Reviews
The hotel is praised for its proximity to the airport and friendly staff, but is frequently criticized for its outdated facilities and lack of amenities such as coffee makers in rooms and breakfast options. Some guests also report issues with the elevator, heating, and cleanliness.
- Convenient location near the airport
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Outdated facilities and furnishings
- Lack of amenities such as coffee makers in rooms and breakfast options

Property was clean and convenient to airport. We were given Room 114. This room shared a wall with the kitchen. The staff ran coffee throughout the night and the coffee machines sounds reverberated against the wall with the bed headboards. I was awoken at 3am and again at 5:30 am to industrial coffee machines. Staff did not care when I went out to the desk to report the sounds. Furthermore their airport shuttle decided to service their van at 9:20 am when our scheduled pickup was 9:30 am. At 9:50 am after asking the desk repeatedly to check in the shuttle, I went out to the van where I was told they have regular maintenance. Note, the desk agent couldn’t find the Walkie talkie and we were forced to walk to the airport because the shuttle driver could not give me a time we could leave. If the maintenance was unexpected, I expect the hotel to solve this gap since they had us schedule a time which was based on our departure

Very clean. Good breakfast. Pleasant staff.
- 5/5
Clean &!comfortable super close to airport.
- 4/5
Average hotel. Airport shuttle was convenient and on time. No coffee maker in room.
- 5/5
Great hotel airport. Clean and new with helpful and friendly staff. Airport shuttle was nice.
- 5/5
Why no coffee makers in the rooms? Why no cups for the coffee in the lobby? The ride to the airport was great
- 1/5
Staff was unfriendly. Airport shuttle was not on time. Difficult check-in!
- 3/5
It was fine
- 4/5
Overall, a good place to stay. Clean and quiet with airport shuttle service. Nice retro decor and decent breakfast included. But, not a great selection of food at the snack shop (we got in around 8:30 pm) and no wine or beer available for a night cap.
- 3/5
Food selection available was minimal. No coffee in room. Breakfast selection was minimal.
- 5/5
Nice bteackfast, close to airport
- 5/5
I dislike having to pay for overnight parking.
- 1/5
When I arrived in the middle of the night from my flight the airport shuttle and front desk staff were totally unresponsive to multiple phone calls despite their assurance the day before they were both a 24 hour service. One call was finally answered by the front desk who promised a shuttle which never showed up. As I had an early flight the next morning at 2:00 am, after other numerous unanswered calls, I was forced to sleep in a seat at the empty airport until my flight.
- 3/5
I was kick out before check out It was lovely aside from management.
- 5/5
You can walk to this hotel from the airport if you don't have a lot of bags with you. We had extra luggage so we ordered an UBER. Took 7min to get there, walking is probably 20-25min walk from baggage claim. The room was very spacious, staff let us check in early since the room was available. This was perfect location for our one night layover. No convenience stores or places to eat nearby but you can always Doordash or Uber eats something.
- 4/5
Easy access to breakfast - would have like some fitness options
- 5/5
Great service. Close to the airport.
- 5/5
Fresh , clean ,comfortable , easy to get to , close to the airport , good breakfast !!!!! We weren’t told about the complementary breakfast !
- 3/5
Shuttle never showed up at the airport. Our room key would;t open the door. After multiple attempts by staff they finally put us in a new room. Breakfast area was gross. Glad we only had to stay here one night
- 5/5
The room very clean and very friendly staff
- 2/5
Room size and cleanliness No cafe/restaurant. Limited staff help.
- 5/5
Clean and convenient hotel.
- 5/5
The room was clean and ready, even though we arrived early. The Hotel receptionist was very nice and quick. She made sure we had what we needed and let us go on our way.
- 5/5
No breakfast offered.
- 5/5
The facility was clean and our room smelled great.
- 5/5
The staff were very helpful and friendly too. A great deal for the price and a convenient location too!
- 3/5
Staff was not helpful at all. It’s get no one at the hotel to answer the phone prior to arriving sat in the makeshift lobby for hours waiting for a room..
- 3.5/5
Good
- 4/5
