sign and housekeeping tried to enter my at 8 AM without knocking and completely unclothed. I will be in touch with Expedia about a refund.
- 3/5
It is a motel, not a hotel. Pictures did not match. Elevator was not working. Bathroom was not updated. Window didn't lock. BUT location is perfect, place was clean, price was great, we got late check out for free, breakfast had some fruit and we had what we needed.
- 3/5
Not what I expected!
- 4/5

- 1/5
Parking is bad
- 2/5
Location proximity to downtown and cruise port Run down and dated with broken screen, loose sink stop, broken AC grill
- 3/5
AC was operating properly bed was really bad cover was ripped bathroom very small toilet cover was not tightened very old building I will not recommend!!
- 3/5
Staff is super friendly and very helpful. The location of this hotel is great and the neighborhood that it’s in is nice. Room and property was clean. Check in and out are easy. The hotel is on the older side, with water hammer happening when the sink is used. There were no outlets in the bathroom so hair styling is a challenge. There was no full length mirror in my bathroom, which probably doesn’t matter to everybody. The ac was very loud and rattled, drowning out the sound of the television. There was no WiFi access in my room, my device said that I was too far away from the router.
- 3/5
For a hotel so close to Pikes Market and a lot of other downtown Seattle’s hot spots, it was a great price. Knowing this, I didn’t expect much for the money. The hotel was an older building, small rooms, and nothing in the way of luxurious amenities. However, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to help with an extension cord for 2 CPAPs, getting us in a first floor room, and a couple other needs we had. Front desk clerk was so friendly, there was hot coffee, fresh fruit, danish for breakfast, and free parking The hotel had everything a person needed for a stay in Seattle.
- 2/5
NOT AS ADVERTISED! The pictures in the posting looked NOTHING like the room we got. The bed was basically a pull out couch with a mattress on it. Super uncomfortable and noisy. The shower was old and beat down. The sink stand was literally painted plywood and 2x4’s with tile around it. Poor pain jobs, wall patching and everything else around the room. The only benefit to it was that it was in downtown. If this isn’t the only goal of yours, look to book somewhere else, especially for the price….
- 2/5
Parking was terrible. I dont think it’s possible in a car without bottoming out at the bottom of the steep ramp. No plug ins in the bathroom.
- 1/5
They asked my card for 100 dollars and then later charged 100 dollars plus 299 dollars for no reason.
- 2/5
It was a great location and the free parking was good but had a steep entrance and had to drag our luggage up and down that entry because the elevator wasn't working and looked like it hadn't been for awhile. BUT no outlets in the bathroom and only one outlet in bedroom. TV remote didn't work, door to the outside was not hung correctly and light came through. VERY small room tucked into the back of the hotel down a narrow little hallway and looked nothing like the picture you showed (had crummy little wooden nightstands). .There was a small window facing the alley with LOUD garbage pickup both mornings at 5 am. At arrival had to go to the front desk because only 1/8 inch of toilet paper on the roll and no other paper available. The desk clerk had to search for more tp and gave us one roll. Paid $363 for 2 nights for a room that was not up to par,.
- 1/5
Very disappointed. Room very outdated and dirty. Shampoo bottles are empty. Tiny chocolate bun for breakfast. Dry and no hot food.
- 4/5
The staffs were very friendly.
- 1/5
The room was also extremely small and nothing like what was expected or advertised. Paying customers should not have to walk into a dirty, foul-smelling room in these conditions. It felt unhygienic and unacceptable. I wasted my time and money coming here and would never stay at this hotel again. Management seriously needs to improve cleanliness and basic standards because this experience was unacceptable.
- 1/5
Bathroom sink water knobs squeezed. Bed frame was broken. Shower pressure did not work could not adjust the water without it changing on its own. Do not recommend!!!
- 3.5/5
The room was remodeled poorly, flooring was bumpy, no electrical outlet in the bathroom. Still had painting protection on a light fixture and smoke alarm and painting was not well done. The couch was not very comfortable to sit on. A 2 star motel max.
- 5/5
The grounds are locked at night, keeping out anyone that isn't a guest. Laid back hotel in easy walking distance of many restaurants, coffee shops, and about a 15 minute walk to Pikes Place. Second time staying here and will stay again
- 4/5
The free breakfast was just a few pastries and some coffee. The TV & internet was down when we stayed and we were told, "Oh, yeah, we've been having trouble with the internet, someone is coming out tomorrow to look at it." The price is very good. Would I stay here again? Possibly, but not more than one, maybe, two nights.
- 4/5
Clean room and bathroom. A/C a little noise but the main issue for me was the blinds. The room was too bright because of the light entering the room. Perfect location. I'll consider staying there more times for short stay.
- 4/5
This was a cool spot. You can tell this place has some history and has a 50s vibe. The room was clean and well stocked with A/C, coffee maker, hot water kettle, mini fridge. Furniture was okay and updated. Bathroom was renovated but tub was old. Staff was great and people were working at all times, grounds, house keeping, front desk, etc… I didn’t have a vehicle but there was a parking and an under ground parking area. Super close to everything with a short walk to Pikes market and the pier and water front.
