Reviews
The Alexis Royal Sonesta Hotel is highly praised for its friendly and helpful staff, modern and spacious rooms, and convenient location near many attractions, restaurants, and bars. However, some guests have expressed dissatisfaction with the noise level, parking issues, and certain amenities such as the safe being too high or the feather comforter being too hot.

Staff were welcoming and friendly. Loved that coffee and water were complimentary. Room was lovely and spacious.
- 5/5
Lovely hotel in a great location
- 5/5
Great views, perfect location! Highly recommend!
- 5/5
We enjoyed the day very much didn’t use the gym though
- 5/5
Great location, love the staff .. love the rooms !
- 5/5
It's an older place but we'll updated, we'll maintained and meticulously clean. The staff went way above and beyond with a kerfuffle we had, which we deeply appreciated. Nice place, worth the money and convenient to downtown.
- 4/5
Staff was amazing - so helpful. Room was very nice and clean.
- 5/5
Arrived from cruise very early and we were happily offered a jr. suite for an incredibly reasonable offer so that we could check in immediately and get settled. The hotel is beautiful, room beyond our expectations...we couldn't stop talking about the TV nook which way amazing! Staff was welcoming and helpful, bar served wonderful cocktails. Location couldn't have been more perfect for a great walking day around the harbor and all city sites.
- 5/5
The hotel was super clean, quiet and location was convenient. Only a few blocks from the market and only a couple blocks to the waterfront. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
This is one of my favorite hotels we’ve ever booked! The location was PERFECT! Close walk to Pikes Place Market, both stadiums and the water front! The hotel was immaculately clean, well decorated and smelled wonderful. The staff were all so friendly! Especially, Noble! He gave us fantastic recommendations, chatted with us about our day of adventures. We will absolutely stay here again!!
- 5/5
Didn't care for the unexpected daily service charge.
- 4/5
It's a very clean and well maintained hotel. The rooms are decorated very modern and I appreciated the space offered in the room we stayed in. The climate control worked nicely in the room and it was comfortable. The only thing missing from the room was a mini-fridge to hold food or cold drinks.
- 5/5
I have to say, this is my new favorite hotel in Seattle! I really enjoyed how laid back and relaxed the atmosphere felt. I also LOVE the fact that there's a perfume shop practically inside the hotel with an amazing selection of perfumes. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable and the location was great. Will be back. Thank you for having me.
- 4/5
Very nice room and bed. It was noisy though.
- 5/5
The room was easy to use. It was clean. The air conditioner was perfect for our needs.
- 5/5
The staff is lovely! The location is ideal— Nothing!
- 5/5
Very pleasant stay before and after cruise. Large room. Helpful staff. Great location to cruise port and sites near main pier. Highly recommend.
- 3/5
Not quite as luxe as the price point would suggest. Weak AC, uncomfortable bed.
- 5/5
Staff were amazing and helpful. Hotel amenities and room were spotless. Room was wonderful. Location was perfect!
- 4/5
Rooms are spacious and comfortable, however the lighting in the room is very dim, and the coffe maker was dirty. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good location to Seattle waterfront.
- 5/5
Muy buenos
- 4/5
Great room with views, the room was a touch rundown for a nice classy hotel. The staff was great, location is perfect and valet was very helpful!
- 5/5
Everyone was so friendly.
- 5/5
