Staff was very helpful when I arrived ahead of check-in! The room very comfortable and clean! The bed very comfy! Only stayed a night but took in all the areas sites on foot from the hotel! It's in a great area! Felt very safe!
- 4/5
No refrigerator in the room, room has smell
- 5/5
I’ll at pineapple 5 again.
- 5/5
Short stay, helpful staff, nice amenities. Great location.
- 4/5
The location was close to Pike Place and the rail. Our room was nice and clean
- 4.5/5
Overall the hotel was great. It was centrally located and easy to walk to Pike's Place Market and the Chihuly museum and Space Needle. There was easy paid parking in their lot. They offered a coupon for free drinks for everyone (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). It was clean and in general comfortable. It was loud in the room at night from city noises which was easily remedied with a sound machine app. The beds were comfortable but were not our style/preference. For two queen beds they gave 4 twin types of comforters so you each could have your own as to not fight with your bedmate - however we all wanted a sheet and the comforters were heavy and kept falling on the floor at night.
- 5/5
Excellent location, staff are very helpful and the bed is very comfortable.
- 5/5
We loved it. Affordable cruise ship terminal shuttle as well.
- 5/5
You must ask ahead of time if you want a fridge in your room. No grab bar in the shower. I would stay again.
- 3.5/5
Location, water bottle, bed and bath The room faced the monorail, which was very audible despite thick glass windows. I also was charged $25 more for my queen room than my reservation showed.
- 4/5
Great location. Walkable to Pike Place market. Quick drive to space needle and climate pledge arena. Bed was comfortable, loved the double blankets. Would skip their valet and spot hero park in lot 14, 1 minute walk to hotel and much more affordable. Only true complaint was lack of mini fridge in room. Area was safe enough, less unhoused folks in the immediate area than nearby.
- 3/5
Room and overall property was not the cleanest, staff were friendly but not service room. The common area needs better cleaning
- 5/5
I booked this room not knowing exactly what to expect.I was trying to find a hotel that was close to the Space Needle, and this one was.The lobby is very unique and enjoyable.William checked us in early, like before 10:00 am.He was very personable and helpful. There is an on-site amenity fee of about $28.It includes two free drinks (alcohol included).Later, a quick Uber to the needle.Actually we also visited the Chihuly Glass and Garden right next door. The metro line terminates at the Space Needle. We jumped on to ride down toward Pike Place Market.Seniors ride for $2.Afterwards we walked back to the hotel.Numerous dining options for dinner. We walked to the Yard House about 5 blocks away.Good food and reasonably priced. Our room had a queen bed.Fun Pineapple coffee cups in the room.We got to keep a complimentary metal Pineapple refillable water bottle. There was a very cute grey and white stuffed dog on our bed (their mascot, I think). They both like and allow pets.It was ours to keep for $25.We took them up on that. The room had all the necessary soaps and lotions. The shower was very nice and warm. The room was clean and had a large flat screen TV.There was also a very unique coffee maker - a Swirl Brewing System. It made some good coffee for us.In the morning we had a lite breakfast right in the hotel.Reasonable prices.I bought 2 Pineapple cups for another $25 total and we checked out.Great experience.Hope we get to come back.Highly recommend this hotel.

- 5/5
Great neighborhood with lots of options for F&B.
- 4/5
Staff were very friendly accommodated an early check-in because it was available with no problem. However, they did not clean room after two days as stated they would.
- 4.5/5
Super cute hotel concept; the bed was amazingly comfy, loved all the pineapple themed amenities! Great staff. Got one free drink, which was nice. They also had a shuttle for a reasonable fee to the cruise ship Terminal. The surrounding area seemed a little dodgy.
- 5/5
Fun hotel, courteous staff, convenient location, good amenities, including coffee in the lobby.
- 5/5
Surprisingly quiet. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good walking distance to many attractions. Unique vibe.
- 5/5
Property is in a great location, clean, spacious room, with friendly and professional staff. NA
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
Great!
- 3/5
The hotel is fine, and in a good convenient downtown location. However our bathroom was dirty, in particular the shower with hair and mold. The hotel only refunded the amenity fee… overall it was ok, but of our entire trip this was the most expensive hotel we stayed at and the least clean.
- 5/5
Everything was good 🤗
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 3.5/5
It was a fun space. Dog friendly and the staff were great. There were a lot of homeless drug adults in the area. It made it uncomfortable when walking down to Pikes Market and the water.
- 5/5
Building is old and need updates. But very cozy. Wish there was food cooked to order. However, it was not far to find a place to eat. I will definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Great customer services and the rooms were decent
- 5/5
I loved that the hotel had so much character, was in a great location and had really helpful staff. The room we stayed in was a good size, clean and really comfortable. Although you’re in a city, the room was really quiet and you couldn’t hear much outside noise. The staff on reception were really welcoming and gave us some great food recommendations. We felt very central for doing the main tourist attractions like the Space Needle and Pike Place Market, which we could walk to. We had a car which was easy and safe to park in the hotel’s underground car park. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
- 5/5
Cute and funky boutique hotel in the heart of Seattle.

- 5/5
Amazing hotel! The amenities were fantastic.
- 5/5
Amazing location, comfortable beds, awesome staff. Just the best all around, would stay again.
- 5/5
Great place to stay.
- 4/5
Everything was good but we were a little disappointed there wasn’t a restaurant/bar inside the hotel like the one in Portland other than that it’s a good hotel to stay
- 5/5
Water pressure on the shower is freaking awesome and the room is very clean!
- 2.5/5
Dirt in the shower, bathroom door got stuck everytime you closed the door, added an amenity fee. Don't know what for and was not disclosed. And added a parking fee that was not disclosed.
- 5/5
Staff were exceptional and the amenities were top notch.
- 4/5
Clean room
- 3/5
All good
- 4/5
The hotel seems a little run down, and sparse on the amenities. I had expected more from a StayPineapple property, but found this very low budget feeling. Would not stay again.