- 3/5
The window shade in the room was incredibly thin. Our room was by the stairwell which had bright lights for safety. So much light came through the shade that it was difficult to sleep. The bed was comfortable, but housekeeping was lacking. Two of the bathroom amenities were empty and there was a previous guest's discarded trash under the bed. It was in a good location, convenient to Westlake station for the Lite Link amd Monorail.
- 1/5
Room looked nothing like the pictures! Staff were rude! Smelled horrible! Trash in stair area
- 1/5
Worst hotel experience ever
- 5/5
The hotel is downtown and close to all amenities, awesome location and will definitely be back
- 4.5/5
The location was great with lots of restaurants and transport close by.
- 1/5
The parking was free. The desk person was pleasant. Those are only good things I can say about this place.
- 1/5
Don’t park in garage below. They have their washers stacked in way of exit which is impossible to access
- 5/5
Clean room, staff was friendly and accommodating for late check out, air conditioning was working. Didn't use parking.
- 2/5
Fine for a bed for the night, but quality was poor overall. I felt that the bedding was not hygienic as it was made up of a flat sheet, duvet WITHOUT duvet cover and throw. It was difficult to get to sleep with so much light pouring into the room from outside at night and lots of noise from gates shutting, car doors and other guests walking past my window.
- 0.5/5
The hotel was overpriced for it being less what you would get at a motel 6. I’ve never felt more catfished by a hotel
- 3/5
Worst wifi
- 3/5
Clean as it can be. Very run down rooms though, and the mattresses need replaced badly.
- 5/5
The rooms are a little small, but overall it’s a good place to stay.
- 5/5
Great location to stay. A 5 min walk from pikes market. No gym so couldn’t work out but the property was insanely clean and comfortable. Parking was great too!
- 3/5
Clean rooms and good location. TV did not work at all. Breakfast was an orange.
- 1/5
The room was booked and paid for but when we arrived (at 10 pm the night before our cruise ship sailed ) the attendant insisted we had to leave a $250 deposit. He said we would get it back the next day before we left. The next morning we were informed it would be back on our card in 3-5 business days. We are now back from our 7 day cruise. It has been 6 business days and no money.
- 5/5
Great location to walk to Pike Place, space needle, public transit, and a lot of great local eats all within a 20 minute walking radius. One thing that was disappointing from the hotel is that the blinds do not fully cover the window to the outside so I never felt fully comfortable and always had to change in the bathroom.
- 1/5
Was going to stay a few nights but after they collected $100 deposit for each room. The rooms were terrible. Mine was right next to street with rail pass goi g by. Also bench outside my window with two guys talking. VERY NOISY. So far. No deposit return and nothing credited back for only spending one night
- 2/5
this is a motel with a chainlink fence surrounding it. noise is really bad throughout the evening. The pictures do not reflect the actual condition of the property.
- 4/5
We were told we would have to pay for parking but we didn’t have to. We were told there was no breakfast but there was… a grab n go breakfast of fruit, granola bars and bottled water. There was also free coffee in the lobby. We stayed in a fairly spacious “suite” so a separate bedroom plus a sitting room with sofa bed, TV and the “kitchen” type items.( would be big enough for a Pack n Play if traveling with small kids, and some space to play ) Room had a fridge and microwave, coffee maker with pretty good coffee, and a good sized electric kettle. Bed decently comfortable. Air conditioner and heater worked. Hot water and good pressure. The place is not new but it worked well for us and price was reasonable. Only about a 1km walk from Pier 57 with the Great Wheel, Seattle Aquarium and other attractions. We walked there and back in the evening and the following day. Hotel offered daytime underground parking after checkout for a fee.
- 4/5
Overall, it was a good experience. Everything was local, within walking distance. The only downside was the AC wasn’t working properly nor the TV.
- 2/5
Cons: we checked in late and slept in day one, woke up with no hot water. The shower head is very low, even for my 5’4” wife but that can be overlooked. There was either a black suv or black car with someone constantly sitting in it, all hours of the day and night, the vehicles were always on. They sat right outside our room, so it was sort of odd, There is a crack between the wall and shade, so someone outside could see you changing. We had the tv on, the channel just went out and never came back on; the only channels were antenna channels only. That’s really fine, but just so you know what you’re getting into. We asked for fresh towels and they didn’t get delivered, I walked to the desk to get them. No hairdryer, was told, “it’s not in there?” Told us they would try to find one, never got it. The grab and go breakfast was bananas and oranges, that is grab and go and the coffee was almost clear. As I said, we didn’t use it except to sleep, but just be mindful of what you are paying for.
- 3/5
Very loud, can hear the monorail go by constantly and can also hear whenever someone next door flushed the toilet as well as the tv from the other room as well.
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
Was unique room in that bedroom was separate and as such was colder then main room, but electric baseboard heater, something I have not experienced in a hotel before, took a little of the chill away.