We had choose this location as it was very close to the airport and we had a early flight the next morning. The room was very spacious with a larger than expected bathroom. Amenities were as expected from a Hilton chain hotel. I believe they also offer a breakfast service in the morning, but we left for the airport before that was available. The hotel also offered a complimentary shuttle service that you had to sign up for (max of 13 people per shuttle per time slot) which as very nice. However, while that works in theory and on a honesty scale, there was a case in which 2 other travelers cut the queue during our time slot as we had 15 people waiting to board the shuttle. Alternatively, if you have plenty of time, the airport was about a 10 minute walk away from the hotel.
- 5/5
Perfect location to the airport! Nice room!
- 2/5
I had to request a remove because there was blood on the wall in my shower. I didn’t want to have to wake up to that in the morning. I’ve stayed at the Coastal hotel next-door before and paid exactly the same for a much nicer room and much cleaner.
- 5/5
Rooms are very spacious and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast was sufficient and the airport shuttle was very convenient.
- 5/5
It was the perfect location to the airport. We loved the free shuttle to the airport which was perfectly on time. We were able to check in early after getting off the cruise. There are several places to eat within a couple of blocks. I loved the yogurt bar in the morning. The only thing I could point out is the morning desk clerk was a little rude but, we could ignore her. But, everything else was perfectly wonderful.
- 5/5
Awesome spot and service was great
- 5/5
Great clean room. Ample space. Nice view of Mt. Ranier on the upper floors on the south side. Super easy shuttle to the airport! No anxiety. Very helpful staff at the front desk. Walking distance to restaurants nearby. I recommend staying there if you need to be close to the airport.
- 4/5
The hotel is across the road and a short distance walk from the airport terminal. The room was very clean, Comfy and Quiet. It took me about 25 minutes door-to-door (hotel to boarding gate) Breakfast is not their best trait. though it seems as a standard American style buffet (no vegetables, no meat, no hard cheese, mostly highly-processed products)
- 5/5
The breakfast menu was fresh and lots of tasty options.
- 4/5
Breakfast was mediocre. By 9:00 am the selections were very slim. No milk for the cereal, boiled egg container was empty. Several disgruntled and impatient people who also came in shortly after 9 am. Hotel room walls are a little thin so you can hear other guests in the hallway and close rooms. Great airport shuttle every 30 minutes.
- 4/5
Our rooms are clean Had a great stay, I will recommend to my friends.
- 4/5
Great for its purpose! Next to the airport, shuttle and big and nice rooms! Nothing really
- 5/5
Perfect spot near the airport, especially for our early departure. N/A
- 4/5
Very clean and new. Didn’t love the window situation out to the parking lot. Felt very grimy.
- 3/5
A/C was intermittent. Breakfast was terrible. Yogurt machine broken. Wouldn’t even call what they provided as a continental breakfast more like a half baked attempt.
- 5/5
I would recommend this hotel. Very friendly service and the room was really nice
- 4.5/5
Close to the airport, clean and nice hotel with very polite staff.
- 5/5
Great room,
- 1/5
The night staff is rude. The amenities were poor. The breakfast was just okay. The bananas were rotten. I’m very sure I will not be returning to this establishment.
- 4.5/5
A little bit noisy due to its closeness to the airport.
- 5/5
Delicia at the front desk was super friendly. The room was great. The bed was comfy. The breakfast was delish. The shuttle guy was super helpful. All that and 5 minutes from the airport!
- 5/5
The rooms were great. They were clean and fresh. The staff’s knowledge of the surrounding area was very limited not really helpful at all. The shuttles could have run every fifteen minutes rather than every thirty and also allowed some wait time.
- 4.5/5
Very clean and economical. Great location for our purpose Nil
- 5/5
Thank you for the wonderful stay. Petra
- 4/5
I thought everything about my stay was very good with one noteable exception. The free breakfast was very underwhelming. I expected something better from a Hilton property
- 4/5
Clean room
- 3/5
No in room coffee makers. The breakfast was just bagels. No milk for the cereals etc.
- 5/5
Since the shuttle runs on the hour and half hour, we ending up waiting for at least a half an hour for the shuttle. Once we discovered how close to the airport Spark is located, we walked when we returned to the airport. It took less than 10 minutes!! The room was clean and huge! Very comfortable and we had a great night of sleep. Perfect hotel for a before or after flights.
- 5/5
We loved the many changes Hilton has made to the old Red Lion. Clean, modern, and sleek.
- 4.5/5
Staff and stay was excellent!
- 3.5/5