- 5/5
The location was one of the biggest highlights. We were able to walk to many of Seattle's popular attractions, including Pike Place Market, the waterfront piers, the Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, Chihuly Garden and Glass, Seattle Aquarium, and plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. It made exploring the city easy without needing to drive. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bed was especially cozy, and after long days of sightseeing, it was nice to come back and relax. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made check-in and check-out quick and hassle-free. One feature we really enjoyed was the complimentary afternoon pineapple treats and coffee, along with the hotel's cheerful atmosphere. It added a little extra touch that made our stay memorable. If you're looking for a centrally located hotel with comfortable accommodations, friendly service, and easy access to Seattle's top attractions, Staypineapple Hotel FIVE is a great choice. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Seattle.
- 5/5
I was traveling solo and I felt safe. The staff was great and I love the little pineapple theme they have going. Was near the convention center where I was attending flower show. It’s quite a way from the train station, but you can always Uber or take the bus.
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean and had good parking. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Very good... to top it off , suggest a hot breakfast cafeteria
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay. Conveniently located. Within walking distance to restaurants, public transportation and attractions. Lobby was welcoming with lots of seating. Games were fun. Wish bar had been open.Staff friendly and helpful. Housekeeping excellent. Bed very comfortable. AC / Heat were easy to operate.
- 5/5
Great place to stay and close to everything. .
- 5/5
If you’re staying here, you’re really missing out. Not only was room so nice and clean and spacious. The bedding was super soft and comfortable. The amenities were so fun every day they had cookies for you when you came back free water bottle that was reusable. Really comfy robes just a great place and super great location.
- 5/5
We had an Amazing stay before our Cruise. It was located close to everything. Staff was excellent.
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff was wonderful. Only negative was it was hard to get a cup of coffee because the employee was either on break or closing shop.
- 5/5
I have one negative. If you are a larger person you may not be able to get into the shower. It's tiny and the door opens inwards so some folks might have trouble getting around the door and into or out of the shower.
- 5/5
We had a great stay with a nice room, friendly staff & great location!
- 3/5
The room could be cleaned much better. And should smell better

This place by far exceeded our expectations!! We liked it so much we changed reservations on a future trip to New York to this brand. Will be back again!!!
- 4/5
Clean and helpful staff! The property is close to almost every landmark in downtown Seattle.
- 3/5
Need more hooks in the bathroom and need more dressers.
- 4/5
loved that they had sparkling water on tap, free, pineapple, cookies, games in the lobby, 24 hour staff didn’t like the fact that my room did not have a refrigerator in it

- 5/5
Big king room. Well designed, comfy bed, nice staff. Nice little gym. Center of town. Great value!
- 3/5
Interesting hotel- concept was good but everything was an additional cost! (Snacks, games, etc). And the merch was too much- selling stuffed animals and mattresses?! Location was convenient though.
- 5/5
This is a basic but well kept and well functioning hotel with great value for downtown Seattle. Seattle is very expensive and this hotel offers what you need for a comfortable, well-serviced stay for less than the average downtown hotel. The property was clean, everything worked. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby offers free coffee in the later afternoon, and you get a free drink voucher to use during your stay for an alcoholic beverage if desired. Nice little touches. The fitness centre is very very basic but offers an option for a light workout that saves you doing a costly drop-in at a larger gym. The only downside perhaps for early to-bed types or late-risers is the Monorail runs right in front of the property til about midnight and starts around 6-7am, and it’s a bit noisy if your room is on the front of the building and you’re a light sleeper.
- 5/5
Pineapples are fun anytime!!
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 5/5
Enjoyed the property so close to walk to everything. The staff was helpful and accommodating.
- 5/5
Great location, very clean rooms and very helpful staff. I was a little disappointed to find out that the restaurant and bar was not open. That was not listed anywhere when I made the reservation, but that would be my only complaint.
- 4/5
The staff was very helpful and I just wish they had an ice machine instead of zip lock baggies of ice in a freezer
- 5/5
This property was amazing!! Let us check in at 8 am after an early flight, staff was great!! And the beds were the best!!
- 5/5
Clean safe place...friendly staff...nice amenities
- 5/5
This is a fun and super clean hotel with super nice employees! It’s close to the action of pike place market and love the water bottle and unlimited still or bubbly water! Fun pineapple atmosphere:-)

- 5/5
Excellent place, ubication perfect and every staff person was excellent
- 5/5
Firmes y cómodos.Los empleados super atentos
- 5/5
The location is perfect — easy walking distance to many places. The rooms were clean, and there were four of us. We were pleasantly surprised by the unique bedding setup. We all slept well, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend this stay. Thanks, Pineapple!
- 4/5
Enjoyed our stay at the Pineapple. Very friendly helpful staff, smooth and easy check in/out. Asked for a fridge 2 hours before check in & the staff responded immediately at no extra charge. Incredibly comfy beds & pillows!! Bathroom was a bit small. Great location to Pike Place Market & restaurants. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a fun Seattle experience.
- 5/5
the staff was very friendly. the two free coaster drinks was a nice added touch
- 4/5
Helpful staff. Clean room and bathroom Air conditioning is ok, comfortable and easy to adjust. Excellent dining options around the area.
- 4/5
Nice cheaper solution
- 5/5
Room was comfy and staff were super friendly
- 5/5
Fun and funky! Great staff, great communication,l. It was my daughter’s birthday so I messaged them and they left her a gift, a birthday balloon and card —-amazing! Would stay again.
- 4/5
Nice hotel with a fun vibe, friendly staff, and some unique perks and amenities. Had fun playing Scrabble on their giant board. Two small complaints: The lighting in the room wasn't great, and there was no one staffing the cafe when we tried to buy breakfast one morning.
- 5/5
Excellent customer service, spacious rooms, and very comfortable beds. Family-friendly with fun extras like games and complimentary cookies. Great location—overall a wonderful stay!
- 4/5
There were only no more than five other cars parked in the ramp. Parking prices were high though.