- 2.5/5
There were drug needles in the bushes out front.
- 5/5
We will be back the next time.. very close and walking distance to pike market and space needle. Clean and safe area
- 1/5
The fridge didn’t work at all and the toilet or bathtub would leak and there wasn’t even any hand soap. I also had some clothing out and room service stole my clothing.
- 3/5
Not really any breakfast besides granola bars. Our bed was dirty and had coffee stains (I hope) and then when we first checked in they gave us a room that still had people in there so we got a new room. Parking was nice but difficult to get too.
- 5/5
Thanks everything was perfectly.
- 2/5
It’s a motel, thin walls , ok clean
- 1/5
Way too noisy because of the train tracks.
- 1/5
Room was tidy but floors were filthy was a random pill on ground my toddler almost got hold of. Had to fix their cable connection. Curtains don’t fit windows water pressure was like a 90 year olds bladder. Tub had no way to plug so could bath the kid. Room is super small. Locations is cool though and get what you pay for I guess
- 1/5
Dirtiest hotel I’ve ever been inside. $200 per night. Instantly called and got a refund due to the area and cleanliness
- 3/5
As always it is a plus to be offered free parking in Downtown Seattle
- 4/5
Nice motor lodge , clean rooms , nice location
- 0.5/5
Everything! Even the power went out in our room
- 3/5
If you want a budget hotel in the middle of downtown it's a good price, but you'll only get the bare minimum.
- 3/5
Good
- 3/5
It was all right. Nothing to write home about.
- 0.5/5
An old washcloth was left in shower. Maid can to clean the room but left the washcloth there for my second night stay. Poor cleanliness score
- 5/5
This place has good location The beds are comfortable with no bedbugs. The staff respectful and their places nearby.
- 2/5
Should be cheaper for what it is. An old motel acquired by a large hotel group slowly renovating it. However upgrading rooms doesn’t leave an excuse for it to be dirty. My room was full of pubic hair and nail clippings. Only pro is it’s in a great area.
- 5/5
Rooms had bad sound isolation, could hear the cars in the streets and people in the rooms next to us
- 0.5/5
I was not made aware of 100. 00 deposit that I found out ar check in.I have voter 30 years in hospitality industry and cannot believe that Wyndham owns and operates this property. The property is not being represented like traditional Wydham way.
- 4/5
.
- 4/5
Hotel nice and clean, good for a weekend and closed to the Fish market. Thanks.
- 1/5
It’s very overrated. The rating they give it is very wrong. The score they advertise is misleading. It should be around 4.0 so people know what they’re actually paying for. It shouldn’t be advertised as a hotel, but as a motel.”
- 4/5
Watch out when you flip the light switch, it turns off the outlets that control the space heater if you plug it into that outlet.
- 1/5
There were restaurants nearby but they were really expensive given the location which is forgivable the hotel breakfast could be better from granola bars banana's and water bottle more variety would be nice the atmosphere that i was sleeping in was rather loud with a bunch of police sirens people honking their horns making for an unpleasant experience then i go to check out early because i decide i want to go back to my hometown of Indiana and as i'm checking out i'm getting a fraud alert saying that my card is being charged when it shouldn't be i would understand this if i was checking out late but i wasn't i was checking out a whole night early which i would think would be doing a good thing i'm just going to say this is the worst hotel experience i ever had and honestly i would love my money back if all possible not just for the charge on the "early checkout" but for the cost of the room as well
- 4/5
Free parking, centrally downtown located, friendly staff
- 4/5
Clean room, staff, & parking
- 4/5
Staff courteous. Room clean, with less distraction.
- 1/5
Absolutely horrible
- 3/5
The location was wonderful, and the room was nice for the price.
- 3/5
Its pretty old hotel but short trip stay is fine
- 4/5
Yes
- 3/5
Room was OK. Place had too much staff moving about from 7am to 2pm which was bothersome. Toilet handle broke, and my bedroomr blinds malfunctioned. Free parking was nice. Bed was comfortable and shower was hot.
- 3/5
Bed was decent, but it was freezing cold in the room and so another blanket would have been appreciated. I got in later in the day and there was only two very small parking spots open, which luckily I was able to fit into. It was frustrating that there wasn't more parking available though. The staff was nice and helpful though.
- 5/5
Great location for Climate Pledge Arena events
- 4/5
Staff was excellent and accommodating. Room was clean. Room had a few (non-cleanliness) issues. Blinds did not fully cover window, so passersby could see into the room. Coffee maker was broken. Half the TV channels did not work until the final night.
- 1/5
After pulling into the garage I decided to book a different hotel as I was concerned about safety as well as cleanliness.
- 3/5
Solo traveler- no frills, but for the price and location, it fit my needs just fine. Room is small. The built-in a/c-heater unit did not work, but there was a portable heater provided that worked fine. FYI, no microwave in room. TV had limited channels that did not include local or sports stations. Light sleepers should bring earplugs since there is a lot of street noise. I'm unaware of the parking situation since I did not have a car. Westlake light rail station was a 5-10 minute walk. Free Wifi was a bit spotty at times.
- 5/5
clean room and friendly staff
- 5/5