Location, walking distance to SEA. It was very clean. The breakfast was very lacking. They run out of the very things they serve, hard boiled eggs, bagels, muffins, and even coffee, but don’t refill them for a very long time.
- 4/5
Nothing I can think of
- 4/5
Large spacious rooms Shuttle from airport was slow and confusing. Check in was a mess. Long line to check in at 10 pm. Staff confused about our booking. Said they had cancelled it. Then we suddenly had 4 rooms under our name. Guy in front of us was given an uncleaned room.
- 4/5
Room was clean and staff friendly. The only con was the food service. Not a single staff was there to help with food and serving utensils needed
- 5/5
shuttle was hard to figure out at the airport we finally called hotel to get information
- 5/5
It was great
- 4/5
Cleanliness
- 4/5
Brand new facility, and staff were very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness was top notch.
- 5/5
Great one night stay for a very early morning flight. The lobby was spacious and clean. Our room was very clean, the bed was firm but comfortable. Most notable, no detectable odors of any kind. No heavy perfumes or cleaning solutions to cover up the bad. I highly recommend the Spark hotel.
- 4/5
Clean room, easy check in and out, close to airport. Did not eat breakfast there do to early flight. Staff was friendly and we used a free shuttle to and from the airport. Would stay there again.
- 5/5
Room was clean, check-in was quick and easy. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was simple self-serve. On our first visit on May first the bathroom sink faucet was loose
- 2/5
早餐選項很有限,而且桌腳很糟糕。相對這個價位來說,附近有很多選項。
- 1/5
The shuttle was 45 mins late with no apology. The general manger was rude at check in. He lacked emotional self control and wanted to engage in an argument however I chose not to speak and just check in. After checking in and walking away with my wife he tried one more time to engage with a passive aggressive attitude. When I didn’t, he said “oh no you are not staying here with that attitude” and cancelled our reservation. Absolutely unbelievable lack of pose, self control and leadership.
- 4/5
The beds were amazing. Had been on a trip hitting 5 different hotels. The sparks beds were the most comfortable.
- 4/5
Newer hotel so nothing was old or worn. But the 2 nd floor has no ice machine, only a space for one. The safe in my room was inoperative and the manager wasn’t able to get it fixed during my: day stay. The furniture is basic but completely functional and the bed was very comfy. Basic bathroom with large shower but no tub. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast buffet. World stay there again.
- 4/5
Decent clean property
- 5/5
Good service
- 2/5
Requested at time of booking for a quiet location, instead got room next to elevator and maid service area.( Hotel was not very full at all ) White bathroom floor dirty, Long black hairs on bed, no coffee maker. Noisy night, sink would not drain. Cold breakfast with minimal offerings, no hot items, no coffee when we went down. Lobby agent very unfriendly at 7am, 15 minutes later she brought a coffee pot into lobby which was like brown hot water. No coffee in breakfast room. Room to sit down in was across hall, a very Micky mouse set up with bare bones minimum akin to a super 8, not a Hilton, spark or otherwise. Perhaps it all was just due to the usual passive aggressive Seattle customer service - some of you will know exactly what I am talking about. I would never stay here again.
- 3/5
System were down we couldn’t get a key for our room. Really inconvenient
- 4/5
Very clean, airport shuttle easy, no breakfast we left early
- 5/5
N/A
- 2/5
- 5/5
We were only there overnight due to an early flight and the TSA chaos. Staff was friendly and knowledgable. A few restaurants in the area. We walked to 13 Coins, which was fabulous. Breakfast the next morning had decent options and the whole family was happy and fed.
- 4/5
Very clean new convenient to the airport they even gave you a little breakfast
- 5/5
Staff was professional and room was clean. Convenient to the airport.
- 3/5
Did not eat
- 5/5
El desayuno es demasiado basico, pero sus instalaciones todo en general en perfectas condiciones y ubicacion provilegiada
- 3/5
did not use not open early enough
- 5/5
Clean room and hotel, very limited amenities, value for money but not much more. Very nice staff though
- 5/5
What a comfortable room! Our doggie was happily received (a huge relief after a long flight), and the breakfast was nice too. The shuttle was easy peasy. So convenient!
- 3/5
The Park by Hilton was nice and very clean. The room was spacious. Breakfast was well nice with good choices. The site is pet friendly. We reserved and paid for an accessible room with a roll-in shower, but they didn't have enough of the room type available when we checked in. Recommend if you are wheelchair bound that you contact the property prior at booking to verify room availability.