- 5/5
This is a boutique urban hotel. Clever funky design and comfortable beds. Not a lot of frills but definitely had what I wanted and needed. Staff was excellent and extremely helpful. Room was very clean. Did not use parking or airport shuttle but did take light rail which goes directly to airport and is about 4 blocks from hotel. Hotel is within walking distance of many major points of interest. Would stay there again for sure.
- 5/5
Room was very clean; very central location.
- 5/5
I can’t say enough good things about this place. Location is perfect, cool funky decor, fabulous staff, tons of little free gifts, bikes, comfy beds. Would recommend this place to anyone.
- 5/5
Best location to get to everywhere!
- 5/5
great!
- 5/5
Stay was perfect. We will book again in the future!
- 5/5
Wish I would have known they had their own parking but that may have been my fault to not look closer.
- 5/5
Front desk is amazing! Great stay, clean property and comfortable beds
- 5/5
Ariel at front desk was really friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the Pac Man Arcade game in the lobby. I was playing for about an hour reliving my childhood memories. Surprisingly the espresso and refrigerated pastries were really delicious. BTW, did I mention the espresso and special cafe drinks were free. Loved it so much I told my friends who will be visiting Seattle soon to stay there. All the Seattle highlights are all in walking distance from Hotel 5: Stay Pineapple.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel with a wonderful staff! I had a conference the same day as check-in and they were kind enough to let me check in several hours before so that I could prepare for it accordingly. Also the decorations and theme are really well put together.
- 5/5
That being said i would stay here again and recommend it highly. Rooms are clean. Beds are super comfortable( european style- two duvets on each queen bed. Location is perfect.
- 5/5
Great staff and location
- 5/5
Rooms need a refrigerator
- 4/5
Friendly staff, good location and nice showers!
- 5/5
Very lovely hotel with amazing staff. Very cute and welcoming, I loved it!
- 3/5
I am struggling to write this review as the staff was nice, the room was comfortable and parking was fantastic. There were, however, things that happened that were not right. We were kicked out of our room mid afternoon by a swat team with battle gear and guns. There was apparently a “domestic” situation in the room across the hall which explained the yelling and screaming from the night before. We were told to find something to do while the situation was resolved. Then, my roommates nightgown went missing. We literally tore the room apart looking for it but it was nowhere to be found. We did not have cleaning service and no one should have been in our room. Super odd. Add to that the lack of food that had been advertised on the website, and the weed smell in the hall, I can’t say I would stay here again.
- 3/5
The ADA spot was easy to access. Our air conditioning unit made a TON of noise when it kicked on. Someone in one of the rooms around us was smoking weed, which made our room smell like it. The sound of the TV next door also came through the wall. The coffee from the barista was pretty bad, and the breakfast/restaurant area was closed. SWAT came, and we were forced to be out of the room for a while with no end time. One of the elevators was broken. The free drink and one water bottle in the room were nice, and the staff were super friendly.
- 5/5
All I can say is super worth it, The rooms winner! Guys try to stay in this amazing hotel I love their Pineapple Idea and design. The bed super comfortable and the pillows are not cheap but they are very nice, Exactly what you would need for a good night sleep after tired day of fun or work. 10/10 I wish we stayed longer… Thank you to the beautiful experienced.
- 5/5
Downsides... no breakfast / restaurant/ bar
- 4/5
Parking was expensive. The amenities fee was too much and I didn’t feel as though I really got any amenities.
- 5/5
What a delightful little place right downtown Seattle
- 5/5
Such a cute hotel with great amenities! My first time staying at a pineapple property and I will definitely look for one in other cities I travel to
- 5/5
Great hotel with lovely staff! Highly recommend.
- 5/5
The location was great! We walked everywhere: Farmers Market, Olympic Sculpture Park, the Space Needle, etc. staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
First of all, I'm sure this isn't an every day or forever thing, but at check-in we got to PLAY WITH A PUPPY. Also, the rooms were cute and the beds were delicious. Great staff and location. Highly recommend!!
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. Location convenient.
- 4/5
Very enjoyable
- 4/5
Aaaaaaaaaa
- 5/5
heat and AC were great, the comforters were cozy but kind of extra warm. We didn't use the parking .
- 4/5
The location was great. The hotel was very clean and friendly staff. One thing that I would like to see would be in the bathrooms a modern toilet rather than the Barbie house toilet. For a 6 foot 190 pound person, It’s almost too small to even try to sit on. Other than that, it was a great place.
- 5/5
So close to downtown! Staff was amazing!!
- 5/5
I can't say enough about our experience at the Staypineapple, Hotel Five. Initially, I was hesitant to book after reading some of the reviews, but ultimately our stay could not have been more perfect! The hotel is centrally located to all major attractions and a short walk to Pike Market. Lots of food options nearby if you happen to get stuck in the hotel due to the weather (our luck one day of our trip). The hotel provides a high level of security and my family and I felt safe our entire stay. Biggest highlight if you're traveling as a family, they have a big play room with board games, video games and a wall-sized Scrabble board (which became our night cap ritual every night). Thank you to all of the wonderful staff for the exceptional professionalism.
- 5/5
Staff was great good location
- 4/5
Good Spot
- 3/5
Wonderful staff. $50 parking, $28 “amenities fee”, and a bit of a party-vibe (loud guests until 3am…hotel should enforce quiet hours) made the experience a little less enjoyable.
- 5/5
The hotel had a nice funky vibe beginning with the games in the lobby, the bike you can borrow and an amazing front desk staff. They were super helpful throughout my trip, suggesting restaurants and accommodating my requests with a great attitude.
- 5/5
This was a fun hotel and the staff was very nice. Beds and pillows were super comfortable. We would be happy to stay there again
- 4/5
Cute place for a night stay near Arena.
- 5/5
Room are very clean, parking is secure
- 5/5
Great location. Staff extremely friendly. Loved the overall theme.
- 5/5
Front desk had great customer service. Let us drop off our bags while we went out and explored. Gave us great advice on getting to the needle and the market. Answered any questions we had. Will return
- 4/5
Everything is OK!
- 5/5
Cool vibe, super friendly staff, graft ate and omg the beds couldn’t be better!