- 3/5

- 4.5/5
Superb
- 5/5
All of the above
- 3/5
Our heater did not work. The room was very old, exposed wires, parking garage was hard to navigate in and out of. Parking above ground was very limited.
- 4/5
Cramped parking only drawback
- 5/5
Was a great stay. My son and I went to the Seahawks game. Dylan was very close to everything we needed. The room was clean and the front staff very helpful with the requests we made. I will definitely be staying there for future Seattle trips.
- 3.5/5
Location Lift was not working , didn’t provide the wifi password along with other the key . Had to ask again later
- 0.5/5
They attempted to make unauthorized charges on my card after checking out of $100 and $37 , then only refunded me $63.82 of my $100 deposit paid upon checking in. That deposit I tapped the card machine myself & signed nothing, how did they get my card info
- 5/5
Staff was really helpful and pleasant.
- 5/5
Brekfast was pretty good. Location great . Staff was pretty friendly
- 5/5
Clean room and friendly staff
- 4/5
Even though it is little outdated I believe it was a good and cheap place to stay.
- 2/5
I have stayed at this hotel before. It was never the top of the line hotel, but it was good., and I never had any issues. They have even upgraded me to a suite the last two times i've stayed, which I am grateful for as I am there helping a family member with a cancer treatment. However my stay last night was extremely disappointing. From the lack of cleanliness of the room, to the lack of power outlets that I needed to plug in my stuff for work. I couldn't even dry my hair in front of one of the mirrors in the bedroom or bathroom. The only outlet I had was by the front door so I sat in front of the front door to dry my hair. That is also where I've plugged in my phone to charge it. There were lamps that had outlet, but they didn't seem to work well. There was a greenish yellow substance on my bedroom wall, which I took a picture of. It literally looked like somebody wiped their snot. The curtain blinds we're two long at the top and it would hit the front door one I would try to open it. I was worried it was going to break, and I get blamed. I used the room to clean up, eat dinner, and get some work done before my electronics needed to be charged properly. And then I left the room extremely early in the morning because I just couldn't take it. I am disappointed because I like this place. I would love to use it again for future stays as I am in seattle often. But last night might have ruined that for me.
- 1/5
No toilet paper, bed was old and very uncomfortable. There were drunk homeless people in the parking lot. No hot water and very dirty room
- 2/5
Rooms not big as advertised . Doesn’t have couch. As it did advertised .
- 1/5
The room was below average no ameneties no glasses to drink water, no bathroom stuff, we also ask maid service next day and still they did it. even bed was not comfortable if I could get refund I would cancelled reservation onspot
- 1/5
Was charged to much for the one night.
- 2.5/5
Passable
- 5/5
Great room and clean
- 4/5
The room was rather small but clean and the room and washroom seemed to have been remodelled recently.
- 4/5
Clean room, helpful staff.
- 1/5
These guys are thieves. They stole my deposit and charged extra on my card. I am in the process of disputing the charge. Business practices such as these will certainly be bad for business and will probably cause them to fail. I will be reporting them to several authorities. Buyer beware.
- 2.5/5
Location, large room Quality of bed/room
- 2/5
The bed was good . They updated a few things in the room we were in . It's loud, really loud and right in the courtyard, right outside of the window. The staff doesn't know how to rebook a room so we had to pay another deposit when adding a night. It's a to go breakfast,a banana and a package dessert with a water.
- 5/5

This is very cheap and a central location. No real breakfast but snacks. My remote didn’t work and no one fixed it even though I asked.

- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff and great location!
- 5/5
The underground parking, room was clean, service was nice to go breakfast bags, was able to hear some street level traffic through the window, sirens and such, good water pressure and legit hot water.
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Awesome staff
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful!
- 3/5
Staff were amazing. But the parking people need to start looking before ticketing. Parking is free but make sure you put the tag close to the windshield!
- 3/5
They said id be charged a “$100 hold” on my card but took out one $100 payment and one $70 payment. Then i only got the $70 back.
- 5/5
It was a good stay. Loved the area it’s in
- 5/5
We have stayed here twice and love it!
- 5/5
Staff are humble and professional. met expectations, my personal vehicle is safe. The bathroom, bed, and floor are super clean. Highly recommend the hotel in the area.
- 4/5
The room was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The free parking is a hige perk and the location is perfect.
- 5/5
Pour un cour séjour dans cette ville, c’était vraiment très bien et sécuritaire. L’accueil était chaleureux.
- 2/5
Room was damaged and staff did not move.
- 5/5
Clean stay and cool staff. Very close to a lot of landmarks
- 5/5
Perfect!
- 1/5
No hot water We are in November 50 * No service Breakfast included (water , croissants, orange coffee , in the white bag 🤔🤔 Bad hotel ……..
- 4/5
Tidy and good location. Friendly staff and has parking!
- 3/5
Was great for the price. Good location with free parking.
- 3/5
Room was clean enough but reminded me of a gross apartment where the landlord gets the cheapest help to turn it around. Bad paint, no trim. Weird caulk around AC im window. Giant hole in the base of the wall no one bothered to drywall. I guess for the price in downtown maybe what youd expect?
- 1/5
Would not recommend this hotel at all absolutely worst hotel I have ever stayed at mold water damage left over hair cigarette burn marks in the walls and on the floor sink is built from two by fours literal two by fours got very sick staying here
- 3/5
The layout is tight and there's literally no extra outlets. I had to unplug something to plug things in. Wi-Fi was a struggle as mentioned in most other reviews. The front desk people did literally the bare minimum. I understand they locked the gates at night which is a super plus, but it would be nice to convey to people how they're supposed to get in if they come in after 11:00. As for the unit, the washroom was terrible. If you're a woman that like plans too, get ready in any comfortable sense of the word. Be prepared to have things resting on the toilet etc. Beds are extremely uncomfortable. I'm glad I only stayed two nights. On the positives, great location felt very secure. Super walkable to get everywhere. Might stay here again because of the location If I was coming for QuikTrip but overall I would be looking for somewhere different if I wanted any sort of comforts. Oh, and their vending machine could really use a refresh like nobody wants 25 G of rittz sandwiches for 2$.
- 3/5
This is literally a place to sleep and shower-nothing more! It is incredibly loud outside. The bedroom was backed against an alley that trucks and vehicles came through constantly. I booked this hotel because of it being in the perfect walkable location to everything I planned on doing in Seattle. It was worth it for that reason alone because I didn’t spend too much time in the room. As someone who had never been to Seattle, something to make note of at this location: there will be loooooots of homeless people and people doing/on drugs.
- 5/5
The staff was quick and easy check in
- 5/5
Excellent location, would definitely stay there again. Bed need’s a little bit of improvement.
- 5/5
One hiccup: I arrived during a “No Kings” protest happening right outside the hotel, which delayed my check-in. That said, once inside, everything went smoothly. For the price, it’s a solid option right in the middle of the action.
- 4/5
Hotel was spotless. Very walkable around Seattle. It’s more of a Motel type set up than hotel.
- 5/5
Lots of nearby shops, and close to convention
- 2/5
This hotel is close to Pike Place and the Space Needle. It just needs better care.
- 5/5
Awesome staff, I was so nervous about traveling alone out of state for the first time and they assured me it was a safe area and gave good recommendations
- 5/5
Close to everything and easy access to transportation
- 3/5
The room was nice but small. The location is prime for sightseeing though and the breakfast is given in bags which is nice.
- 4/5
Vintage 50s motel with fresh paint and new bedding etc. They are trying hard to make this work but its going to need a total gutting for the long term vs this light refresh. Elevator is broken (to be repaired) so no ADA access upstairs and limited on ground floor. Room was very noisy - hard to sleep plus a yayhoo honking their car horn to be let into the garage at 3am. So all in all a great orice for a centrally located room to take a shower in OR pass out after a late night bender.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean room, and awesome proximity to a lot
- 4/5
I appreciated the 24 hour coffee and water provided. However, the grab and go breakfast for a person who was staying for a whole week, variety would have been nice. It was the same thing for all the days I was there.
- 5/5
Awesome location, right in the heart of downtown. Tons of convenient restaurants, walkable distance to Pike Place market, Space needle, Climate Pledge Arena, etc. Free parking, cozy clean room, friendly staff for a great price. We’ll stay here again!
- 5/5
Very comfortable bed with the best pillows
- 4/5
In walking distance to the water front and Pike's Place. The room was fine. There was a group loudly grilling outside our room when we arrived.