A special thank you to Riccardo and Ben, who were incredibly helpful throughout the planning process and during our stay. Riccardo provided thoughtful recommendations for unique Seattle experiences and local hidden gems that were perfect for our travelers, while Ben helped coordinate our airport transportation for 11 guests and made the entire process seamless and easy. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and hospitality truly stood out. The hotel itself was comfortable, welcoming, and in a fantastic location for exploring the city. The level of personalized service we received made a lasting impression, and we greatly appreciated how attentive the team was throughout our visit. We would absolutely recommend The Alexis Royal Sonesta for both individual travelers and group stays visiting Seattle.
- 5/5
Great location, amazing staff! Everything was clean, tidy and well maintained. Only real complaint was lack of a shelf in the shower to put your items on, but that is hardly an issue.
- 5/5
The Alexis was a great option for our stay. Close to everything we wanted to see, but more importantly, we were treated exceptionally well by the staff. Hats off to them and their customer service.
- 5/5
The staff is awesome! We had difficulty finding parking for our very high vehicle. They went above and beyond to get our truck into the parking!
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Good location, quiet, and the bed was comfy..
- 3/5
Location wasn’t at all like other reviews. We did not have a nice welcome. Very short…”here’s your keys” no details about wifi or anything else. Did not receive $12 credit to the cafe or any information at all about anything. Just not a welcoming hotel at all.
- 5/5
Loved the aesthetic . Staff was amazing ! Location perfect
- 1/5
The hotel elevator smelled of cigarettes. My car that was valeted returned smelling of cigarettes, and had a new circular dent in the side of it. I was informed by the front desk that it would be taken care of by insurance, however upon follow up after leaving the property I was informed they would not cover it. Though I appreciated a reimbursement of valet charges, it exceeds the cost of repair.
- 5/5
outstanding service
- 5/5
Really nice staff! Room is really huge and clean
- 5/5
Absolutely fantastic hotel. Our room was on the six floor and we had a beautiful view of pier 54, 56 and the Ferris wheel. The bed and pillows ware very comfortable. Very clean and beautiful room. Great location. I highly recommend this hotel.
- 3/5
Very welcoming and kind. We visited Seattle for our anniversary and she did her best to make our stay special. Hotel is in good location and walkable to every part of the town. Good cafes around. Expensive valet but I guess it is much more convenient and safer compared to other parking around. The hotel itself is a bit outdated and lobby needs some upgrades.
- 5/5
Everything was great!!!! The room was clean, the layout was cool, it was quiet and the staff was awesome!!!
- 5/5
Really liked this hotel. Great location, fabulous restaurant, large rooms with great decor and comfortable beds
- 5/5
Rarely has a hotel stay been as friendly, complete and without problems as our recent stay at the Alexis Royal Sonesta! And as a plus, it is conveniently located to so many top attractions, restaurants and bars.. Will definitiely book again.
- 5/5
Aside from that the location is fantastic, you can walk just about everywhere in 10-15 minutes or snag a bus right outside. I never rent a car in Seattle so it was extra great. Compared to other hotels in the area the rooms are also HUGE and gorgeous. We got a king suite and it was perfect for two people. Additionally, it’s extremely quiet, we never heard any other guests once inside the room and there was zero street noise, which is insane considering you are on 1st street! The staff are kind and super helpful, they allowed me to upgrade to an early check in when our flight was moved and when leaving got us a cab within 4 minutes that was $20 cheaper than uber or Lyft and the cab driver was a literal girl boss. Zero complaints, honestly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