- 5/5
The staff was absolutely amazing. The hotel was extremely unique. We loved our stay. If I had one complaint, it’s the mattresses are just too firm, but the bedding is amazing.
- 4/5
hotel was good for the price.
- 5/5
The check in staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. It set us up perfectly for our trip. We were here for a college visit and the hotel staff who knew about it wanted updates on the trip and our thoughts on the campus. Clean, clean, clean! And the beds were so comfortable it made it difficult to get up in the mornings.
- 4/5
Fabulous stay! Kind staff. Safe entry (needed a room key to enter the building). The only reason i rated it a 4/5 is the $25/ day free for location on top of the daily taxes, etc.
- 5/5
I love this place! We stay here whenever we are in Seattle. I let them know it was my husband’s birthday and they left a wonderful birthday surprise complete with a balloon! I really enjoy this place and it’s a great location
- 5/5
Staff is great. Parking was good room's nice everything's great
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
Great spot, staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were good size and kept nice and clean.
- 5/5
Check in with a breeze, arrived into town, was able to get an early check-in. Don’t recall the ladies name that assisted me with my check-in but
- 5/5
Clean rooms, great amenities, and close to everything.
- 4/5
PARKING DAILY IS EXPENSIVE $50/DAY
- 5/5
Top notch staff and a great location.
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Outstanding hotel. Definitely will be back!!
- 4/5
The room was clean and they do provide nice fluffy towels and robes. My only complaint is that there were issues with a lot of the outlets. There was a charging station on the bedside table that would not work and only one outlet on one lamp would work if I had my charger placed just right, otherwise I had to plug in to the direct wall outlet in the bathroom.
- 5/5
Loves the location and staff were very friendly.
- 5/5
Perfect location for downtown Seattle visits. Be sure and hit up the coffee shop in the morning.
- 4/5
No review
- 4/5
Clean rooms, friendly staff and accomodating, just wished breakfast was more available.
- 3/5
There is no pool at this time or a hot tub. The bar is being renovated ...
- 5/5
Place was amazing! Definitely wanting to come back soon.
- 1/5
I booked my reservation intending to stay at the Maxwell location. However, the reservation was somehow processed under Hotel Five instead. When I arrived at Maxwell and realized the issue, I immediately made a new reservation there so I could check in. I did this in good faith, assuming the original booking would be refunded since the system appears to have placed it at the wrong property. I did not use the Hotel Five reservation and only stayed at Maxwell. I'll be pursuing this further.
- 5/5
Rooms are very clean, halls are clean. Underground gated parking is a HUGE plus, many local stores, pikes place is a 13 min walk away and honestly its a fantastic spot. I'll be coming back!
- 1/5
Our room floor had scratches on it. Some of our sheets were slightly dirty.
- 5/5
Great location to all things AWS!

- 5/5
Great hotel — friendly helpful staff — great location
- 5/5
overall it’s great
- 5/5
Staff are friendly and helpful, I love the complimentary drinks
- 4/5
We have stayed here several times over about eight years. Really nice staff, clean rooms. Love that they allow dogs. Great walking location to Whole Foods, restaurants, the Seattle waterfront. It's pretty noisy at night with the local bar denizens stumbling around at 2am. Also there tend to be people in their side doorway using substances there. One time there was poop in the doorway. Also, the hotel is is starting to look a little worn down. Chipped paint in the bathroom, a chunk of the desk broken off. Might be time for an upgrade. It's always been one of the best deals around but we're not so sure we want to go back due to the concerns I mention.
- 5/5
Had a last minute staycation and pineapple hotel was there for nice comfort and attentive staff !! Thank you folks and thanks you for having rad personalities !

Tv did not work. Staff wasn’t helpful. Shower drain was plugged. Their garage height checker wasn’t accurate and scrapped our truck, not up to code.

- 5/5
Great service, rooms are great location is great

This is a fun, quirky hotel. I've stayed here twice. The best part is the luxurious bedding and helpful staff. The rooms are quiet and there was plenty of hot water. It is also conveniently located downtown.

- 5/5

- 5/5
Amazing staff, easy to check in and out. Very unique experience! Would recommend to anyone on a quick or long trip. They have all amenities PLUS great bedding.
- 5/5
A quick weekend getaway near downtown Seattle. This place was wonderful. Clean rooms, very attentive staff that was informative and friendly. Great location, with many famous sites within a decent walking distance.
- 5/5
Parking was expensive .
- 5/5
Great place! Close to everything. I'd definitely stay here again.

- 5/5
Location and nice staff
- 5/5
Highly recommend!!
- 5/5
Best staff, clean rooms and perfect location
- 5/5
Wonderful boutique hotel. The staff is exceptional. I will be staying at this hotel again.
- 5/5
Nice room. Very friendly staff.
- 5/5
The desk staff were all amazing! Accommodating, friendly and helpful. The rooms were adequately clean and stocked. The beds were comfortable. The location is great for walking. Would highly recommend this location!
- 5/5
Nice beds
- 3/5
Bring a small car or you cant fit into parking.
- 5/5
Great room and rates
- 3/5
One of the pillow cases had stains. Neither lamps by the bed worked they did not turn on.
- 5/5
Great.
- 5/5
The staff, especially Amara was wonderful. The guest service was the best I have ever received.
- 5/5
All the staff were all very nice and accommodating, Amaya the manager was especially lovely throughout my stay. Room was clean and comfortable
- 5/5
Did not require parking..
- 2/5
I didn’t know about the hiding feed
- 4/5
Clean room, loved being able to use umbrellas, would have liked to have a fridge in room but otherwise, great stay.
- 4/5
Good location close to everything.
- 5/5
Super fun and excellent location with underground on-site parking. Great deal, 10/10 would stay again!
- 3/5
The hotel itself is nice and modern. It was clean and easy to get too with plenty of parking. The only issue was the beds. I’ve stayed at Pineapple in the past and the beds at a different location in Seattle were SO MUCH SOFTER. The beds at this location were very firm and the pillows instantly went flat when lying down. So if your expecting the real Pineapple experience these beds don’t do it!
