Great staff!

We checked in to find a plate of cookies in the lobby to snack on. The pineapple decor everywhere is colorful and fun, complimented by the entertaining video wall in the lobby. Our room was comfy and had plenty of everything we needed. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We were in walking distance of the Space Needle, Chihuly Glass Museum, the Rep Theater, great restaurants and more. We loved our time at The Maxwell!

They waived the early arrival fee which was nice. Rooms were nice and clean, beds comfortable. Shower water pressure was excellent! My sister recommended this hotel and I am glad she did. It was very centrally located. And we could walk to places nearby including Hagen for wonderful pastries and coffee, Toulouse for delicious Cajun style meals and seafood and drinks as well as a QFC for groceries and take out food.

Our stay at the Maxwell StayPineapple was wonderful! The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the food at the hotel, and our waitress, Victoria, was extremely friendly and helpful in suggesting interesting things to see. The hotel was such a close distance to a lot of attractions, restaurants, and the Monorail.

I always love staying here. We've stayed here a few times as our good friends live in the neighborhood. The staff is fantastic and friendly, beds are comfortable and there is so much seating on the main floor to have a coffee or relax. Great location too.

Loved this property. Love the decor. The beds were very comfortable. The location was close to the space needle but just a little out of the way for most of the activities I wanted to go to. Staff was excellent.

Such a lovely, eclectic lobby with a beautiful, white grand piano and cool little seating nooks. We loved all of the pineapple touches: coffee and pineapple cookies at 3:30... also pineapple smelling soap, shampoo, conditioner, pineapple toilet paper, mugs, pineapple charging station in the rooms. The beds were fantastically comfy, and the bedding was like a cloud. We would definitely stay here again - very very clean and pretty. About a 5 min walk to the space needle and loads of restaurants/coffee shops around. Only about 25 min to walk to pikes place market. Appreciated the free coffee/drink cards to use in the morning. This was a great spot to stay after getting off our Alaskan cruise.

My only disappointment was the pool being closed for maintenance. The staff was very helpful and generous with a difficult check in related to a double booking at last minute.

This hotel is extremely clean and the beds are super comfortable. We had a really nice stay here and would definitely stay again. Shout out to the staff for your recommendations of things to do in the area!

Good location. The best part was discovering that there were bicycles for the guests’ use. It was fairly charmless, the room was on the small side, the bed wasn’t particularly comfortable, and it didn’t feel clean.

Location is withing a few minutes walking distance to the Space Needle and Chiluhi Garden. The monorail.is next to the Needle and in 6 min minutes younarw downtown by the harbor and Pike Market. Highly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish. The refilling station for water and the bikes avait for borrowing were an added touch that most places don't usually offer. I loved the funky decor and the themselves throughout the hotel. Top notch.

The property is lovely and has a distinctive pineapple concept throughout the hotel. The Aria King Room is quite spacious, which worked well for us as we were travelling from Australia across Canada and the USA with a fair bit of luggage. While the room is spacious, you can hear every footstep from upstairs, which can be annoying if you’re a light sleeper like us. The shower pressure also isn’t that great. At check-in, we were asked to pay an amenities fee, even though our booking confirmation showed a resort fee had already been included. Not really sure if they’re different charges or just different wording, but it was a bit confusing when we arrived. This was also the first and only hotel we’ve stayed at in the US that has asked us to pay an additional amenities fee like this at check-in. We also noticed we were charged more than what was initially advertised on Booking.com, and it wasn’t just our booking, my sister had the same issue with her room as well. We only realised after checking our bank accounts. Would be good to know the difference between a resort fee and an amenities fee, as we thought they were the same thing, just called something different.

We were pleased with the cleanliness of our room and the lobby areas. It was pleasant to relax and read in the lobby or simply look out the windows.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable! You could hear footsteps from the room upstairs at times. I also noticed I was charged more than expected when booking through a third-party site. The parking fee was extremely expensive at $52, and there seemed to be additional hidden charges that were not clearly communicated beforehand.

Chandra at the front desk totally saved the day when we found that our booking was 2 day instead of 3. They were booked up for day 3 but she immediacy got us in at the sister property at a discount and saved a lot of stress.