This is basically a motel. It looks like a few things, like the beds, have been upgraded over the years, but other things, like the general property, especially bathrooms and the front desk, are real shabby. It can get pretty loud, especially in the mornings. If you just need a cheap place to sleep for the night, this is it. If you're looking for a nice hotel, this is not it at all.
- 3/5
Loved the location for being able to walk to attractions and if needed the train and monorail station was a few minutes walk. The rooms were smaller then expected and the property was noisy with other people walking around outside the door and rooms next to ours.
- 4/5
Everything was fine, except we were not told about the grab n go breakfast or WiFi info when we checked in.
- 5/5
The room was clean and quiet and had everything I needed. They held my bag after I checked out and made it quick and easy to pick it up. The grab bag breakfast was simple and filled wet things that I could take with me about town and on my hikes.

Place is a dump. Very surprised Wyndham would include it in their portfolio

It's a motel in downtown Seattle. It's clean and conveniently located but don't expect anything more than a clean bed to sleep on.
- 3/5
No microwave in the room. Tv remote doesn’t work. Staff didn’t seem to care. Not overly friendly.
- 4/5
Staff were not helpful in the lobby. They seemed to be put out when we’d ask a question. We’d swap our own towels and put the garbage cans outside our door to be emptied. I spent a week there to see Seattle. Conveniently located. Fresh coffee, bottle of water, and bananas for a grab and go breakfast.
- 5/5
Clean and Free parking was better than expected.
- 4/5
Ok for the $
- 5/5
I really appreciated that when I needed a hair dryer the staff was able to locate and provide one.
- 5/5
Meticulously, clean rooms and very friendly staff! The surrounding area is not great at night, but the property itself is enclosed, and I felt very safe. The check-in and checkout process was very easy as well. Great distance from all of the nearby attractions.
- 4/5
Room was pretty clean. Staff was nice but a lot didn’t speak English. Those who spoke English were helpful.