- 5/5
Room was fresh and clean. Carpet smelt new
- 5/5
It was easy and super convenient to get to the airport at 430am on their shuttle. Appreciated the great restaurant called 13 coins almost right nextdoor with easy walking. It was delicious!
- 4/5
juice only at 7 a. m. ; room short or water bottle or glass to take medicines
- 5/5
No breakfast. No bar.
- 5/5
Breakfast was very weak for a Hilton but walking distance to the airport.
- 3/5
Not a single cup in the room? No coffee males vs a
- 5/5
Room was very spacious, we felt very comfortable dying our stay
- 1/5
I kept saying can i help you they didnt even hear me they walked in and when the finally realized i was there a hispanic man said sorry and then they continued to talk while i was in my hibderqear and tanktop for like an extra 5-10 min trying to figure out which room they needed to go into. Then the older white man sat over my bed and asked me where i was from and he told me he was from detroit. Then they eventually started to walk out. I assumed they were workers even though the white man was actung very strange still Called front desk when they left the agent told me the qhite man was drunk and the hispanic man was escorting him. Why didnt they look him up before? Why did they just trust a drunk mans word? The agent said bc i booked thru a third party which was hotels.com they couldnt refund me or anything and asked me if i wanted somwthing from a bar or something which ridiculous this is an breach in contract with an invasion of privavy violation. I woke up the next morning to complain and the agent was very nice and said the manager would be in at 8am and would call me this was 6am so had to catch a flight its now 1230 i the day and not recieved a call. I will absolutely be taking this further. No sense of urgency about this is crazy
- 4/5
If you’re looking for airport convenience it doesn’t get better. Continental breakfast was a 7 on a 1-10
- 5/5
Very clean. Great shower. Excellent clerk and shuttle service
- 4/5
Staff was courteous, breakfast was simple, but good. They had apples for fruit, the variety of bagels, yogurt, and toppings for the yogurt. They had a machine with variety of juice, more like a quick grab and go kind of breakfast. The rooms were simple, everything seemed like from IKEA, especially the bedsheets and pillows. Overall, great location and very clean.
- 5/5
Really clean, staff was nice, alot better then other hotels near the airport!
- 4/5
Check in and the attendants were fast and very kind. My only complaint was there were no hair dryers in the room.
- 4/5
Very close to the airport—I walked there. It was very convenient. It’s a little outdated but still nice
- 4/5
Nice property, just slightly run down. Clean.
- 2/5
Hotel is closing so they just decided screw the guest. Won’t stay at one again and will be sure to tell others of my experiences there.
- 4/5
This hotel is closing for renovations. It's a bit old fashioned but clean, comfortable, and very convenient to the Seattle airport. Because it was closing there were no amenities, no breakfast, and it felt a bit deserted. However it was well suited to our needs for comfortable clean lodging near the airport.
- 5/5
Easy place to stay with my family before an early morning flight. The airport shuttle was super fast and convenient.
- 5/5
Quick access to the airport in 10 minute intervals! Excellent for travelers on the go!
- 5/5
Great for a quick overnight.
- 4/5
Good receptionist, kind and helpful.
- 3/5
Generic hotel close to SeaTac. A/C-heat was very loud/noisy. Basic everything. No coffee in room. Shuttle to airport every 10 minutes was a huge bonus.
- 4/5
We only stayed one night due to the fact that we headed back home the next day...
- 5/5
Good, the staff at court are nice
- 5/5
Very nice room super helpful staff
- 3/5
Excellent location, next to the airport, with a shuttle. VERY noisy, as walls are thin! If you want sleep, go elsewhere.
- 4/5
Just an overnight before a flight.
- 5/5
So close to SEA int’l airport and has a shuttle. Not super fancy, but has a clean bed and shower. We’ll be ready for our flight early in the morning and will have a shuttle to the airport. Friendly front desk staff!
- 5/5
Walking distance to airport, very convenient, 7-11 and restaurants close by. Very comfortable beds, big room, microwave and fridge in room.
- 3/5
No breakfast or coffee
- 4/5
Stains on the floor and bed. Just overall needs new carpet.
- 5/5
The doors aren't quite insulated, so the neighbors can be quite loud. Toilet kept running all night as well, but ear plugs work for that.
- 3/5
Good value but no restaurant inside and no breakfast.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Very comfortable beds
- 4/5