Overall very happy with our one-night stay. We booked because our cruise to Alaska was leaving the next day and the staff was very helpful. They let us store the luggage for couple of hours after check-out and the cruise port was just $12 away by Uber. Recommend for sure! Clean and great location just walk-distance from Space Needle.

Excellent location for short walk to Climate Pledge Arena and Seattle Center with easy access to the Monorail. The room was comfortable and clean. My only complaints was a light bulb was out in one lamp and the cheap hair dryer was not strong but got very very hot. The water in the shower did not get hot enough for me but it was adequate. I liked that they accept pets and provide recyclable water bottles. Bed was very comfortable but I didn't especially care for the two separate european duvets. The lobby is quirky but seems a bit dated. All my interactions with hotel staff were great. All in all I would definitely stay here again although the food and drinks were pricey.

You’re paying for the location. The rooms could use some TLC. For close to $500 CA per night I’d expect better. Parking is $40US per night. Next time I’d rather stay a little further from city centre for better quality for a lesser price.

Great place to stay while visiting Seattle! Chandra at the front desk was absolutely amazing! We stayed one night here before boarding a cruise for our anniversary. While dropping our luggage off before our room was ready, we mentioned we were in town for our anniversary. When we got back and into our room they had decorated our room for us and left us a personalized card! Such a personal touch that really elevated the stay. The room was clean and we had a great view of the Space Needle. The hotel is easy walking distance to the highlights along with easy access to public transportation to help get around. They also have a shuttle service they can arrange for you to take guests to the port and airport for a small fee. We would already visit again for the clean rooms and location, but the amazing staff, especially Chandra, really made it special for us. We will definitely be back on our next trip to the city!

Wonderful experience! The staff is professional and knowledgeable. The hotel is pre-set to anticipate your every need. The level of cleanliness and freshness of the room and its amenities is at 5 star hotel level. Robes, plush towels, refrigerator, microwave, upgraded coffee maker, large mirrors. Excellent food choices and lots of complimentary amenities. Highly recommended.

The hotel was very clean and it felt very inviting upon arrival. Staff was nice and helped us with several requests such as early check in (for a small fee) to food recommendations. The room is very spacious. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was top tier. We also felt safe the entire time.

Staff was amazing, room was clean and great. Only complaint I have is pulling unit he garage and garage parking is very compact so good luck if you have a truck. When pulling into the garage, you’ll see a bunch of scuff marks on the wall from all the cars pulling in (not literally all but a lot). Should have other options for bigger cars than Sedan size

Our stay at Staypineapple was awesome!! It was clean and upgraded. But the best part was individual fluffy comforters!! I will forever look to stay at Staypineapple properties! The staff was very helpful and kind. We parked a car in the garage and it felt very safe. The Queen Anne area was clean and safe to walk to dinner but still very convenient to downtown. I can not recommend this stay enough!

Amazing hotel and location for Kraken fans! The staff and dogs are friendly!

Clean room, early checkin was perfect, loved the in room fridge and microwave.

When we arrived, there were several carpet beetles, including on the bed. They came and cleaned the room the next morning, which was much appreciated. The pool was also very chlorinated and made us all feel sick. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the pool again, which was a bummer! I also didn’t like that I wasn’t made aware of the parking cost until the check in email. We were charged for 3 days of parking when we were there for two nights and a total of 42 hours. I like the location being close to the Seattle Center and the staff I came across were all great, but we probably won’t stay there again.

Great location. Traveling with family and children and they loved the pineapple decor and hotel amenities. The pool was nice and the food in the cafe was perfect for breafast or late evening snack.

Staff at the hotel is friendly, bedding is soft wand good… however the building feel so old and needs some work… like the fitness center the equipments feel like they are from a different century

The hotel was very nice and really clean. The staff was very kind and even took off the additional cost of the early check in that we did not get to use due to our flight being delayed. The only issue was just how expensive the parking fees are. I know that should be expected for the area but it was just a lot.