Property totally not equipped to be rented. Spent almost $1K for three nights for a half furnished accommodation. No hangars in the closet and none available at the front desk. No coffee table by sofa. Only one night table in bedroom. Iron sits on the floor. No safe for valuables. Only 1 paper cup for two people. Naked walls, save nails and hooks with nothing on them. No hooks on bathroom door to hang clothes. Falsely advertised breakfast. What you get is a bag on a table with banana, water, a packaged pastry, and maybe a tiny energy bar. Not enough for all customers. When the few bags run out, that’s it. Does Expedia check the property you are so eager to advertise? This is a rip off.
- 4/5
Great value. Room basic but comfortable. Free hot drinks all day. Good location for city and public transport. Very noisy.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay. At night street can be a little noisy. The front office staff needs to be more professional. I got a “whatever “ feel from some. Not unfriendly but somewhat absent. Location is great. Restaurants, shops all around.
- 2/5
Super tiny, very not private and frankly unclean rooms. Surly staff, only granola bars for breakfast, cramped, hard to maneuver parking area (i drive a small car) and after i left i got $168 in random charges on my card. Tried to call them but the number listed with hotels.com was disconnected. Am disputing charges via my card company now. The location is good but it is not worth it!
- 4/5
Maneuvering through the parking was less than optimal, but it worked.
- 2/5
This is not where you want to stay. It’s old, dumpy, no elevator and the rooms are tiny even by European hotel room standards. They say they are modernizing but this place needs more than an upgrade. I’d like to say something good about it but there’s nothing good about this place except for the coffee shop next door.
- 3/5
Clean, walkable to the Public Market. It was formerly King’s Inn but obviously taken over by Wyndham. It’s good for a night, max 2 night stay I would say. Not really for family as room is small. Apart from the fee your paying for your stay, you will be asked for a deposit which they say will be given back to your payment method in 2-3 days but mine has not happened yet. Phone number on their website is missing a number so it’s hard to contact them. There is no way to message the ‘hotel’. Overall it’s ok but would likely stay in another place next time. Our Uber drivers had a hard time finding the place.
- 3/5
Blanket has many holes from guest who smoked.
- 3/5
Great location
- 4/5
Was a good room for the price walkable to most things
- 4/5
Small hotel. Nothing special but it gave us a safe place to lay our heads before our cruise. It is centrally located near just about everything so walking wasn’t hard to do. Just seems expensive for one night but I’m sure it’s the location
- 1/5
The location was convenient for me, the staff was nice. But my room was not appealing. Just look tired and uninviting, the lighting wasn't very good, I wish I had picked a different hotel.
- 5/5
Very good for the price and location. Clean and the rooms are well taken care of it.
- 4/5
Liked that it was close to the monorail. Disappointed that it didn’t have a microwave.
- 2/5
Very noisy and out of date. Bed was very uncomfortable and overall terrible experience. Would not recommend.
- 5/5
In such a busy city, it was so quiet. The location was perfect for my trip. A short walk to an event, a 10-12 minute walk to the space needle, and same distance to Public Market. The outlet in the bathroom didn’t work and the ac didn’t reach the bedroom well, but would stay here again.
- 5/5
I was surprised that this is a motel, not a hotel. It was clean but old.
- 4/5
Staff accomodating. Room pretty sparse.
- 2/5
Walking distance to restaurants and pier. They have no working elevator, no blow dryer. Had to go down to office to get extra pillow because no one answered phone. The staff was polite and ordered a shuttle for us to the port.
- 1/5
This is not what we expected from a Wyndham brand hotel, it felt like a cheap no brand motel. The TV worked, but had no channels. I called the office, but nobody picked up. Walked over to the office, but no one as there. I Finally gave up after 25 minutes. I asked about the TV the next day, they told me that they currently had no connections for the TVs in any of the rooms. Breakfast was a joke. A breakfast bar, an orange, and coffee, no place to sit down. The room looked like it has been recently painted, but it was done poorly. The toilet seat was new, but they had not fastened it down, I had to fasten it myself. All in all a really bad experience.
- 2/5
Old fashion. Need improvement. Uncomfortable bed. Old bathrooms
- 4/5
A little run down. Toilet seat was loose. Ok for a one night stay.
- 2/5
Had to walk up 2 flights of stairs with heavy bag, if you have luggage best to ask for lower floor room. No fridge in room but coffee in the lobby
- 3/5
An ok place. It was the cheapest I could find to wait for my cruise the next day. Basically an apartment. YouTube showed it as housing for those who had no place to stay few years ago. Unhoused guy screaming from across the street. Nice donut shop 2 doors down. Motel was within walking distance of many things. I went to the movies while waiting for my room. When I got back my room (after 3pm) was still not ready so they allowed me to stay in a room on the 3rd floor walk up. I dragged my large suitcase up the stair. The bedroom, living room and bathroom was a decent size but the tv was in the living room. I Slept on the couch in the living room with the couch pushed up to the door.
- 1/5
Couldn't find my reservation, no snack machine. No screens on windows. No nothi
- 3/5
Possibly I didn't do enough research, but this hotel is really a motor lodge/motel and not a hotel. I didn't expect to enter my room directly from the parking lot, and the room itself was tiny. Area was very loud but it helped to turn on the air conditioning to serve as white noise. Overall, the stay was fine. Clean, cheaper than surrounding places to stay, and the location was wonderful. But, as I said earlier, not what I expected. And breakfast was not really breakfast. It was fruit, granola bars, water/coffee and pre-packaged pastry.
- 1/5
This place was just horrible. Expensive for an old outdated room with cheap fixes and solutions. The blinds look "trendy" but offer almost no privacy and you get full sunlight by 6am. Can not sleep with how useless the blinds are
- 3/5
Fine if youre looking to stay in Seattle for cheap
- 4/5
Would stay here again! This property is nothing fancy however has everything you need a place to stay for a few nights. My friend and I stayed for two nights and were satisfied with all features and were very impressed by the size of the fridge in the room!
- 4/5
Don't let other negative reviews scare you away. Just go into this knowing that you're getting what you pay for. It's a motel in the middle of the city, 15 minutes walk to Pike Place Market and also 15 minutes to the Space Needle. Being a motel, it won't be the cleanest, but it's not like they don't clean at all. I had fresh sheets every day I was there. It will be a little loud at night, sure, as there's only three floors and the windows are kind of thin. But its never crazy loud, the worst thing you'll hear is police sirens. The area isn't too bad at all either. They lock up the lot at night, so you have to get buzzed in by the attendant. Would I bring children here? Probably not. But if it's just my friends and I, it's a bed a and a shower at a very affordable price, nearby everything you could want to do in downtown Seattle, PPM, Space Needle, Bars.. This place is a good value for what you're paying.
- 3/5
It was a cute place, crowded, and i had no cable for the entirety of my stay, no microwave, no fridge, just a bed, desk & broken tv.
- 4/5
The hotel is being remodeled but still decent. Staff is very friendly

Service at counter was incredible

False advertisement!!! Do not stay here

In a great location for a quick trip to Seattle
- 4/5
Free parking was a plus. Walking distance from space needle, waterfront, pike place market etc.