Location
- 5/5
This place was amazing. The staff and facility is 5 star. Will definitely be back soon.
- 5/5
Great location for sports, waterfront, entertainment and food. Would stay here again. Especially for MLB or NFL games👍😉 or to vacation.
- 5/5
Everything was excellent
- 5/5
The staff was very efficient at arranging a cab to the airport for us.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and the staff were helpful! We enjoyed our stay
- 5/5
Huge 2 queen bedroom with tremendous space and high ceilings!!! Always a pleasure staying here 😊
- 3/5
getting the temperature regulated was a challenge
- 5/5
Beautiful architecture, artworks and modern facilities
- 4/5
Our shower was missing the little shelf so we didn’t have anywhere to place our personal toiletries, and I love my skin care. Otherwise the staff was all very excellent and worked with my elderly father who accidentally booked two nights for the same day. This is an excellent hotel for seeing the sights and sounds of Pike Place and downtown Seattle.
- 5/5
Great staff, very welcoming. The rooms were spacious and clean. Can’t wait to visit again.
- 4/5
I was delighted to upgraded to a room with a view. Particularly being my first trip to Seattle it made it very special. The room was quiet, comfortable and felt luxurious, particularly the spa bathroom I was hugely disatisfied by the lack of food service-- bar closed early, no room service and the day I checked out I had to wait 20 minutes just for a coffee and croissant. The coffee shop was woefully understaffed.
- 4.5/5
Lovely room with a birds nest in the tree outside. Surprisingly quiet and very comfy bed. Tea and coffee making in room and in lobby in the morning. So convenient to stadiums & market
- 5/5
The decor and location
- 4/5
Loved my room! Two things: my room felt a bit on the cool side, even with the thermostat maxed out at 76. I thought I felt cool air coming out of the vent (but was too tired to contact the desk about it). The bathroom ceiling fan could use a dusting. All in all, very happy.
- 5/5
Great hotel, will stay again
- 5/5
would recommend
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
Perfect location, and the staff was amazing!
- 5/5
Love this place. Will book again!
- 5/5
It was located to many restaurants and the staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were very kind and accommodating. I love the room I stayed in. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. And the bathroom actually had a fan which is a rarity, I swear. Valet was smooth and super timely. There was no in-room dining unfortunately, but DoorDash was super convenient at this location, which was awesome. Lots of food options nearby. Only a 15-20 min walk away from T-Mobile Park. Will definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
Staff and location were good. Very quiet and peaceful. Bed too low and too soft.
- 5/5
Clean room, good quality amenities, great location, helpful staff. I’d stay here again!
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful, the staff was incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home. The only thing that could’ve made the experience better was if room service was available and if there were robes in the room. Very nitpicky, I know, but those were the only downsides to a wonderful stay. Would absolutely stay here again.
- 4/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
Great location for everything we wanted to do walking distance.
- 5/5
Upscale place
- 5/5
So incredibly welcoming to little pug Kenny
- 5/5
Great, clean, wonderful staff in a great area!
- 3/5
Unfortunately the restaurant experience lowers my review. We ate breakfast on Saturday, March 28th. You had one waiter on staff. Obviously he was having trouble keeping orders straight. We waited almost 1 1/2 hours for our food.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing and incredibly accommodating. Our flight schedule did not mesh well with check in and check out times, but they went out of their way to make sure we could have a wonderful trip. Shout out to the valet for holding our luggage so we could have a nice lunch before heading to the airport!
- 5/5
Beautiful, friendly, helpful, was above and beyond my expectations on everything including the room. Will be the only hotel I stay in when I come to stay in Seattle.
- 5/5
Restaurants and shopping nearby, staff made great recommendations.
- 5/5
very nice hotel
- 5/5
A
- 2/5
Everything was fine overall. Staff wouldn’t really do much to take care of a party going on in the neighboring room so after an hour of trying to get them to do something we finally just asked to be moved at around midnight. The room we were moved into didn’t have any heat and woke up freezing as it was cold in Seattle that night
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Lovely room centrally located with pleasant Staff. An odd tax on the Parking however up to 25 percent that staff could not explain. “It was Corporate”. Otherwise a great experience.
- 5/5
My room was large with a complete wall of windows that were practically floor to ceiling. That room was clean, the bed was soooo comfortable and the room was completely silent. I was not aware of the heat turning on and off during the night. I could not hear people out in the hallway or outside noise through the windows. The best part was the large bathroom with the soaker tub and separate shower. I have stayed at a lot of nice hotels all over the world. This bathroom beat all of the other hotels I have stayed in. The hotel is right in heart of the city with so many wonderful restaurants right outside the doors of the hotel. I will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
If you’re looking for a spotless hotel in downtown Seattle with soul check this out ! Beautiful original architecture, but updated modern rooms with exposed brick walls and cozy ambiance. Staff members all super friendly, and Functional Fitness room stocked with weights, kettle bells, medicine balls, mats etc. Location so close to waterfront, ferry terminal, Pike Place etc.
- 1/5
Room was subpar, at best. I paid extra for a preferred double queen and got a room that looked like an after thought like it was a storage room. Huge room with nothing worthwhilenin it, poor decor, terrible beds with hard mattresses and no box springs. Also, they failed to de-feather my room so we had to wait over an hour while the non-housekeeping staff tried to figure it out at 9pm! Lame.
- 5/5
This location genuinely knows the meaning of the word 'hospitality'. From check-in to check-out everyone we interacted with was kind and hospitable.
- 5/5
Beds were incredible, staff was excellent. We are not a fan of shower stalls with no curtain or door, or of rolling barn-door style bathrooms, but otherwise everything in the room was perfectly lovely,
- 5/5
Our host
- 5/5
Staff was incredible. Rooms are well designed and comfortable. Fantastic location.
- 5/5
The heat worked great, no problems getting comfortable. Nice to have water in the lobby and coffee in lobby in the morning too. Restaurant on site and good food and we had excellent service from night waitress.
- 5/5
Great hotel. Beautiful rooms nice location
- 5/5
Great room
- 5/5
The staff was so helpful and kind, the rooms were so clean and large. My room was filled with so much character and the feel of the old building. The beautiful arched windows were my favorite and having a bar/cafe right in the lobby was amazing.
- 5/5
Welcoming staff, fantastic location and clean spacious room
- 5/5
Wonderful, welcoming staff. Great restaurant recommendation. Close to ferry which I needed. Well appointed room.
- 4/5
Perfect location for a weekend in Seattle. Feels a bit dated, but the staff is excellent