Fun decor and lovely staff. Enjoyed the room especially the down comforters. Hotel was convenient to Seattle Center, many restaurants and had nice bar with perfectly decent food. The only thing that startled me but really shouldn’t have was that the charges for parking and local hotel taxes and fees were about equal to the great rate we got for the room. Overall, totally worth it!

Staff were a bit standoff ish. And dining experience was poor. They were friendly at dinner but food was awful. Breakfast they were rude told us oven was broken and then as were leaving said to the guests in line who heard that the ovens were fine.

We had a wonderful experience and I would happily stay at a StayPineapple hotel in the future. Not only was the staff friendly and accommodating, but they went the extra mile to decprate the room for the kids' birthdays we were celebrating. Thank you for making it a special weekend for the whole family! Also, super convenient location if you are in town for a Kraken game.

Nice hotel, the only issue was that the water temperature in the shower would go from hot to cold in an instant. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Property was excellent. I reserved it at only $117 for the night. When I checked out, I got an email receipt for $173. Seattle has ridiculous high taxes on everything, but $29.95 of this was a so-called guest amenities fee. What the hell is a guest amenities fee?? We did not get any amenities or do anything special or even call them for anything. This is a little ridiculous, especially since it's mentioned nowhere on the Expedia site. I would have gotten the hotel that was a lot closer to our venue had I known the price was going to be basically the same. Seems a little bait and switch to me.

The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were super clean and extremely comfortable.

The hotel is stylish and unique, elegant, fun, loaded with personality. I came for the opera and it is one block away. The perfect stay. A lot of other things I like to do are farther away, but I like to walk and the February weather was sunny and pristine. To get to Amtrak I took the Monorail to Westlake Center and walked the rest of the way from there to save some time. This was my second time at this property and I'd be delighted to return again and again.

My Top 3 Tips. Tip #1: Lighting is dim, so BYO lighted mirror if you need it. Tip #2: Bring your own paper products. Tip #3: Love the coupon for a free welcome drink or morning coffee, just remember the baristas close right at 11:30 am. We plan to stay again and would recommend it to a friend!

And, still five stars, even with a couple nits: -Keurig coffeemakers. Yuck. American hoteliers: use an electric kettle like Europeans. Good instant coffee tastes as good or better than Keurig. And no extra landfill. Grandpa can learn how to use an electric kettle if he learned how to use a Keurig. -And this one is unique to me, a veteran gardener and landscaper: please spend a few hundred bucks and mulch your grounds! There's just bare irrigation hose on compacted earth. Those plants and trees will suffer from the neglet. Plus it will make the hotel look like a million bucks for very little money. Do it once in spring and again in fall. Trust me.

Clean room, staff, amenities… everything was perfect like always!!!

We arrived at 4:30 and were told our room wasn’t ready yet (check-in was at 4:00) and they’d email or text when it was ready. We waited in the hotel bar area for an hour with no text or email so we checked back at 5:30 and discovered that the room was ready. Was a little frustrating that we weren’t notified and waited so long.

I had a wonderful stay at the Maxwell hotel. I came for my birthday and the staff decorated my room. I had a wonderful view of the space needle. The bartenders were fantastic and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel. The bed was comfortable. The decor was very cute. There was plenty to eat right around the hotel, including their own restaurant. I would definitely recommend that hotel and I will be back someday again. Thank you, Staypineapple for the wonderful experience!

We had the best day at The Pineapple Hotel! We were excited to find our room to be decorated for our daughter‘s 13th birthday (thanks to Tia), the beds were very comfortable, and the room was clean. We found the front desk staff to be welcoming, kind, and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again!

The room was clean, the A/C worked great, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The pool was smaller than we expected and there’s no hot tub, but the kids absolutely loved it. The American breakfast plates were generously portioned—three were enough to feed our whole family (4 kids and 2 adults), which was a nice bonus. The decor was cute and the overall vibe of the place was warm and welcoming.

The smoke detector went off from showering, we called the front desk to let them know and they said it’s a known and common problem. They told us to fan it and open the window and they would turn it off on their end, they didn’t. We had to listen to the alarm going off for a large part of our morning and they didn’t seem to care or be concerned. Frustrating to say the least.