- 5/5
Best beds in the city
- 2/5
Put 3 holds of $300 on my credit card, extra $52 fee for parking, the hotel is mediocre, felt like a renovated hostel. Good location. Will probably not stay again.
- 5/5
Very funky and cool with a good location.
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff was friendly, nice little coffee shop downstairs and a free drink provided at check in.
- 4/5
Courteous staff
- 5/5
The staff and amenities are amazing! I loved the afternoon treat, the free water station, the design of the rooms, etc. Really a nice place to stay and the beds are very comfy.
- 5/5
We loved the cute decor and convenient location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Parking was not hard to locate upon arrival and the garage wasn't crowded and seemed safe. Area surrounding also safe for big city. Fridge upon request.
- 5/5
i didn't eat breakfast
- 5/5
Yes
- 2/5
When we checked in they clerk said there was an additional $20+ amenitity fee. This was not on the order and was not on the email sent from Expedia. The clerk said they would take it off the bill. When I checked out this morning, a different clerk tried to bill my credit card for the amenity fee again. This feels like fraud.
- 5/5
Great location! Friendly staff. Roomy room.
- 4/5
Nice modern hotel room, the atmosphere was very chill and the game room was a nice clean place to hangout.
- 5/5
Central to everything. Such a great location.
- 4/5
Nice clean updated room. Staff was very helpful
- 5/5
Loved the 5th ave Suite! Sp spacious, shower was amazing! They even have a Bluetooth built into the mirror
- 3/5
I booked two rooms with a tub, but there were no tubs. Everything else was good. Parking is pretty expensive.
- 5/5
We were so grateful when they surprised us with early check in, especially since we arrived about five hours early. I was honestly really impressed with this hotel for the price point. Everything felt very clean, updated, and comfortable. The complimentary drink was such a nice touch and a great way to start our evening. The bedding was also amazing, super soft and high quality. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in Seattle.
- 5/5
Wonderful staff!
- 5/5
Great location & staff were amazing
- 5/5
Sup
- 5/5
I loved my stay
- 5/5
yes staff were awesome
- 5/5
What a fun place!
- 5/5
I will stay here every time if available. Everything is so walkable
- 4/5
However, there were a few things that made the experience less enjoyable. The shower pressure was terrible and the temperature of the shower was just okay. The lighting in the hotel room was also a bit strange because it was fairly dim. Also, the temperature in the room did not seem to match what was stated on the thermostat.
- 5/5
Great location. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
- 5/5
Perfect location if you’re going to the Moore theater or space needle or the market!! Clean room, super comfy beds, my kids loved it and loved the little wolf stuffy they got, the staff was super nice and recommended food, activities for kids and helped us avoid walking down any sketchy streets :) as a mom with two kids I appreciated that! We loved it and will definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
Staff were all very personable and helpful. Room small but comfy. Only complaint was shower took more than five minutes for hot water to warm up.
- 5/5
Staff were nice, room was clean, great spot to stay.
- 4/5
Nice staff and thoughtful amenities… and solid choice for a stay. I would stay again.
- 5/5
Clean room and friendly staff
- 5/5
Clean nice hotel
- 5/5
Room was very clean , perfect for our 1 night 2 day trip for our concert - front desk let us check in early and were super nice and helpful! We love staying at Stay Pineapples !
- 5/5
The staff were amazing, and friendly. The room was super clean and comfortable. This was are second stay and we will be back for a Huskies game next year. Thank-you to all the staff !!!
- 4/5
I did try to get some work done in the common area before catching my train home, but it was a bit noisy and hard to concentrate. There are a few spots in the neighborhood that might be better suited for working if you need a quiet space. Overall, a pleasant stay with great staff and a convenient location.
- 4/5
The service/front desk folks were great and room comfy and clean. Only issue is the self-parking is pricy at $42 a night and a resort fee $25 for WiFi. It’s a little tricky finding the building as it’s right under the rail tram and split lanes. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Friendly and attentive staff! Made our stay very pleasant! The double duvet is a game changer!
- 5/5
Great place to stay!!! Workers are friendly & helpful too..😃
- 5/5
The entire staff was abundantly welcoming. They provided us free bikes, answered all our questions, and even held our bags after we checked out while we waited for our flight. The bedding was luxurious. The robes were the most comfortable I've ever worn. I'm going to book at Staypineapple whenever the city I'm going to has it.
- 5/5
Great experience. Would stay here again. Safe area, very walkable. Short distances to all sites, Space needle, Downtown, Pike Place, all within about 10-15 min. The Amazon spheres are a block over, plenty of cafes & restaurants. The room was comfortable, clean and every staff member was great!
- 5/5
Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, and good location!
- 4/5
The room was average. The area was accessible to many things. Staff was amazing. I was allowed to check in a little earlier and if you are there earlier than check-in, you can call front desk and they’re really nice about you. Possibly leaving your luggage there till check-in. They went above and beyond on an item that we left in the room to get it back to us, and very nice on the phone.
- 3/5
The reason I gave three stars was some issues with the room. The TV remote did not work most of the time, the TV would randomly shut off for no reason. The tech tried to fix it but could not. I think what made it worse was the reason "it gets used a lot". there was no attempt to replace the remote which was the biggest issue. the other issue was the shower. the door did not close all the way so when you got out the floor had water on it. a lot of water.
- 4/5
Nice place but there's no fridge, the bed comes with instructions, and $42 a night to park in a lot that requires ten point turns to get into the spot is a bit ridiculous
- 5/5
They took the time to put rose petals a card, two sparkling vodka, pineapple drinks, and popcorn in our room for a fifth anniversary was very welcoming and very clean
- 4/5
Very nice property. Excellent staff minus one FD person, which in my experience is uncommon for Pineapple. Incredible bedding as always. Great location.
- 5/5
We stay at Stay Pineapple hotels any chance we get! Super dog friendly, which makes your stay even more relaxing. Great staff, great facility!