- 5/5
Location, room, cleanness, stuff, all exceeded our expectations. Oh, the mattress and sheets were amazing!! Best sleep ever.
- 4/5
Supposed to get a $12 credit to the bar when charging to the room but they never applied it. 3.5-4/5
- 5/5
Great room nice staff very good place to stay
- 5/5
No microwave in the room
- 5/5
The hotel is clean and beautiful, the staff are nice
- 5/5
The ac went off and we couldn’t figure out how to turn it back on
- 3/5
We had a standard king and the room was pretty small. Barely enough room for one med size roller bag. A furniture was jammed in and not a lot of room to move. We were there for one night so not a big deal, but if I were staying longer I would want larger room.
- 4/5
Clean, nice staff and major security!!!
- 5/5
Check in and the staff was very well friendly and timely.
- 5/5
Great large room.
- 5/5
The restaurant staff was amazing
- 5/5
Great location. Food at the Bookstore Cafe was great as was the service. Comfortable room.
- 4/5
There was nothing wrong with the hotel. It was very nice and I would stay again. I would just ask for a room with a view and not a neighboring brick wall.
- 5/5
Manager was awesome and accommodating Everything was great
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel. Always has been. The city has changed a lot and the taxes from the city/state and the resort fees make the prices very high, but this is the best hotel in Seattle.
- 5/5
Beds were very comfy. Room was very clean and cozy. Doorman, front desk staff, waiter were all super friendly. Food was delicious! A little pricey with the exchange rate but appreciated the $12 credit. Allowed us to enjoy the restaurant for food and drinks.
- 5/5
Great
- 4.5/5
Take out from bar forgot my ice tea. Breakfast was good next day but no salsa Service in bookstore
- 5/5
Great location, nice restaurant and bar available on the bottom floor, rooms are excellent with big windows. Shower is very nice and staff is excellent. Perfect location to move around from in the city.
- 5/5
I really liked the staff they were very friendly and helpful!! I liked everything
- 3.5/5
The main issue we had with our room was the mold in the bathroom. There was a good amount of mold on the ceiling in between the shower and the sink. The room was great, the location was perfect, the mold was just an atrocity for the price we paid for the room. I understand it was an extremely busy weekend in Seattle so the price was understandable, but the mold was not. The mold was unfortunately the line that was crossed. I cannot stay in a location with mold and unfortunately, we didn't notice it until after the concert we came to see. I was washing my makeup off, I look up and there's the mold! Gross.
- 2.5/5
Location great, natural light amazing, style overall was nice Bathroom was dingy and dusty. Corners dirty. Shoddy grout/sealant. Minibar/snacks were extremely overpriced.
- 3.5/5
Expensive, coffee maker didn't work,
- 5/5
Very loud outside all night. Parking is a bit expensive when you already pay a destination fee as well as room cost.
- 5/5
This hotel was such a great surprise. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They really listened when they asked you questions and made our stay magical. The room was spacious, clean and relaxing. I enjoyed the view and comfortable bed. The location of the hotel was ideal since many attractions were in walking distance. The dinning/bar downstairs had great food, the owner knows how to make a delicious drink. This will definitely be a hotel we look to book again when staying in Seattle.
- 5/5
Elegance
- 3/5
The room was kinda bland given the nightly rate.. nothing that wow’d us, your basic stuff felt like an upgraded motel.. I had stayed here a few yrs back and loved the room we had then which was a double, it had more character then which is why I booked it again.. but this time around, it was disappointing.. had even messaged prior that we were in town for my husband’s bday and nothing special, no note, or anything to show some acknowledgment (we’ve stayed in other hotels that have, it’s just added hospitality that can make guests feel more welcomed and more personable of an experience).. not gonna waste our money here, and esp w a valet that cost 77$ after taxes..! No breakfast just a restaurant downstairs. The lobby was ok. Felt cold.. bland as the room.
- 5/5
Valet was super kind and always so welcoming!
- 5/5
The staff were very nice. Room was spacious and nice view.
- 5/5
Charming boutique hotel that was in a good location and quiet. The food in The Bookstore Cafe was good and the service was friendly.
- 5/5
Everything was fantastic!