The only downside was the lack of parking. They refunded my fees though once I told them there were no spots. It was a great stay, really fun hotel.

This is a clean property located close to Belltown and the area of the space needle. What dismayed us about the property was the addition per night "amenity fee" collected at check-in. Wifi is essentially an additional cost. The lobby free coffee is removed at 7a after which time you have to pay for coffee. The housekeeping services only are offered if you stay more than 2 nights so if you stay a weekend, as we did, we didn't even have our trash emptied. The food at the bar was mediocre. This is always my go to hotel when I stay in Seattle. This was for my daughter‘s 18th birthday and it was absolutely amazing. Not only was the place clean and immaculate as always they even decorated the room and put out candy and treats, ballon’s and cards for my daughter for her 18th birthday. It was a great experience, not only for myself, but for my daughter and her friends.

Room was alright if a bit old and lackluster. Staff was friendly and we appreciated being able to check in early. The bed was so extremely uncomfortable that we could barely sleep. This is my second such experience at a StayPineapple hotel and I think it is a dealbreaker for the future

It was FANTASIC! The whole Christmas and Pineapple atmosphere, my boys adored ELFIE, the pineapple cookies, the staff, the extra goodies after we received after I was upset that we didn't get the decorated room that I booked - they sure made up their mistake with an upgrade and treats for my boys. You now have a customer for life after the way you handled my situation!

It was incredibly loud in the room. Could hear doors slamming and people walking. Was very hot and couldn't figure out how to turn down the heat. Made a simple request for a shower cap and the person at the front desk said they would "see if housekeeping could bring it to me". I asked how I would know if it was on the way and she said she would text me. Never got a shower cap and never got a text. Disappointing.

Room spotless, soo clean. Massive ju ior suite,really comfortable and relaxing, cleanera also friendly and lovely. Ebissa and Lillian on front desk both wonderful. The girl who checked us in was awful, didnt tell us how to collext our free welcome drinks, which embaressing when we tried to and the girl told us we had to use the coasters in our room to do so and we were not told this and had to run up to our room to search for them. The girl with the coloured head scarve on reception her behavior was disgusting on several occassions, she did not once lift her head to say hi or bye or anything on several occasions. I also saw her sleeping on the sofa downstairs when i used the bathroom, which i found really unprofessional and should not be allowed, she looked a mess in her clothes and could not be bothered, she clearly hates her job and is not xustomer friendly, this is not the job for her!!.

We stayed on an exploring Seattle trip. Location was good, out of the hustle and bustle, but very walkable. Nice restaurants, bars, and coffee near by as well as grocery. Easy to get rides from apps. Price was great. The onsite bar/restaurant was great! Didn’t have breakfast, but bar food was spot on! Borrowed a giant umbrella on a rainy day. Staff was friendly. Cool vibe in the place and other patrons were friendly as well.

When we returned from the concert, it was incredibly noisy upstairs. You could hear everything. People sounded like they were stomping their way through the ceiling. We had to call the front desk to ask for some assistance there. I will say, they were helpful in that matter and the noise did eventually subside, but it was probably around 12:30 AM before it got quiet.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The rooms were very spacious and the beds and the bedding was divine! My young daughters, especially enjoyed the indoor pool, and we all enjoyed the walk ability and accessibility to the space needle and to all of the other activities near the hotel. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay, and we look forward to returning soon!

My husband and I stayed here and the room was very clean. The bed was super comfortable and we ended up with a view of the space needle. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Checking in was quick and easy. We walked to the climate pledge arena for a concert that evening. The walk was easy and so close. We will be returning.

Pleasant staff, very dog friendly. Comfortable r[oom and bed. Received a voucher for a beer, wine, or soft drink when we checked in. Didn't care for the bar area. The design of its seating areas seemed to focus more on being quirky rather than comfort. Same.for the lobby area. Had the munchies after a late night walk back from Queen Anne. Not many snack offerings in the lobby for purchase other than chips. A few restaurants nearby. Recommend Hagen Cafe for coffee and breakfast. Lots of restaurants in Queen Anne just five to six blocks up the hill. About a 10 minute walk to the Space Needle and Seattle Center. Walked to Pike Place Market in 30 mins. Parking was $42. Could have gotten a spot on Spot Hero two blocks away for half that.