I was a bit disappointed there was no coffee in the room or hotel. Especially for us early fliers.
- 4/5
Very close to the airport and excellent service at this Red Lion.
- 4/5
This is an older hotel, a classic. I stayed here 40 years ago on my first trip to Seattle. It has been well maintained, is very clean, has good furniture, and an actual bath tub. The room is huge and I like the minimalist decor. Access to and from SEATAC couldn't be better, you can take the 24 hour shuttle or even walk! It's a 4 minute stroll to the 13 Coins restaurant or have food delivered.
- 5/5
Easy shuttle or walk to and from airport
- 5/5
It was exactly what I needed as far as convenience and ease.
- 5/5
NA
- 3/5
The stay was great. The hotel is very convenient, right across the street from the airport. We actually walked instead of catching the shuttle to the airport. The rooms are a bit old and not the newest, no frills but convenient when you have an early morning or late night flight.
- 5/5
Close to airport and affordable.
- 4/5
We were there long enough to get some sleep the airport shuttle service was very good
- 3/5
The room and hotel were clean and location was excellent. We had problems connecting to the WiFi, it did not connect until the morning we were leaving. We could not get the tv to turn on. We did not call the front desk for that because we ended out going for a walk around the airport instead.
- 1/5
Bathroom so small door didn’t open all the way Not so clean either
- 4/5
Close to the airport with good shuttle service.
- 3/5
Informed they were shutting down at the end of the month. No breakfast or any usual amenities. Elevators unreliable and slow. Room was clean though.
- 4/5
It’s perfectly adequate for staying overnight to catch an early morning plane. Easy 24hr shuttle to the airport that leaves every 10minutes.
- 3/5
Good service, clean rooms, older and somewhat worn facility, noisy (thin walls and noise from neighboring rooms.
- 4/5
I love that they had a bus shuttle even though it was a walkable distance to the airport.
- 4/5
Very convenient to the airport. Hotel is definitely showing its age, but for one night it’s fine.
- 3/5
They could use a little extra maintenance on the carpet in the room as there were a couple of areas it was torn. Also, one of the elevators was not working which made going to and from the room a little hectic..especially in the morning
- 5/5
Close and comfortable
- 3/5
Hotel closing in one month. Not even a vending machine. Staff were great.
- 5/5
Close to airport
- 5/5
All is good. In one word, Perfect
- 3/5
The room needed some repairs. Areas were not as clean as they should be. No coffee machine in the room. My room was quiet and comfortable and the linens were very nice.
- 5/5
The areas of concern for me….I was not happy to have to be charged $25 to park in a parking lot open to the public and had signs notifying you to park at your own risk. The overall cleanliness of our room was satisfactory, however, over the course of our stay, we noticed a dirty sock behind the night stand, legos under the bed along with a child workbook, etc. The first day we posted the “do not disturb” sign, however, the second day no house keeping, and we ran out of toilet paper. Refrigerator small freezer was full of ice and the frig was hardly cold, with a child who has food allergies, we rely on groceries when we are traveling. The thermostat was that of the old lever type and only went from 60-70 no way to cool the room down it blew warm air, we are a warm family who generally keeps the thermostat at 65 year round, it was not pleasant. All and all this was not a bad stay, some upgrades and attention to detail by the cleaning crew and get rid of the ridiculous parking lot fee would make this a great place to stay.
- 5/5
Close and convenient, great staff!
- 4/5
The staff is awesome and the airport shuttle service was terrific. This was a convenient and clean place to overnight before an international journey. They lost a star because the walls are thin and traffic noise is audible. There was no bottled water or coffee or teapot in the room. There is an entry light switch that doesn’t work.
- 4/5
No issues
- 1/5
No air conditioning , the whole point of staying overnight here was to have a good night sleep before 19 hrs flight , no luck here, was burning rhe whole night , had to wet my pj to have at least something cool on my skin
- 1/5