- 5/5
every thing was good
- 5/5
Hotel was overall excellent..the room, service…will definitely stay there again!
- 5/5
Cool room, great staff
- 5/5
Staff very welcoming and accommodating, room was clean and spacious.
- 5/5
Excellent, no complaints! The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early, which was nice because we were headed to the Seahawks game. Everything about the hotel was beautiful. The room was clean & the bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
The room was very clean and the staff was super helpful.
- 4/5
Room was clean and spacious, staff pleasant and helpful. Bed was comfy. Room definitely could use an upgrade/update. Felt very fiftyish, but without much charm. Location definitely a big plus.
- 3/5
No daily cleaning service and didn't feel worth the money
- 5/5
-
- 3/5
The valet could actually come out to greet arrivals or be awake at their post. Room square footage should note the hallways is 50% of the addition and suites should note that fireplaces aren’t in every suite despite what a website might indicate.
- 5/5
Amazing experience all around!
- 2/5
Horrible unsecured network for internet. I had to use my personal hot spot because I could never get safe internet access. This problem is a non-negotiable for business travelers. Will never stay here again.
- 4/5
Cute vibe!
- 5/5
The staff was really friendly, the food was amazing, and the room was clean and comfortable. Overall experience was fantastic!!!
- 5/5
Nice room, great location
- 5/5
Nobel at the front desk was friendly , attentive and very helpfull when we checked in late on Friday evening .
- 5/5
The room was clean, amenities were great, it was comfortable and we were extremely happy. Will be returning.
- 5/5
Spacious, great lighting, well appointed
- 4/5
I didn't rent a car because a lot of attractions are a walkable distance from the hotel and for those that don't like walking public transportation is everywhere. A daily day pass is 6.00 and it can be used on the bus and light rail. Rideshares are available however they are somewhat pricey due to the additional fees and taxes. The same is true for food delivery and parking. This was my 1st time visiting Seattle as an adult, this city has fees and surcharges on everything. The hotel requires a deposit of 100. per night and yes the deposit is refundable, there is a daily destination tax fee of 28.93, 12.00 of this fee can be used daily at the bookstore bar as long as you charge the bill to your room.
- 5/5
Super friendly staff, good looking
- 5/5
Staff is always super helpful. Location is great. Room is comfy and well appointed.
- 5/5
Very comfortable, stylish and convenient. Staffwas helpful and fabulous. Restaurant was great.
- 4/5
All was OK
- 5/5
The front desk guy, Noble, was a star ⭐️ and we were greeted so wonderfully. It was our serendipitous night out without the kids, and we needed some real rest, so we came here. It was just perfect - peaceful, roomy, great good sleep.
- 5/5
Would definitely stay there again
- 5/5
Lovely
- 5/5
Front desk people were incredible
- 4/5
Boutique feel all around. Room was large, nicely furnished and had a unique style. Staff were friendly and chill, professional but not stiff - generally a joy to chat with.
- 5/5
The staff upgraded me to one of the nicest rooms they had free of charge. Everybody from the check-in staff to the valet were really great. The room was amazing and just made my weekend.
- 5/5
Spacious, comfortable room with great art and high quality linens
- 4/5
They charge $25/day but you get a $12 credit to use at the bookstore cafe. I didn’t like the food there, the nearly $20 avocado toast wasn’t toasted, just soft bread with a thin layer of avocado spread and a little salad spread across. We left the cafe hungry and unsatisfied but anyway, you can ALSO use the daily $12 for the mini bar stuff in your room! I loved the room, loved the 24 hr valet, except the 1 time they forgot about me and I waited patiently for for 30 minutes because they told me they were busy and I might have to wait 15-20 min. I didn’t get the wifi info and didn’t have wifi but it’s my bag because I could have called or went to the front desk to get it. The room was so cozy with tall ceilings, i wish I was there to hang out and read books, the xl window with a large ledge for my coffee gave great book reading vibes! I will definitely come back here when I go to my next game at Lumen for the location! However my next trip to Seattle will be a new adventure somewhere else
- 5/5
Great staff & great location
- 4/5
Staff were friendly and very helpful. The shower needs a shower curtain.
- 2/5