- 5/5
Absolutely fantastic all around amazing friendly staff, clean wonderful room. If I could afford bringing the whole naked pineapple experience home I totally would, the best part is you can!
- 4/5
Fun and hip. Extra fees were a bit surprising, but staff was super helpful and location was perfect.
- 5/5
Staff was great. Room clean. Not a big fan of the split comforter, and miss the days when you got a top sheet (comforter too hot, what do you do?)
- 5/5
Clean and fun rooms! Staff was lovely, easy location, parking and comfy bed!
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
Second stay - will return
- 5/5
Staff was amazing and really nice

- 5/5
Great staff and cool hotel
- 5/5
Clean comfortable room.
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Cool hotel that met my needs plus provided some fun. Complimentary beverage and cookies was a nice touch. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only wish my room was not right on 5th Ave.
- 5/5
Greatvolace to stay.
- 5/5
Secure parking but not great for oversized vehicles
- 5/5
We have stayed in most Pineapple Hotels around the country and this is 4/4 in the Seattle area. Karin and Amara were so cheery and friendly when we checked in, thank you! We are on on 29th anniversary and Karin had set up rose pedals and Champaign in our room when we arrived which created an amazing experience. The room temp was ideal the whole stay and the TVs allowed us to log into our Netflix and other streaming apps. We will be back.
- 5/5
Always great staff, only hotel we stay at in SEA
- 5/5
The room has everything you need! Great atmosphere and quiet neighborhood
- 3/5
Convenient location, no daily housekeeping service, no open bar service, untidy lobby area, unfriendly check in staff.
- 5/5
When we arrived at this facility, we were a little too early to check in. However, they were very accommodating, and our room happened to be ready! We were able to park our car for the night. The hotel is very walkable to many of the locations downtown, So we didn’t have to use our car, which was great! The room itself was very spacious and the bedding was amazing! We had a king room and we each had our own sheet/blanket set up! Very comfortable. They also offered us a free cocktail in the evening or we could use it for the morning, for coffee or food of our choice. I would stay at this hotel again if I ever go back to Seattle.
- 5/5
Location great, employees helpful, bedroom comfortable and great amenities.
- 4/5
Staff friendly. Great location.
- 5/5
Hotel staff was very welcoming, allowed us early check in and the amenities are great. It’s a nice location. The bed was comfy and the robes are a great bonus. We would stay here again.
- 5/5
Clean, safe quiet and convenient. Very friendly staff
- 5/5
Property and staff were nice. The area felt a bit dodgy though convenient and walkable.
- 5/5
Armana was fantastic when we checked in. She was very friendly and accommodating. Probably the best reception I have received checking into a hotel. And I have stayed in over 100 hotels in my lifetime.
- 5/5
Great (fun) hotel sure to put a smile on your face. It's about 6 blocks to shopping and Pikes Market place. Very walkable. Staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. Def will stay here again.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly & helpful staff, walking distance for restaurants and sites.
- 5/5
Very nice stay good rooms and fun game area
- 4/5
This hotel is conveniently located, and walkable to all touristy sites. The room itself was good, had very comfortable beds and cozy duvets, which was exactly what was needed after long days of exploring the city. If there was any things that did not meet my standards would be that that although the room appeared to be clean, the floors are NOT. Our socks were filthy black after walking on the floors. (We found the nearest Target and bought slippers) Instead of just sweeping, a good wash of the whole room should be done with every room clean. Upon check out, we used our token for our free drinks. The barista did a bang up job making our chai and special coffee. Delicious!!
- 5/5
Walking distance to all the restaurants/shops, friendly staff and clean/comfortable bed. What’s not to love? Would stay here again
- 4/5
Clean room, but hard wood floors with no rugs. Staff were friendly and helpful. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants.
- 5/5
Awesome hotel downtown with a professional and friendly staff. Great rooms and perks. I cant wait to stay again
- 5/5
Nothing
- 4/5
Everything was fine until a change was made to my card $ 28.87 and i don't know why.
- 2/5
Close walking to all popular downtown area
- 5/5
Very Clean, comfortable, pleasant staff, convenient location. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!
- 3/5
Location was great, close to pike, space needle and many restaurants. Rooms were small, dark, uncomfortable comforter due to European style, shower pressure was great, sink slowly drained and heater super loud so we had problems sleeping. Wouldn’t book this hotel next time
- 3/5
Overall, it wasn't bad, but it was too loud to sleep. It's hard to say that the cleaning is well done. However, it's a good point for tourists because the location is good. And there was no explanation for the parking fee of $55 when making a reservation. It seems difficult to visit again. The staff was kind.
- 4/5
Didn't feel safe after 6pm
- 5/5
The staff is the most friendly and helpful I’ve ever experienced
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was great and hotel location very convenient! Only suggestion is adding a mini-fridge in the room, other than that great place!
- 3/5
Ehhhh
- 4/5
It was good.
- 5/5
Walking distance to stadiums. Decent dining options near by. Free WiFi.
- 4/5
Staff are friendly and willing, but a bit more knowledge of transport services would be good. A minor issue, the room coffee maker (Keurig) didn’t work, and a duvet cover needed to be cleaned. Housekeeping was very responsive however. Walking times to pikes market and space needle are a bit optimistic.
- 4/5
Bedding is great. People are great. Decor is mid.
- 5/5
Super clean and staff was also really friendly. Good location to get to a bunch of different things I wanted to do. Would highly recommend for anyone staying in the downtown area!
- 5/5
Great hotel, convenient to shops, restaurants, the harbor and museum. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable
- 4/5
All the attractions are conveniently located -walkable.
- 1/5
Best deal I couls find close was over 300 a night in seattle. Once I get in the lobby im charged for amenities and a deposit which was an added 300..the deposit only being 100. The remote for the tv was dead , the ice was in bags zip sealed..this didnt seem safe. There waa also no small fridge.... And then I find out they charge me parking on top of the huge price. Oh , its okay because they gave us 1 free drink..complimentary of course....