You can walk to all landmark places from the hotel in less than 20 minutes. Best area in the downtown
- 3/5
The hotel was ok but needs a facelift, especially for the price that was charged.

I appreciated the free parking. The room, bedding, and towels were very clean.

Property is conveniently located to tourist attractions walking distance. The Property is very outdated, needs remodeling ASAP!

Rude. Unhelpful.
- 1/5
I stayed here to stick on a budget, but in hindsight I wish I would have stayed somewhere else so I could actually get sleep. The A/C unit made a huge noise every time it kicked on. There are no electrical outlets in the bathroom, and no hairdryer in the room at all. The "full breakfast" included as in the listing was a basket of bananas, oranges, and granola bars. The desk staff upon check in seemed flustered over my request for a hairdryer. Overall, skip this place. Very disappointing. I'm surprised Wyndham even attaches its name to this property.
- 5/5
Bed very comfortable and room was very clean and staff really helpful
- 4/5
It was old but affordable. Located near interesting places and public transportation.
- 4/5
I had a great room on the end where I could watch the tram go back and forth and watch people walk by. When the window was closed it was quiet. The motel is obviously older as it's a motel but my room was clean and updated. I thought it was advertised with a microwave and fridge (that would have made it even better) but looking back I don't see that. I was too lazy to go look for the ice machine but I had a bucket and cups in my room so I assume there was one. That's probably my biggest negative because being somewhere for three or four days, and walking everywhere you want to have cold drinks but it wasn't a deal breaker and I survived without one. The motel was very close to downtown, water edge and Seattle center. Plenty of food, coffee, shops near to kill a little time. Only had to interact with staff briefly but they solved my problem promptly. They even had duo playing music on Saturday night that I couldn't hear if the window was closed but could hear when my window was open, absolutely loved that. Next time im in Seattle I'll be back to this place.
- 5/5
For the price and location it’s awesome. This isn’t a fancy hotel but everything worked, bed was clean, staff was accommodating. If you’re fine saving some money for a place a bit rough around the edges it’s great.
- 5/5
Friendly staff!
- 3/5
This motel has been seriously cleaned up with new paint and fixtures, but it still has tiny rooms with few amenities and cheap fixtures, and the overall ambiance is “low budget motel.” The parking lot under the motel is small and tight, but very convenient if you can get a spot. We had the cheapest room option. Our biggest complaint was a noisy air conditioner and a noisier back alley. We turned the noisy air conditioner off and chose to open our window instead, and we were awoken in the middle of the night by incredibly noisy dumpster-diving, yelling, and bashing in the alley below our window, so we closed the window and turned the AC back on. The room was tiny, with one chair and a small side table with no surface area. The bathroom was clean and functional. Maybe the “suite” option is better? Considering the low price and on site parking, I would stay here again, but only for a place to sleep at night and not for a special or romantic occasion.
- 4/5
Motel style no elevators 3 floors no amenities That being said clean room hot showers comfortable bed and walking distance to Pier 66 and restaurants Perfect for our overnight stayn
- 4/5
It was a quaint area.
- 5/5
The bed was quite comfortable and big. While they didn’t have a continental breakfast. They gave out bags with water, fruit and a snack bar. Would recommend this hotel for something off the beaten path. Not very expensive