No daily room service
- 5/5
This hotel was clean, updated, modern, and designed/decorated well. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The location was great. I definitely recommend this hotel!
- 5/5
Room was spacious and the views were excellent. What stood out the most was a very friendly staff that made you feel welcome.
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful and made you feel welcome
- 5/5
Clean room, amenities were fabulous, the most courteous staff,
- 3/5
The room was sufficient and the staff was very good, but the housekeeping left something to be desired. The overall feel was old and a bit run down. The restaurant was terrible. The food appeared and tasted like they pulled it out of a freezer and put it in the microwave. The cocktails were absolute amateur. And it had a 9.4 rating. I would never stay here again.
- 5/5
The staff was very courteous and very helpful throughout our stay! The hotel itself is beautiful and has comfortable feel . The bookstore restaurant was a plus too with delicious food and great coffee! Last, but not least, the location was perfect for easy access to downtown attractions and the piers.
- 5/5
Beautiful room. Friendly staff. Loved the valet guy so much.
- 4/5
I think the $25/day extra charge for a couple bottles of water and access to the fitness center is nothing more than a greed-grab for more money from your patron guests. The hotels I stay in include the fitness center as part of my rate. Yours is a ruse to collect more income, which has left a bad taste in my mouth for your marketing. Nowhere in my reservation information was it mentioned that you world charge me an extra $50 for 2 bottles of water and your fitness center, for my 2-day stay, regardless of whether I used it or not. It’s disappointing that your company thinks this ploy is of value to your guests. Your room rate was almost $400 per night, and yet you see a need to charge another $25 per night for 2 water bottles and a fitness center?!? That’s pretty bush-league. Troy Buford
- 5/5
The gentlemen at the front desk were truly awesome!! Very friendly and helpful. Our suite was a nice surprise. Huge! And the floor to ceiling windows were great. You can't be the location! Walking distance to everything Seattle, including Lumen field.
- 5/5
Hotel bien ubicado, buena atención, cuarto enorme y cómodo.
- 5/5
This place is wonderful. Great, central location to everything we love doing in downtown Seattle. Staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is always immaculately clean. We will continue staying here for many years to come.
- 5/5
Was very happy with this selection
- 4/5
Clean room and friendly staff
- 5/5
Perfect in every way. We have stayed here many time and will continue to . The front desk personal are fantastic, our room gets upgraded and by far the best! The valet parking is quick and friendly. Couldn't ask for a better area since we are able to walk everywhere.
- 4/5
Close to tourist attractions
- 5/5
Very comfortable and located close to the atractions I visited.
- 5/5
Very nice location, quiet, great staff.
- 4/5
Went to check out at 10:15 am and valet parking had 7 people waiting for vehicles. Was totally disappointed with the valet parking services.20 minutes and I was the 2nd person in line.I can’t even imagine how long the last person took to get there vehicle.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel in a great location ! Walked to all the attractions!!
- 5/5
The room and facilities were clean. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
A well-kept older building with modern updates, very helpful staff, convenient to many attractions, quiet.
- 4/5
Air conditioning was nice and cool which we liked; room was extra large, clean and comfortable, except the sofa in our room was so low and the bottom cushion was flat and clearly worn. Would've liked a more comfortable sofa to lounge on. Service at the front desk was always friendly and helpful; attached bar/restaurant was lacking good customer service, plus they didn't have a few items we ordered two days in a row. Felt like they were disorganized. Would stay again, but probably won't go to attached bar/restaurant again.
- 5/5
Really great staff and nice boutique hotel.
- 5/5
Great little Boutique Hotel feel.
- 5/5
Great location, close to everything you might need. Would stay here again for sure.
- 4/5
For the prince all of the hidden costs were not appreciated, extra for parking and resort fees
- 5/5
Our experience was great! We got an upgrade and were given a beautiful room with a magnificent view and this majestic tub with a skylight. It was perfect!