This property was a nice surprise. The property was clean, bright, and comfortable. The accommodations were upscale but intimate. We arrived early for check in expecting to have to kill time until we could get in our room, but our room was ready and they let us go upstairs early. Came to Seattle to primarily go to Chihuly Gardens and Glass and picked The Maxwell based on location. My only negative is that I expected more of a dinner menu.

We have stayed at the Maxwell on Roy St. three times now and it has been great every time. The location is perfect.The Space Needle is very close by. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Pillows are not the greatest but ok. Each room has a fridge, microwave and coffee/ tea maker. They usually have some sort of snack in the afternoon and there is a breakfast area downstairs. Also lots of seating in the lobby which is nice for large groups.

The location is great. We liked how close we were to the armory and the tram. The parking was expensive (as is all parking in Seattle), but we appreciated that it was available and it was secure and convenient. We took advantage of the hotel bar. We appreciated having such a good dining option immediately available to us, especially when dealing with our tired and rambunctious children. The pool was small but it was perfect our little ones to practice swimming. And, finally, it's just such a gorgeous hotel. The wallpaper, the furniture, it's all so pretty and fancy.

Hotel is clean, staff very pleasant and helpful, but noisy, a/c was loud, you could hear all noises from the street. If you want coffee after 12pm you can’t, there is no barista even though 3 people stay behind the bar where the machine is.

We had a king room and it was very spacious and offered all of the amenities we needed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and were very impressed with mostly everything. The pillows were horrible, flat and hard and that was a big bummer for us as it was our first night away after having a baby and we were really looking forward to some great sleep! The bar service was very slow, but the complimentary drink was a nice touch. Parking was very expensive in my opinion. There was a good amount of parking around the hotel, so we regretted paying for parking as we only stayed 1 night.

Overall, good stay. Second visit in two months. Barista staff (Victoria and Isabella) friendly and engaging. Room (356) good, though for us in our seventies, a bit of a walk dragging baggage. Quibbles about bathroom were a loose tile by toilet and low toilet.

3 prickles come to mind all bathroom centered: the toilet should have been in an elementary school and the shower was a fixed head unit that could miss the mark for some and there was a loose tile on the bathroom floor.

My mom and sisters and I very much enjoyed everything about our stay at the Stay Pineapple Maxwell House. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the rooms were spotless and everything smelled so clean. There were lots of little touches that made our stay spectacular.

We had a great stay here and it was a lot nicer than I expected. Rooms were large with plenty of space for suitcases. Excellent bedding and very comfortable beds. Good shower and all very nicely decorated with cute pineapple touches. I loved it! Kids loved it too and we made use of the pool (no hottub though).

I could walk to almost everything I wanted to see except for the airport.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a grab and go breakfast bar and also a restaurant where you can sit down and have breakfast. They have happy hour 4 to 6 at the bar then the bar is open till nine. I definitely will stay there again.

Easy to find and accessible to Seattle Center. Helpful staff. Only real downside is lack of soundproofing. Very little sleep due to baby next door and elephant upstairs.

THIS was out third stay at Maxwell, and find it better each tim. VERY clean. beds are wonderful. Sooo many plug ins for all devices and cpacs. Lol. Has a very friendly unique personality. And so convenient to Downtown and Seattle Ctr.

The beds and bedding super comfy ! Never wanted to get out of bed! My teen loved the hotels decor, they also have bikes you can borrow and umbrellas. A very nice touch are cookies and coffee in the evening. We loved our stay!!!

Great property for me and my 9 year old daughter. We came down for a show at Climate Pledge Arena and found everything was either available at the hotel (we loved the water filling station and pineapple cookies in the afternoon) or easily walkable (restaurants, Seattle center with space needle, chihuly, MOPOP nearby). The hotel has a small pool and workout facility which we appreciated. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. And of course we loved the whole pineapple theme! We would definitely stay again.