I had a nice stay at the Dylan for a one-night trip to Seattle. It's conveniently located in the heart of downtown, with on-site parking a major bonus since it's so rare in the city. My room was bare bones and no-frills, but clean and spacious (and, I wasn't planning on spending much time in the room, anyway). Staff were courteous and efficient, appreciated the free water bottles and grab-and-go breakfast option. Only drawbacks were that my toilet didn't work the one time I had to use it, and the TV didn't work (although again I didn't spend time in the room, anyway). Overall the Dylan is a rare affordable option in Seattle that will meet your basic needs.
- 4/5
Centrally Located so great access to tourist attractions. Clean & Tidy with Friendly Staff. Pricing was very competitively positioned for the location.
- 3/5
I found the location really convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but on the small size. The bathroom could use some updating even though I loved the vintage yellow tile.
- 3/5
Small, cement walls and ceiling with awful patch work on ceiling. Had to go to front desk to get hairdryer. Not inviting at all. Did have fruit, breakfast snacks so that was nice. No elevator no had to haul all our luggage for a cruise up the stairs.
- 3/5
Loved the convenience and how close this place is to everything. The elevator was not available or not working so having to haul our suitcases up 3 flights of stairs was extremely hard. Towels and linens were great. The bed was very firm. The noise was expected as we were downtown.
- 3/5
The parking is the only issue I had at this property. There aren't many street-level spaces and the parking structure below isn't much help. The spaces below are tight and getting in & out of the structure is a challenge. There is only one entrance and it is quite narrow. I drive a Chevy Blazer and I didn't feel comfortable going through there. I can't even imagine the challenge of you have a larger vehicle.
- 4/5
It isn't new, but it's clean, affordable, had a candy bed, and the free parking was a huge plus! The location was perfect for us.
- 2/5
My Two Cents - If you're low on funds, and need a place in downtown, this is your best bet. I would keep your time in the hotel to a bare minimum. But if you're looking for a relaxing stay, this is the time to spend a few more hundred for your peace of mind.
- 4/5
Great for one night in Seattle. I loved that you can walk to anything!
- 5/5
Got there early and they found an available room. This alone gets the 5 stars. However, the location is near a variety of different tourist attractions. Pikes place, the Space needle. And it was walking distance from the train station. Also the el from the airport runs right by it. It’s a no frills hotel. Clean room, great location, friendly staff,…and cheap.
- 5/5
towels and bedding. Free parking was fabulous. Great location with easy walkable access to space needle and waterfront
- 3/5
Didn’t have full blinds, people could look in our room as they walked by. Couch for a third person was uncomfortable and didn’t even fit a 5’5” person. Upside was location, but I would never stay there again.
- 1/5
No one would answer the front desk phone out of the three Wi-Fi they provided none of them worked and I almost missed class went off of my cell phone. My room was right outside the monorail so I heard nothing but loud screeching all throughout the night. being a solo female traveler, I asked for a later check out 1130 or 12 o’clock so I’m not traveling around the city with my luggageand I was told that I had to play by the rules. Someone then proceeded to unlock my door at 10:33 while I was in the restroom. No microwave or fridge. One of the Worse experience I have had. Will not return.
- 2/5
The room was clean, but it was very bare bones and the neighborhood is disaster. This is what happens to sanctuary cities. I had a couch that opened, but they didn’t provide any pillows or sheets. The place was surprisingly clean but extremely dated..
- 5/5
The location is fantastic! You are right in the heart of downtown Seattle. Extremely walkable. The monorail is right in front of the property as well. Pike Place is a 10 minute walk in one direction and the Space Needle is a 10 minute walk in the other direction. Starbucks is a couple of blocks away. Parking is free on the property. The gentleman that checked me in was very friendly and informative. I would definitely stay here again!
- 2/5
The location is excellent but the rooms never get dark and the trash trucks run down the alley 3 times a night every day of the week. If you are looking for rest or quiet, this is not the place. It is probably time to tear this building down. Renovations will not help it.
- 3/5
Overall it was to bad but not enough parking and the homeless man across the street yelling and swearing was unsettling
- 3/5
Rooms are outdated and old. For the price we paid ($190) in this location, it was worth the money that we paid. They are in the middle of renovating, but have only renovated certain aspects of the room. For example, new headboard behind the bed, but old walls and baseboards. New mirror in bathroom, but outdated floor, vanity, and bathtub. It was fairly clean and we felt safe in the room. There were questionable people walking around and sleeping on the ground on the same block, but that is common in Seattle. Overall, we felt safe enough to stay with the gate that closes at night. We would recommend if you are fine with outdated rooms, but not if you are looking for anything modern.
- 1/5
The bathroom light didn’t work you had to giggle it to certain spot for it to stay on. The shower head fell off and there was only hot water knob working so we didn’t shower due to not wanting scolding hot water on our bodies. The fridge freezer leaked all over the food we had went out and bought so we had to toss it the next day.
- 1/5
This is a motel. The pictures are very deceptive. I didn't expect much given the relative cheap price compared to the other hotels...but had I known I was being offered a motel I would have happily spent the extra money on the other hotels within a few blocks. Also the alley behind the motel has a bunch of dumpsters which were being emptied at 4 A.M. Do not stay here if you're older than college age and absolutely do not stay here if you have children.
- 1/5
This place is like the motel from breaking bad. If you are into hiding an affair or smoking crack I’m sure it would be great. Otherwise avoid at all costs.
- 2/5
The hotel was not like the pictures. The room appears to be cleaned but it’s just wiped down. It only has a bed and a piece of table in it. It had nail holes in the wall. The paint was not even. The tub, around the sink/walls and underneath the toilet could have been cleaned more. The main desk personnel acted like I was a bother. No elevator (I’m disabled) . I asked for a room ground level and stated it wasn’t one. The cleaning crew stated it was one on the end. I didn’t fuss. They don’t help you with your suitcases to the room. I was able to get it up the stairs. The breakfast was only offered to some not all. I only picked it because it was Wyndham and location. My family stayed at Hilton. I should have stayed with them after visiting them in the Hilton. I only stayed one day. I would never stay at a Wyndham again without reading reviews and looking at more pictures. (On-site) they apologized for the hotel’s looks in writing. They say it’s under new management.
- 1/5
They claim there’s free parking, but it’s not guaranteed because they rent spots to people not staying there. When we arrived, the front desk guy looked high and couldn’t even help us check in or tell us where to park. Overall, this place was a huge disappointment. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
- 1/5
Check in was fine. The person at the front desk pretty much ignored us, then handed us the key to our room. Do not accept room 218. It is different from all the other visible rooms in the whole hotel. They left us stranded, forcing us to walk down this dark hallway into a room that was the size of a closet overlooking the garbage alley. It was still early, but the front desk person Refused to explain why he chose that room to give us and said if we didn’t like it he’ll just refund it. Mind you we had nowhere else to go but chose the refund.
- 4/5
Was pleasantly surprised at how safe i felt staying in this very reasonably priced downtown motel
- 5/5
It was a great hotel if you’re going to the city for a few days and you’re not planning to stay in the hotel the whole time, if you’re gonna be exploring the city and you just need a place to sleep this is the best option. Also, the parking was included in that save time and money.
- 1/5
We couldn’t even get into the property to check in due to the homeless people blocking the entrance. Booked another hotel.