The staff made this stay so wonderful. They were all supper supper helpful and friendly. Walkable distance to everything!

Wish they had some type of shop for snacks, drinks

This property does not provide trash disposal areas on each floor, so unwanted trash may need to remain in your hotel room.

I was charged twice for my one night stay. They refused to credit the other night! Three trips down to the desk with proof of my dbl charge, they were adamant. They said they didn’t have an upgrade as well, we opened our curtains to a brick walled building. I paid a “resort fee”, a resort fee? For what? Service in the restaurant was incredibly slow with only 2 people working, breakfast cost me $42 for 2 coffee and 2 breakfast burritos (Cdn) there is a charge for one night to park your car, $60+ in US funds! I do not recommend this hotel at all! Save your money and find so ething better!

Beautiful hotel, nice location.
- 5/5
Love the location & the rooms are beautiful. All in all a good value property. I am however annoyed by the “property use” fee. This is a charge for absolutely nothing in my opinion.
- 5/5
We always find our way back here when we come up for the Seahawks game. Our room is beautiful, comfortable and service is fantastic.
- 4/5
To start, the staff at this hotel were absolutely wonderful. They were so welcoming and friendly we were happy to have chosen this place to stay. The room was exactly as expected - nicely furnished, plenty of room to move around. The location was also perfect. We didn't have a chance to try the onsite cafe but it always had a line so I expect it was pretty good. Would definitely stay there again!
- 3/5
Would have rated 5/5 star as the rooms - large and amazing. But 62$ valet parking AND then they charged additional 15$ for parking tax on top of that sad to say tainted our memory staying here sadly
- 5/5
Loved the atmosphere and service. Very accommodating to our needs

Our daughter was getting married, and this is the hotel she had chosen to stay. Very glad she did. The staff are exceptional and took care of our groups entire needs. Beds are a little firm for us and everything else was perfect. Thank you to all the staff for helping create such a memorable experience.

Room was dark. We could hear the neighbors. Felt a little rundown. Friendly staff. Great location.

Very comfortable, great location, nice little gym, and the staff was super friendly.

There are lots of excellent hotels in Seattle but this one is hard to beat.
- 5/5
The room was spacious and lovely. Staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
Had a great time. All of the staff was incredibly lovely. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 3/5
For the price they charge there could atleast be a pool or hottube and a little more update to the rooms. Not much sound proofing at all could hear the tv’s in the room and hallway.
- 5/5
The staff where very helpful and friendly and the room was extremely nice.
- 4/5
View.
- 3/5
Some staffs are very friendly, some not so much. Unclear on hotel credit policy, leading to incomplete information. Underwhelming.
- 5/5
Great view!
- 5/5
Excellent, attentive staff at this property. Well maintained and great location to see the waterfront area.
- 5/5
it was a beautiful property, and everyone we talked to was so kind and helpful. Would stay again!

Loved our stay

We stayed four nights in August and had a lovely time at this boutique hotel. The room itself was simply decorated but spacious and comfortable. Was pretty cool to have a view of the ferris wheel lit up at night. The hotel is a short walk to many restaurants and attractions, with Pioneer Square on one end and Pike Place on the other end. We felt very comfortable walking every night up and down First Ave. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
- 5/5
Wonderful! Spacious, clean, perfect location. Super friendly and helpful staff.
- 4/5
The convenience fee was unexpected.

Staff is wonderful, beds are amazing, and rooms are quiet!
- 5/5
The staff was so friendly and our room was amazing! 10/10 would stay here again!

The off lobby bar and restaurant, our server and the bartender.
- 3/5
The great part of this hotel is that everything is walkable. Pike's place is 5 minutes away - walking. I give this place a 3 star because I could hear people walking around upstairs all night. All the walking and floor squeaking is so prominent. They need to add some sort of buffer or soundproof the floor/ceiling a lot better. Secondly, I thought late check-out (paid) is at 4pm but front desk told me it was at 2pm. Having a late flight it was important to me to have a late checkout option, so to know that it's only at 2pm was a bummer. As an Expedia VIP member, they only gave me a complimentary 1 hour extra for late check-out. I would have to pay $50 + tax for an additional 2 hours until 2pm. Parking fee is extremely high @ $62 + tax - but this seems like the norm in this area in general. Would I book this place again? mixed feelings, if I did I would definitely make sure I got the top floor so I can sleep.
- 4/5
Room was worn and in need of a renew
- 5/5
There was an African American gentleman at the front desk that was exceptional. The hotel was beautiful, but we would return because of the hospitality.
- 5/5
What a place to stay! best in town, specially if you stay in the room with sea view
- 5/5
It was a nice hotel with great service. I wish our room was slightly larger.
- 5/5
The room was quiet where it was located in the hotel. The room was very clean. The housekeeping staff was friendly and efficient. The front desk staff was helpful.
- 5/5
Great hotel in a great location if attending any sporting events.

Valet staff were by far the best !! This is our go to from now on!

Beautiful room. THE STAFF WAS SO KIND.
- 5/5
Staff was great and nice
- 5/5
Excelente hotel para hospedarse cerca de todo, a solo unos minutos del muro de chicle y del pikes market. También a dos cuadras del pier.
- 3/5
This property is just dated. Rooms are drab. Parking charges are exorbitant. Resort fee is a joke.