Check in was okay…then it was down hill from there. Went to our room…toilet didn’t flush properly, and we didn’t find that out until we used it (pooped) the first time. Back to the front desk. Get another room…TV doesn’t work correctly, not able to change channels/sound. Go to call front desk, phone doesn’t work either! Back down to front desk…they’ll send someone to “check on it” as if we’re too stupid to know how to work a remote. Guy comes in , lifts up receiver to phone, looks at me and tells me it isn’t working..well duh! Traces the problem to a frayed cord that looked like an animal had gnawed on it. Goes and gets another phone…voilà, it works! Tries to “fix” the TV. Goes and gets a new remote, and it works! Tells us the remote was broken! All seems well for a bit till husband walks to bathroom, barefoot, and steps on a piece of broken glass! Pokes him in the heel and the blood starts flowing! Finally got it stopped after about 30 minutes! But hurts really badly! At least beds were okay. Have had better, but have had worse! Check out the next morning, I deliver the piece of glass to the desk clerk, tell her the story, and she just kinda shrugs and says “sorry about that “! Won’t ever stay here nor recommend this hotel again! BEWARE!
- 3/5
We had to wait 45 minutes for a shuttle and hotel is old.
- 3/5
This hotel really needs an update. The carpets and chairs were in very poor condition. However, the price was in line with the condition and it is walkable from SeaTac.
- 5/5
Very comfortable beds and clean
- 5/5
Very kind and helpful front desk staff who assisted with looking for a forgotten item in the room.
- 4/5
Overall ok and comfortable. Light out in bathroom.
- 2/5
Very poor communication about how to get the shuttle from the airport to the hotel and I had to drag my suitcases all over the airport trying to find the spot after multiple phone calls. It was very upsetting. The room is clean and decent, but I would not stay here again.
- 5/5
Understand they will be upgrading hotel which will make it better.
- 5/5
Very nice and clean the employees were so kind and had a shuttle ready to airport.
- 3/5
I suppose this hotel is okay except I wasn't notified of the $25 parking fee until the day I arrived. In addition it doesn't serve a complimentry breakfast like most other hotels. I could have stayed at another hotel much nicer with a breakfast if I had known about the $25 parking fee and just added that onto the cost somewhere else more expensive but with free parking!
- 2/5
The thermostat in my room was broken. I could not get the temperature below 80 degrees without turning off the HVAC system all together and the getting back up each hour to turn it back on after it got cold.
- 4/5
Just needed a bed for the night close to airport with shuttle. It did the job.
- 5/5
Fast and easy! Front desk staff was great! Even brought us a keurig since we have such and early flight and they wouldn’t have coffee yet!
- 5/5
Pleasant stay
- 5/5
Also, fell free to park and fly it’s the best deal out there and the shuttles lap the airport constantly. No waiting around :)
- 4/5
Clean but shows its age. One elevator hasn’t worked for almost a year!
- 4/5
Great location but the heater in the bedroom doesn’t work to well.
- 3/5
Not terrible, convenient
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
The room was very warm and never cooled down to an acceptable sleeping temperature - I heard the same complaint from another lady who shared the shuttle to the airport
- 5/5
For what we needed it was perfect
- 3/5
The beds were comfortable, check in was good. There are no convenience stores or much to eat nearby. No coffee in rooms. It is in very close proximity to the airport and the shuttle can be had 24/7. The hotel is extremely noisy! I could hear people walking overhead all night. The hotel staff start d vacuuming at 7:30 am. You can hear even faint coughing from next door. If you sleep very heavy would be the place to be. If not maybe find a different hotel. Otherwise, it served its purpose of an expensive close to airport place to rest a few hours before next flight.
- 3/5
Hotel is ok. But definitely old and dated.
- 5/5
Comfortable, reasonably priced, long term parking, close to airport, great people
- 4/5
Look, it’s a cheap hotel very close to the airport, so don’t expect the Four Seasons and you won’t be disappointed. There’s a convenient shuttle to the airport every ten minutes, but I saw a guy just walk there. Check in and out was fast. The water was hot and the AC was cold. Only one very specific complaint for the manager: the shower/tub faucet in room 319 is broken. Lots of wasted water and confusion there.
- 4/5
We were looking for an affordable place near the airport for our overnight layover traveling from Alaska to the East Coast. Sad to hear The Red Lion is closing at the end of the month.
- 4/5
The hotel is very convenient if you are flying out of SeaTac. That is its biggest selling point. Overall the hotel is very dated (Brian Bosworth was playing for the Seahawks the last time this place was remodeled), there is no food onsite and with the exception of The Ramada nearby, there isn't many food options. It served our purpose as we had an early flight, might stay here again under similar circumstances.