- 5/5
Nice location and excellent staff
- 5/5
Free coffee, a free drink free cookie had shuttle service to the dock Nice lobby Friendly staff, very relaxing
- 5/5
Everything was amazing and the staff was very friendly
- 3/5
our toilet got clogged and they had no maintenance staff or
- 5/5
Very nice front desk staff. Easy and fast check-in. Great rooms with comfortable beds. Very walkable and close to everything.
- 5/5
The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful to guests.
- 4/5
Beds are different. More like sleeping bags instead of the usual bedspread. We found it comical.
- 5/5
Cool funky and fun hotel. Nice amenities and location.
- 5/5
Desk staff is amazing and the little details are great. Super cute!
- 5/5
I like the attitude and attentiveness of the staff. The room was comfortable and I liked the central location to the attractions in Seattle. Everything was within walking distance of the hotel. We would definitely stay there again.
- 3/5
Very expensive for the type of hotel. Stayed at the Dossier in downtown Portland for half the price. Dossier was excellent. Staypinapple felt like more motel 8. Mediocre rooms, good bedding, clean rooms, but still didn’t feel like an upscale hotel at $500 per night. Will not return based on price and value. One great thing about this place, was that the staff at the front desk were excellent. It’s also walkable to the Pike Place and Space Needle, but then so are a lot of others hotels.
- 5/5
Great location and resonable price. Nikki, Niecy, and Gabby were all excellent
- 4/5
I was hot sleeping. The comforter was nice, but I like a sheet. The puff was too much bedding.
- 4/5
Our
- 4/5
The location is very convenient. Walkable to almost all downtown attractions. However sometimes do feel a little bit uncomfortable walk around the area in the early morning or late night if you are a solo traveler.
- 4/5
Good Central location. Easy to walk to Market and Space Needle. Staff very Friendly. Love the free reusable water bottles they provide. Fun game room to come and hangout after a long day of exploring Seattle.
- 5/5
Great hotel! Staff was so friendly and helpful. Perfect for before or after a cruise bc there is a shuttle that takes you to the piers. Would definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
A bit hot in room set temp at 67-68
- 4/5
Very cute lobby.
- 5/5
Great location
- 4/5
Hotel itself was super fun, clean and very friendly. Unfortunately I didn’t get any sleep the 2 nights I was there. The hotel is pet friendly and a dog barked for a solid hour at 2am. The desk was very good about moving us the next day to a different floor. Highly recommend William at the Front desk. 2nd night drunk people in the hall so again no sleep for quite some time. Gave 4 stars because this was not the hotels fault but understand the hotel skews younger and it’s very noisy. Excellent location though for walking around downtown Seattle and hitting all the major attractions such as Pikes market, space needle and Chihuly glass. Onsite parking but $46 per day
- 5/5
Very friendly and beautiful design, and clean
- 5/5
Friendly staff. We could easily walk to all the places we wanted to go (Space Needle and Pike Place Market).
- 4/5
Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and responsive. But probably the best feature was how quiet the immediate area was, considering it was in easy walking distance to much busier areas downtown: Seattle Center, Pike Place, waterfront, etc. Tons of restaurants nearby, too. It was great to just leave the car parked for our stay.
- 4/5
Nice place, and nice area. One of the hotel’s elevators was down and tried to fix it on Friday, but still down to one Saturday morning.
- 5/5
We had a great stay! Would definitely stay again!
- 5/5
Great hotel stay!
- 3/5
It was an ok hotel. Expensive for what you get, but that is all of downtown Seattle. Pretty stock standard room. Some staff were friendly and others weren’t. I’d try and find somewhere else if heading back to Seattle
- 5/5
excellent location
- 5/5
It was great
- 5/5
We came for our mini honeymoon, and the hotel went above and beyond to make it special. They surprised us with roses on the bed, champagne, and even candy ring pops—it was the cutest touch and meant so much to us. We’ll definitely be staying here every time we come to Seattle. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe, clean, and thoughtful place to stay with top-notch service!
- 5/5
Love this place, love the amenities and quirky little things it offers. Only suggestion is get the other elevator working and please install some AC in the lobby and hallways. Still not enough of an issue, but definitely needed.
- 5/5
Cool and quirky
- 2/5
All power unexpectedly turned off around 11p in our room when we were ready to go to sleep. Luckily none of us were in the shower!! It was very inconvenient, esp traveling with a senior, to pack up in the dark having only our phone lights to see, and then transfer rooms. It was a restless night that impacted our next day sightseeing events. First room was dusty and dingy, second room slightly brighter and better. Front desk was apologetic and could’ve helped ease our annoyance by offering to compensate us without me having to ask next morning.
- 3/5
I went to front desk and said I needed fresh towels and more coffee in the morning before heading to explore. Got back after 9pm and had to call to get my fresh towels and coffee. After checking out I received two 24.99 amenity service fee. I wasn’t aware of extra charges. I bit of a let down. Only one elevator worked. Husband had to call 911 as he encountered a crack head unresponsive in the street near hotel.
- 3/5
great location but no refrigerator
- 4/5
Staff were very friendly. Suite was clean and spacious.
- 5/5
Only bad thing i can say is the side we were on had traffic which was noisy.
- 5/5
Convenient location. Nice hotel and friendly staff.
- 3/5
The elevators were not working for most of my stay. I am also not a fan of the amenity fee that is charged per day.
- 5/5
Excellent!
- 5/5
Like the complimentary drinks upon arrival, and the breakfast stand with coffees and warm sandwiches. Beds with separate duvets works very, very well. We may adopt that habit at home.
- 5/5
This place surprised me. Everything was spot on. Staff are attentive and positive. Complimentary drinks, cafe on site. Great spot to stay in Seattle!!
- 5/5
Great hotel, great location!
- 5/5
What really made this hotel stand out was the staff! I have never came across such a great team! They go beyond service! They are so nice, even the manager! Two employees really stood out. I was having trouble downloading a Groupon and Renee stopped what she was doing and helped me. Her co-worker gladly helped her with what she was doing. Willam was one of the most remarkable people we have run across in all of our travels! He was personable, kind, thoughtful and helpful! This company is very lucky to have him! He needs a promotion and a raise! The hotel also gifts you a metal water bottle with your room. They have a water bottle refill system in the lobby (save the planet on more wasted plastic bottles). They have a dog benefit program. They have the best towels I have ever had at a hotel! I loved the pineapple motiff. I am hopeful that the intent behind it was/is “Hospitality” and not some other symbol but we did not sense any swinging going on. The hotel was located in a great location! All in all, we had a great stay!