The front desk people were great. The bar and resturant employees were

The location of this hotel is perfect for downtown Seattle, Lumen field as well as waterfront and Pikes Place Market. The staff was very friendly and professional. Check-in was quick and easy.
- 5/5
2nd stay here and will be back, great location - walkable to Lumen field and to Pike Place. Beautiful rooms, quality bed linens & bath products, and the comfiest beds that make you want late check out! Staff are very helpful and gracious!
- 5/5
Bed super comfortable, huge rooms lots of space, and even mini bar of snacks. Hotel has good accommodations and very clean and safe!
- 4/5
Wish we had more options when watching tv. Not that many channels.
- 4/5
Hotel is centrally-located in a very walkable area. Friendly + helpful staff, clean room, extra effort is given to being eco-friendly. Would give highest rating if the room had a chair to sit in. At $400 a night a chair for reading or tv should be a given.
- 4/5
Our room was nice, however the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, and the toilet was loose/rocked. The hotel lobby had a really uninviting smell in the earlier hours but maybe that’s a sewer problem in Seattle? Overall liked our stay and would probably stay again.
- 5/5
Came up from Portland for the night wonderful staff and easy walking distance to the Baseball stadium.
- 3/5
Very disappointing since we were here for our anniversary .
- 4/5
It was a wonderful room except all the hidden additonal costs - totaling over $100 when we arrived. This left a bad taste in the mouth
- 3/5
The fireplace had battery operated candles and half of them didn’t work. When laying on the bed, you could reach over and touch the bathroom. While in the bathroom, the toilet paper holder is literally right next to the bowl hitting you when you sit on it. There was a seem down the middle of the wall. And the room felt like it might’ve been a closet converted into a room. I could swear that the website said that there was room service, but they actually was not. The restaurant that is connected to the hotel was understaffed making a quick meal over an hour. I will say, though that the staff was extremely friendly. They were also very helpful even the poor waiters that we dealt with the restaurant were super nice. I’m not sure that we will ever stay at this hotel again. It is definitely not the hotel that it used to be.
- 5/5
Convenient location in good area close to stadium and Pikes Market.
- 3/5
Was nice, sucked no restaurant there for kids. Only a bar / cafe for 21 and older. Smelled like dog but pet friendly so understanding. Staff was nice, and room was big enough for roll in bed (did get suite room)
- 5/5
Always a pleasure staying here
- 5/5
Welcoming lobby, nice little bar downstairs, great large room with a large window. Very walkable location in a safe area.
- 5/5
We revisited as we had gotten married here 21 years ago, in the bistro. We love this hotel!
- 5/5
Gorgeous and such a large room. Close to everything
- 5/5
Brandon and the entire team are truly amazing. Each of them helpful, always smiling, and eager to serve customers. The Alexis is our favorite hotel for many reasons with Brandon and the team at the top of the list.
- 4/5
Only thing we prefer is real coffee mug vs paper in a hotel Best ice in any hotel we’ve stayed of late. A bonus for full days /nights walking the city Thank you
- 5/5
Great location and staff, unique modern.
- 5/5
My stay here was impeccable. No notes, no complaints!
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was nice, clean and very comfortable. The staff was wonderful. Friendly and very helpful. Several restaurants in the area, and just a couple blocks from the Washington State Ferry terminal, Waterfront Park, Pioneer Square, and Pike Place Market. I’ll definitely stay here the next time I’m in Seattle!

Great hotel
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel! The location was excellent, and we could walk everywhere. Only about 1-2 blocks from Pikes Place, and surrounded by shops, restaurants, and bars. Also, easy walk to the baseball stadium. The staff were very friendly and kind. The room was huge, and very clean. There was also a great bar/restaurant attached to the hotel on the main street. I loved this hotel!
- 5/5
Everything was perfect and effortless!

Great location.
- 3/5
Valet was awful. We waited over 30 minutes to get our car to the spot it needed to be. It was awful awful.

Overall was great except for the loud trucks dumping dumpsters at 3am . Friendly , clean
- 5/5
Amazing upgrade to a suite..Brandon at the front desk was top notch!!
- 5/5
Had a wonderful stay over the course of 5 days. The staff was friendly and helped us out when we needed to have a wheelchair-bound friend make it down the hill. The hotel room was comfortable and clean and a welcome haven when we returned from exploring.
- 5/5
Parking wasn’t too fun even with valet service. Signage wasn’t very clear.
- 5/5
We were absolutely thrilled with our stay - the staff, the room, the food, all 10/10 excellent!
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful and accommodating and the location was amazing and walking distance from most of the things we did.
- 5/5
Great service, rooms were beautiful, and a great location! Highly recommend if you have a Seattle trip planned. Three blocks from Pike Market, close to many shops and restraunts, you'd be happy there.