The room we were assigned smelled strongly of cheap men's cologne. Very perfumy and headache inducing. The pillows were tiny and so squishy, we had to use the pet person to bed somewhat comfortable. We had two written beds one was okay and the other was super hard. The bottom sheet was not fitted on either bed, so they bunched up as we slept. As a last minute booking, due to our flight being canceled, this room was enough for us to sleep a few hours but we will not book with them again.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Park/cruise/fly option was convenient and good value. Sorry to learn that this property is closing...: (

The hotel itself was good; my room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. My complaint is that their evening airport shuttle service from SeaTac to the hotel -being literally within view of each other- was horrible. It took 45 minutes and 3 phone calls before the shuttle bus arrived for a less-than 10 minute ride to the hotel. It was miserably cold standing outside all that time and made more miserable watching other shuttle buses come and go while mine was missing in action. The dispatcher could offer no explanation, so I can only assume the drive was taking an unscheduled coffee break or nap. I should have called a cab.

Very convenient for long layovers at SEA airport! Shuttles were quick, on time and plentiful no matter when you have to come and go. Staff was very kind and informative and helpful. Only bummer was no in-room coffee and no in-house eatery.

Hotel is seriously run down, No hot water at 11 pm. Carpet looks really dirty.

13 coins resturant next door

Sneaky Fees. They don't notify you of a daily $25 parking fee until the day of your arrival. This is dirty business and I won't be using Red Lion going forward.

No bar or restaurant. No food options.

We got to our room late (on a frigid Seattle night) so didn’t realize that the room wasn’t warming up over time. We asked to be moved at 2:30 am just to get a few hours of non shivering sleep and shower without turning blue. The new room shower had a clump of red hair on the wall and a different dark hair in the tub. My husband and I haven’t paid to be that uncomfortable EVER.

I have stayed at this hotel often. It has always been reasonably priced, but amenities are now nonexistent. Friendly helpful front desk personnel have changed and not for the better . I

Great location and service to SeaTac airport.

First floor rooms are cold but they did bring in a portable heater for us to use. All employees were nice. Had to go next door to Radisson to eat and have a drink. Airport shuttle (every 10 minutes) was great.

Really odd, but I feel the Masterpark they share the building with takes precedence over the guests. Rooms are clean, but dated. Coffee available in the morning, but not other times. Did have large tv in room.

There was no coffee ability in the room, no restaurant on the premise.

Old and outdated

Overnight parking was not included in rate. Informed day before arrival, via text and email that there was $25 parking fee for 1 night. Would have canceled and booked 1 block away cheaper and nicer lobby. Staff needs to smile.

Got what I paid for. Somewhere to lay my head for a few days. Did not offer turn down service without request. Used the same towels and sheets for my entire stay. Nothing amazing but if that’s what you expect going in, it’s fine.

Only one small elevator. When people left at 6am there was a long wait as several cars were full. Eventually we got out but it was nearly 15 min. When we showed up at the can for airport transportation the driver got out and leafy the vicinity. After waiting 5 min I gave up and walked.

Friendly front desk staff, the room was very large. The building itself is a little dated, but everything was clean and in good order. Definitely a nice convenient place to stay if you're going to the airport.