- 5/5
Great location with a fun, eclectic vibe throughout the property. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
What a cool place to stay. Close to everything and such a welcoming vibe. Pineapple cookies at check in to the welcome beverage everything was amazing. Staff are beyond welcoming and accommodating. TV wasn't working so the front desk agent came up. They couldn't fix it so they sent someone else and we were in business. Beds are beyond heavenly. We only took the elevator up and down with our luggage. There was a lot of street noise at night but still had an amazing sleep. Would stay again. The kids loved the stuffie in the room and the yellow house coats.
- 5/5
We loved our stay here at Hotel 5. The staff were extremely friendly, the room was clean and spacious and had tons of cute little extras that were appreciated. Definitely would recommend and stay here again!
- 5/5
Gray customer service, great location!!!
- 1/5
Elevators were out all weekend. One was out when we arrived. The other was out the next day and it seemed unlikely any efforts were made to remedy the issue. As the son of someone who spent over 20 years in a wheelchair or worse for a hotel in a major city with multiple allegedly ADA-compliant rooms to have both elevators out is wildly unacceptable.
- 5/5
Nice location, easy walk to Space Needle as well as Monorail station and Puke Place Market. Felt safe with room keys for elevator use. Super comfortable beds with fantastic mattresses and duvets. Nice towels and toiletries in rooms. Enjoyed refillable waterbottle as well as in room tea & coffee. Appreciated included drink coupons as well as pineapple cookies. Staff knowledgeable and helpful with local info and ideas. Enjoyed water refill station in lobby as well as onsite parking.
- 5/5
WOULD HAVE LIKED BETTER PILLOWS.
- 5/5
10-15 min walk from Pike Place. Very walkable area around the hotel. Amenities were great, grabbed breakfast on check out day. Staff were helpful. Water refill available downstairs.
- 4/5
Excellent location - walkable to most everything we wanted to access. Staff was very friendly & tried to help but wifi never worked in our room & that was troublesome. Elevator was out of service for at least a day & a half; we were able to manage our luggage & ourselves up & down / to & from our 3rd floor room & staff offered help. Didn't like the individual duvets on the bed & when we asked for a regular blanket we were given just a top sheet (not a blanket).
- 5/5
Mini fridge & microwave needed
- 5/5
Loved everything about staying here , staff was absolutely amazing and a safe place to leave our furr babies without worry. Only thing to complain about was there was only one working elevator which made it difficult to use as it was busy. But we loved our stay!
- 3/5
The air conditioner in the room made so much noise - small prop plane and an alarm sounds- that even with ear buds playing background noise you could still hear it. Horrible night’s sleep. Luckily only stayed one night.
- 5/5
The front staff was incredible. Great sushi restaurant recommendation. They held our luggage in a secure room. Cookies at front desk were worth the trip alone. Loved the pineapple/yellow theme. The robes and towels were plush.
- 3/5
The elevator was out 3 of the 4 days I was there. I have never liked the amenity fee that is charged per day.
- 4/5
It was central
- 5/5
The name itself said it all. Very unique. The service was excellent. Great morning coffee. Convenient to the attractions. A 10 minute walk will get you to the beautiful waterfront waters and lots of delcious seafood! Property was clean. VIP treatment was a pleasant surprise.
- 3/5
Close to everything. Both Elevators broken had to carry luggage up to 5th floor and use steps whole week there. Parking lot very tight, our car was damaged the first night there by someone. Hallways seem rundown and need a facelift. Bathroom sink wouldn’t drain had to use bathtub to do everything shaving etc. bed skirting stained room lighting too dark.
- 5/5
Very convenient location. Walkable to Market, Space Needle, Waterfront and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful.
- 2/5
One elevator was broken the entire stay. On the last day both were broken so we had to lug our bags downstairs. They charge a resort fee every day that you really get nothing for. I ran out of toilet tissue and when I asked downstairs for some they said they would send some up and that took an hour when they could have just handed it to me. I would not recommend this hotel. The only good thing about it was how close it was to everything.
- 5/5
The hotel was quiet, the bedding was super comfortable, the free drink was nice
- 5/5
The bed was amazing!!
- 5/5
This hotel is centrally located and provides a unique experience. Staff was great and beverage vouchers are a bonus. Beds were super comfortable.
- 5/5
The elevator broke 👎
- 3/5
Elevator! Sheets
- 4/5
No sheets? Just why? European duvet? Seems like an excuse to not make the bed. And why are they showers made for people who are 5 feet tall? And the elevators? Come on. You have 2 and one is broke down and the second one sucks ass.
- 5/5
Really wonderful place great customer service fantastic location. Came in late at night was greeted by staff who couldn't have been friendlier. Did not know that this was a dog friendly hotel so be prepared for that if that bothers you. When we walked into the room there was a noticeable order, but it dissipated quickly and did not bother us for our stay. But if that's something that really bothers you just be aware. Everything was lovely really very very nice place. The pickup to the port was super easy and that level of service from somebody outside the hotel was impeccable even offered to come and pick us up on the way back which took away some of our stress level for our return. I would definitely recommend to stay here.
- 5/5
😊
- 5/5
Everything was great.
- 5/5
Wonderful pet friendly hotel with great, friendly staff. Nice room and amenities. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay
- 5/5
The room was clean and the bedding was amazing, this hotel really makes a point to offer a good night's rest to travelers! It is located in downtown Seattle, an easy walk to the light rail station that takes you to the airport. Staff were friendly and nice. Lots if dining options nearby.
- 3/5
Room was dark, cramped and not very clean. Parking was super expensive, as was room.
- 5/5
The hotel was awesome, the staff was even better!
